This is the south side, on the south. 20 And the west side will be the Great Sea, from the limit on the south to a point opposite the way into Hamath. This is the west side. 21 You will make a division of the land among you, tribe by tribe. 22 And you are to make a distribution of it, by the decision of the Lord, for a heritage to you and to the men from other lands who are living among you and who have children in your land: they will be the same to you as if they were Israelites by birth, they will have their heritage with you among the tribes of Israel. 23 In whatever tribe the man from a strange land is living, there you are to give him his heritage, says the Lord.

These are the eastern coasts. 19 And the southern and southwestern coasts are from Tamar and the city of palm trees, to the water of Meribah Kadesh, reaching forth to the Great Sea. This part is the south and southwest. 20 This part of the great sea forms a border, till one comes opposite the entrance of Hamath, even as far as the entrance thereof. These are the parts west of Hamath. 21 So you shall divide this land to them, even to the tribes of Israel. 22 You shall cast the lot upon it, for yourselves and the strangers that sojourn in the midst of you, who have begotten children in the midst of you; and they shall be to you as natives among the children of Israel; they shall eat with you in their inheritance in the midst of the tribes of Israel. 23 And they shall be in the tribe of proselytes among the proselytes that are with them. This is the west side.« 21 »Divide this land for each of the tribes of Israel. 22 »Divide it by drawing lots. This land will be for you. It will also be for the foreign residents who live among you and have given birth to children while they lived with you. Think of them as Israelites. They will draw lots with you for their inheritance among the tribes of Israel. 23 »Foreign residents will receive their share of the inheritance with the people of the tribe among whom they are living,« declares the Lord Jehovah.
ISV(i) 13 Israel’s Future Borders DelineatedThis is what the Lord GOD says: “This is to be the territorial border by which you apportion the land for an inheritance among the twelve tribes of Israel, with Joseph double-portioned. 14 Apportion it for their inheritances, distributing everything equally as if you were distributing things to your own brother, which is how I promised to give it to your ancestors. This way, the land will fall to you as an inheritance.
15 “This is to be the border for the land: on the north side, from the Mediterranean Sea by the Hethlon Road to the entrance of Zedad, 16 Hamath, Berothah, Sibraim (which lies between the border of Damascus and the border of Hamath), and Hazer-hatticon, which is on the border of Hauran. 17 The border is to proceed from the Mediterranean Sea to Hazer-enan (a border of Damascus), and on the north facing north is to be the border of Hamath. This is to be the north side.
18 “The eastern extremity is to proceed from between Hauran and Damascus, then between Gilead, and then through the land of Israel—the Jordan River. You are to measure from the northern border to the Dead Sea. This is to be the eastern perimeter.
19 “You are to determine the southern extremity running from Tamar as far as the waters of Meribath-kadesh, then from there proceeding to the Wadi, and then to the Mediterranean Sea. This is to be the southern perimeter.
20 “The western perimeter is to be the Mediterranean Sea, from the southernmost border to a location opposite the entrance to Hamath. This is to be the western perimeter.
21 “You are to apportion this land among yourselves according to the tribes of Israel, 22 dividing it by lottery among yourselves and among the foreigners who live among you and bear children among you. You are to treat them like native-born Israelis. Among you they, too, are to be allotted an inheritance with the tribes of Israel. 23 Furthermore, you are to provide the foreigner’s inheritance there in the tribe within which he remains,” declares the Lord GOD.

Arabic(i) 13 هكذا قال السيد الرب. هذا هو التخم الذي به تمتلكون الارض بحسب اسباط اسرائيل الاثني عشر. يوسف قسمان. 14 وتمتلكونها احدكم كصاحبه التي رفعت يدي لاعطي آباءكم اياها وهذه الارض تقع لكم نصيبا. 15 وهذا تخم الارض. نحو الشمال من البحر الكبير طريق حثلون الى المجيء الى صدد 16 حماة وبيروثة وسبرائم التي بين تخم دمشق وتخم حماة وحصر الوسطى التي على تخم حوران. 17 ويكون التخم من البحر حصر عينان تخم دمشق والشمال شمالا وتخم حماة وهذا جانب الشمال. 18 وجانب الشرق بين حوران ودمشق وجلعاد وارض اسرائيل الاردن. من التخم الى البحر الشرقي تقيسون. وهذا جانب المشرق. 19 وجانب الجنوب يمينا من ثامار الى مياه مريبوث قادش النهر الى البحر الكبير وهذا جانب اليمين جنوبا. 20 وجانب الغرب البحر الكبير من التخم الى مقابل مدخل حماة. وهذا جانب الغرب. 21 فتقتسمون هذه الارض لكم لاسباط اسرائيل. 22 ويكون انكم تقسمونها بالقرعة لكم وللغرباء المتغربين في وسطكم الذين يلدون بنين في وسطكم فيكونون لكم كالوطنيين من بني اسرائيل. يقاسمونكم الميراث في وسط اسباط اسرائيل. 23 ويكون انه في السبط الذي فيه يتغرب غريب هناك تعطونه ميراثه يقول السيد الرب
