Psalms 37

  1 H1732 לדוד of David. H408 אל neither H2734 תתחר   H7489 במרעים because of evildoers, H408 אל   H7065 תקנא be thou envious H6213 בעשׂי against the workers H5766 עולה׃ of iniquity.
  2 H3588 כי For H2682 כחציר like the grass, H4120 מהרה they shall soon H5243 ימלו be cut down H3418 וכירק as the green H1877 דשׁא herb. H5034 יבולון׃ and wither
  3 H982 בטח Trust H3068 ביהוה in the LORD, H6213 ועשׂה and do H2896 טוב good; H7931 שׁכן shalt thou dwell H776 ארץ in the land, H7462 ורעה thou shalt be fed. H530 אמונה׃ and verily
  4 H6026 והתענג Delight thyself H5921 על also in H3068 יהוה the LORD; H5414 ויתן and he shall give H4862 לך משׁאלת thee the desires H3820 לבך׃ of thine heart.
  5 H1556 גול Commit H5921 על unto H3068 יהוה the LORD; H1870 דרכך thy way H982 ובטח trust H5921 עליו also in H1931 והוא him; and he H6213 יעשׂה׃ shall bring to pass.
  6 H3318 והוציא And he shall bring forth H216 כאור as the light, H6664 צדקך thy righteousness H4941 ומשׁפטך and thy judgment H6672 כצהרים׃ as the noonday.
  7 H1826 דום Rest H3068 ליהוה in the LORD, H2342 והתחולל and wait patiently H408 לו אל for him: fret not thyself H2734 תתחר for him: fret not thyself H6743 במצליח because of him who prospereth H1870 דרכו in his way, H376 באישׁ because of the man H6213 עשׂה who bringeth wicked devices to pass. H4209 מזמות׃ who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
  8 H7503 הרף Cease H639 מאף from anger, H5800 ועזב and forsake H2534 חמה wrath: H408 אל fret not thyself H2734 תתחר fret not thyself H389 אך in any wise H7489 להרע׃ to do evil.
  9 H3588 כי For H7489 מרעים evildoers H3772 יכרתון shall be cut off: H6960 וקוי but those that wait upon H3068 יהוה the LORD, H1992 המה they H3423 יירשׁו shall inherit H776 ארץ׃ the earth.
  10 H5750 ועוד For yet H4592 מעט a little H369 ואין not H7563 רשׁע while, and the wicked H995 והתבוננת yea, thou shalt diligently consider H5921 על : yea, thou shalt diligently consider H4725 מקומו his place, H369 ואיננו׃ and it not
  11 H6035 וענוים But the meek H3423 יירשׁו shall inherit H776 ארץ the earth; H6026 והתענגו and shall delight themselves H5921 על in H7230 רב the abundance H7965 שׁלום׃ of peace.
  12 H2161 זמם plotteth H7563 רשׁע The wicked H6662 לצדיק against the just, H2786 וחרק and gnasheth H5921 עליו upon H8127 שׁניו׃ him with his teeth.
  13 H136 אדני The Lord H7832 ישׂחק shall laugh H3588 לו כי at him: for H7200 ראה he seeth H3588 כי that H935 יבא is coming. H3117 יומו׃ his day
  14 H2719 חרב the sword, H6605 פתחו have drawn out H7563 רשׁעים The wicked H1869 ודרכו and have bent H7198 קשׁתם their bow, H5307 להפיל to cast down H6041 עני the poor H34 ואביון and needy, H2873 לטבוח to slay H3477 ישׁרי such as be of upright H1870 דרך׃ conversation.
  15 H2719 חרבם Their sword H935 תבוא shall enter H3820 בלבם into their own heart, H7198 וקשׁתותם and their bows H7665 תשׁברנה׃ shall be broken.
  16 H2896 טוב man hath better H4592 מעט A little H6662 לצדיק that a righteous H1995 מהמון than the riches H7563 רשׁעים wicked. H7227 רבים׃ of many
  17 H3588 כי For H2220 זרועות the arms H7563 רשׁעים of the wicked H7665 תשׁברנה shall be broken: H5564 וסומך upholdeth H6662 צדיקים the righteous. H3068 יהוה׃ but the LORD
  18 H3045 יודע knoweth H3068 יהוה The LORD H3117 ימי the days H8549 תמימם of the upright: H5159 ונחלתם and their inheritance H5769 לעולם forever. H1961 תהיה׃ shall be
  19 H3808 לא They shall not H954 יבשׁו be ashamed H6256 בעת time: H7451 רעה in the evil H3117 ובימי and in the days H7459 רעבון of famine H7646 ישׂבעו׃ they shall be satisfied.
  20 H3588 כי But H7563 רשׁעים the wicked H6 יאבדו shall perish, H341 ואיבי and the enemies H3068 יהוה of the LORD H3368 כיקר as the fat H3733 כרים of lambs: H3615 כלו they shall consume; H6227 בעשׁן into smoke H3615 כלו׃ shall they consume away.
