15 H7200 ויראו saw H1121 בני And when the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H559 ויאמרו they said H376 אישׁ one H413 אל to H251 אחיו another, H4478 מן manna: H1931 הוא It H3588 כי for H3808 לא not H3045 ידעו they knew H4100 מה what H1931 הוא it H559 ויאמר said H4872 משׁה And Moses H413 אלהם unto H1931 הוא them, This H3899 הלחם the bread H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתן hath given H3068 יהוה the LORD H402 לכם לאכלה׃ you to eat.

16 H2088 זה This H1697 הדבר the thing H834 אשׁר which H6680 צוה hath commanded, H3068 יהוה the LORD H3950 לקטו Gather H4480 ממנו of H376 אישׁ it every man H6310 לפי according to H400 אכלו his eating, H6016 עמר an omer H1538 לגלגלת for every man, H4557 מספר the number H5315 נפשׁתיכם of your persons; H376 אישׁ ye every man H834 לאשׁר for which H168 באהלו in his tents. H3947 תקחו׃ take

17 H6213 ויעשׂו did H3651 כן so, H1121 בני And the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H3950 וילקטו and gathered, H7235 המרבה some more, H4591 והממעיט׃ some less.

18 H4058 וימדו And when they did mete H6016 בעמר with an omer, H3808 ולא had nothing over, H5736 העדיף had nothing over, H7235 המרבה he that gathered much H4591 והממעיט and he that gathered little H3808 לא had no H2637 החסיר lack; H376 אישׁ every man H6310 לפי according to H400 אכלו his eating. H3950 לקטו׃ they gathered

19 H559 ויאמר said, H4872 משׁה And Moses H413 אלהם H376 אישׁ man H408 אל Let no H3498 יותר leave H4480 ממנו of H5704 עד it till H1242 בקר׃ the morning.

20 H3808 ולא not H8085 שׁמעו Notwithstanding they hearkened H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses; H3498 ויותרו of them left H582 אנשׁים H4480 ממנו of H5704 עד it until H1242 בקר the morning, H7311 וירם and it bred H8438 תולעים worms, H887 ויבאשׁ and stank: H7107 ויקצף was wroth H5921 עלהם with H4872 משׁה׃ and Moses

21 H3950 וילקטו And they gathered H853 אתו H1242 בבקר it every morning, H1242 בבקר it every morning, H376 אישׁ every man H6310 כפי according to H400 אכלו his eating: H2552 וחם waxed hot, H8121 השׁמשׁ and when the sun H4549 ונמס׃ it melted.

22 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass, H3117 ביום day H8345 השׁשׁי on the sixth H3950 לקטו they gathered H3899 לחם bread, H4932 משׁנה twice as much H8147 שׁני two H6016 העמר omers H259 לאחד for one H935 ויבאו came H3605 כל and all H5387 נשׂיאי the rulers H5712 העדה of the congregation H5046 ויגידו and told H4872 למשׁה׃ Moses.

23 H559 ויאמר And he said H413 אלהם unto H1931 הוא them, This H834 אשׁר which H1696 דבר hath said, H3068 יהוה the LORD H7677 שׁבתון the rest H7676 שׁבת sabbath H6944 קדשׁ of the holy H3068 ליהוה unto the LORD: H4279 מחר Tomorrow H853 את H834 אשׁר which H644 תאפו bake H644 אפו ye will bake H853 ואת H834 אשׁר that H1310 תבשׁלו and seethe H1310 בשׁלו ye will seethe; H853 ואת H3605 כל and that which H5736 העדף remaineth over H3240 הניחו H4931 לכם למשׁמרת for you to be kept H5704 עד until H1242 הבקר׃ the morning.

