2 Kings 24:1-25:7 In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up , and Jehoiakim became his servant three years : then he turned and rebelled against him.

7 H4428 And the king H4714 of Egypt H3318 [H8800] came H3254 [H8689] not again H776 any more out of his land H4428 : for the king H894 of Babylon H3947 [H8804] had taken H5158 from the river H4714 of Egypt H5104 to the river H6578 Euphrates H4428 all that pertained to the king H4714 of Egypt.

8 H3078 Jehoiachin H8083 H6240 was eighteen H8141 years H1121 old H4427 [H8800] when he began to reign H4427 [H8804] , and he reigned H3389 in Jerusalem H7969 three H2320 months H517 . And his mother's H8034 name H5179 was Nehushta H1323 , the daughter H494 of Elnathan H3389 of Jerusalem.

9 H6213 [H8799] And he did H7451 that which was evil H5869 in the sight H3068 of the LORD H1 , according to all that his father H6213 [H8804] had done.

10 H6256 At that time H5650 the servants H5019 of Nebuchadnezzar H4428 king H894 of Babylon H5927 [H8804] came up H3389 against Jerusalem H5892 , and the city H935 H4692 [H8799] was besieged.

11 H5019 And Nebuchadnezzar H4428 king H894 of Babylon H935 [H8799] came H5892 against the city H5650 , and his servants H6696 [H8802] besieged it.

12 H3078 And Jehoiachin H4428 the king H3063 of Judah H3318 [H8799] went out H4428 to the king H894 of Babylon H517 , he, and his mother H5650 , and his servants H8269 , and his princes H5631 , and his officers H4428 : and the king H894 of Babylon H3947 [H8799] took H8083 him in the eighth H8141 year H4427 [H8800] of his reign.

15 H1540 [H8686] And he carried away H3078 Jehoiachin H894 to Babylon H4428 , and the king's H517 mother H4428 , and the king's H802 wives H5631 , and his officers H352 H193 [H8675] , and the mighty H776 of the land H3212 [H8689] , those carried H1473 he into captivity H3389 from Jerusalem H894 to Babylon.

16 H582 And all the men H2428 of might H7651 , even seven H505 thousand H2796 , and craftsmen H4525 and smiths H505 a thousand H1368 , all that were strong H6213 [H8802] and apt H4421 for war H4428 , even them the king H894 of Babylon H935 [H8686] brought H1473 captive H894 to Babylon.

17 H4428 And the king H894 of Babylon H4983 made Mattaniah H1730 his father's brother H4427 [H8686] king H5437 [H8686] in his stead, and changed H8034 his name H6667 to Zedekiah.

18 H6667 Zedekiah H6242 was twenty H259 and one H8141 years H1121 old H4427 [H8800] when he began to reign H4427 [H8804] , and he reigned H259 H6240 eleven H8141 years H3389 in Jerusalem H517 . And his mother's H8034 name H2537 was Hamutal H1323 , the daughter H3414 of Jeremiah H3841 of Libnah.

19 H6213 [H8799] And he did H7451 that which was evil H5869 in the sight H3068 of the LORD H3079 , according to all that Jehoiakim H6213 [H8804] had done.

20 H639 For through the anger H3068 of the LORD H3389 it came to pass in Jerusalem H3063 and Judah H7993 [H8689] , until he had cast them out H6440 from his presence H6667 , that Zedekiah H4775 [H8799] rebelled H4428 against the king H894 of Babylon.

1 H8671 And it came to pass in the ninth H8141 year H4427 [H8800] of his reign H6224 , in the tenth H2320 month H6218 , in the tenth H2320 day of the month H5019 , that Nebuchadnezzar H4428 king H894 of Babylon H935 [H8804] came H2428 , he, and all his army H3389 , against Jerusalem H2583 [H8799] , and encamped H1129 [H8799] against it; and they built H1785 forts H5439 against it on all sides.

2 H5892 And the city H935 H4692 [H8799] was besieged H6249 H6240 to the eleventh H8141 year H4428 of king H6667 Zedekiah.

6 H8610 [H8799] So they took H4428 the king H5927 [H8686] , and brought him H4428 to the king H894 of Babylon H7247 to Riblah H1696 [H8762] ; and they pronounced H4941 sentence upon him.

7 H7819 [H8804] And they slew H1121 the sons H6667 of Zedekiah H5869 before his eyes H5786 [H8765] , and put out H5869 the eyes H6667 of Zedekiah H631 [H8799] , and bound H5178 him with fetters H5178 of brass H935 [H8686] , and carried H894 him to Babylon.
