Jeremiah 25

  1 H1697 The word H1961 that came H3414 to Jeremiah H5921 concerning H3605 all H5971 the people H3063 of Judah H7243 in the fourth H8141 year H3079 of Jehoiakim H1121 the son H2977 of Josiah H4428 king H3063 of Judah, H7224 that was the first H8141 year H5019 of Nebuchadrezzar H4428 king H894 of Babylon;
  2 H834 The which H3414 Jeremiah H5030 the prophet H1696 spoke H3605 to all H5971 the people H3063 of Judah, H3605 and to all H3427 the inhabitants H3389 of Jerusalem, H559 saying,
  3 H7969 From the thirteenth H6240 H8141 year H2977 of Josiah H1121 the son H526 of Amon H4428 king H3063 of Judah, H2088 even to this H3117 day, H7969 that is the three H6242 and twentieth H8141 year, H1697 the word H3068 of the LORD H1961 has come H1696 to me, and I have spoken H7925 to you, rising H7925 early H1696 and speaking; H8085 but you have not listened.
  4 H3068 And the LORD H7971 has sent H3605 to you all H5650 his servants H5030 the prophets, H7925 rising H7925 early H7971 and sending H8085 them; but you have not listened, H3808 nor H5186 inclined H241 your ear H8085 to hear.
  5 H559 They said, H7725 Turn H7725 you again H4994 now H376 every H376 one H7451 from his evil H1870 way, H7455 and from the evil H4611 of your doings, H3427 and dwell H127 in the land H3068 that the LORD H5414 has given H1 to you and to your fathers H5769 for ever H5769 and ever:
  6 H3212 And go H310 not after H312 other H430 gods H5647 to serve H7812 them, and to worship H3707 them, and provoke me not to anger H4639 with the works H3027 of your hands; H3808 and I will do you no H7489 hurt.
  7 H8085 Yet you have not listened H5002 to me, said H3068 the LORD; H3707 that you might provoke me to anger H4639 with the works H3027 of your hands H7451 to your own hurt.
  8 H3651 Therefore H3541 thus H559 said H3068 the LORD H6635 of hosts; H3282 Because H834 H8085 you have not heard H1697 my words,
  9 H2005 Behold, H7971 I will send H3947 and take H3605 all H4940 the families H6828 of the north, H5002 said H3068 the LORD, H5019 and Nebuchadrezzar H4428 the king H894 of Babylon, H5650 my servant, H935 and will bring H5921 them against H2063 this H776 land, H5921 and against H3427 the inhabitants H5921 thereof, and against H3605 all H428 these H1471 nations H5439 round H2763 about, and will utterly destroy H7760 them, and make H8047 them an astonishment, H8322 and an hissing, H5769 and perpetual H2723 desolations.
  10 H6 Moreover I will take H6963 from them the voice H8342 of mirth, H6963 and the voice H8057 of gladness, H6963 the voice H2860 of the bridegroom, H6963 and the voice H3618 of the bride, H6963 the sound H7347 of the millstones, H216 and the light H5216 of the candle.
  11 H2063 And this H3605 whole H776 land H2723 shall be a desolation, H8047 and an astonishment; H428 and these H1471 nations H5647 shall serve H4428 the king H894 of Babylon H7657 seventy H8141 years.
  12 H1961 And it shall come H7657 to pass, when seventy H8141 years H4390 are accomplished, H6485 that I will punish H4428 the king H894 of Babylon, H1471 and that nation, H5002 said H3068 the LORD, H5771 for their iniquity, H776 and the land H3778 of the Chaldeans, H7760 and will make H5769 it perpetual H8077 desolations.
  13 H935 And I will bring H776 on that land H3605 all H1697 my words H834 which H1696 I have pronounced H5921 against H3605 it, even all H3789 that is written H2088 in this H5612 book, H834 which H3414 Jeremiah H5012 has prophesied H5921 against H3605 all H1471 the nations.
  14 H7227 For many H1471 nations H1419 and great H4428 kings H5647 shall serve H1571 themselves of them also: H7999 and I will recompense H6467 them according to their deeds, H4639 and according to the works H3027 of their own hands.
  15 H3541 For thus H559 said H3068 the LORD H430 God H3478 of Israel H3947 to me; Take H3196 the wine H3563 cup H2063 of this H2534 fury H3027 at my hand, H3605 and cause all H1471 the nations, H834 to whom H413 H7971 I send H8248 you, to drink it.
  16 H8354 And they shall drink, H1607 and be moved, H1984 and be mad, H6440 because H2719 of the sword H7971 that I will send H996 among them.
