2 G235 But G2532 even G4310 after that we had suffered before [G5631] G2532 , and G5195 were shamefully entreated [G5685] G2531 , as G1492 ye know [G5758] G1722 , at G5375 Philippi G3955 , we were bold [G5662] G1722 in G2257 our G2316 God G2980 to speak [G5658] G4314 unto G5209 you G2098 the gospel G2316 of God G1722 with G4183 much G73 contention.

3 G1063 For G2257 our G3874 exhortation G3756 was not G1537 of G4106 deceit G3761 , nor G1537 of G167 uncleanness G3777 , nor G1722 in G1388 guile:

4 G235 But G2531 as G1381 we were allowed [G5769] G5259 of G2316 God G4100 to be put in trust [G5683] G2098 with the gospel G3779 , even so G2980 we speak [G5719] G3756 ; not G5613 as G700 pleasing [G5723] G444 men G235 , but G2316 God G1381 , which trieth [G5723] G2257 our G2588 hearts.

15 G2532 Who both G615 killed [G5660] G2962 the Lord G2424 Jesus G2532 , and G2398 their own G4396 prophets G2532 , and G1559 have persecuted [G5660] G2248 us G2532 ; and G700 they please [G5723] G3361 not G2316 God G2532 , and G1727 are contrary G3956 to all G444 men:

16 G2967 Forbidding [G5723] G2248 us G2980 to speak [G5658] G1484 to the Gentiles G2443 that G4982 they might be saved [G5686] G1519 , to G378 fill up [G5658] G846 their G266 sins G3842 alway G1161 : for G3709 the wrath G5348 is come [G5656] G1909 upon G846 them G1519 to G5056 the uttermost.

17 G1161 But G2249 we G80 , brethren G642 , being taken [G5685] G575 from G5216 you G4314 for G5610 a short G2540 time G4383 in presence G3756 , not G2588 in heart G4704 , endeavoured [G5656] G4056 the more abundantly G1492 to see [G5629] G5216 your G4383 face G1722 with G4183 great G1939 desire.

18 G1352 Wherefore G2309 we would [G5656] G2064 have come [G5629] G4314 unto G5209 you G3303 , even G1473 I G3972 Paul G2532 , once G530 G2532 and G1364 again G2532 ; but G4567 Satan G1465 hindered [G5656] G2248 us.

19 G1063 For G5101 what G2257 is our G1680 hope G2228 , or G5479 joy G2228 , or G4735 crown G2746 of rejoicing G2228 ? G3780 Are not G2532 even G5210 ye G1715 in the presence G2257 of our G2962 Lord G2424 Jesus G5547 Christ G1722 at G846 his G3952 coming?
