Numbers 14:13-45

  13 H4872 And Moses H559 said [H8799]   H3068 unto the LORD H4714 , Then the Egyptians H8085 shall hear [H8804]   H5927 it, (for thou broughtest up [H8689]   H5971 this people H3581 in thy might H7130 from among them;)
  14 H559 And they will tell [H8804]   H3427 it to the inhabitants [H8802]   H776 of this land H8085 : for they have heard [H8804]   H3068 that thou LORD H7130 art among H5971 this people H3068 , that thou LORD H7200 art seen [H8738]   H5869 face H5869 to face H6051 , and that thy cloud H5975 standeth [H8802]   H1980 over them, and that thou goest [H8802]   H6440 before H3119 them, by day time H5982 in a pillar H6051 of a cloud H5982 , and in a pillar H784 of fire H3915 by night.
  15 H4191 Now if thou shalt kill [H8689]   H5971 all this people H259 as one H376 man H1471 , then the nations H8085 which have heard [H8804]   H8088 the fame H559 of thee will speak [H8804]   H559 , saying [H8800]  ,
  16 H3068 Because the LORD H1115 was not H3201 able [H8800]   H935 to bring [H8687]   H5971 this people H776 into the land H7650 which he sware [H8738]   H7819 unto them, therefore he hath slain [H8799]   H4057 them in the wilderness.
  17 H3581 And now, I beseech thee, let the power H136 of my Lord H1431 be great [H8799]   H834 , according H1696 as thou hast spoken [H8765]   H559 , saying [H8800]  ,
  18 H3068 The LORD H750 is longsuffering H639   H7227 , and of great H2617 mercy H5375 , forgiving [H8802]   H5771 iniquity H6588 and transgression H5352 , and by no means [H8763]   H5352 clearing [H8762]   H6485 the guilty, visiting [H8802]   H5771 the iniquity H1 of the fathers H1121 upon the children H8029 unto the third H7256 and fourth generation .
  19 H5545 Pardon [H8798]   H5771 , I beseech thee, the iniquity H5971 of this people H1433 according unto the greatness H2617 of thy mercy H5375 , and as thou hast forgiven [H8804]   H5971 this people H4714 , from Egypt H2008 even until now.
  20 H3068 And the LORD H559 said [H8799]   H5545 , I have pardoned [H8804]   H1697 according to thy word:
  21 H199 But as truly H2416 as I live H776 , all the earth H4390 shall be filled [H8735]   H3519 with the glory H3068 of the LORD.
  22 H582 Because all those men H7200 which have seen [H8802]   H3519 my glory H226 , and my miracles H6213 , which I did [H8804]   H4714 in Egypt H4057 and in the wilderness H5254 , and have tempted [H8762]   H853   H6235 me now these ten H6471 times H8085 , and have not hearkened [H8804]   H6963 to my voice;
  23 H518 Surely they shall not H7200 see [H8799]   H776 the land H7650 which I sware [H8738]   H1 unto their fathers H5006 , neither shall any of them that provoked [H8764]   H7200 me see [H8799]   it:
  24 H5650 But my servant H3612 Caleb H6118 , because H312 he had another H7307 spirit H310 with him, and hath followed H4390 me fully [H8762]   H935 , him will I bring [H8689]   H776 into the land H935 whereinto he went [H8804]   H2233 ; and his seed H3423 shall possess [H8686]   it.
  25 H6003 (Now the Amalekites H3669 and the Canaanites H3427 dwelt [H8802]   H6010 in the valley H4279 .) To morrow H6437 turn [H8798]   H5265 you, and get [H8798]   H4057 you into the wilderness H1870 by the way H5488 of the Red H3220 sea.
  26 H3068 And the LORD H1696 spake [H8762]   H4872 unto Moses H175 and unto Aaron H559 , saying [H8800]  ,
  27 H7451 How long shall I bear with this evil H5712 congregation H3885 , which murmur [H8688]   H8085 against me? I have heard [H8804]   H8519 the murmurings H1121 of the children H3478 of Israel H3885 , which they murmur [H8688]   against me.
