  2 H3068 And the LORD H4376 sold [H8799]   H3027 them into the hand H2985 of Jabin H4428 king H3667 of Canaan H4427 , that reigned [H8804]   H2674 in Hazor H8269 ; the captain H6635 of whose host H5516 was Sisera H3427 , which dwelt [H8802]   H2800 in Harosheth H1471 of the Gentiles.
  3 H1121 And the children H3478 of Israel H6817 cried [H8799]   H3068 unto the LORD H8672 : for he had nine H3967 hundred H7393 chariots H1270 of iron H6242 ; and twenty H8141 years H2394 he mightily H3905 oppressed [H8804]   H1121 the children H3478 of Israel.
  4 H1683 And Deborah H5031 , a prophetess H802 , the wife H3941 of Lapidoth H8199 , she judged [H8802]   H3478 Israel H6256 at that time.
  5 H3427 And she dwelt [H8802]   H8560 under the palm tree H1683 of Deborah H7414 between Ramah H1008 and Bethel H2022 in mount H669 Ephraim H1121 : and the children H3478 of Israel H5927 came up [H8799]   H4941 to her for judgment.
  6 H7971 And she sent [H8799]   H7121 and called [H8799]   H1301 Barak H1121 the son H42 of Abinoam H6943 out of Kedeshnaphtali H559 , and said [H8799]   H3068 unto him, Hath not the LORD H430 God H3478 of Israel H6680 commanded [H8765]   H3212 , saying, Go [H8798]   H4900 and draw [H8804]   H2022 toward mount H8396 Tabor H3947 , and take [H8804]   H6235 with thee ten H505 thousand H376 men H1121 of the children H5321 of Naphtali H1121 and of the children H2074 of Zebulun?
  7 H4900 And I will draw [H8804]   H5158 unto thee to the river H7028 Kishon H5516 Sisera H8269 , the captain H2985 of Jabin's H6635 army H7393 , with his chariots H1995 and his multitude H5414 ; and I will deliver [H8804]   H3027 him into thine hand.
  8 H1301 And Barak H559 said [H8799]   H3212 unto her, If thou wilt go [H8799]   H1980 with me, then I will go [H8804]   H3212 : but if thou wilt not go [H8799]   H3212 with me, then I will not go [H8799]  .
  9 H559 And she said [H8799]   H1980 , I will surely [H8800]   H3212 go [H8799]   H657 with thee: notwithstanding H1870 the journey H1980 that thou takest [H8802]   H8597 shall not be for thine honour H3068 ; for the LORD H4376 shall sell [H8799]   H5516 Sisera H3027 into the hand H802 of a woman H1683 . And Deborah H6965 arose [H8799]   H3212 , and went [H8799]   H1301 with Barak H6943 to Kedesh.
  10 H1301 And Barak H2199 called [H8686]   H2074 Zebulun H5321 and Naphtali H6943 to Kedesh H5927 ; and he went up [H8799]   H6235 with ten H505 thousand H376 men H7272 at his feet H1683 : and Deborah H5927 went up [H8799]   with him.
  11 H2268 Now Heber H7017 the Kenite H1121 , which was of the children H2246 of Hobab H2859 the father in law [H8802]   H4872 of Moses H6504 , had severed [H8737]   H7017 himself from the Kenites H5186 , and pitched [H8799]   H168 his tent H436 unto the plain H6815 of Zaanaim H6943 , which is by Kedesh.
  12 H5046 And they shewed [H8686]   H5516 Sisera H1301 that Barak H1121 the son H42 of Abinoam H5927 was gone up [H8804]   H2022 to mount H8396 Tabor.
  13 H5516 And Sisera H2199 gathered together [H8686]   H7393 all his chariots H8672 , even nine H3967 hundred H7393 chariots H1270 of iron H5971 , and all the people H2800 that were with him, from Harosheth H1471 of the Gentiles H5158 unto the river H7028 of Kishon.
  14 H1683 And Deborah H559 said [H8799]   H1301 unto Barak H6965 , Up [H8798]   H3117 ; for this is the day H3068 in which the LORD H5414 hath delivered [H8804]   H5516 Sisera H3027 into thine hand H3068 : is not the LORD H3318 gone out [H8804]   H6440 before H1301 thee? So Barak H3381 went down [H8799]   H2022 from mount H8396 Tabor H6235 , and ten H505 thousand H376 men H310 after him.
  15 H3068 And the LORD H2000 discomfited [H8799]   H5516 Sisera H7393 , and all his chariots H4264 , and all his host H6310 , with the edge H2719 of the sword H6440 before H1301 Barak H5516 ; so that Sisera H3381 lighted down [H8799]   H4818 off his chariot H5127 , and fled away [H8799]   H7272 on his feet.