  21 H3867 לוה borroweth, H7563 רשׁע The wicked H3808 ולא not H7999 ישׁלם and payeth H6662 וצדיק again: but the righteous H2603 חונן showeth mercy, H5414 ונותן׃ and giveth.
  22 H3588 כי For H1288 מברכיו blessed H3423 יירשׁו of him shall inherit H776 ארץ the earth; H7043 ומקלליו and cursed H3772 יכרתו׃ of him shall be cut off.
  23 H3068 מיהוה   H4703 מצעדי The steps H1397 גבר of a man H3559 כוננו are ordered H1870 ודרכו in his way. H2654 יחפץ׃ and he delighteth
  24 H3588 כי Though H5307 יפל he fall, H3808 לא he shall not H2904 יוטל be utterly cast down: H3588 כי for H3068 יהוה the LORD H5564 סומך upholdeth H3027 ידו׃ his hand.
  25 H5288 נער young, H1961 הייתי I have been H1571 גם and H2204 זקנתי am old; H3808 ולא yet have I not H7200 ראיתי seen H6662 צדיק the righteous H5800 נעזב forsaken, H2233 וזרעו nor his seed H1245 מבקשׁ begging H3899 לחם׃ bread.
  26 H3605 כל   H3117 היום   H2603 חונן merciful, H3867 ומלוה and lendeth; H2233 וזרעו and his seed H1293 לברכה׃ blessed.
  27 H5493 סור Depart H7451 מרע evil, H6213 ועשׂה and do H2896 טוב good; H7931 ושׁכן and dwell H5769 לעולם׃ forevermore.
  28 H3588 כי For H3068 יהוה the LORD H157 אהב loveth H4941 משׁפט judgment, H3808 ולא not H5800 יעזב and forsaketh H853 את   H2623 חסידיו his saints; H5769 לעולם forever: H8104 נשׁמרו they are preserved H2233 וזרע but the seed H7563 רשׁעים of the wicked H3772 נכרת׃ shall be cut off.
  29 H6662 צדיקים The righteous H3423 יירשׁו shall inherit H776 ארץ the land, H7931 וישׁכנו and dwell H5703 לעד forever. H5921 עליה׃ therein
  30 H6310 פי The mouth H6662 צדיק of the righteous H1897 יהגה speaketh H2451 חכמה wisdom, H3956 ולשׁונו and his tongue H1696 תדבר talketh H4941 משׁפט׃ of judgment.
  31 H8451 תורת The law H430 אלהיו of his God H3820 בלבו in his heart; H3808 לא none H4571 תמעד shall slide. H838 אשׁריו׃ of his steps
  32 H6822 צופה watcheth H7563 רשׁע The wicked H6662 לצדיק the righteous, H1245 ומבקשׁ and seeketh H4191 להמיתו׃ to slay
  33 H3068 יהוה The LORD H3808 לא will not H5800 יעזבנו leave H3027 בידו him in his hand, H3808 ולא nor H7561 ירשׁיענו condemn H8199 בהשׁפטו׃ him when he is judged.
  34 H6960 קוה Wait H413 אל on H3068 יהוה the LORD, H8104 ושׁמר and keep H1870 דרכו his way, H7311 וירוממך and he shall exalt H3423 לרשׁת thee to inherit H776 ארץ the land: H3772 בהכרת are cut off, H7563 רשׁעים when the wicked H7200 תראה׃ thou shalt see
  35 H7200 ראיתי I have seen H7563 רשׁע the wicked H6184 עריץ in great power, H6168 ומתערה and spreading himself H249 כאזרח bay tree. H7488 רענן׃ like a green
  36 H5674 ויעבר Yet he passed away, H2009 והנה and, lo, H369 איננו he not: H1245 ואבקשׁהו yea, I sought H3808 ולא him, but he could not H4672 נמצא׃ be found.
  37 H8104 שׁמר Mark H8535 תם the perfect H7200 וראה and behold H3477 ישׁר the upright: H3588 כי for H319 אחרית the end H376 לאישׁ of man H7965 שׁלום׃ peace.
  38 H6586 ופשׁעים But the transgressors H8045 נשׁמדו shall be destroyed H3162 יחדו together: H319 אחרית the end H7563 רשׁעים of the wicked H3772 נכרתה׃ shall be cut off.
  39 H8668 ותשׁועת But the salvation H6662 צדיקים of the righteous H3068 מיהוה   H4581 מעוזם their strength H6256 בעת in the time H6869 צרה׃ of trouble.
  40 H5826 ויעזרם shall help H3068 יהוה And the LORD H6403 ויפלטם them, and deliver H6403 יפלטם them: he shall deliver H7563 מרשׁעים them from the wicked, H3467 ויושׁיעם and save H3588 כי them, because H2620 חסו׃ they trust
