H4911 And utter [H8798]   H4912 a parable H4805 unto the rebellious H1004 house H559 , and say [H8804]   H559 unto them, Thus saith [H8804]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H8239 ; Set on [H8798]   H5518 a pot H8239 , set it on [H8798]   H3332 , and also pour [H8798]   H4325 water into it:
H622 Gather [H8798]   H5409 the pieces H2896 thereof into it, even every good H5409 piece H3409 , the thigh H3802 , and the shoulder H4390 ; fill [H8761]   H4005 it with the choice H6106 bones.
H3947 Take [H8800]   H4005 the choice H6629 of the flock H1754 , and burn H6106 also the bones H7570 under it, and make it boil [H8761]   H7571 well H1310 , and let them seethe [H8804]   H6106 the bones H8432 of it therein.
H559 Wherefore thus saith [H8804]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H188 ; Woe H1818 to the bloody H5892 city H5518 , to the pot H2457 whose scum H2457 is therein, and whose scum H3318 is not gone out [H8804]   H3318 of it! bring it out [H8685]   H5409 piece H5409 by piece H1486 ; let no lot H5307 fall [H8804]   upon it.
H1818 For her blood H8432 is in the midst H7760 of her; she set [H8804]   H6706 it upon the top H5553 of a rock H8210 ; she poured [H8804]   H776 it not upon the ground H3680 , to cover [H8763]   H6083 it with dust;
H2534 That it might cause fury H5927 to come up [H8687]   H5358 to take [H8800]   H5359 vengeance H5414 ; I have set [H8804]   H1818 her blood H6706 upon the top H5553 of a rock H3680 , that it should not be covered [H8736]  .
H559 Therefore thus saith [H8804]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD H188 ; Woe H1818 to the bloody H5892 city H4071 ! I will even make the pile H1431 for fire great [H8686]  .
H7235 Heap [H8685]   H6086 on wood H1814 , kindle [H8687]   H784 the fire H8552 , consume [H8687]   H1320 the flesh H7543 , and spice [H8687]   H4841 it well H6106 , and let the bones H2787 be burned [H8735]  .
H5975 Then set [H8687]   H7386 it empty H1513 upon the coals H5178 thereof, that the brass H3179 of it may be hot [H8799]   H2787 , and may burn [H8804]   H2932 , and that the filthiness H5413 of it may be molten [H8738]   H8432 in it H2457 , that the scum H8552 of it may be consumed [H8799]  .
H3811 She hath wearied [H8689]   H8383 herself with lies H7227 , and her great H2457 scum H3318 went not forth [H8799]   H2457 out of her: her scum H784 shall be in the fire.
H2932 In thy filthiness H2154 is lewdness H2891 : because I have purged [H8765]   H2891 thee, and thou wast not purged [H8804]   H2891 , thou shalt not be purged [H8799]   H2932 from thy filthiness H2534 any more, till I have caused my fury H5117 to rest [H8687]   upon thee.
H3068 I the LORD H1696 have spoken [H8765]   H935 it : it shall come to pass [H8802]   H6213 , and I will do [H8804]   H6544 it; I will not go back [H8799]   H2347 , neither will I spare [H8799]   H5162 , neither will I repent [H8735]   H1870 ; according to thy ways H5949 , and according to thy doings H8199 , shall they judge [H8804]   H5002 thee, saith [H8803]   H136 the Lord H3069 GOD.
ERV(i) 3 And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD, Set on the caldron, set it on, and also pour water into it: 4 gather the pieces thereof into it, even every good piece, the thigh, and the shoulder; fill it with the choice bones. 5 Take the choice of the flock, and pile also the bones under it: make it boil well; yea, let the bones thereof be seethed in the midst of it. 6 Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD: Woe to the bloody city, to the caldron whose rust is therein, and whose rust is not gone out of it! bring it out piece by piece; no lot is fallen upon it. 7 For her blood is in the midst of her; she set it upon the bare rock; she poured it not upon the ground, to cover it with dust; 8 That it might cause fury to come up to take vengeance, I have set her blood upon the bare rock, that it should not be covered. 9 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great. 10 Heap on the wood, make the fire hot, boil well the flesh, and make thick the broth, and let the bones be burned. 11 Then set it empty upon the coals thereof, that it may be hot, and the brass thereof may burn, and that the filthiness of it may be molten in it, that the rust of it may be consumed. 12 She hath wearied [herself] with toil: yet her great rust goeth not forth out of her; her rust [goeth not forth] by fire. 13 In thy filthiness is lewdness: because I have purged thee and thou wast not purged, thou shalt not be purged from thy filthiness any more, till I have satisfied my fury upon thee. 14 I the LORD have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord GOD.
