Exodus 4 And Moses answered and said , But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken to my voice : for they will say , The LORD hath not appeared to thee.

4 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said H4872 to Moses H7971 [H8798] , Put forth H3027 thy hand H270 [H8798] , and take H2180 it by the tail H7971 [H8799] . And he put forth H3027 his hand H2388 [H8686] , and caught H4294 it, and it became a rod H3709 in his hand:

5 H539 [H8686] That they may believe H3068 that the LORD H430 God H1 of their fathers H430 , the God H85 of Abraham H430 , the God H3327 of Isaac H430 , and the God H3290 of Jacob H7200 [H8738] , hath appeared to thee.

6 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said H5750 furthermore H935 [H8685] to him, Put H3027 now thy hand H2436 into thy bosom H935 [H8686] . And he put H3027 his hand H2436 into his bosom H3318 [H8686] : and when he took H3027 it out, behold, his hand H6879 [H8794] was leprous H7950 as snow.

7 H559 [H8799] And he said H7725 0 , Put H3027 thy hand H2436 into thy bosom H7725 [H8685] again H7725 0 . And he put H3027 his hand H2436 into his bosom H7725 [H8686] again H3318 [H8686] ; and drew H2436 it out of his bosom H7725 [H8804] , and, behold, it was turned again H1320 as his other flesh.

8 H539 [H8686] And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe H8085 [H8799] thee, neither hearken H6963 to the voice H7223 of the first H226 sign H539 [H8689] , that they will believe H6963 the voice H314 of the latter H226 sign.

9 H539 [H8686] And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe H8147 also these two H226 signs H8085 [H8799] , neither hearken H6963 to thy voice H3947 [H8804] , that thou shalt take H4325 of the water H2975 of the river H8210 [H8804] , and pour H3004 it upon the dry H4325 land: and the water H3947 [H8799] which thou takest H2975 out of the river H1818 shall become blood H3006 upon the dry land.

10 H4872 And Moses H559 [H8799] said H3068 to the LORD H994 , O H136 my Lord H376 , I H1697 am not eloquent H8032 H8543 , neither before H227 , nor since H1696 [H8763] thou hast spoken H5650 to thy servant H3515 : but I am slow H6310 of speech H3515 , and of a slow H3956 tongue.

11 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said H7760 [H8804] to him, Who hath made H120 man's H6310 mouth H7760 [H8799] ? or who maketh H483 the dumb H2795 , or deaf H6493 , or the seeing H5787 , or the blind H3068 ? have not I the LORD?

12 H3212 [H8798] Now therefore go H6310 , and I will be with thy mouth H3384 [H8689] , and teach H1696 [H8762] thee what thou shalt say.

13 H559 [H8799] And he said H994 , O H136 my Lord H7971 [H8798] , send H3027 , I pray thee, by the hand H7971 [H8799] of him whom thou wilt send.

14 H639 And the anger H3068 of the LORD H2734 [H8799] was kindled H4872 against Moses H559 [H8799] , and he said H175 , Is not Aaron H3881 the Levite H251 thy brother H3045 [H8804] ? I know H1696 [H8762] that he can speak H1696 [H8763] well H3318 [H8802] . And also, behold, he cometh forth H7125 [H8800] to meet H7200 [H8804] thee: and when he seeth H8055 [H8804] thee, he will be glad H3820 in his heart.

15 H1696 [H8765] And thou shalt speak H7760 [H8804] to him, and put H1697 words H6310 in his mouth H6310 : and I will be with thy mouth H6310 , and with his mouth H3384 [H8689] , and will teach H6213 [H8799] you what ye shall do.

16 H1696 [H8765] And he shall speak for thee H5971 to the people H6310 : and he shall be, even he shall be to thee instead of a mouth H430 , and thou shalt be to him instead of God.

17 H3947 [H8799] And thou shalt take H4294 this rod H3027 in thy hand H6213 [H8799] , with which thou shalt perform H226 signs.

