Joshua 1:2-9 משׁה Moses עבדי my servant מת is dead; ועתה now קום therefore arise, עבר go over את הירדן Jordan, הזה this אתה thou, וכל and all העם people, הזה this אל unto הארץ the land אשׁר which אנכי I נתן do give להם לבני to them, to the children ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

2 H4872 משׁה Moses H5650 עבדי my servant H4191 מת is dead; H6258 ועתה now H6965 קום therefore arise, H5674 עבר go over H853 את H3383 הירדן Jordan, H2088 הזה this H859 אתה thou, H3605 וכל and all H5971 העם people, H2088 הזה this H413 אל unto H776 הארץ the land H834 אשׁר which H595 אנכי I H5414 נתן do give H1121 להם לבני to them, to the children H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

3 H3605 כל Every H4725 מקום place H834 אשׁר that H1869 תדרך shall tread H3709 כף the sole H7272 רגלכם of your foot H5414 בו לכם נתתיו upon, that have I given H834 כאשׁר unto you, as H1696 דברתי I said H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה׃ Moses.

4 H4057 מהמדבר H3844 והלבנון Lebanon H2088 הזה and this H5704 ועד even unto H5104 הנהר river, H1419 הגדול the great H5104 נהר the river H6578 פרת Euphrates, H3605 כל all H776 ארץ the land H2850 החתים of the Hittites, H5704 ועד and unto H3220 הים sea H1419 הגדול the great H3996 מבוא toward the going down H8121 השׁמשׁ of the sun, H1961 יהיה shall be H1366 גבולכם׃ your coast.

5 H3808 לא There shall not H3320 יתיצב be able to stand H376 אישׁ any man H6440 לפניך before H3605 כל thee all H3117 ימי the days H2416 חייך of thy life: H834 כאשׁר as H1961 הייתי I was H5973 עם with H4872 משׁה Moses, H1961 אהיה I will be H5973 עמך with H3808 לא thee: I will not H7503 ארפך fail H3808 ולא thee, nor H5800 אעזבך׃ forsake

6 H2388 חזק Be strong H553 ואמץ and of a good courage: H3588 כי for H859 אתה shalt thou H5157 תנחיל divide for an inheritance H853 את H5971 העם people H2088 הזה unto this H853 את H776 הארץ the land, H834 אשׁר which H7650 נשׁבעתי I swore H1 לאבותם unto their fathers H5414 לתת׃ to give

7 H7535 רק Only H2388 חזק be thou strong H553 ואמץ courageous, H3966 מאד and very H8104 לשׁמר that thou mayest observe H6213 לעשׂות to do H3605 ככל according to all H8451 התורה the law, H834 אשׁר which H6680 צוך commanded H4872 משׁה Moses H5650 עבדי my servant H408 אל not H5493 תסור thee: turn H4480 ממנו from H3225 ימין it the right hand H8040 ושׂמאול or the left, H4616 למען that H7919 תשׂכיל thou mayest prosper H3605 בכל whithersoever H834 אשׁר whithersoever H1980 תלך׃ thou goest.

8 H3808 לא shall not H4185 ימושׁ depart H5612 ספר book H8451 התורה of the law H2088 הזה This H6310 מפיך out of thy mouth; H1897 והגית but thou shalt meditate H3119 בו יומם therein day H3915 ולילה and night, H4616 למען that H8104 תשׁמר thou mayest observe H6213 לעשׂות to do H3605 ככל according to all H3789 הכתוב that is written H3588 בו כי therein: for H227 אז then H6743 תצליח thou shalt make H853 את H1870 דרכך thy way H227 ואז and then H7919 תשׂכיל׃ thou shalt have good success.

9 H3808 הלוא Have not H6680 צויתיך I commanded H2388 חזק thee? Be strong H553 ואמץ and of a good courage; H408 אל be not afraid, H6206 תערץ be not afraid, H408 ואל neither H2865 תחת be thou dismayed: H3588 כי for H5973 עמך with H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H3605 בכל thee whithersoever H834 אשׁר thee whithersoever H1980 תלך׃ thou goest.
