Deuteronomy 4:16-23

  16 H6435 Lest H7843 you corrupt H6213 yourselves, and make H6459 you a graven H8544 image, the similitude H3605 of any H5566 figure, H8403 the likeness H2145 of male H176 or H5347 female,

  17 H8403 The likeness H3605 of any H929 beast H5921 that is on H776 the earth, H8403 the likeness H3605 of any H3671 winged H6833 fowl H5774 that flies H8064 in the air,

  18 H8403 The likeness H3605 of any H7430 thing that creeps H5921 on H127 the ground, H8403 the likeness H3605 of any H1710 fish H4325 that is in the waters H8478 beneath H776 the earth:

  19 H6435 And lest H5375 you lift H5869 up your eyes H8064 to heaven, H7200 and when you see H8121 the sun, H3394 and the moon, H3556 and the stars, H3605 even all H6635 the host H8064 of heaven, H5080 should be driven H7812 to worship H5647 them, and serve H834 them, which H3068 the LORD H430 your God H2505 has divided H3605 to all H5971 nations H8478 under H3605 the whole H8064 heaven.

  20 H3068 But the LORD H3947 has taken H3318 you, and brought H3318 you forth H1270 out of the iron H3564 furnace, H4714 even out of Egypt, H5971 to be to him a people H5159 of inheritance, H2088 as you are this H3117 day.

  21 H3068 Furthermore the LORD H599 was angry H1697 with me for your sakes, H7650 and swore H5674 that I should not go H5674 over H3383 Jordan, H935 and that I should not go H2896 in to that good H776 land, H834 which H3068 the LORD H430 your God H5414 gives H5159 you for an inheritance:

  22 H4191 But I must die H2088 in this H776 land, H5674 I must not go H5674 over H3383 Jordan: H5674 but you shall go H5674 over, H3423 and possess H2896 that good H776 land.

  23 H8104 Take heed H6435 to yourselves, lest H7911 you forget H1285 the covenant H3068 of the LORD H430 your God, H834 which H6213 he made with you, and make H6459 you a graven H8544 image, or the likeness H3605 of any H834 thing, which H3068 the LORD H430 your God H6680 has forbidden you.
