  15 H3318 [H8804] Wherever they went out, H3027 the hand H3068 of the LORD H7451 was against them for evil, H3068 as the LORD H1696 [H8765] had said, H3068 and as the LORD H7650 [H8738] had sworn H3966 to them: and they were greatly H3334 [H8799] distressed.
  16 H3068 Nevertheless the LORD H6965 [H8686] raised up H8199 [H8802] judges, H3467 [H8686] who liberated H3027 them out of the hand H8154 [H8802] of those that plundered them.

  22 H5254 [H8763] That through them I may test H3478 Israel, H8104 [H8802] whether they will keep H1870 the way H3068 of the LORD H3212 [H8800] to walk H1 in it, as their fathers H8104 [H8804] kept it, or not.
  23 H3068 Therefore the LORD H3240 [H8686] left H1471 those nations, H1115 without H3423 [H8687] driving them out H4118 speedily; H5414 [H8804] neither did he give H3027 them into the hand H3091 of Joshua.
