Leviticus 8 And the LORD spake unto Moses , saying ,

1 H3068 And the LORD H1696 spake [H8762] H4872 unto Moses H559 , saying [H8800] ,

2 H3947 Take [H8798] H175 Aaron H1121 and his sons H899 with him, and the garments H4888 , and the anointing H8081 oil H6499 , and a bullock H2403 for the sin offering H8147 , and two H352 rams H5536 , and a basket H4682 of unleavened bread;

3 H6950 And gather H5712 thou all the congregation H6950 together [H8685] H6607 unto the door H168 of the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation.

4 H4872 And Moses H6213 did [H8799] H3068 as the LORD H6680 commanded [H8765] H5712 him; and the assembly H6950 was gathered together [H8735] H6607 unto the door H168 of the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation.

5 H4872 And Moses H559 said [H8799] H5712 unto the congregation H1697 , This is the thing H3068 which the LORD H6680 commanded [H8765] H6213 to be done [H8800] .

6 H4872 And Moses H7126 brought [H8686] H175 Aaron H1121 and his sons H7364 , and washed [H8799] H4325 them with water.

7 H5414 And he put [H8799] H3801 upon him the coat H2296 , and girded [H8799] H73 him with the girdle H3847 , and clothed [H8686] H4598 him with the robe H5414 , and put [H8799] H646 the ephod H2296 upon him, and he girded [H8799] H2805 him with the curious girdle H646 of the ephod H640 , and bound [H8799] it unto him therewith.

8 H7760 And he put [H8799] H2833 the breastplate H5414 upon him: also he put [H8799] H2833 in the breastplate H224 the Urim H8550 and the Thummim.

9 H7760 And he put [H8799] H4701 the mitre H7218 upon his head H4701 ; also upon the mitre H6440 , even upon his forefront H4136 H7760 , did he put [H8799] H2091 the golden H6731 plate H6944 , the holy H5145 crown H3068 ; as the LORD H6680 commanded [H8765] H4872 Moses.

10 H4872 And Moses H3947 took [H8799] H4888 the anointing H8081 oil H4886 , and anointed [H8799] H4908 the tabernacle H6942 and all that was therein, and sanctified [H8762] them.

11 H5137 And he sprinkled [H8686] H4196 thereof upon the altar H7651 seven H6471 times H4886 , and anointed [H8799] H4196 the altar H3627 and all his vessels H3595 , both the laver H3653 and his foot H6942 , to sanctify [H8763] them.

12 H3332 And he poured [H8799] H4888 of the anointing H8081 oil H175 upon Aaron's H7218 head H4886 , and anointed [H8799] H6942 him, to sanctify [H8763] him.

13 H4872 And Moses H7126 brought [H8686] H175 Aaron's H1121 sons H3847 , and put [H8686] H3801 coats H2296 upon them, and girded [H8799] H73 them with girdles H2280 , and put [H8799] H4021 bonnets H3068 upon them; as the LORD H6680 commanded [H8765] H4872 Moses.

14 H5066 And he brought [H8686] H6499 the bullock H2403 for the sin offering H175 : and Aaron H1121 and his sons H5564 laid [H8799] H3027 their hands H7218 upon the head H6499 of the bullock H2403 for the sin offering.

15 H7819 And he slew [H8799] H4872 it; and Moses H3947 took [H8799] H1818 the blood H5414 , and put [H8799] H7161 it upon the horns H4196 of the altar H5439 round about H676 with his finger H2398 , and purified [H8762] H4196 the altar H3332 , and poured [H8804] H1818 the blood H3247 at the bottom H4196 of the altar H6942 , and sanctified [H8762] H3722 it, to make reconciliation [H8763] upon it.

16 H3947 And he took [H8799] H2459 all the fat H7130 that was upon the inwards H3508 , and the caul H3516 above the liver H8147 , and the two H3629 kidneys H2459 , and their fat H4872 , and Moses H6999 burned [H8686] H4196 it upon the altar.

17 H6499 But the bullock H5785 , and his hide H1320 , his flesh H6569 , and his dung H8313 , he burnt [H8804] H784 with fire H2351 without H4264 the camp H3068 ; as the LORD H6680 commanded [H8765] H4872 Moses.

18 H7126 And he brought [H8686] H352 the ram H5930 for the burnt offering H175 : and Aaron H1121 and his sons H5564 laid [H8799] H3027 their hands H7218 upon the head H352 of the ram.