  16 H1301 But Barak H7291 pursued [H8804]   H310 after H7393 the chariots H4264 , and after the host H2800 , unto Harosheth H1471 of the Gentiles H4264 : and all the host H5516 of Sisera H5307 fell [H8799]   H6310 upon the edge H2719 of the sword H259 ; and there was not a man H7604 left [H8738]  .
  17 H5516 Howbeit Sisera H5127 fled away [H8804]   H7272 on his feet H168 to the tent H3278 of Jael H802 the wife H2268 of Heber H7017 the Kenite H7965 : for there was peace H2985 between Jabin H4428 the king H2674 of Hazor H1004 and the house H2268 of Heber H7017 the Kenite.
  18 H3278 And Jael H3318 went out [H8799]   H7125 to meet [H8800]   H5516 Sisera H559 , and said [H8799]   H5493 unto him, Turn in [H8798]   H113 , my lord H5493 , turn in [H8798]   H3372 to me; fear [H8799]   H5493 not. And when he had turned in [H8799]   H168 unto her into the tent H3680 , she covered [H8762]   H8063 him with a mantle.
  19 H559 And he said [H8799]   H4592 unto her, Give me, I pray thee, a little H4325 water H8248 to drink [H8685]   H6770 ; for I am thirsty [H8804]   H6605 . And she opened [H8799]   H4997 a bottle H2461 of milk H8248 , and gave him drink [H8686]   H3680 , and covered [H8762]   him.
  20 H559 Again he said [H8799]   H5975 unto her, Stand in [H8798]   H6607 the door H168 of the tent H376 , and it shall be, when any man H935 doth come [H8799]   H7592 and enquire [H8804]   H559 of thee, and say [H8804]   H3426 , Is there H376 any man H3426 here H559 ? that thou shalt say [H8804]  , No.
  21 H3278 Then Jael H2268 Heber's H802 wife H3947 took [H8799]   H3489 a nail H168 of the tent H7760 , and took [H8799]   H4718 an hammer H3027 in her hand H935 , and went [H8799]   H3814 softly H8628 unto him, and smote [H8799]   H3489 the nail H7541 into his temples H6795 , and fastened [H8799]   H776 it into the ground H7290 : for he was fast asleep [H8738]   H5774 and weary [H8799]   H4191 . So he died [H8799]  .
  22 H1301 And, behold, as Barak H7291 pursued [H8802]   H5516 Sisera H3278 , Jael H3318 came out [H8799]   H7125 to meet [H8800]   H559 him, and said [H8799]   H3212 unto him, Come [H8798]   H7200 , and I will shew [H8686]   H376 thee the man H1245 whom thou seekest [H8764]   H935 . And when he came [H8799]   H5516 into her tent, behold, Sisera H5307 lay [H8802]   H4191 dead [H8801]   H3489 , and the nail H7541 was in his temples.
  23 H430 So God H3665 subdued [H8686]   H3117 on that day H2985 Jabin H4428 the king H3667 of Canaan H6440 before H1121 the children H3478 of Israel.
  24 H3027 And the hand H1121 of the children H3478 of Israel H3212 prospered [H8799]   H1980   [H8800]   H7186 , and prevailed H2985 against Jabin H4428 the king H3667 of Canaan H3772 , until they had destroyed [H8689]   H2985 Jabin H4428 king H3667 of Canaan.

  3 H6817 ויצעקו cried H1121 בני And the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD: H3588 כי for H8672 תשׁע he had nine H3967 מאות hundred H7393 רכב chariots H1270 ברזל of iron; H1931 לו והוא he H3905 לחץ oppressed H853 את   H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel. H2394 בחזקה   H6242 עשׂרים and twenty H8141 שׁנה׃ years
  4 H1683 ודבורה And Deborah, H802 אשׁה a prophetess, H5031 נביאה a prophetess, H802 אשׁת the wife H3941 לפידות of Lapidoth, H1931 היא she H8199 שׁפטה judged H853 את   H3478 ישׂראל Israel H6256 בעת time. H1931 ההיא׃ at that
  5 H1931 והיא And she H3427 יושׁבת dwelt H8478 תחת under H8560 תמר the palm tree H1683 דבורה of Deborah H996 בין between H7414 הרמה Ramah H996 ובין   H1008 בית אל and Bethel H2022 בהר in mount H669 אפרים Ephraim: H5927 ויעלו came up H413 אליה to H1121 בני and the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H4941 למשׁפט׃ her for judgment.
