NSB(i) 8 Asa heard the prophet Oded’s words of prophecy. He was encouraged and put away the detestable idols from all of Judah, Benjamin, and the cities he had captured in the mountains of Ephraim. He also repaired Jehovah’s altar in front of Jehovah’s entrance hall. 9 Then Asa gathered all the people from Judah and Benjamin and the foreigners who had come from Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon. Many of them had come to him from Israel when they saw that Asa’s God, Jehovah, was with him. 10 In the third month of the fifteenth year of Asa’s reign, they gathered in Jerusalem. 11 They sacrificed to Jehovah a part of the loot they brought with them: seven hundred cattle and seven thousand sheep. 12 They made an agreement with one another to dedicate their lives to serve the true God Jehovah, the God of their ancestors with all their heart and all their being. 13 All people, young and old, male and female, who refused to dedicate their lives to the true God Jehovah the God of Israel were to be killed. 14 Asa and the people swore their oath to Jehovah with shouts, singing, and the blowing of trumpets and rams’ horns. 15 All the people of Judah were overjoyed because of the oath. They took the oath wholeheartedly. They took great pleasure in looking for Jehovah. And he let them find him. So Jehovah surrounded them with rest and peace.
ISV(i) 8 Asa Institutes ReformsEncouraged by what Oded’s son Azariah the prophet had said in his prophecy, Asa removed the detestable idols from throughout the entire territories of Judah and Benjamin, and from the cities that he had captured in the hill country of Ephraim. He repaired the LORD’s altar that stood in front of the vestibule of the LORD’s Temple. 9 Then he gathered together all of Judah, Benjamin, and people from Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who were living among them, since many people had defected to him from Israel when they learned that the LORD his God was with him. 10 They all assembled in Jerusalem during the third month of the fifteenth year of Asa’s reign. 11 They sacrificed to the LORD that day 700 oxen and 7,000 sheep from the spoil that they had brought with them. 12 They also entered into a covenant to seek the LORD God of their ancestors with all their heart and soul, 13 and they further agreed that whoever would refuse to seek the LORD God of Israel was to be executed, whether important or unimportant, man or woman. 14 They also made a vow to the LORD with loud voices, shouting, trumpets, and horns. 15 Everybody in Judah was very glad to make their oath, because they had made their vow with all their heart and had sought him with all of their might, and they found him! The LORD also gave them rest in their surrounding lands.

10 I sebrali se do Jeruzaléma třetího měsíce, patnáctého léta kralování Azova, 11 A obětovali Hospodinu v ten den z kořistí přihnaných, volů sedm set a ovcí sedm tisíc.

10 Ja he tulivat Jerusalemiin kokoon kolmantena kuukautena, Asan valtakunnan viidentenä vuonna toistakymmentä.

Indonesian(i) 8 Ketika Asa mendengar perkataan Azarya anak Oded itu, berkobarlah semangatnya.
