Parduok man jį už deramą kainą, kad nelaimė liautųsi tautoje”. ²³ Ornanas atsakė Dovydui: “Mano valdove karaliau, imk ir daryk, kaip tau atrodo tinkama. Jaučius deginamosioms aukoms, kūlimo įrankius malkoms ir kviečius valgomajai aukaivisa tau duodu”. ²⁴ Karalius Dovydas atsakė Ornanui: “Ne, aš noriu pirkti už deramą kainą. Aš negaliu imti Viešpačiui, kas tau priklauso, ir aukoti deginamąją auką, kuri man nieko nekainuoja”.

Vreau să -l cumpăr pe preţul lui în argint, căci nu voi da Domnului ce este al tău, şi nu voi aduce o ardere de tot care să nu mă coste nimic.``

Ukrainian⁽ⁱ⁾ ²² І сказав Давид до Орнана: Дай же мені місце цього току, й я збудую на ньому жертівника для Господа. Дай мені його за срібло повної ваги, і буде стримана моровиця від народу. ²³ І сказав Орнан до Давида: Візьми собі, і нехай зробить мій пан цар, що добре в очах його. Дивися, я даю цю худобу на цілопалення, а молотарки на дрова, а пшеницю на хлібну жертву. Усе я даю! ²⁴ І сказав цар Давид до Орнана: Ні, бо купуючи, куплю за срібло повної ваги, бо не піднесу твого в жертві для Господа, і не спалю цілопалення дармо!
