Jeremiah 27 בראשׁית In the beginning ממלכת of the reign יהויקם of Jehoiakim בן the son יאושׁיהו of Josiah מלך king יהודה of Judah היה came הדבר word הזה this אל unto ירמיה Jeremiah מאת יהוה לאמר׃ saying,

1 H7225 בראשׁית In the beginning H4467 ממלכת of the reign H3079 יהויקם of Jehoiakim H1121 בן the son H2977 יאושׁיהו of Josiah H4428 מלך king H3063 יהודה of Judah H1961 היה came H1697 הדבר word H2088 הזה this H413 אל unto H3414 ירמיה Jeremiah H853 מאת H3069 יהוה H559 לאמר׃ saying,

2 H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H413 אלי to H6213 עשׂה me; Make H4147 לך מוסרות thee bonds H4133 ומטות and yokes, H5414 ונתתם and put H5921 על them upon H6677 צוארך׃ thy neck,

3 H7971 ושׁלחתם And send H413 אל them to H4428 מלך the king H123 אדום of Edom, H413 ואל and to H4428 מלך the king H4124 מואב of Moab, H413 ואל and to H4428 מלך the king H1121 בני H5983 עמון H413 ואל and to H4428 מלך the king H6865 צר of Tyrus, H413 ואל unto H4428 מלך and to the king H6721 צידון of Zidon, H3027 ביד by the hand H4397 מלאכים of the messengers H935 הבאים which come H3389 ירושׁלם to Jerusalem H413 אל H6667 צדקיהו Zedekiah H4428 מלך king H3063 יהודה׃ of Judah;

4 H6680 וצוית And command H853 אתם H413 אל unto H113 אדניהם their masters, H559 לאמר them to say H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts, H430 אלהי the God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel; H3541 כה Thus H559 תאמרו shall ye say H413 אל unto H113 אדניכם׃ your masters;

5 H595 אנכי I H6213 עשׂיתי have made H853 את H776 הארץ the earth, H853 את H120 האדם the man H853 ואת H929 הבהמה and the beast H834 אשׁר that H5921 על upon H6440 פני upon H776 הארץ the ground, H3581 בכחי power H1419 הגדול by my great H2220 ובזרועי arm, H5186 הנטויה and by my outstretched H5414 ונתתיה and have given H834 לאשׁר it unto whom H3474 ישׁר meet H5869 בעיני׃ it seemed

6 H6258 ועתה And now H595 אנכי have I H5414 נתתי given H853 את H3605 כל all H776 הארצות lands H428 האלה these H3027 ביד into the hand H5019 נבוכדנאצר of Nebuchadnezzar H4428 מלך the king H894 בבל of Babylon, H5650 עבדי my servant; H1571 וגם him also H853 את H2416 חית and the beasts H7704 השׂדה of the field H5414 נתתי have I given H5647 לו לעבדו׃ to serve

7 H5647 ועבדו shall serve H853 אתו H3605 כל And all H1471 הגוים nations H853 ואת H1121 בנו him, and his son, H853 ואת H1121 בן and his son's H1121 בנו son, H5704 עד until H935 בא come: H6256 עת the very time H776 ארצו of his land H1571 גם and then H1931 הוא themselves of him. H5647 ועבדו shall serve H1471 בו גוים nations H7227 רבים many H4428 ומלכים kings H1419 גדלים׃ and great

8 H1961 והיה And it shall come to pass, H1471 הגוי the nation H4467 והממלכה and kingdom H834 אשׁר which H3808 לא will not H5647 יעבדו serve H853 אתו H853 את H5019 נבוכדנאצר the same Nebuchadnezzar H4428 מלך the king H894 בבל of Babylon, H853 ואת H834 אשׁר and that H3808 לא will not H5414 יתן put H853 את H6677 צוארו their neck H5923 בעל under the yoke H4428 מלך of the king H894 בבל of Babylon, H2719 בחרב with the sword, H7458 וברעב and with the famine, H1698 ובדבר and with the pestilence, H6485 אפקד will I punish, H5921 על H1471 הגוי nation H1931 ההוא that H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H5704 עד until H8552 תמי I have consumed H853 אתם H3027 בידו׃ them by his hand.

9 H859 ואתם ye H408 אל not H8085 תשׁמעו Therefore hearken H413 אל to H5030 נביאיכם your prophets, H413 ואל nor to H7080 קסמיכם your diviners, H413 ואל nor to H2472 חלמתיכם your dreamers, H413 ואל nor to H6049 ענניכם your enchanters, H413 ואל nor to H3786 כשׁפיכם your sorcerers, H834 אשׁר which H1992 הם which H559 אמרים speak H413 אליכם unto H559 לאמר you, saying, H3808 לא Ye shall not H5647 תעבדו serve H853 את H4428 מלך the king H894 בבל׃ of Babylon:

10 H3588 כי For H8267 שׁקר a lie H1992 הם they H5012 נבאים prophesy H4616 לכם למען unto you, to H7368 הרחיק H853 אתכם H5921 מעל from H127 אדמתכם your land; H5080 והדחתי H853 אתכם H6 ואבדתם׃ and ye should perish.

