NSB(i) 8 The king was upset the next morning. So he called his magicians and wise men and told them what he had dreamed. None of them could tell him what the dreams meant. 9 The king’s chief cupbearer said: »Now I remember what I was supposed to do. 10 »When you were angry with your chief cook and me, you threw us both in jail in the house of the captain of the guard. 11 »One night we both had dreams. Each dream had a different meaning. 12 »A young Hebrew, who was a servant of the captain of the guard, was there with us at the time. When we told him our dreams, he explained what each of them meant. 13 »Everything happened just as he said it would. I got my job back, and the cook was put to death.« 14 So the king sent for Joseph. He was quickly brought out of jail. He shaved, changed his clothes, and went to the king. 15 The king said: »I had a dream. No one can explain what it means. I am told that you can interpret dreams.«
ISV(i) 8 Pharaoh Seeks an InterpretationThe very next morning, he was frustrated about the dream, so he sent word to summon all the magicians and wise men of Egypt. Pharaoh told them what he had dreamed, but no one could interpret them.
9 Then Pharaoh’s senior security advisor spoke up. “Maybe I should make a confession. 10 When Pharaoh was angry with some of his servants, he incarcerated me in custody of the captain of the bodyguard, along with Pharaoh’s head chef. 11 We each had a dream on the same night, and each dream had its own meaning. 12 There was a Hebrew young man incarcerated with us, who was also working as a servant to the captain of the bodyguard.
“We each related our dreams, and then he interpreted them for us. He provided specific meanings for each of our dreams. 13 And what he interpreted for each of us came true! Pharaoh restored me to my responsibilities, but he executed the other man.”
14 Pharaoh Tells Joseph His DreamPharoah sent word to summon Joseph quickly from the dungeon, so they shaved his beard, changed his clothes, and then sent him straight to Pharaoh. 15 “I’ve had a dream,” Pharaoh told Joseph, “but nobody can interpret it. I’ve heard that you can interpret dreams.”
LEB(i) 8 And it happened that in the morning his spirit was troubled, and he sent and called all of the magicians* of Egypt, and all its wise men, and Pharaoh told his dream to them. But they had no interpretation* for Pharaoh. 9 Then the chief of the cupbearers spoke with Pharaoh, saying, "I remember my sins today. 10 Pharaoh was angry with his servants, and he put me and the chief baker in the custody of the house of the chief of the guard. 11 And we dreamed a dream one night, I and he, each with a dream that had a meaning.* 12 And there with us was a young man, a Hebrew servant of the chief of the guard, and we told him the dream, and he interpreted our dreams for us, each according to his dream he interpreted. 13 And it happened just as he interpreted to us, so it was. He* restored me to my office, and him* he* hanged." 14 Then Pharaoh sent and called for Joseph, and they brought him quickly from the prison. And he shaved and changed his clothing, and came to Pharaoh. 15 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, "I dreamed a dream, but there is none to interpret it. Now, I have heard concerning you that when you hear a dream you can interpret it."
BSB(i) 8 In the morning his spirit was troubled, so he summoned all the magicians and wise men of Egypt. We told him our dreams and he interpreted them for us individually. 13 And it happened to us just as he had interpreted: I was restored to my position, and the other man was hanged.” 14 So Pharaoh sent for Joseph, who was quickly brought out of the dungeon. After he had shaved and changed his clothes, he went in before Pharaoh. 15 Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I had a dream, and no one can interpret it. But I have heard it said of you that when you hear a dream you can interpret it.”

  14 H6547 Pharaon H7971 fit appeler H8799   H7121   H8799   H3130 Joseph H7323 . On le fit sortir en hâte H8686   H953 de prison H1548 .

Croatian(i) 8 Ujutro faraon bijaše uznemiren u duši, pa pozva sve čarobnjake i sve mudrace egipatske: ispriča im faraon svoje sne, ali mu ih nitko nije mogao protumačiti. 9 Onda progovori faraonov glavni peharnik: "Moram danas spomenuti jedan svoj propust. Ispričasmo njemu svoje sne, a on nam ih protumači: kaza svakom značenje njegova sna.
11 Měli jsme pak sen jedné noci, on i já, jeden každý podlé vyložení snu svého.

Lithuanian(i) 8 Tą rytą faraonas buvo neramus.
15 I rzekł Farao do Józefa: Śnił mi się sen, a nie mam, kto by mi go wyłożył; alem ja o tobie słyszał, gdy mówiono, że gdy usłyszysz sen, umiesz go wyłożyć.
