Deuteronomy 17 You shall not sacrifice to the LORD your God any bullock, or sheep, wherein is blemish, or any bad reputation: for that is an abomination to the LORD your God.

1 H2076 You shall not sacrifice H3068 to the LORD H430 your God H7794 any bullock, H7716 or sheep, H834 wherein H3971 is blemish, H3605 or any H1697 bad reputation: H7451 H8441 for that is an abomination H3068 to the LORD H430 your God.

2 H3588 If H4672 there be found H7130 among H259 you, within any H8179 of your gates H834 which H3068 the LORD H430 your God H5414 gives H376 you, man H802 or woman, H6213 that has worked H7451 wickedness H5869 in the sight H3068 of the LORD H430 your God, H5674 in transgressing H1285 his covenant,

3 H3212 And has gone H5647 and served H312 other H430 gods, H7812 and worshipped H8121 them, either the sun, H176 or H3394 moon, H176 or H3605 any H6635 of the host H8064 of heaven, H834 which H6680 I have not commanded;

4 H5046 And it be told H8085 you, and you have heard H1875 of it, and inquired H3190 diligently, H2009 and, behold, H571 it be true, H1697 and the thing H3559 certain, H2063 that such H8441 abomination H6213 is worked H3478 in Israel:

5 H3318 Then shall you bring H3318 forth H376 that man H176 or H802 that woman, H834 which H6213 have committed H7451 that wicked H1697 thing, H8179 to your gates, H376 even that man H176 or H802 that woman, H5619 and shall stone H68 them with stones, H4191 till they die.

6 H5921 At H6310 the mouth H8147 of two H5707 witnesses, H176 or H7969 three H5707 witnesses, H4191 shall he that is worthy of death H4191 be put to death; H5921 but at H6310 the mouth H259 of one H5707 witness H4191 he shall not be put to death.

7 H3027 The hands H5707 of the witnesses H7223 shall be first H4191 on him to put him to death, H314 and afterward H3027 the hands H3605 of all H5971 the people. H1197 So you shall put H7451 the evil H1197 away H7130 from among you.

8 H3588 If H1697 there arise a matter H6381 too hard H4941 for you in judgment, H996 between H1818 blood H1818 and blood, H996 between H1779 plea H1779 and plea, H996 and between H5061 stroke H5061 and stroke, H1697 being matters H7379 of controversy H8179 within your gates: H6965 then shall you arise, H5927 and get H413 you up into H4725 the place H834 which H3068 the LORD H430 your God H977 shall choose;

9 H935 And you shall come H3548 to the priests H3881 the Levites, H8199 and to the judge H1992 that shall be in those H3117 days, H1875 and inquire; H5046 and they shall show H1697 you the sentence H4941 of judgment:

10 H6213 And you shall do H5921 according H6310 H1697 to the sentence, H834 which H4725 they of that place H834 which H3068 the LORD H977 shall choose H5046 shall show H8104 you; and you shall observe H6213 to do H3605 according to all H3384 that they inform you:

11 H5921 According H6310 to the sentence H8451 of the law H834 which H3384 they shall teach H5921 you, and according H4941 to the judgment H834 which H559 they shall tell H6213 you, you shall do: H5493 you shall not decline H1697 from the sentence H834 which H5046 they shall show H3225 you, to the right H3225 hand, H8040 nor to the left.

12 H376 And the man H6213 that will do H2087 presumptuously, H8085 and will not listen H3548 to the priest H5975 that stands H8334 to minister H8033 there H854 before H3068 the LORD H430 your God, H176 or H8199 to the judge, H376 even that man H4191 shall die: H1197 and you shall put H1197 away H7451 the evil H3478 from Israel.

13 H3605 And all H5971 the people H8085 shall hear, H3372 and fear, H3808 and do no H5750 more H2102 presumptuously.

14 H3588 When H935 you are come H776 to the land H834 which H3068 the LORD H430 your God H5414 gives H3423 you, and shall possess H3427 it, and shall dwell H559 therein, and shall say, H7760 I will set H4428 a king H5921 over H3605 me, like as all H1471 the nations H5439 that are about me;

15 H7760 You shall in any wise set H4428 him king H5921 over H834 you, whom H3068 the LORD H430 your God H977 shall choose: H7130 one from among H251 your brothers H7760 shall you set H4428 king H5921 over H3021 you: you may H5414 not set H376 a stranger H5237 H5921 over H834 you, which H251 is not your brother.

16 H7235 But he shall not multiply H5483 horses H3808 to himself, nor H5971 cause the people H7725 to return H4714 to Egypt, H4616 to the end H7235 that he should multiply H5483 horses: H3068 for as much as the LORD H559 has said H3254 to you, You shall from now on H7725 return H3808 no H5750 more H1870 that way.

17 H3808 Neither H7235 shall he multiply H802 wives H3824 to himself, that his heart H5493 turn H3808 not away: neither H3966 shall he greatly H7235 multiply H3701 to himself silver H2091 and gold.

18 H3427 And it shall be, when he sits H3678 on the throne H4467 of his kingdom, H3789 that he shall write H4932 him a copy H2063 of this H8451 law H5612 in a book H6440 out of that which is before H3548 the priests H3881 the Levites:

19 H7121 And it shall be with him, and he shall read H3605 therein all H3117 the days H2416 of his life: H3925 that he may learn H3372 to fear H3068 the LORD H430 his God, H8104 to keep H3605 all H1697 the words H2063 of this H8451 law H428 and these H2706 statutes, H6213 to do them:

20 H3824 That his heart H7311 be not lifted H251 up above his brothers, H5493 and that he turn H4687 not aside from the commandment, H3225 to the right H3225 hand, H8040 or to the left: H4616 to the end H748 that he may prolong H3117 his days H4467 in his kingdom, H1121 he, and his children, H7130 in the middle H3478 of Israel.
