Genesis 43

ASV_Strongs(i)
H7458 And the famine H3515 was sore H776 in the land.
H3615 And it came to pass, when they had eaten up H7668 the grain H935 which they had brought out H4714 of Egypt, H1 their father H559 said H7725 unto them, Go again, H7666 buy H4592 us a little H400 food.
H3063 And Judah H559 spake H559 unto him, saying, H376 The man H5749 did solemnly H5749 protest H559 unto us, saying, H7200 Ye shall not see H6440 my face, H1115 except H251 your brother be with you.
H3426 If thou wilt H7971 send H251 our brother H3381 with us, we will go down H7666 and buy H400 thee food:
H7971 but if thou wilt not send H3381 him, we will not go down; H376 for the man H559 said H7200 unto us, Ye shall not see H6440 my face, H251 except your brother be with you.
H3478 And Israel H559 said, H7489 Wherefore dealt ye so ill H5046 with me, as to tell H376 the man H251 whether ye had yet a brother?
H559 And they said, H376 The man H7592 asked H7592 straitly H4138 concerning ourselves, and concerning our kindred, H559 saying, H1 Is your father H3426 yet H2416 alive? H3426 have ye H251 another brother? H5046 and we told H5921 him according H6310 to the tenor H1697 of these words: H3045 could we in any wise know H559 that he would say, H3381 Bring H251 your brother H3381 down?
H3063 And Judah H559 said H3478 unto Israel H1 his father, H7971 Send H5288 the lad H6965 with me, and we will arise H3212 and go; H2421 that we may live, H4191 and not die, H2945 both we, and thou, and also our little ones.
H6148 I will be surety H3027 for him; of my hand H1245 shalt thou require H518 him: if H935 I bring H518 him not H3322 unto thee, and set H6440 him before thee, H2398 then let me bear the blame H3117 for ever:
H3884 for except H4102 we had lingered, H7725 surely we had now returned H6471 a second time.
H1 And their father H3478 Israel H559 said H645 unto them, If it be so now, H6213 do H3947 this: take H2173 of the choice fruits H776 of the land H3627 in your vessels, H3381 and carry down H376 the man H4503 a present, H4592 a little H6875 balm, H4592 and a little H1706 honey, H5219 spicery H3910 and myrrh, H992 nuts, H8247 and almonds;
H3947 and take H4932 double H3701 money H3027 in your hand; H3701 and the money H7725 that was returned H6310 in the mouth H572 of your sacks H7725 carry again H3027 in your hand; H4870 peradventure it was an oversight:
H3947 take H251 also your brother, H6965 and arise, H7725 go again H376 unto the man:
H410 and God H7706 Almighty H5414 give H7356 you mercy H6440 before H376 the man, H7971 that he may release H312 unto you your other H251 brother H1144 and Benjamin. H834 And if H7921 I be bereaved H7921 of my children, I am bereaved.
H582 And the men H3947 took H2063 that H4503 present, H3947 and they took H4932 double H3701 money H3027 in their hand, H1144 and Benjamin; H6965 and rose up, H3381 and went down H4714 to Egypt, H5975 and stood H6440 before H3130 Joseph.
H3130 And when Joseph H7200 saw H1144 Benjamin H854 with H559 them, he said H1004 to the steward of his house, H935 Bring H582 the men H1004 into the house, H2873 and slay, H3559 and make ready; H582 for the men H398 shall dine H6672 with me at noon.
H376 And the man H6213 did H3130 as Joseph H559 bade; H376 and the man H935 brought H582 the men H3130 to Joseph's H1004 house.
H582 And the men H3372 were afraid, H935 because they were brought H3130 to Joseph's H1004 house; H559 and they said, H1697 Because H3701 of the money H7725 that was returned H572 in our sacks H8462 at the first time H935 are we brought in; H1556 that he may seek occasion H5307 against us, and fall H3947 upon us, and take H5650 us for bondmen, H2543 and our asses.
H5066 And they came near H376 to the steward H3130 of Joseph's H1004 house, H1696 and they spake H6607 unto him at the door H1004 of the house,
H559 and said, H994 Oh, H113 my lord, H3381 we came indeed H3381 down H8462 at the first time H7666 to buy H400 food:
H935 and it came to pass, when we came H4411 to the lodging-place, H6605 that we opened H572 our sacks, H376 and, behold, every man's H3701 money H6310 was in the mouth H572 of his sack, H3701 our money H4948 in full weight: H7725 and we have brought it again H3027 in our hand.
H312 And other H3701 money H3381 have we brought down H3027 in our hand H7666 to buy H400 food: H3045 we know not who H7760 put H3701 our money H572 in our sacks.
H559 And he said, H7965 Peace H3372 be to you, fear H430 not: your God, H430 and the God H1 of your father, H5414 hath given H4301 you treasure H572 in your sacks: H935 I had H3701 your money. H3318 And he brought H8095 Simeon out unto them.
H376 And the man H935 brought H582 the men H3130 into Joseph's H1004 house, H5414 and gave H4325 them water, H7364 and they washed H7272 their feet; H5414 and he gave H2543 their asses H4554 provender.
H3559 And they made ready H4503 the present H5704 against H3130 Joseph's H935 coming H6672 at noon: H8085 for they heard H398 that they should eat H3899 bread there.
H3130 And when Joseph H935 came H1004 home, H935 they brought H4503 him the present H3027 which was in their hand H1004 into the house, H7812 and bowed H776 down themselves to him to the earth.
H7592 And he asked H7965 them of their welfare, H559 and said, H1 Is your father H7965 well, H2205 the old man H559 of whom ye spake? H2416 Is he yet alive?
H559 And they said, H5650 Thy servant H1 our father H7965 is well, H2416 he is yet alive. H6915 And they bowed the head, H7812 and made obeisance.
H5375 And he lifted up H5869 his eyes, H7200 and saw H1144 Benjamin H251 his brother, H517 his mother's H1121 son, H559 and said, H6996 Is this your youngest H251 brother, H559 of whom ye spake H559 unto me? And he said, H430 God H2603 be gracious H1121 unto thee, my son.
H3130 And Joseph H4116 made haste; H7356 for his heart H3648 yearned H251 over his brother: H1245 and he sought H1058 where to weep; H935 and he entered H2315 into his chamber, H1058 and wept there.
H7364 And he washed H6440 his face, H3318 and came out; H662 and he refrained H559 himself, and said, H7760 Set on H3899 bread.
H7760 And they set on H4713 for him by himself, and for them by themselves, and for the Egyptians, H398 that did eat H4713 with him, by themselves: because the Egyptians H3201 might H398 not eat H3899 bread H5680 with the Hebrews; H8441 for that is an abomination H4714 unto the Egyptians.
H3427 And they sat H6440 before him, H1060 the first-born H1062 according to his birthright, H6810 and the youngest H6812 according to his youth: H582 and the men H8539 marvelled H376 one H7453 with another.
H5375 And he took H4864 and sent messes H6440 unto them from before him: H1144 but Benjamin's H4864 mess H2568 was five H3027 times H7235 so much as H8354 any of theirs. And they drank, H7937 and were merry with him.
