Deuteronomy 7 When Jehovah thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and shall cast out many nations before thee, the Hittite, and the Girgashite, and the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;

1 H3068 When Jehovah H430 thy God H935 shall bring H776 thee into the land H935 whither thou goest H3423 to possess H5394 it, and shall cast out H7227 many H1471 nations H6440 before H2850 thee, the Hittite, H1622 and the Girgashite, H567 and the Amorite, H3669 and the Canaanite, H6522 and the Perizzite, H2340 and the Hivite, H2983 and the Jebusite, H7651 seven H1471 nations H7227 greater H6099 and mightier than thou;

2 H3068 and when Jehovah H430 thy God H5414 shall deliver H6440 them up before H5221 thee, and thou shalt smite H2763 them; then thou shalt utterly H2763 destroy H3772 them: thou shalt make H1285 no covenant H2603 with them, nor show mercy unto them;

3 H2859 neither shalt thou make marriages H1323 with them; thy daughter H5414 thou shalt not give H1121 unto his son, H1323 nor his daughter H3947 shalt thou take H1121 unto thy son.

4 H5493 For he will turn away H1121 thy son H310 from following H5647 me, that they may serve H312 other H430 gods: H639 so will the anger H3068 of Jehovah H2734 be kindled H8045 against you, and he will destroy H4118 thee quickly.

5 H6213 But thus shall ye deal H7665 with them: ye shall break down H4196 their altars, H7665 and dash H4676 in pieces their pillars, H1438 and hew down H842 their Asherim, H8313 and burn H6456 their graven images H784 with fire.

6 H6918 For thou art a holy H5971 people H3068 unto Jehovah H430 thy God: H3068 Jehovah H430 thy God H977 hath chosen H5971 thee to be a people H5459 for his own possession, H5971 above all peoples H6440 that are upon the face H127 of the earth.

7 H3068 Jehovah H2836 did not set his love H977 upon you, nor choose H7230 you, because ye were more H5971 in number than any people; H4592 for ye were the fewest H5971 of all peoples:

8 H3068 but because Jehovah H8104 loveth you, and because he would keep H7621 the oath H7650 which he sware H1 unto your fathers, H3068 hath Jehovah H3318 brought you out H2389 with a mighty H3027 hand, H6299 and redeemed H3318 you out H1004 of the house H5650 of bondage, H3027 from the hand H6547 of Pharaoh H4428 king H4714 of Egypt.

9 H3045 Know H3068 therefore that Jehovah H430 thy God, H430 he is God, H539 the faithful H430 God, H8104 who keepeth H1285 covenant H2617 and lovingkindness H157 with them that love H8104 him and keep H4687 his commandments H505 to a thousand H1755 generations,

10 H7999 and repayeth H8130 them that hate H6440 him to their face, H6 to destroy H309 them: he will not be slack H8130 to him that hateth H7999 him, he will repay H6440 him to his face.

11 H8104 Thou shalt therefore keep H4687 the commandment, H2706 and the statutes, H4941 and the ordinances, H6680 which I command H3117 thee this day, H6213 to do them.

12 H6118 And it shall come to pass, because H8085 ye hearken H4941 to these ordinances, H8104 and keep H6213 and do H3068 them, that Jehovah H430 thy God H8104 will keep H1285 with thee the covenant H2617 and the lovingkindness H7650 which he sware H1 unto thy fathers:

13 H157 and he will love H1288 thee, and bless H7235 thee, and multiply H1288 thee; he will also bless H6529 the fruit H990 of thy body H6529 and the fruit H127 of thy ground, H1715 thy grain H8492 and thy new wine H3323 and thine oil, H7698 the increase H504 of thy cattle H6251 and the young H6629 of thy flock, H127 in the land H7650 which he sware H1 unto thy fathers H5414 to give thee.

14 H1288 Thou shalt be blessed H5971 above all peoples: H6135 there shall not be male H6135 or female barren H929 among you, or among your cattle.

15 H3068 And Jehovah H5493 will take away H2483 from thee all sickness; H7451 and none of the evil H4064 diseases H4714 of Egypt, H3045 which thou knowest, H7760 will he put H5414 upon thee, but will lay H8130 them upon all them that hate thee.

16 H398 And thou shalt consume H5971 all the peoples H3068 that Jehovah H430 thy God H5414 shall deliver H5869 unto thee; thine eye H2347 shall not pity H5647 them: neither shalt thou serve H430 their gods; H4170 for that will be a snare unto thee.

17 H559 If thou shalt say H3824 in thy heart, H1471 These nations H7227 are more H349 than I; how H3201 can H3423 I dispossess them?

18 H3372 thou shalt not be afraid H2142 of them: thou shalt well H2142 remember H3068 what Jehovah H430 thy God H6213 did H6547 unto Pharaoh, H4714 and unto all Egypt;

19 H1419 the great H4531 trials H5869 which thine eyes H7200 saw, H226 and the signs, H4159 and the wonders, H2389 and the mighty H3027 hand, H5186 and the outstretched H2220 arm, H3068 whereby Jehovah H430 thy God H3318 brought thee out: H3068 so shall Jehovah H430 thy God H6213 do H5971 unto all the peoples H3373 of whom thou art afraid.

20 H3068 Moreover Jehovah H430 thy God H7971 will send H6880 the hornet H7604 among them, until they that are left, H5641 and hide H6 themselves, perish H6440 from before thee.

21 H6206 Thou shalt not be affrighted H6440 at H3068 them; for Jehovah H430 thy God H7130 is in the midst H1419 of thee, a great H410 God H3372 and a terrible.

22 H3068 And Jehovah H430 thy God H5394 will cast out H411 those H1471 nations H6440 before H4592 thee by little H4592 and little: H3201 thou mayest H3615 not consume H4118 them at once, H2416 lest the beasts H7704 of the field H7235 increase upon thee.

23 H3068 But Jehovah H430 thy God H5414 will deliver H6440 them up before thee, H1949 and will discomfit H1419 them with a great H4103 discomfiture, H8045 until they be destroyed.

24 H5414 And he will deliver H4428 their kings H3027 into thy hand, H8034 and thou shalt make their name H6 to perish H8064 from under heaven: H376 there shall no man H3320 be able to stand H6440 before H8045 thee, until thou have destroyed them.

25 H6456 The graven images H430 of their gods H8313 shall ye burn H784 with fire: H2530 thou shalt not covet H3701 the silver H2091 or the gold H3947 that is on them, nor take H3369 it unto thee, lest thou be snared H8441 therein; for it is an abomination H3068 to Jehovah H430 thy God.

26 H935 And thou shalt not bring H8441 an abomination H1004 into thy house, H2764 and become a devoted thing H8262 like unto it: thou shalt utterly H8262 detest H8581 it, and thou shalt utterly H8581 abhor H2764 it; for it is a devoted thing.
