  1 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H259 באחת in the eleventh H6240 עשׂרה in the eleventh H8141 שׁנה year, H7992 בשׁלישׁי in the third H259 באחד in the first H2320 לחדשׁ of the month, H1961 היה came H1697 דבר the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H413 אלי unto H559 לאמר׃ me, saying,
  2 H1121 בן Son H120 אדם of man, H559 אמר speak H413 אל unto H6547 פרעה Pharaoh H4428 מלך king H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H413 ואל and to H1995 המונו his multitude; H413 אל   H4310 מי   H1819 דמית art thou like H1433 בגדלך׃ in thy greatness?
  3 H2009 הנה Behold, H804 אשׁור the Assyrian H730 ארז a cedar H3844 בלבנון in Lebanon H3303 יפה with fair H6057 ענף branches, H2793 וחרשׁ shroud, H6751 מצל and with a shadowing H1362 וגבה and of a high H6967 קומה stature; H996 ובין among H5688 עבתים the thick boughs. H1961 היתה was H6788 צמרתו׃ and his top
  4 H4325 מים The waters H1431 גדלוהו made him great, H8415 תהום the deep H7311 רממתהו set him up on high H854 את with H5104 נהרתיה her rivers H1980 הלך running H5439 סביבות round about H4302 מטעה his plants, H853 ואת   H8585 תעלתיה her little rivers H7971 שׁלחה and sent out H413 אל unto H3605 כל all H6086 עצי the trees H7704 השׂדה׃ of the field.
  5 H5921 על   H3651 כן   H1361 גבהא was exalted H6967 קמתו his height H3605 מכל above all H6086 עצי the trees H7704 השׂדה of the field, H7235 ותרבינה were multiplied, H5634 סרעפתיו and his boughs H748 ותארכנה became long H6288 פארתו and his branches H4325 ממים of waters, H7227 רבים because of the multitude H7971 בשׁלחו׃ when he shot forth.
  6 H5589 בסעפתיו in his boughs, H7077 קננו made their nests H3605 כל All H5775 עוף the fowls H8064 השׁמים of heaven H8478 ותחת and under H6288 פארתיו his branches H3205 ילדו bring forth their young, H3605 כל did all H2416 חית the beasts H7704 השׂדה of the field H6738 ובצלו and under his shadow H3427 ישׁבו dwelt H3605 כל all H1471 גוים nations. H7227 רבים׃ great
  7 H3302 וייף Thus was he fair H1433 בגדלו in his greatness, H753 בארך in the length H1808 דליותיו of his branches: H3588 כי for H1961 היה was H8328 שׁרשׁו his root H413 אל by H4325 מים waters. H7227 רבים׃ great
  8 H730 ארזים The cedars H3808 לא could not H6004 עממהו hide H1588 בגן in the garden H430 אלהים of God H1265 ברושׁים him: the fir trees H3808 לא not H1819 דמו were not like H413 אל unto H5589 סעפתיו his boughs, H6196 וערמנים and the chestnut trees H3808 לא nor H1961 היו were H6288 כפארתיו like his branches; H3605 כל any H6086 עץ tree H1588 בגן in the garden H430 אלהים of God H3808 לא   H1819 דמה was like H413 אליו   H3308 ביפיו׃ him in his beauty.
