Ezekiel 29 בשׁנה year, העשׂירית In the tenth בעשׂרי in the tenth בשׁנים in the twelfth עשׂר , in the twelfth לחדשׁ of the month, היה came דבר the word יהוה of the LORD אלי unto לאמר׃ me, saying,

1 H8141 בשׁנה year, H6224 העשׂירית In the tenth H6224 בעשׂרי in the tenth H8147 בשׁנים in the twelfth H6240 עשׂר , in the twelfth H2320 לחדשׁ of the month, H1961 היה came H1697 דבר the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H413 אלי unto H559 לאמר׃ me, saying,

2 H1121 בן Son H120 אדם of man, H7760 שׂים set H6440 פניך thy face H5921 על against H6547 פרעה Pharaoh H4428 מלך king H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H5012 והנבא and prophesy H5921 עליו against H5921 ועל him, and against H4714 מצרים Egypt: H3605 כלה׃ all

3 H1696 דבר Speak, H559 ואמרת and say, H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H136 אדני the Lord H3069 יהוה GOD; H2005 הנני H5921 עליך I against H6547 פרעה thee, Pharaoh H4428 מלך king H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H8577 התנים dragon H1419 הגדול the great H7257 הרבץ that lieth H8432 בתוך in the midst H2975 יאריו of his rivers, H834 אשׁר which H559 אמר hath said, H2975 לי יארי My river H589 ואני mine own, and I H6213 עשׂיתני׃ have made

4 H5414 ונתתי But I will put H2397 חחיים hooks H3895 בלחייך in thy jaws, H1692 והדבקתי to stick H1710 דגת and I will cause the fish H2975 יאריך of thy rivers H7193 בקשׂקשׂתיך unto thy scales, H5927 והעליתיך and I will bring thee up H8432 מתוך out of the midst H2975 יאריך of thy rivers, H853 ואת H3605 כל and all H1710 דגת the fish H2975 יאריך of thy rivers H7193 בקשׂקשׂתיך unto thy scales. H1692 תדבק׃ shall stick

5 H5203 ונטשׁתיך And I will leave H4057 המדברה thee into the wilderness, H853 אותך H853 ואת H3605 כל thee and all H1710 דגת the fish H2975 יאריך of thy rivers: H5921 על upon H6440 פני the open H7704 השׂדה fields; H5307 תפול thou shalt fall H3808 לא thou shalt not H622 תאסף be brought together, H3808 ולא nor H6908 תקבץ gathered: H2416 לחית to the beasts H776 הארץ of the field H5775 ולעוף and to the fowls H8064 השׁמים of the heaven. H5414 נתתיך I have given H402 לאכלה׃ thee for meat

6 H3045 וידעו shall know H3605 כל And all H3427 ישׁבי the inhabitants H4714 מצרים of Egypt H3588 כי that H589 אני I H3068 יהוה the LORD, H3282 יען because H1961 היותם they have been H4938 משׁענת a staff H7070 קנה of reed H1004 לבית to the house H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

7 H8610 בתפשׂם When they took hold H3709 בך בכפך of thee by thy hand, H7533 תרוץ thou didst break, H1234 ובקעת and rend H3605 להם כל all H3802 כתף their shoulder: H8172 ובהשׁענם and when they leaned H5921 עליך upon H7665 תשׁבר thee, thou didst broke, H5976 והעמדת to be at a stand. H3605 להם כל and madest all H4975 מתנים׃ their loins

8 H3651 לכן Therefore H3541 כה thus H559 אמר saith H136 אדני the Lord H3069 יהוה GOD; H2005 הנני H935 מביא I will bring H5921 עליך upon H2719 חרב a sword H3772 והכרתי thee, and cut off H4480 ממך out of H120 אדם man H929 ובהמה׃ and beast

9 H1961 והיתה shall be H776 ארץ And the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt H8077 לשׁממה desolate H2723 וחרבה and waste; H3045 וידעו and they shall know H3588 כי that H589 אני I H3068 יהוה the LORD: H3282 יען because H559 אמר he hath said, H2975 יאר The river H589 לי ואני mine, and I H6213 עשׂיתי׃ have made

10 H3651 לכן therefore H2005 הנני H413 אליך I against H413 ואל thee, and against H2975 יאריך thy rivers, H5414 ונתתי and I will make H853 את H776 ארץ the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt H2723 לחרבות utterly waste H2721 חרב utterly waste H8077 שׁממה desolate, H4024 ממגדל from the tower H5482 סונה of Syene H5704 ועד even unto H1366 גבול the border H3568 כושׁ׃ of Ethiopia.

11 H3808 לא No H5674 תעבר shall pass H7272 בה רגל foot H120 אדם of man H7272 ורגל foot H929 בהמה of beast H3808 לא through it, nor H5674 תעבר shall pass H3808 בה ולא through it, neither H3427 תשׁב shall it be inhabited H705 ארבעים forty H8141 שׁנה׃ years.