  6 H7971 ותשׁלח And she sent H7121 ותקרא and called H1301 לברק Barak H1121 בן the son H42 אבינעם of Abinoam H6943 מקדשׁ   H5321 נפתלי of Naphtali H559 ותאמר and said H413 אליו unto H3808 הלא him, Hath not H6680 צוה commanded, H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H1980 לך Go H4900 ומשׁכת and draw H2022 בהר toward mount H8396 תבור Tabor, H3947 ולקחת and take H5973 עמך with H6235 עשׂרת thee ten H505 אלפים thousand H376 אישׁ men H1121 מבני of the children H5321 נפתלי   H1121 ומבני and of the children H2074 זבלון׃ of Zebulun?
  7 H4900 ומשׁכתי And I will draw H413 אליך unto H413 אל thee to H5158 נחל the river H7028 קישׁון Kishon H853 את   H5516 סיסרא Sisera, H8269 שׂר the captain H6635 צבא army, H2985 יבין of Jabin's H853 ואת   H7393 רכבו with his chariots H853 ואת   H1995 המונו and his multitude; H5414 ונתתיהו and I will deliver H3027 בידך׃ him into thine hand.
  8 H559 ויאמר said H413 אליה unto H1301 ברק And Barak H518 אם her, If H1980 תלכי thou wilt go H5973 עמי with H1980 והלכתי me, then I will go: H518 ואם but if H3808 לא thou wilt not H1980 תלכי go H5973 עמי with H3808 לא me, I will not H1980 אלך׃ go.
  9 H559 ותאמר And she said, H1980 הלך takest H1980 אלך and went H5973 עמך with H657 אפס   H3588 כי for H3808 לא thee: notwithstanding H1961 תהיה be H8597 תפארתך for thine honor; H5921 על   H1870 הדרך the journey H834 אשׁר that H859 אתה thou H1980 הולך   H3588 כי   H3027 ביד into the hand H802 אשׁה of a woman.   10 H2199 ויזעק called H1301 ברק And Barak H853 את   H2074 זבולן Zebulun H853 ואת   H5321 נפתלי and Naphtali H6943 קדשׁה to Kedesh; H5927 ויעל and he went up H7272 ברגליו at his feet: H6235 עשׂרת with ten H505 אלפי thousand H376 אישׁ men H5927 ותעל went up H5973 עמו with H1683 דבורה׃ and Deborah
  11 H2268 וחבר Now Heber H7017 הקיני   H6504 נפרד had severed himself H7017 מקין   H1121 מבני of the children H2246 חבב of Hobab H2859 חתן the father-in-law H4872 משׁה of Moses, H5186 ויט and pitched H168 אהלו his tent H5704 עד unto H436 אלון the plain H6815 בצענים of Zaanaim, H834 אשׁר which H854 את by H6943 קדשׁ׃ Kedesh.
  12 H5046 ויגדו And they showed H5516 לסיסרא Sisera H3588 כי that H5927 עלה was gone up H1301 ברק Barak H1121 בן the son H42 אבינעם of Abinoam H2022 הר to mount H8396 תבור׃ Tabor.
  13 H2199 ויזעק gathered together H5516 סיסרא And Sisera H853 את   H3605 כל all H7393 רכבו his chariots, H8672 תשׁע nine H3967 מאות hundred H7393 רכב chariots H1270 ברזל of iron, H853 ואת   H3605 כל and all H5971 העם the people H834 אשׁר that H854 אתו with H2800 מחרשׁת   H1471 הגוים   H413 אל unto H5158 נחל the river H7028 קישׁון׃ of Kishon.
  14 H559 ותאמר said H1683 דברה And Deborah H413 אל unto H1301 ברק Barak, H6965 קום Up; H3588 כי for H2088 זה this H3117 היום the day H834 אשׁר in which H5414 נתן hath delivered H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 את   H5516 סיסרא Sisera H3027 בידך into thine hand: H3808 הלא is not H3068 יהוה the LORD H3318 יצא gone out H6440 לפניך before H3381 וירד went down H1301 ברק thee? So Barak H2022 מהר from mount H8396 תבור Tabor, H6235 ועשׂרת and ten H505 אלפים thousand H376 אישׁ men H310 אחריו׃ after
  15 H2000 ויהם discomfited H3068 יהוה And the LORD H853 את   H5516 סיסרא Sisera, H853 ואת   H3605 כל and all H7393 הרכב chariots, H853 ואת   H3605 כל and all H4264 המחנה host, H6310 לפי with the edge H2719 חרב of the sword H6440 לפני before H1301 ברק Barak; H3381 וירד lighted down H5516 סיסרא so that Sisera H5921 מעל off H4818 המרכבה chariot, H5127 וינס and fled away H7272 ברגליו׃ on his feet.