18 H4872 And Moses H3212 [H8799] went H7725 [H8799] and returned H3500 to Jethro H2859 [H8802] his father in law H559 [H8799] , and said H3212 [H8799] to him, Let me go H7725 [H8799] , I pray thee, and return H251 to my brethren H4714 who are in Egypt H7200 [H8799] , and see H5750 whether they are yet H2416 alive H3503 . And Jethro H559 [H8799] said H4872 to Moses H3212 [H8798] , Go H7965 in peace.

19 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said H4872 to Moses H4080 in Midian H3212 [H8798] , Go H7725 [H8798] , return H4714 into Egypt H582 : for all the men H4191 [H8804] are dead H1245 [H8764] who sought H5315 thy life.

20 H4872 And Moses H3947 [H8799] took H802 his wife H1121 and his sons H7392 [H8686] , and set H2543 them upon a donkey H7725 [H8799] , and he returned H776 to the land H4714 of Egypt H4872 : and Moses H3947 [H8799] took H4294 the rod H430 of God H3027 in his hand.

21 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said H4872 to Moses H3212 [H8800] , When thou goest H7725 [H8800] to return H4714 into Egypt H7200 [H8798] , see H6213 [H8804] that thou perform H4159 all those wonders H6440 before H6547 Pharaoh H7760 [H8804] , which I have put H3027 in thy hand H2388 [H8762] : but I will harden H3820 his heart H5971 , that he shall not let the people H7971 [H8762] go.

22 H559 [H8804] And thou shalt say H6547 to Pharaoh H559 [H8804] , Thus saith H3068 the LORD H3478 , Israel H1121 is my son H1060 , even my firstborn:

23 H559 [H8799] And I say H1121 to thee, Let my son H7971 [H8761] go H5647 [H8799] , that he may serve H3985 [H8762] me: and if thou shalt refuse H7971 [H8763] to let him go H2026 [H8802] , behold, I will slay H1121 thy son H1060 , even thy firstborn.

24 H1870 And it came to pass by the way H4411 in the inn H3068 , that the LORD H6298 [H8799] met H1245 [H8762] him, and sought H4191 [H8687] to kill him.

25 H6855 Then Zipporah H3947 [H8799] took H6864 a sharp stone H3772 [H8799] , and cut off H6190 the foreskin H1121 of her son H5060 [H8686] , and cast H7272 it at his feet H559 [H8799] , and said H1818 , Surely a bloody H2860 husband art thou to me.

26 H7503 [H8799] So he let him go H559 [H8804] : then she said H1818 , A bloody H2860 husband H4139 thou art, because of the circumcision.

27 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said H175 to Aaron H3212 [H8798] , Go H4057 into the wilderness H7125 [H8800] to meet H4872 Moses H3212 [H8799] . And he went H6298 [H8799] , and met H2022 him in the mount H430 of God H5401 [H8799] , and kissed him.

28 H4872 And Moses H5046 [H8686] told H175 Aaron H1697 all the words H3068 of the LORD H7971 [H8804] who had sent H226 him, and all the signs H6680 [H8765] which he had commanded him.

29 H4872 And Moses H175 and Aaron H3212 [H8799] went H622 [H8799] and gathered together H2205 all the elders H1121 of the children H3478 of Israel:

30 H175 And Aaron H1696 [H8762] spoke H1697 all the words H3068 which the LORD H1696 [H8765] had spoken H4872 to Moses H6213 [H8799] , and performed H226 the signs H5869 in the sight H5971 of the people.

31 H5971 And the people H539 [H8686] believed H8085 [H8799] : and when they heard H3068 that the LORD H6485 [H8804] had visited H1121 the children H3478 of Israel H7200 [H8804] , and that he had looked H6040 upon their affliction H6915 [H8799] , then they bowed their heads H7812 [H8691] and worshipped.
