Hiszen a próféták mondják vala nékik: Fegyvert nem láttok, éhség sem lesz rajtatok, sõt állandó békességet adok néktek ezen a helyen. ¹⁴ És monda az Úr nékem: Hazugságot prófétálnak a próféták az én nevemben; nem küldtem õket, nem parancsoltam nékik, nem is beszéltem velök; hazug látomást, varázslást, hiábavalóságot és szívbeli csalárdságot jövendölnek néktek. ¹⁵ Azért ezt mondja az Úr a próféták felõl, a kik az én nevemben prófétálnak, holott én nem küldtem õket és mégis azt mondják: fegyver és éhség nem lesz e földön: Fegyver és éhség miatt vesznek el azok a próféták!

Indonesian⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹² Sekalipun mereka berpuasa, Aku tidak mau memperhatikan seruan mereka minta tolong; dan sekalipun mereka mempersembahkan kepada-Ku kurban bakaran dan kurban gandum, Aku tidak akan senang dengan mereka. Sebaliknya, Aku akan menumpas mereka dengan perang, kelaparan, dan wabah penyakit." ¹³ Lalu aku berkata, "Ya TUHAN Yang Mahatinggi, Engkau tahu nabi-nabi telah berkata kepada rakyat bahwa tak akan ada peperangan atau kelaparan, karena Engkau telah berjanji bahwa di negeri ini selalu akan ada kedamaian." ¹⁴ Tapi TUHAN menjawab, "Nabi-nabi itu membawa berita dusta atas nama-Ku; Aku tidak mengutus mereka, dan tidak juga memberi perintah atau berbicara kepada mereka. Aš jų nesiunčiau, nepaliepiau ir nekalbėjau jiems. Doamne Dumnezeule! Iată că proorocii lor le zic:,Nu veţi vedea sabie, şi nu veţi avea foamete; ci Domnul vă va da în locul acesta o pace trainică.` ¹⁴ Dar Domnul mi -a răspuns:,Proorocii lor proorocesc minciuni în Numele Meu; Eu nu i-am trimes, nu le-am dat poruncă, şi nu le-am vorbit; ci ei vă proorocesc nişte vedenii mincinoase, proorociri deşerte, înşelătorii şi închipuiri scoase din inima lor. ¹⁵ De aceea aşa vorbeşte Domnul despre proorocii cari măcar că nu i-am trimes Eu, proorocesc totuş în Numele Meu, şi zic: Nu va fi nici sabie, nici foamete în ţara aceasta.` -,Proorocii aceştia vor pieri ucişi de sabie şi de foamete!

Ukrainian⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹² Як вони будуть постити, Я не послухаю їхніх благань, а коли принесуть цілопалення й дар, Я їх не прийму, бо Я повигублюю всіх їх мечем, і голодом, і моровицею!... ¹³ А я відказав: О Господи, Боже! Ось пророки говорять до них: Ви не будете бачити меча, і не буде вам голоду, правдивий бо мир в цьому місці вам дам! ¹⁴ Та промовив до мене Господь: Ці пророки неправду Іменням Моїм пророкують: Я їх не посилав, і не наказував їм, і їм не говорив! Вони вам пророкують невірні видіння та чари, нікчемність й оману свого серця... ¹⁵ Тому так промовляє Господь на пророків, які пророкують Іменням Моїм, хоч Я не посилав їх, та що кажуть вони: Меч та голод не буде в цім Краї: від меча та від голоду згинуть пророки такі!
