But all the people shalbe in the courtes of the house of the LORDE, 6 and that no man go in to the house of the LORDE, excepte the prestes and Leuites that mynister there, they shal go in: for they are halowed. And let all ye people wayte vpon the LORDE. 7 And the Leuites shal get them rounde aboute ye kynge, euery one with his weapen in his hande. And who so els goeth in to ye house, let him dye. 8 What Jehoiada the priest ordered is precisely what the descendants of Levi and all of Judah did. Each of them took the men who were on duty on the Sabbath as well as those who were off duty. Jehoiada the priest did not release the divisions from service, 9 and Jehoiada the priest issued the spears and shields that King David had placed in storage in God’s Temple to the officers in charge of the units of hundreds. 10 He set the rest of the people to serve as guards for the king, and each one brandished weapons in his hand, from the south side of the Temple to the north side of the Temple, around the altar, and surrounding the palace.

Ukrainian(i) 4 Оце та річ, яку зробите: третина з вас, що приходите в суботу, із священиків та з Левитів, будете за придверних біля порогів. 5 А третина при царському домі, а третина при брамі Єсод, а ввесь народ у подвір'ях Господнього дому. 6 І нехай не входить до Господнього йому ніхто, окрім священиків та тих, хто прислуговує із Левитів, вони ввійдуть, бо освячені вони, а ввесь народ буде пильнувати Господньої сторожі. 7 І оточать Левити царя навколо, кожен із своєю зброєю в руці своїй; а хто чужий увійшов би до дому, нехай буде забитий! І будете ви з царем при вході його та при виході його. 8 І зробили Левити та ввесь Юда все, що наказав священик Єгояда. І взяли кожен людей своїх, що приходять у суботу та відходять у суботу, бо священик Єгояда не звільнив черг. 9 І дав священик Єгояда сотникам ратища, і малі щити, і інші щити, що належали цареві Давидові, що були в Божому домі. 10 І поставив він увесь народ, а кожен мав свою зброю в руці своїй, від правого боку дому аж до лівого боку дому, при жертівнику та при домі, навколо біля царя.