  9 H3303 יפה him fair H6213 עשׂיתיו I have made H7230 ברב by the multitude H1808 דליותיו of his branches: H7065 ויקנאהו envied H3605 כל so that all H6086 עצי the trees H5731 עדן of Eden, H834 אשׁר that H1588 בגן in the garden H430 האלהים׃ of God,
  10 H3651 לכן Therefore H3541 כה thus H559 אמר saith H136 אדני the Lord H3069 יהוה GOD; H3282 יען   H834 אשׁר   H1361 גבהת thou hast lifted up H6967 בקומה thyself in height, H5414 ויתן and he hath shot up H6788 צמרתו his top H413 אל among H996 בין among H5688 עבותים the thick boughs, H7311 ורם is lifted up H3824 לבבו and his heart H1363 בגבהו׃ in his height;
  11 H5414 ואתנהו I have therefore delivered H3027 ביד him into the hand H410 איל   H1471 גוים of the heathen; H6213 עשׂו he shall surely deal H6213 יעשׂה he shall surely deal H7562 לו כרשׁעו for his wickedness. H1644 גרשׁתהו׃ with him: I have driven him out
  12 H3772 ויכרתהו have cut him off, H2114 זרים And strangers, H6184 עריצי the terrible H1471 גוים of the nations, H5203 ויטשׁהו and have left H413 אל him: upon H2022 ההרים the mountains H3605 ובכל and in all H1516 גאיות the valleys H5307 נפלו are fallen, H1808 דליותיו his branches H7665 ותשׁברנה are broken H6288 פארתיו and his boughs H3605 בכל by all H650 אפיקי the rivers H776 הארץ of the land; H3381 וירדו are gone down H6738 מצלו from his shadow, H3605 כל and all H5971 עמי the people H776 הארץ of the earth H5203 ויטשׁהו׃ and have left
  13 H5921 על Upon H4658 מפלתו his ruin H7931 ישׁכנו remain, H3605 כל shall all H5775 עוף the fowls H8064 השׁמים of the heaven H413 ואל upon H6288 פארתיו his branches: H1961 היו shall be H3605 כל and all H2416 חית the beasts H7704 השׂדה׃ of the field
  14 H4616 למען To the end H834 אשׁר that H3808 לא none H1361 יגבהו exalt themselves H6967 בקומתם for their height, H3605 כל of all H6086 עצי the trees H4325 מים by the waters H3808 ולא neither H5414 יתנו shoot up H853 את   H6788 צמרתם their top H413 אל among H996 בין among H5688 עבתים the thick boughs, H3808 ולא neither H5975 יעמדו stand up H352 אליהם their trees H1363 בגבהם in their height, H3605 כל all H8354 שׁתי that drink H4325 מים water: H3588 כי for H3605 כלם they are all H5414 נתנו delivered H4194 למות unto death, H413 אל to H776 ארץ of the earth, H8482 תחתית the nether parts H8432 בתוך in the midst H1121 בני of the children H120 אדם of men, H413 אל with H3381 יורדי them that go down H953 בור׃ to the pit.
  15 H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H136 אדני the Lord H3068 יהוה   H3117 ביום In the day H3381 רדתו when he went down H7585 שׁאולה to the grave H56 האבלתי I caused a mourning: H3680 כסתי I covered H5921 עליו for H853 את   H8415 תהום the deep H4513 ואמנע him, and I restrained H5104 נהרותיה the floods H3607 ויכלאו were stayed: H4325 מים waters H7227 רבים thereof, and the great H6937 ואקדר to mourn H5921 עליו for H3844 לבנון and I caused Lebanon H3605 וכל him, and all H6086 עצי the trees H7704 השׂדה of the field H5921 עליו for H5969 עלפה׃ fainted
  16 H6963 מקול at the sound H4658 מפלתו of his fall, H7493 הרעשׁתי to shake H1471 גוים I made the nations H3381 בהורדי them that descend H853 אתו   H7585 שׁאולה to hell H854 את with H3381 יורדי   H953 בור into the pit: H5162 וינחמו shall be comforted H776 בארץ of the earth. H8482 תחתית in the nether parts H3605 כל and all H6086 עצי the trees H5731 עדן of Eden, H4005 מבחר the choice H2896 וטוב and best H3844 לבנון of Lebanon, H3605 כל all H8354 שׁתי that drink H4325 מים׃ water,
  17 H1571 גם also H1992 הם They H854 אתו with H3381 ירדו went down H7585 שׁאולה into hell H413 אל him unto H2491 חללי slain H2719 חרב with the sword; H2220 וזרעו and his arm, H3427 ישׁבו dwelt H6738 בצלו under his shadow H8432 בתוך in the midst H1471 גוים׃ of the heathen.
  18 H413 אל To H4310 מי whom H1819 דמית art thou thus like H3602 ככה art thou thus like H3519 בכבוד in glory H1433 ובגדל and in greatness H6086 בעצי among the trees H5731 עדן of Eden? H3381 והורדת yet shalt thou be brought down H854 את with H6086 עצי the trees H5731 עדן of Eden H413 אל unto H776 ארץ of the earth: H8482 תחתית the nether parts H8432 בתוך in the midst H6189 ערלים of the uncircumcised H7901 תשׁכב thou shalt lie H854 את with H2491 חללי slain H2719 חרב by the sword. H1931 הוא This H6547 פרעה Pharaoh H3605 וכל and all H1995 המונה his multitude, H5002 נאם saith H136 אדני the Lord H3069 יהוה׃ GOD.
