3 G2532 And G3985 when the tempter [G5723] G4334 came [G5631] G846 to him G2036 , he said [G5627] G1487 , If G1488 thou be [G5748] G5207 the Son G2316 of God G2036 , command [G5628] G2443 that G3778 these G3037 stones G1096 be made [G5638] G740 bread.

4 G1161 But G611 he answered [G5679] G2036 and said [G5627] G1125 , It is written [G5769] G444 , Man G2198 shall G3756 not G2198 live [G5695] G1909 by G740 bread G3441 alone G235 , but G1909 by G3956 every G4487 word G1607 that proceedeth [G5740] G1223 out of G4750 the mouth G2316 of God.

11 G5119 Then G1228 the devil G863 leaveth [G5719] G846 him G2532 , and G2400 , behold [G5628] G32 , angels G4334 came [G5656] G2532 and G1247 ministered [G5707] G846 unto him.

12 G1161 Now G2424 when Jesus G191 had heard [G5660] G3754 that G2491 John G3860 was cast into prison [G5681] G402 , he departed [G5656] G1519 into G1056 Galilee;

17 G575 From G5119 that time G2424 Jesus G756 began [G5662] G2784 to preach [G5721] G2532 , and G3004 to say [G5721] G3340 , Repent [G5720] G1063 : for G932 the kingdom G3772 of heaven G1448 is at hand [G5758] .

18 G1161 And G2424 Jesus G4043 , walking [G5723] G3844 by G2281 the sea G1056 of Galilee G1492 , saw [G5627] G1417 two G80 brethren G4613 , Simon G3004 called [G5746] G4074 Peter G2532 , and G406 Andrew G846 his G80 brother G906 , casting [G5723] G293 a net G1519 into G2281 the sea G1063 : for G2258 they were [G5713] G231 fishers.

19 G2532 And G3004 he saith [G5719] G846 unto them G1205 , Follow [G5773] G3694 G3450 me G2532 , and G4160 I will make [G5692] G5209 you G231 fishers G444 of men.

21 G2532 And G4260 going on [G5631] G1564 from thence G1492 , he saw [G5627] G243 other G1417 two G80 brethren G2385 , James G3588 the son of G2199 Zebedee G2532 , and G2491 John G846 his G80 brother G1722 , in G4143 a ship G3326 with G2199 Zebedee G846 their G3962 father G2675 , mending [G5723] G846 their G1350 nets G2532 ; and G2564 he called [G5656] G846 them.

22 G1161 And G2112 they immediately G863 left [G5631] G4143 the ship G2532 and G846 their G3962 father G190 , and followed [G5656] G846 him.

23 G2532 And G2424 Jesus G4013 went about [G5707] G3650 all G1056 Galilee G1321 , teaching [G5723] G1722 in G846 their G4864 synagogues G2532 , and G2784 preaching [G5723] G2098 the gospel G932 of the kingdom G2532 , and G2323 healing [G5723] G3956 all G3554 manner of sickness G2532 and G3956 all G3119 manner of disease G1722 among G2992 the people.

24 G2532 And G846 his G189 fame G565 went [G5627] G1519 throughout G3650 all G4947 Syria G2532 : and G4374 they brought [G5656] G846 unto him G3956 all G2560 sick G2192 people [G5723] G4912 that were taken with [G5746] G4164 divers G3554 diseases G2532 and G931 torments G2532 , and G1139 those which were possessed with devils [G5740] G2532 , and G4583 those which were lunatick [G5740] G2532 , and G3885 those that had the palsy G2532 ; and G2323 he healed [G5656] G846 them.

25 G2532 And G190 there followed [G5656] G846 him G4183 great G3793 multitudes of people G575 from G1056 Galilee G2532 , and G1179 from Decapolis G2532 , and G2414 from Jerusalem G2532 , and G2449 from Judaea G2532 , and G4008 from beyond G2446 Jordan.