  16 H1301 וברק But Barak H7291 רדף pursued H310 אחרי after H7393 הרכב the chariots, H310 ואחרי and after H4264 המחנה the host, H5704 עד unto H2800 חרשׁת Harosheth of the Gentiles: H1471 הגוים   H5307 ויפל fell H3605 כל and all H4264 מחנה the host H5516 סיסרא of Sisera H6310 לפי upon the edge H2719 חרב of the sword; H3808 לא there was not H7604 נשׁאר left. H5704 עד   H259 אחד׃ a man
  17 H5516 וסיסרא Howbeit Sisera H5127 נס fled away H7272 ברגליו on his feet H413 אל to H168 אהל the tent H3278 יעל of Jael H802 אשׁת the wife H2268 חבר of Heber H7017 הקיני the Kenite: H3588 כי for H7965 שׁלום peace H996 בין between H2985 יבין Jabin H4428 מלך the king H2674 חצור of Hazor H996 ובין   H1004 בית and the house H2268 חבר of Heber H7017 הקיני׃ the Kenite.
  18 H3318 ותצא went out H3278 יעל And Jael H7125 לקראת to meet H5516 סיסרא Sisera, H559 ותאמר and said H413 אליו unto H5493 סורה him, Turn in, H113 אדני my lord, H5493 סורה turn in H413 אלי to H408 אל not. H3372 תירא me; fear H5493 ויסר And when he had turned in H413 אליה unto H168 האהלה her into the tent, H3680 ותכסהו she covered H8063 בשׂמיכה׃ him with a mantle.
  19 H559 ויאמר And he said H413 אליה unto H8248 השׁקיני to drink; H4994 נא her, Give me, I pray thee, H4592 מעט a little H4325 מים water H3588 כי for H6770 צמאתי I am thirsty. H6605 ותפתח And she opened H853 את   H4997 נאוד a bottle H2461 החלב of milk, H8248 ותשׁקהו and gave him drink, H3680 ותכסהו׃ and covered
  20 H559 ויאמר Again he said H413 אליה unto H5975 עמד her, Stand H6607 פתח in the door H168 האהל of the tent, H1961 והיה and it shall be, H518 אם when H376 אישׁ any man H935 יבוא doth come H7592 ושׁאלך and inquire H559 ואמר of thee, and say, H3426 הישׁ Is H6311 פה here? H376 אישׁ there any man H559 ואמרת that thou shalt say, H369 אין׃ No.
  21 H3947 ותקח took H3278 יעל Then Jael H802 אשׁת wife H2268 חבר Heber's H853 את   H3489 יתד a nail H168 האהל of the tent, H7760 ותשׂם and took H853 את   H4718 המקבת a hammer H3027 בידה in her hand, H935 ותבוא and went H413 אליו unto H3909 בלאט   H8628 ותתקע him, and smote H853 את   H3489 היתד the nail H7541 ברקתו   H6795 ותצנח and fastened H776 בארץ it into the ground: H1931 והוא for he H7290 נרדם was fast asleep H5774 ויעף and weary. H4191 וימת׃ So he died.
  22 H2009 והנה And, behold, H1301 ברק as Barak H7291 רדף pursued H853 את   H5516 סיסרא Sisera, H3318 ותצא came out H3278 יעל Jael H7125 לקראתו to meet H559 ותאמר him, and said H1980 לו לך unto him, Come, H7200 ואראך and I will show H853 את   H376 האישׁ thee the man H834 אשׁר whom H859 אתה thou H1245 מבקשׁ seekest. H935 ויבא And when he came H413 אליה into H2009 והנה her behold, H5516 סיסרא Sisera H5307 נפל lay H4191 מת dead, H3489 והיתד and the nail H7541 ברקתו׃  
  23 H3665 ויכנע subdued H430 אלהים So God H3117 ביום day H1931 ההוא on that H853 את   H2985 יבין Jabin H4428 מלך the king H3667 כנען of Canaan H6440 לפני before H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.
  24 H1980 ותלך prospered, H3027 יד And the hand H1121 בני of the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H1980 הלוך and prevailed H7186 וקשׁה and prevailed H5921 על against H2985 יבין Jabin H4428 מלך the king H3667 כנען of Canaan, H5704 עד until H834 אשׁר until H3772 הכריתו they had destroyed H853 את   H2985 יבין Jabin H4428 מלך king H3667 כנען׃ of Canaan.