19 H7819 And he killed [H8799] H4872 it; and Moses H2236 sprinkled [H8799] H1818 the blood H4196 upon the altar H5439 round about.

20 H5408 And he cut [H8765] H352 the ram H5409 into pieces H4872 ; and Moses H6999 burnt [H8686] H7218 the head H5409 , and the pieces H6309 , and the fat.

21 H7364 And he washed [H8804] H7130 the inwards H3767 and the legs H4325 in water H4872 ; and Moses H6999 burnt [H8686] H352 the whole ram H4196 upon the altar H5930 : it was a burnt sacrifice H5207 for a sweet H7381 savour H801 , and an offering made by fire H3068 unto the LORD H3068 ; as the LORD H6680 commanded [H8765] H4872 Moses.

22 H7126 And he brought [H8686] H8145 the other H352 ram H352 , the ram H4394 of consecration H175 : and Aaron H1121 and his sons H5564 laid [H8799] H3027 their hands H7218 upon the head H352 of the ram.

23 H7819 And he slew [H8799] H4872 it; and Moses H3947 took [H8799] H1818 of the blood H5414 of it, and put [H8799] H8571 it upon the tip H175 of Aaron's H3233 right H241 ear H931 , and upon the thumb H3233 of his right H3027 hand H931 , and upon the great toe H3233 of his right H7272 foot.

24 H7126 And he brought [H8686] H175 Aaron's H1121 sons H4872 , and Moses H5414 put [H8799] H1818 of the blood H8571 upon the tip H3233 of their right H241 ear H931 , and upon the thumbs H3233 of their right H3027 hands H931 , and upon the great toes H3233 of their right H7272 feet H4872 : and Moses H2236 sprinkled [H8799] H1818 the blood H4196 upon the altar H5439 round about.

25 H3947 And he took [H8799] H2459 the fat H451 , and the rump H2459 , and all the fat H7130 that was upon the inwards H3508 , and the caul H3516 above the liver H8147 , and the two H3629 kidneys H2459 , and their fat H3225 , and the right H7785 shoulder:

26 H5536 And out of the basket H4682 of unleavened H3899 bread H6440 , that was before H3068 the LORD H3947 , he took [H8804] H259 one H4682 unleavened H2471 cake H2471 , and a cake H8081 of oiled H259 bread, and one H7550 wafer H7760 , and put [H8799] H2459 them on the fat H3225 , and upon the right H7785 shoulder:

27 H5414 And he put [H8799] H175 all upon Aaron's H3709 hands H1121 , and upon his sons H3709 ' hands H5130 , and waved [H8686] H8573 them for a wave offering H6440 before H3068 the LORD.

28 H4872 And Moses H3947 took [H8799] H3709 them from off their hands H6999 , and burnt [H8686] H4196 them on the altar H5930 upon the burnt offering H4394 : they were consecrations H5207 for a sweet H7381 savour H801 : it is an offering made by fire H3068 unto the LORD.

29 H4872 And Moses H3947 took [H8799] H2373 the breast H5130 , and waved [H8686] H8573 it for a wave offering H6440 before H3068 the LORD H352 : for of the ram H4394 of consecration H4872 it was Moses H4490 ' part H3068 ; as the LORD H6680 commanded [H8765] H4872 Moses.

30 H4872 And Moses H3947 took [H8799] H4888 of the anointing H8081 oil H1818 , and of the blood H4196 which was upon the altar H5137 , and sprinkled [H8686] H175 it upon Aaron H899 , and upon his garments H1121 , and upon his sons H1121 , and upon his sons H899 ' garments H6942 with him; and sanctified [H8762] H175 Aaron H899 , and his garments H1121 , and his sons H1121 , and his sons H899 ' garments with him.

31 H4872 And Moses H559 said [H8799] H175 unto Aaron H1121 and to his sons H1310 , Boil [H8761] H1320 the flesh H6607 at the door H168 of the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation H398 : and there eat [H8799] H3899 it with the bread H5536 that is in the basket H4394 of consecrations H6680 , as I commanded [H8765] H559 , saying [H8800] H175 , Aaron H1121 and his sons H398 shall eat [H8799] it.

32 H3498 And that which remaineth [H8737] H1320 of the flesh H3899 and of the bread H8313 shall ye burn [H8799] H784 with fire.

33 H3318 And ye shall not go out [H8799] H6607 of the door H168 of the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation H7651 in seven H3117 days H3117 , until the days H4394 of your consecration H4390 be at an end [H8800] H7651 : for seven H3117 days H4390 shall he consecrate [H8762] H3027 you.