11 H1471 והגוי But the nations H834 אשׁר that H935 יביא bring H853 את H6677 צוארו their neck H5923 בעל under the yoke H4428 מלך of the king H894 בבל of Babylon, H5647 ועבדו and serve H3240 והנחתיו H5921 על still in H127 אדמתו their own land, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD; H5647 ועבדה and they shall till H3427 וישׁב׃ it, and dwell

12 H413 ואל also to H6667 צדקיה Zedekiah H4428 מלך king H3063 יהודה of Judah H1696 דברתי I spoke H3605 ככל according to all H1697 הדברים words, H428 האלה these H559 לאמר saying, H935 הביאו Bring H853 את H6677 צואריכם your necks H5923 בעל under the yoke H4428 מלך of the king H894 בבל of Babylon, H5647 ועבדו and serve H853 אתו H5971 ועמו him and his people, H2421 וחיו׃ and live.

13 H4100 למה Why H4191 תמותו will ye die, H859 אתה thou H5971 ועמך and thy people, H2719 בחרב by the sword, H7458 ברעב by the famine, H1698 ובדבר and by the pestilence, H834 כאשׁר as H1696 דבר hath spoken H3068 יהוה the LORD H413 אל against H1471 הגוי the nation H834 אשׁר that H3808 לא will not H5647 יעבד serve H853 את H4428 מלך the king H894 בבל׃ of Babylon?

14 H408 ואל not H8085 תשׁמעו Therefore hearken H413 אל unto H1697 דברי the words H5030 הנבאים of the prophets H559 האמרים that speak H413 אליכם unto H559 לאמר you, saying, H3808 לא Ye shall not H5647 תעבדו serve H853 את H4428 מלך the king H894 בבל of Babylon: H3588 כי for H8267 שׁקר a lie H1992 הם they H5012 נבאים׃ prophesy

15 H3588 כי For H3808 לא I have not H7971 שׁלחתים sent H5002 נאם them, saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H1992 והם yet they H5012 נבאים prophesy H8034 בשׁמי in my name; H8267 לשׁקר a lie H4616 למען that H5080 הדיחי H853 אתכם H6 ואבדתם and that ye might perish, H859 אתם ye, H5030 והנבאים and the prophets H5012 הנבאים׃ that prophesy

16 H413 ואל to H3548 הכהנים the priests H413 ואל and to H3605 כל all H5971 העם people, H2088 הזה this H1696 דברתי Also I spoke H559 לאמר saying, H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD; H408 אל not H8085 תשׁמעו Hearken H413 אל to H1697 דברי the words H5030 נביאיכם of your prophets H5012 הנבאים that prophesy H559 לכם לאמר unto you, saying, H2009 הנה Behold, H3627 כלי the vessels H1004 בית house H3068 יהוה of the LORD's H7725 מושׁבים be brought again H894 מבבלה H6258 עתה shall now H4120 מהרה shortly H3588 כי for H8267 שׁקר a lie H1992 המה they H5012 נבאים׃ prophesy

17 H408 אל not H8085 תשׁמעו Hearken H413 אליהם unto H5647 עבדו them; serve H853 את H4428 מלך the king H894 בבל of Babylon, H2421 וחיו and live: H4100 למה wherefore H1961 תהיה be H5892 העיר city H2063 הזאת should this H2723 חרבה׃ laid waste?

18 H518 ואם But if H5030 נבאים prophets, H1992 הם they H518 ואם and if H3426 ישׁ be H1697 דבר the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H854 אתם with H6293 יפגעו make intercession H4994 נא them, let them now H3068 ביהוה to the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts, H1115 לבלתי not H935 באו go H3627 הכלים that the vessels H3498 הנותרים which are left H1004 בבית in the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H1004 ובית and the house H4428 מלך of the king H3063 יהודה of Judah, H3389 ובירושׁלם and at Jerusalem, H894 בבלה׃ to Babylon.

19 H3588 כי For H3541 כה thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts H413 אל concerning H5982 העמדים the pillars, H5921 ועל and concerning H3220 הים the sea, H5921 ועל and concerning H4350 המכנות the bases, H5921 ועל and concerning H3499 יתר the residue H3627 הכלים of the vessels H3498 הנותרים that remain H5892 בעיר city, H2063 הזאת׃ in this

20 H834 אשׁר Which H3808 לא not, H3947 לקחם took H5019 נבוכדנאצר Nebuchadnezzar H4428 מלך king H894 בבל of Babylon H1540 בגלותו when he carried away captive H853 את H3204 יכוניה Jeconiah H1121 בן the son H3079 יהויקים of Jehoiakim H4428 מלך king H3063 יהודה of Judah H3389 מירושׁלם and Jerusalem; H894 בבלה to Babylon, H853 ואת H3605 כל and all H2715 חרי the nobles H3063 יהודה of Judah H3389 וירושׁלם׃

21 H3588 כי Yea, H3541 כה thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts, H430 אלהי the God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H5921 על concerning H3627 הכלים the vessels H3498 הנותרים that remain H1004 בית the house H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H1004 ובית and the house H4428 מלך of the king H3063 יהודה of Judah H3389 וירושׁלם׃ and of Jerusalem;

22 H894 בבלה to Babylon, H935 יובאו They shall be carried H8033 ושׁמה and there H1961 יהיו shall they be H5704 עד until H3117 יום the day H6485 פקדי that I visit H853 אתם H5002 נאם them, saith H3068 יהוה the LORD; H5927 והעליתים then will I bring them up, H7725 והשׁיבתים and restore H413 אל them to H4725 המקום place. H2088 הזה׃
