Zechariah 12:1-14 The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, who stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.

1 H4853 The burden H1697 of the word H3068 of the LORD H3478 for Israel, H5002 [H8803] saith H3068 the LORD, H5186 [H8802] who stretcheth H8064 forth the heavens, H3245 [H8801] and layeth the foundation H776 of the earth, H3335 [H8802] and formeth H7307 the spirit H120 of man H7130 within him.

2 H7760 [H8802] Behold, I will make H3389 Jerusalem H5592 a cup H7478 of trembling H5439 to all the surrounding H5971 people, H4692 when they shall be in the siege H3063 both against Judah H3389 and against Jerusalem.

3 H3117 And in that day H7760 [H8799] will I make H3389 Jerusalem H4614 a burdensome H68 stone H5971 for all people: H6006 [H8802] all that load H8295 H8295 [H8800] themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, H1471 though all the nations H776 of the earth H622 [H8738] be gathered against it.

4 H3117 In that day, H5002 [H8803] saith H3068 the LORD, H5221 [H8686] I will smite H5483 every horse H8541 with astonishment, H7392 [H8802] and his rider H7697 with madness: H6491 [H8799] and I will open H5869 my eyes H1004 upon the house H3063 of Judah, H5221 [H8686] and will smite H5483 every horse H5971 of the people H5788 with blindness.

5 H441 And the governors H3063 of Judah H559 [H8804] shall say H3820 in their heart, H3427 [H8802] The inhabitants H3389 of Jerusalem H556 shall be my strength H3068 in the LORD H6635 of hosts H430 their God.

6 H3117 In that day H7760 [H8799] will I make H441 the governors H3063 of Judah H3595 like an hearth H784 of fire H6086 among the wood, H3940 and like a torch H784 of fire H5995 in a sheaf; H398 [H8804] and they shall devour H5439 all the surrounding H5971 people, H3225 on the right hand H8040 and on the left: H3389 and Jerusalem H3427 [H8804] shall be inhabited H3389 again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.

7 H3068 The LORD H3467 [H8689] also shall liberate H168 the tents H3063 of Judah H7223 first, H8597 that the glory H1004 of the house H1732 of David H8597 and the glory H3427 [H8802] of the inhabitants H3389 of Jerusalem H1431 [H8799] may not magnify H3063 themselves against Judah.

8 H3117 In that day H3068 shall the LORD H1598 [H8686] defend H3427 [H8802] the inhabitants H3389 of Jerusalem; H3782 [H8737] and he that is feeble H3117 among them at that day H1732 shall be as David; H1004 and the house H1732 of David H430 shall be as God, H4397 as the messenger H3068 of the LORD H6440 at the face of them.

9 H3117 And it shall come to pass in that day, H1245 [H8762] that I will seek H8045 [H8687] to desolate H1471 all the nations H935 [H8802] that come H3389 against Jerusalem.

10 H8210 [H8804] And I will pour H1004 upon the house H1732 of David, H3427 [H8802] and upon the inhabitants H3389 of Jerusalem, H7307 the spirit H2580 of grace H8469 and of supplications: H5027 [H8689] and they shall look H1856 [H8804] upon me whom they have pierced, H4553 and they shall mourn H5594 [H8804] for him, as one mourneth H3173 for his only H4843 [H8687] son, and shall be in bitterness H4843 [H8687] for him, as one that is in bitterness H1060 for his firstborn.

11 H3117 In that day H1431 [H8799] shall there be a great H4553 mourning H3389 in Jerusalem, H4553 as the mourning H1910 of Hadadrimmon H1237 in the valley H4023 of Megiddon.

12 H776 And the land H5594 [H8804] shall mourn, H4940 every H4940 family H905 apart; H4940 the family H1004 of the house H1732 of David H802 apart, and their wives H4940 apart; the family H1004 of the house H5416 of Nathan H802 apart, and their wives apart;

13 H4940 The family H1004 of the house H3878 of Levi H802 apart, and their wives H4940 apart; the family H8097 of Shimei H802 apart, and their wives apart;

14 H4940 All the families H7604 [H8737] that remain, H4940 every family H802 apart, and their wives apart.
