Então sabereis que eu sou o Senhor. ⁷ Profetizei, pois, como se me deu ordem. Ora enquanto eu profetizava, houve um ruído; e eis que se fez um rebuliço, e os ossos se achegaram, osso ao seu osso. ⁸ E olhei, e eis que vieram nervos sobre eles, e cresceu a carne, e estendeu-se a pele sobre eles por cima; mas não havia neles fôlego. ⁹ Então ele me disse: Profetiza ao fôlego da vida, profetiza, ó filho do homem, e diz ao fôlego da vida: Assim diz o Senhor Deus: Vem dos quatro ventos, ó fôlego da vida, e assopra sobre estes mortos, para que vivam. ¹⁰ Profetizei, pois, como ele me ordenara; então o fôlego da vida entrou neles e viveram, e se puseram em pé, um exército grande em extremo.

Jeg svarte: Herre, Israels Gud, du vet det! ⁴ Da sa han til mig: Spå om disse ben og si til dem: I tørre ben, hør Herrens ord! ⁵ Så sier Herren, Israels Gud, til disse ben: Se, jeg lar det komme livsånde i eder, og I skal bli levende. ⁶ Jeg vil legge sener på eder og la det komme kjøtt på eder og dekke eder med hud og gi livsånde i eder, og I skal bli levende; og I skal kjenne at jeg er Herren. ⁷ Og jeg spådde således som det var befalt mig, og mens jeg spådde, hørtes det en sterk lyd; det blev et bulder, og benene nærmet sig til hverandre. ⁸ Og jeg så, og se, det kom sener og kjøtt på dem, og ovenpå det drog det sig hud over dem; men livsånde var det ikke i dem. ⁹ Da sa han til mig: Spå og tal til livsånden! Romanian⁽ⁱ⁾ ³ El mi -a zis:,,Fiul omului, vor putea oare oasele acestea să învieze?`` Eu am răspuns:,,Doamne, Dumnezeule, tu ştii lucrul acesta!`` ⁴ El mi -a zis:,,Prooroceşte despre oasele acestea, şi spune-le:,Oase uscate, ascultaţi cuvîntul Domnului! ⁵ Aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu către oasele acestea:,Iată că voi face să intre în voi un duh, şi veţi învia! ⁶ Vă voi da vine, voi face să crească pe voi carne, vă voi acoperi cu piele, voi pune duh în voi, şi veţi învia. Şi veţi şti că Eu sînt Domnul.`` ⁷ Am proorocit cum mi se poruncise. Şi pe cînd prooroceam, s'a făcut un vuiet, şi iată că s -a făcut o mişcare, şi oasele s'au apropiat unele de altele! ⁸ M-am uitat, şi iată că le-au venit vine, carnea a crescut, şi le -a acoperit pielea pe deasupra; dar nu era încă duh în ele. ⁹ El mi -a zis:,,Prooroceşte, şi vorbeşte duhului! Prooroceşte, fiul omului, şi zi duhului:,Aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu:,Duhule, vino din cele patru vînturi, suflă peste morţii aceştia, ca să învieze!` ¹⁰ Am proorocit, cum mi se poruncise. Şi a intrat duhul în ei, şi au înviat, şi au stătut pe picioare: era o oaste mare, foarte mare la număr.

І пізнаєте ви, що Я Господь! ⁷ І пророкував я, як наказано. І знявся шум, коли я пророкував, і ось гуркіт, а кості зближалися, кістка до кістки своєї. ⁸ І побачив я, аж ось на них жили, і виросло тіло, і була натягнена на них шкіра зверху, та духа не було в них. ⁹ І сказав Він мені: Пророкуй до духа, пророкуй, сину людський, та й скажеш до духа: Так говорить Господь Бог: Прилинь, духу, з чотирьох вітрів, і дихни на цих забитих, і нехай оживуть! ¹⁰ І я пророкував, як Він наказав був мені, і ввійшов у них дух, і вони ожили, і поставали на ноги свої, військо дуже-дуже велике!...
