Jeremiah 27 In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word to Jeremiah from the LORD , saying,

2 H559 [H8804] Thus saith H3068 the LORD H6213 [H8798] to me; Make H4147 for thee bonds H4133 and yokes H5414 [H8804] , and put H6677 them upon thy neck,

3 H7971 [H8765] And send H4428 them to the king H123 of Edom H4428 , and to the king H4124 of Moab H4428 , and to the king H1121 H5983 of the Ammonites H4428 , and to the king H6865 of Tyre H4428 , and to the king H6721 of Zidon H3027 , by the hand H4397 of the messengers H935 [H8802] who come H3389 to Jerusalem H6667 to Zedekiah H4428 king H3063 of Judah;

4 H6680 [H8765] And command H559 [H8800] them to say H113 to their masters H559 [H8804] , Thus saith H3068 the LORD H6635 of hosts H430 , the God H3478 of Israel H559 [H8799] ; Thus shall ye say H113 to your masters;

5 H6213 [H8804] I have made H776 the earth H120 , the man H929 and the beast H6440 that are upon H776 the ground H1419 , by my great H3581 power H5186 [H8803] and by my outstretched H2220 arm H5414 [H8804] , and have given H5869 it to whom it seemed H3474 [H8804] right to me.

6 H5414 [H8804] And now have I given H776 all these lands H3027 into the hand H5019 of Nebuchadnezzar H4428 the king H894 of Babylon H5650 , my servant H2416 ; and the beasts H7704 of the field H5414 [H8804] have I given H5647 [H8800] him also to serve him.

7 H1471 And all nations H5647 [H8804] shall serve H1121 him, and his son H1121 , and his son's H1121 son H6256 , until the very time H776 of his land H935 [H8800] shall come H7227 : and then many H1471 nations H1419 and great H4428 kings H5647 [H8804] shall bring him into subjection.

8 H1471 And it shall come to pass, that the nation H4467 and kingdom H5647 [H8799] which will not serve H5019 the same Nebuchadnezzar H4428 king H894 of Babylon H5414 [H8799] , and that will not put H6677 their neck H5923 under the yoke H4428 of the king H894 of Babylon H1471 , that nation H6485 [H8799] will I punish H5002 [H8803] , saith H3068 the LORD H2719 , with the sword H7458 , and with the famine H1698 , and with the pestilence H8552 [H8800] , until I have consumed H3027 them by his hand.

9 H8085 [H8799] Therefore hearken H5030 ye not to your prophets H7080 [H8802] , nor to your diviners H2472 , nor to your dreamers H6049 [H8781] , nor to your enchanters H3786 , nor to your sorcerers H559 [H8802] , who speak H559 [H8800] to you, saying H5647 [H8799] , Ye shall not serve H4428 the king H894 of Babylon:

10 H5012 [H8737] For they prophesy H8267 a lie H7368 [H8687] to you, to remove you far H127 from your land H5080 [H8689] ; and that I should drive you out H6 [H8804] , and ye should perish.

11 H1471 But the nations H935 [H8686] that bring H6677 their neck H5923 under the yoke H4428 of the king H894 of Babylon H5647 [H8804] , and serve H3240 [H8689] him, those will I let remain still H127 in their own land H5002 [H8803] , saith H3068 the LORD H5647 [H8804] ; and they shall till H3427 [H8804] it, and dwell in it.

12 H1696 [H8765] I spoke H6667 also to Zedekiah H4428 king H3063 of Judah H1697 according to all these words H559 [H8800] , saying H935 [H8685] , Bring H6677 your necks H5923 under the yoke H4428 of the king H894 of Babylon H5647 [H8798] , and serve H5971 him and his people H2421 [H8798] , and live.

13 H4191 [H8799] Why will ye die H5971 , thou and thy people H2719 , by the sword H7458 , by the famine H1698 , and by the pestilence H3068 , as the LORD H1696 [H8765] hath spoken H1471 against the nation H5647 [H8799] that will not serve H4428 the king H894 of Babylon?

14 H8085 [H8799] Therefore hearken H1697 not to the words H5030 of the prophets H559 [H8802] that speak H559 [H8800] to you, saying H5647 [H8799] , Ye shall not serve H4428 the king H894 of Babylon H5012 [H8737] : for they prophesy H8267 a lie to you.

15 H7971 [H8804] For I have not sent H5002 [H8803] them, saith H3068 the LORD H5012 [H8737] , yet they prophesy H8267 a lie H8034 in my name H5080 [H8687] ; that I might drive you out H6 [H8804] , and that ye might perish H5030 , ye, and the prophets H5012 [H8737] that prophesy to you.

16 H1696 [H8765] Also I spoke H3548 to the priests H5971 and to all this people H559 [H8800] , saying H559 [H8804] , Thus saith H3068 the LORD H8085 [H8799] ; Hearken H1697 not to the words H5030 of your prophets H5012 [H8737] that prophesy H559 [H8800] to you, saying H3627 , Behold, the vessels H3068 of the LORD'S H1004 house H4120 shall now shortly H7725 [H8716] be brought again H894 from Babylon H5012 [H8737] : for they prophesy H8267 a lie to you.

17 H8085 [H8799] Hearken H5647 [H8798] not to them; serve H4428 the king H894 of Babylon H2421 [H8798] , and live H5892 : why should this city H2723 be laid waste?

18 H5030 But if they are prophets H1697 , and if the word H3068 of the LORD H3426 is H6293 [H8799] with them, let them now make intercession H3068 to the LORD H6635 of hosts H3627 , that the vessels H3498 [H8737] which are left H1004 in the house H3068 of the LORD H1004 , and in the house H4428 of the king H3063 of Judah H3389 , and at Jerusalem H935 [H8804] , go H894 not to Babylon.

19 H559 [H8804] For thus saith H3068 the LORD H6635 of hosts H5982 concerning the pillars H3220 , and concerning the sea H4350 , and concerning the bases H3499 , and concerning the rest H3627 of the vessels H3498 [H8737] that remain H5892 in this city,

20 H5019 Which Nebuchadnezzar H4428 king H894 of Babylon H3947 [H8804] took H1540 [H8687] not, when he carried away captive H3204 Jeconiah H1121 the son H3079 of Jehoiakim H4428 king H3063 of Judah H3389 from Jerusalem H894 to Babylon H2715 , and all the nobles H3063 of Judah H3389 and Jerusalem;

21 H559 [H8804] Yea, thus saith H3068 the LORD H6635 of hosts H430 , the God H3478 of Israel H3627 , concerning the vessels H3498 [H8737] that remain H1004 in the house H3068 of the LORD H1004 , and in the house H4428 of the king H3063 of Judah H3389 and of Jerusalem;

22 H935 [H8714] They shall be carried H894 to Babylon H3117 , and there shall they be until the day H6485 [H8800] that I visit H5002 [H8803] them, saith H3068 the LORD H5927 [H8689] ; then will I bring H7725 [H8689] them up, and restore H4725 them to this place.