  28 H559 Say [H8798]   H3808 unto them, As truly as H2416 I live H5002 , saith [H8803]   H3068 the LORD H1696 , as ye have spoken [H8765]   H241 in mine ears H6213 , so will I do [H8799]   to you:
  29 H6297 Your carcases H5307 shall fall [H8799]   H4057 in this wilderness H6485 ; and all that were numbered [H8803]   H4557 of you, according to your whole number H6242 , from twenty H8141 years H1121 old H4605 and upward H3885 , which have murmured [H8689]   against me,
  30 H518 Doubtless ye shall not H935 come [H8799]   H776 into the land H3027 , concerning which I sware H5375   [H8804]   H7931 to make you dwell [H8763]   H3612 therein, save Caleb H1121 the son H3312 of Jephunneh H3091 , and Joshua H1121 the son H5126 of Nun.
  31 H2945 But your little ones H559 , which ye said [H8804]   H957 should be a prey H935 , them will I bring in [H8689]   H3045 , and they shall know [H8804]   H776 the land H3988 which ye have despised [H8804]  .
  32 H6297 But as for you, your carcases H5307 , they shall fall [H8799]   H4057 in this wilderness.
  33 H1121 And your children H7462 shall wander [H8802]   H4057 in the wilderness H705 forty H8141 years H5375 , and bear [H8804]   H2184 your whoredoms H6297 , until your carcases H8552 be wasted [H8800]   H4057 in the wilderness.
  34 H4557 After the number H3117 of the days H8446 in which ye searched [H8804]   H776 the land H705 , even forty H3117 days H3117 , each day H8141 for a year H3117   H8141   H5375 , shall ye bear [H8799]   H5771 your iniquities H705 , even forty H8141 years H3045 , and ye shall know [H8804]   H8569 my breach of promise.
  35 H3068 I the LORD H1696 have said [H8765]   H518 , I will surely H3808   H6213 do [H8799]   H2063 it H7451 unto all this evil H5712 congregation H3259 , that are gathered together [H8737]   H4057 against me: in this wilderness H8552 they shall be consumed [H8735]   H4191 , and there they shall die [H8799]  .
  36 H582 And the men H4872 , which Moses H7971 sent [H8804]   H8446 to search [H8800]   H776 the land H7725 , who returned [H8799]   H5712 , and made all the congregation H3885 to murmur [H8686]   [H8675]   H3885   [H8735]   H3318 against him, by bringing up [H8687]   H1681 a slander H776 upon the land,
  37 H582 Even those H582 men H3318 that did bring up [H8688]   H7451 the evil H1681 report H776 upon the land H4191 , died [H8799]   H4046 by the plague H6440 before H3068 the LORD.
  38 H3091 But Joshua H1121 the son H5126 of Nun H3612 , and Caleb H1121 the son H3312 of Jephunneh H1992 , which were of the men H582   H1980 that went [H8802]   H8446 to search [H8800]   H776 the land H2421 , lived [H8804]   still .
  39 H4872 And Moses H1696 told [H8762]   H1697 these sayings H1121 unto all the children H3478 of Israel H5971 : and the people H56 mourned [H8691]   H3966 greatly.
  40 H7925 And they rose up early [H8686]   H1242 in the morning H5927 , and gat them up [H8799]   H7218 into the top H2022 of the mountain H559 , saying [H8800]   H2009 , Lo H5927 , we be here, and will go up [H8804]   H4725 unto the place H3068 which the LORD H559 hath promised [H8804]   H2398 : for we have sinned [H8804]  .
  41 H4872 And Moses H559 said [H8799]   H5674 , Wherefore now do ye transgress [H8802]   H6310 the commandment H3068 of the LORD H6743 ? but it shall not prosper [H8799]  .
  42 H5927 Go not up [H8799]   H3068 , for the LORD H7130 is not among H5062 you; that ye be not smitten [H8735]   H6440 before H341 your enemies [H8802]  .
  43 H6003 For the Amalekites H3669 and the Canaanites H6440 are there before H5307 you, and ye shall fall [H8804]   H2719 by the sword H7725 : because ye are turned [H8804]   H310 away H3068 from the LORD H3068 , therefore the LORD will not be with you.
  44 H6075 But they presumed [H8686]   H5927 to go up [H8800]   H2022 unto the hill H7218 top H727 : nevertheless the ark H1285 of the covenant H3068 of the LORD H4872 , and Moses H4185 , departed [H8804]   H7130 not out H4264 of the camp.
  45 H6003 Then the Amalekites H3381 came down [H8799]   H3669 , and the Canaanites H3427 which dwelt [H8802]   H2022 in that hill H5221 , and smote [H8686]   H3807 them, and discomfited [H8686]   H2767 them, even unto Hormah.