24 H3240 ויניחו H853 אתו H5704 עד till H1242 הבקר the morning, H834 כאשׁר as H6680 צוה bade: H4872 משׁה Moses H3808 ולא and it did not H887 הבאישׁ stink, H7415 ורמה there any worm H3808 לא neither H1961 היתה׃ was

25 H559 ויאמר said, H4872 משׁה And Moses H398 אכלהו Eat H3117 היום that today; H3588 כי for H7676 שׁבת a sabbath H3117 היום today H3068 ליהוה unto the LORD: H3117 היום today H3808 לא ye shall not H4672 תמצאהו find H7704 בשׂדה׃ it in the field.

26 H8337 שׁשׁת Six H3117 ימים days H3950 תלקטהו ye shall gather H3117 וביום day, H7637 השׁביעי it; but on the seventh H7676 שׁבת the sabbath, H3808 לא none. H1961 יהיה׃ in it there shall be

27 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass, H3117 ביום day H7637 השׁביעי on the seventh H3318 יצאו there went out H4480 מן of H5971 העם the people H3950 ללקט for to gather, H3808 ולא none. H4672 מצאו׃ and they found

28 H559 ויאמר said H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses, H5704 עד H575 אנה H3985 מאנתם refuse H8104 לשׁמר ye to keep H4687 מצותי my commandments H8451 ותורתי׃ and my laws?

29 H7200 ראו See, H3588 כי for H3068 יהוה that the LORD H5414 נתן hath given H7676 לכם השׁבת you the sabbath, H5921 על therefore H3651 כן therefore H1931 הוא he H5414 נתן giveth H3117 לכם ביום day H8345 השׁשׁי you on the sixth H3899 לחם the bread H3117 יומים of two days; H3427 שׁבו abide H376 אישׁ ye every man H8478 תחתיו in his place, H408 אל let no H3318 יצא go out H376 אישׁ man H4725 ממקמו of his place H3117 ביום day. H7637 השׁביעי׃ on the seventh

30 H7673 וישׁבתו rested H5971 העם So the people H3117 ביום day. H7637 השׁבעי׃ on the seventh

31 H7121 ויקראו called H1004 בית And the house H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H853 את H8034 שׁמו the name H4478 מן thereof Manna: H1931 והוא and it H2233 כזרע seed, H1407 גד like coriander H3836 לבן white; H2940 וטעמו and the taste H6838 כצפיחת of it like wafers H1706 בדבשׁ׃ with honey.

32 H559 ויאמר said, H4872 משׁה And Moses H2088 זה This H1697 הדבר the thing H834 אשׁר which H6680 צוה commandeth, H3068 יהוה the LORD H4393 מלא Fill H6016 העמר an omer H4480 ממנו of H4931 למשׁמרת it to be kept H1755 לדרתיכם for your generations; H4616 למען that H7200 יראו they may see H853 את H3899 הלחם the bread H834 אשׁר wherewith H398 האכלתי I have fed H853 אתכם H4057 במדבר you in the wilderness, H3318 בהוציאי H853 אתכם H776 מארץ from the land H4714 מצרים׃ of Egypt.

33 H559 ויאמר said H4872 משׁה And Moses H413 אל unto H175 אהרן Aaron, H3947 קח Take H6803 צנצנת pot, H259 אחת a H5414 ותן and put H8033 שׁמה therein, H4393 מלא full H6016 העמר an omer H4478 מן of manna H3240 והנח H853 אתו H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה the LORD, H4931 למשׁמרת to be kept H1755 לדרתיכם׃ for your generations.

34 H834 כאשׁר As H6680 צוה commanded H3068 יהוה the LORD H413 אל commanded H4872 משׁה Moses, H3240 ויניחהו H175 אהרן so Aaron H6440 לפני before H5715 העדת the Testimony, H4931 למשׁמרת׃ to be kept.

35 H1121 ובני And the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H398 אכלו did eat H853 את H4478 המן manna H705 ארבעים forty H8141 שׁנה years, H5704 עד until H935 באם they came H413 אל to H776 ארץ a land H3427 נושׁבת inhabited; H853 את H4478 המן manna, H398 אכלו they did eat H5704 עד until H935 באם they came H413 אל unto H7097 קצה the borders H776 ארץ of the land H3667 כנען׃ of Canaan.