12 H5414 ונתתי And I will make H853 את H776 ארץ the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt H8077 שׁממה desolate H8432 בתוך in the midst H776 ארצות of the countries H8074 נשׁמות desolate, H5892 ועריה and her cities H8432 בתוך among H5892 ערים the cities H2717 מחרבות laid waste H1961 תהיין shall be H8077 שׁממה desolate H705 ארבעים forty H8141 שׁנה years: H6327 והפצתי and I will scatter H853 את H4714 מצרים the Egyptians H1471 בגוים among the nations, H2219 וזריתים and will disperse H776 בארצות׃ them through the countries.

13 H3588 כי Yet H3541 כה thus H559 אמר saith H136 אדני the Lord H3069 יהוה GOD; H7093 מקץ H705 ארבעים of forty H8141 שׁנה years H6908 אקבץ will I gather H853 את H4714 מצרים the Egyptians H4480 מן from H5971 העמים the people H834 אשׁר whither H6327 נפצו they were scattered: H8033 שׁמה׃ whither

14 H7725 ושׁבתי And I will bring again H853 את H7622 שׁבות the captivity H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H7725 והשׁבתי and will cause them to return H853 אתם H776 ארץ the land H6624 פתרוס of Pathros, H5921 על into H776 ארץ the land H4351 מכורתם of their habitation; H1961 והיו and they shall be H8033 שׁם there H4467 ממלכה kingdom. H8217 שׁפלה׃ a base

15 H4480 מן of H4467 הממלכות the kingdoms; H1961 תהיה It shall be H8217 שׁפלה the basest H3808 ולא neither H5375 תתנשׂא shall it exalt itself H5750 עוד any more H5921 על above H1471 הגוים the nations: H4591 והמעטתים for I will diminish H1115 לבלתי them, that they shall no more H7287 רדות rule H1471 בגוים׃ over the nations.

16 H3808 ולא no H1961 יהיה And it shall be H5750 עוד more H1004 לבית of the house H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H4009 למבטח the confidence H2142 מזכיר which bringeth iniquity to remembrance, H5771 עון which bringeth iniquity to remembrance, H6437 בפנותם when they shall look H310 אחריהם after H3045 וידעו them: but they shall know H3588 כי that H589 אני I H136 אדני the Lord H3068 יהוה׃

17 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H6242 בעשׂרים and twentieth H7651 ושׁבע in the seven H8141 שׁנה year, H7223 בראשׁון in the first H259 באחד in the first H2320 לחדשׁ of the month, H1961 היה came H1697 דבר the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H413 אלי unto H559 לאמר׃ me, saying,

18 H1121 בן Son H120 אדם of man, H5019 נבוכדראצר Nebuchadnezzar H4428 מלך king H894 בבל of Babylon H5647 העביד to serve H853 את H2428 חילו caused his army H5656 עבדה service H1419 גדלה a great H413 אל against H6865 צר Tyrus: H3605 כל every H7218 ראשׁ head H7139 מקרח made bald, H3605 וכל and every H3802 כתף shoulder H4803 מרוטה peeled: H7939 ושׂכר wages, H3808 לא he no H1961 היה yet had H2428 לו ולחילו nor his army, H6865 מצר H5921 על for H5656 העבדה the service H834 אשׁר that H5647 עבד he had served H5921 עליה׃ against

19 H3651 לכן Therefore H3541 כה thus H559 אמר saith H136 אדני the Lord H3069 יהוה GOD; H2005 הנני H5414 נתן I will give H5019 לנבוכדראצר unto Nebuchadnezzar H4428 מלך king H894 בבל of Babylon; H853 את H776 ארץ the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt H5375 ונשׂא and he shall take H1995 המנה her multitude, H7997 ושׁלל and take H7998 שׁללה her spoil, H962 ובזז and take H957 בזה her prey; H1961 והיתה and it shall be H7939 שׂכר the wages H2426 לחילו׃

20 H6468 פעלתו his labor H834 אשׁר wherewith H5647 עבד he served H5414 בה נתתי I have given H853 לו את H776 ארץ him the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt H834 אשׁר against it, because H6213 עשׂו they wrought H5002 לי נאם for me, saith H136 אדני the Lord H3069 יהוה׃ GOD.

21 H3117 ביום day H1931 ההוא In that H6779 אצמיח to bud forth, H7161 קרן will I cause the horn H1004 לבית of the house H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H5414 ולך אתן and I will give H6610 פתחון thee the opening H6310 פה of the mouth H8432 בתוכם in the midst H3045 וידעו of them; and they shall know H3588 כי that H589 אני I H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.
