Indonesian⁽ⁱ⁾ ³ Karena itu TUHAN marah kepada Israel sehingga Ia membiarkan Hazael raja Siria dan Benhadad anaknya, berkali-kali mengalahkan Israel. ⁴ Lalu Yoahas berdoa kepada TUHAN, dan TUHAN mendengar doanya itu, karena TUHAN melihat betapa kejamnya raja Siria menindas orang Israel. ⁵ TUHAN memberikan kepada orang Israel seorang pemimpin yang melepaskan mereka dari kekuasaan Siria sehingga mereka hidup tenteram lagi seperti semula. ⁶ Meskipun begitu orang Israel tidak berhenti melakukan dosa-dosa yang dimulai oleh Raja Yerobeam. Mereka terus melakukan dosa-dosa itu, dan membiarkan patung Dewi Asyera tetap berada di Samaria. ⁷ Angkatan perang Israel sudah dimusnahkan oleh raja Siria sehingga Raja Yoahas hanya mempunyai 50 tentara berkuda, 10 kereta perang, dan 10.000 prajurit.

Romanian⁽ⁱ⁾ ³ Domnul S'a aprins de mînie împotriva lui Israel, şi i -a dat în mînile lui Hazael, împăratul Siriei, şi în mînile lui Ben-Hadad, fiul lui Hazael, tot timpul cît au trăit împăraţii aceştia. ⁴ Ioahaz s'a rugat Domnului. Domnul l -a ascultat, căci a văzut apăsarea subt care ţinea împăratul Siriei pe Israel, ⁵ şi Domnul a dat un izbăvitor lui Israel. Copiii lui Israel au scăpat din mînile Sirienilor, şi au locuit în corturile lor ca mai nainte. ⁶ Dar nu s'au abătut dela păcatele casei lui Ieroboam, care făcuse pe Israel să păcătuiască; s'au dedat şi ei la ele, şi chiar idolul Astarteei sta încă în picioare la Samaria. ⁷ Din tot poporul lui Ioahaz Domnul nu -i lăsase decît cincizeci de călăreţi, zece cară, şi zece mii de pedestraşi; căci împăratul Siriei îi prăpădise şi -i făcuse ca pulberea pe care o calci în picioare.

Ukrainian⁽ⁱ⁾ ³ І запалився гнів Господа на Ізраїля, і Він дав їх у руку Газаїла, царя сирійського, та в руку Бен-Гадада, Газаїлового сина, на всі ті дні. ⁴ Та вблагав Єгоахаз лице Господнє, і Господь його вислухав, бо бачив Він горе Ізраїля, бо тиснув їх сирійський цар. ⁵ І дав Господь Ізраїлеві спасителя, і вони вийшли з-під руки Сирії. І сиділи Ізраїлеві сини в своїх наметах, як давніш. ⁶ Тільки не відійшли вони з гріхів дому Єровоама, що вводив у гріх Ізраїля, і сам у тому ходив, і Астарта стояла в Самарії. ⁷ А Сирія не позоставила Єгоахазові народу, як тільки п'ятдесят верхівців та десять возів, та десять тисяч піхоти, бо їх вигубив сирійський цар, і зробив їх порохом на топтання.