34 H6213 As he hath done [H8804] H3117 this day H3068 , so the LORD H6680 hath commanded [H8765] H6213 to do [H8800] H3722 , to make an atonement [H8763] for you.

35 H3427 Therefore shall ye abide [H8799] H6607 at the door H168 of the tabernacle H4150 of the congregation H3119 day H3915 and night H7651 seven H3117 days H8104 , and keep [H8804] H4931 the charge H3068 of the LORD H4191 , that ye die [H8799] H6680 not: for so I am commanded [H8795] .

36 H175 So Aaron H1121 and his sons H6213 did [H8799] H1697 all things H3068 which the LORD H6680 commanded [H8765] H3027 by the hand H4872 of Moses.

³ and assemble thou all the congregation at the door of the tent of meeting. ⁴ And Moses did as the LORD commanded him; and the congregation was assembled at the door of the tent of meeting. ⁵ And Moses said unto the congregation, This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded to be done. ⁶ And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water. ⁷ And he put upon him the coat, and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod upon him, and he girded him with the cunningly woven band of the ephod, and bound it unto him therewith. ⁸ And he placed the breastplate upon him: and in the breastplate he put the Urim and the Thummim. ⁹ And he set the mitre upon his head; and upon the mitre, in front, did he set the golden plate, the holy crown; as the LORD commanded Moses. ¹⁰ And Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was therein, and sanctified them. ¹¹ And he sprinkled thereof upon the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all its vessels, and the laver and its base, to sanctify them. ¹² And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron’s head, and anointed him, to sanctify him. ¹³ And Moses brought Aaron’s sons, and clothed them with coats, and girded them with girdles, and bound headtires upon them; as the LORD commanded Moses. ¹⁴ And he brought the bullock of the sin offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the bullock of the sin offering. ¹⁵ And he slew it; and Moses took the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar, and sanctified it, to make atonement for it. ¹⁶ And he took all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the caul of the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and Moses burned it upon the altar. ¹⁷ But the bullock, and its skin, and its flesh, and its dung, he burnt with fire without the camp; as the LORD commanded Moses. ¹⁸ And he presented the ram of the burnt offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram. ¹⁹ And he killed it: and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about. ²⁰ And he cut the ram into its pieces; and Moses burnt the head, and the pieces, and the fat. ²¹ And he washed the inwards and the legs with water; and Moses burnt the whole ram upon the altar: it was a burnt offering for a sweet savour: it was an offering made by fire unto the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses. ²² And he presented the other ram, the ram of consecration: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram. ²³ And he slew it; and Moses took of the blood thereof, and put it upon the tip of Aaron’s right ear, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot. ²⁴ And he brought Aaron’s sons, and Moses put of the blood upon the tip of their right ear, and upon the thumb of their right hand, and upon the great toe of their right foot: and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about. ²⁵ And he took the fat, and the fat tail, and all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the caul of the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and the right thigh: ²⁶ and out of the basket of unleavened bread, that was before the LORD, he took one unleavened cake, and one cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, and placed them on the fat, and upon the right thigh: ²⁷ and he put the whole upon the hands of Aaron, and upon the hands of his sons, and waved them for a wave offering before the LORD. ²⁸ And Moses took them from off their hands, and burnt them on the altar upon the burnt offering: they were a consecration for a sweet savour: it was an offering made by fire unto the LORD. ²⁹ And Moses took the breast, and waved it for a wave offering before the LORD: it was Moses’ portion of the ram of consecration; as the LORD commanded Moses. ³⁰ And Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood which was upon the altar, and sprinkled it upon Aaron, upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon his sons’ garments with him; and sanctified Aaron, his garments, and his sons, and his sons’ garments with him. ³¹ And Moses said unto Aaron and to his sons, Boil the flesh at the door of the tent of meeting: and there eat it and the bread that is in the basket of consecration, as I commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons shall eat it. ³² And that which remaineth of the flesh and of the bread shall ye burn with fire. ³³ And ye shall not go out from the door of the tent of meeting seven days, until the days of your consecration be fulfilled: for he shall consecrate you seven days. ³⁴ As hath been done this day, so the LORD hath commanded to do, to make atonement for you. ³⁵ And at the door of the tent of meeting shall ye abide day and night seven days, and keep the charge of the LORD, that ye die not: for so I am commanded. ³⁶ And Aaron and his sons did all the things which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.
