Romanian⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹¹ Este un neam de oameni care blastămă pe tatăl său, şi nu binecuvintează pe mamă-sa. ¹² Este un neam de oameni care se crede curat, şi totuş, nu este spălat de întinăciunea lui. ¹³ Este un neam de oameni ai căror ochi sînt trufaşi, şi cari îşi ţin pleoapele sus. ¹⁴ Este un neam de oameni, ai căror dinţi sînt nişte săbii, şi ale căror măsele sînt nişte cuţite, ca să mănînce pe cel nenorocit de pe pămînt, şi pe cei lipsiţi dintre oameni. - ¹⁵ Lipitoarea are două fete:,,Dă! dă!`` Trei lucruri sînt nesăţioase, patru lucruri nu zic niciodată:,,Destul!``, ¹⁶ şi anume: Locuinţa morţilor, femeia stearpă, pămîntul, care nu este sătul de apă, şi focul, care nu zice niciodată:,,Destul!`` - ¹⁷ Pe ochiul care îşi bate joc de tatăl său, şi nesocoteşte ascultarea de mamă, îl vor scobi corbii dela pîrîu, şi îl vor mînca puii de vultur. -

Оці три не наситяться, чотири не скажуть досить: ¹⁶ шеол та утроба неплідна, водою земля не насититься, і не скаже досить огонь! ¹⁷ Око, що з батька сміється й погорджує послухом матері, нехай видзьобають його круки поточні, і нехай орленята його пожеруть!
