Joshua 4:3-9 וצוו And command אותם לאמר ye them, saying, שׂאו Take לכם מזה you hence מתוך out of the midst הירדן of Jordan, ממצב out of the place רגלי feet הכהנים where the priests' הכין stood firm, שׁתים twelve עשׂרה twelve אבנים stones, והעברתם אותם עמכם with והנחתם אותם במלון them in the lodging place, אשׁר where תלינו ye shall lodge בו הלילה׃ this night.

3 H6680 וצוו And command H853 אותם H559 לאמר ye them, saying, H5375 שׂאו Take H2088 לכם מזה you hence H8432 מתוך out of the midst H3383 הירדן of Jordan, H4673 ממצב out of the place H7272 רגלי feet H3548 הכהנים where the priests' H3559 הכין stood firm, H8147 שׁתים twelve H6240 עשׂרה twelve H68 אבנים stones, H5674 והעברתם H853 אותם H5973 עמכם with H3240 והנחתם H853 אותם H4411 במלון them in the lodging place, H834 אשׁר where H3885 תלינו ye shall lodge H3915 בו הלילה׃ this night.

4 H7121 ויקרא called H3091 יהושׁע Then Joshua H413 אל called H8147 שׁנים the twelve H6240 העשׂר the twelve H376 אישׁ men, H834 אשׁר whom H3559 הכין he had prepared H1121 מבני of the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H376 אישׁ out of every tribe a man: H259 אחד H376 אישׁ H259 אחד H7626 משׁבט׃

5 H559 ויאמר said H3091 להם יהושׁע And Joshua H5674 עברו unto them, Pass over H6440 לפני before H727 ארון the ark H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God H413 אל into H8432 תוך the midst H3383 הירדן of Jordan, H7311 והרימו and take ye up H376 לכם אישׁ every man H68 אבן stone H259 אחת of you a H5921 על upon H7926 שׁכמו his shoulder, H4557 למספר according unto the number H7626 שׁבטי of the tribes H1121 בני of the children H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel:

6 H4616 למען That H1961 תהיה may be H2063 זאת this H226 אות a sign H7130 בקרבכם among H3588 כי you, when H7592 ישׁאלון ask H1121 בניכם your children H4279 מחר in time to come, H559 לאמר saying, H4100 מה What H68 האבנים stones? H428 האלה׃ ye by these

7 H559 ואמרתם Then ye shall answer H834 להם אשׁר them, That H3772 נכרתו were cut off H4325 מימי the waters H3383 הירדן of Jordan H6440 מפני before H727 ארון the ark H1285 ברית of the covenant H3068 יהוה of the LORD; H5674 בעברו when it passed over H3383 בירדן Jordan, H3772 נכרתו were cut off: H4325 מי the waters H3383 הירדן of Jordan H1961 והיו shall be H68 האבנים stones H428 האלה and these H2146 לזכרון for a memorial H1121 לבני unto the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H5704 עד forever. H5769 עולם׃ forever.

8 H6213 ויעשׂו did H3651 כן so H1121 בני And the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H834 כאשׁר as H6680 צוה commanded, H3091 יהושׁע Joshua H5375 וישׂאו and took up H8147 שׁתי twelve H6240 עשׂרה twelve H68 אבנים stones H8432 מתוך out of the midst H3383 הירדן of Jordan, H834 כאשׁר as H1696 דבר spoke H3068 יהוה the LORD H413 אל unto H3091 יהושׁע Joshua, H4557 למספר according to the number H7626 שׁבטי of the tribes H1121 בני of the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H5674 ויעברום and carried them over H5973 עמם with H413 אל them unto H4411 המלון the place where they lodged, H3240 וינחום H8033 שׁם׃ there.

9 H8147 ושׁתים twelve H6240 עשׂרה twelve H68 אבנים stones H6965 הקים set up H3091 יהושׁע And Joshua H8432 בתוך in the midst H3383 הירדן of Jordan, H8478 תחת in the place H4673 מצב stood: H7272 רגלי where the feet H3548 הכהנים of the priests H5375 נשׂאי which bore H727 ארון the ark H1285 הברית of the covenant H1961 ויהיו and they are H8033 שׁם there H5704 עד unto H3117 היום day.