  17 H3947 Then took H3563 I the cup H3068 at the LORD’s H3027 hand, H3605 and made all H1471 the nations H8248 to drink, H834 to whom H413 H3068 the LORD H7971 had sent me:
  18 H3389 To wit, Jerusalem, H5892 and the cities H3063 of Judah, H4428 and the kings H8269 thereof, and the princes H5414 thereof, to make H2723 them a desolation, H8047 an astonishment, H8322 an hissing, H7045 and a curse; H2088 as it is this H3117 day;
  19 H6547 Pharaoh H4428 king H4714 of Egypt, H5650 and his servants, H8269 and his princes, H3605 and all H5971 his people;
  20 H3605 And all H6154 the mingled H3605 people, and all H4428 the kings H776 of the land H5780 of Uz, H3605 and all H4428 the kings H776 of the land H6430 of the Philistines, H831 and Ashkelon, H5804 and Azzah, H6138 and Ekron, H7611 and the remnant H795 of Ashdod,
  21 H123 Edom, H4124 and Moab, H1121 and the children H5983 of Ammon,
  22 H3605 And all H4428 the kings H6865 of Tyrus, H3605 and all H4428 the kings H6721 of Zidon, H4428 and the kings H339 of the isles H834 which H5676 are beyond H3220 the sea,
  23 H1719 Dedan, H8485 and Tema, H938 and Buz, H3605 and all H7112 that are in the utmost H6285 corners,
  24 H3605 And all H4428 the kings H6152 of Arabia, H3605 and all H4428 the kings H6154 of the mingled H7931 people that dwell H4057 in the desert,
  25 H3605 And all H4428 the kings H2174 of Zimri, H3605 and all H4428 the kings H5867 of Elam, H3605 and all H4428 the kings H4074 of the Medes,
  26 H3605 And all H4428 the kings H6828 of the north, H7350 far H7138 and near, H376 one H251 with another, H3605 and all H4467 the kingdoms H776 of the world, H834 which H6440 are on the face H127 of the earth: H4428 and the king H8347 of Sheshach H8354 shall drink H310 after them.
  27 H559 Therefore you shall say H3541 to them, Thus H559 said H3068 the LORD H6635 of hosts, H430 the God H3478 of Israel; H8354 Drink H7937 you, and be drunken, H7006 and spew, H5307 and fall, H6965 and rise H3808 no H6440 more, because H2719 of the sword H834 which H7971 I will send H996 among you.
  28 H3985 And it shall be, if they refuse H3947 to take H3563 the cup H3027 at your hand H8354 to drink, H559 then shall you say H3541 to them, Thus H559 said H3068 the LORD H6635 of hosts; H8354 You shall certainly drink.
  29 H2009 For, see, H2490 I begin H7489 to bring evil H5892 on the city H834 which H7121 is called H8034 by my name, H5352 and should you be utterly unpunished? H5352 You shall not be unpunished: H7121 for I will call H2719 for a sword H3605 on all H3427 the inhabitants H776 of the earth, H5002 said H3068 the LORD H6635 of hosts.
  30 H5012 Therefore prophesy H413 you against H3605 them all H428 these H1697 words, H559 and say H3068 to them, The LORD H7580 shall roar H4791 from on high, H5414 and utter H6963 his voice H6944 from his holy H4583 habitation; H7580 he shall mightily roar H5116 on his habitation; H6030 he shall give a shout, H1959 H1869 as they that tread H413 the grapes, against H3605 all H3427 the inhabitants H776 of the earth.
  31 H7588 A noise H935 shall come H7097 even to the ends H776 of the earth; H3068 for the LORD H7379 has a controversy H1471 with the nations, H8199 he will plead H3605 with all H1320 flesh; H5414 he will give H7563 them that are wicked H2719 to the sword, H5002 said H3068 the LORD.
  32 H3541 Thus H559 said H3068 the LORD H6635 of hosts, H2009 Behold, H7451 evil H3318 shall go H3318 forth H1471 from nation H1471 to nation, H1419 and a great H5591 whirlwind H5782 shall be raised H3411 up from the coasts H776 of the earth.
  33 H2491 And the slain H3068 of the LORD H3117 shall be at that day H7097 from one end H776 of the earth H7097 even to the other end H776 of the earth: H5594 they shall not be lamented, H3808 neither H622 gathered, H3808 nor H6912 buried; H1828 they shall be dung H127 on the ground.
  34 H3213 Howl, H7462 you shepherds, H2199 and cry; H6428 and wallow H117 yourselves in the ashes, you principal H6629 of the flock: H3117 for the days H2873 of your slaughter H8600 and of your dispersions H4390 are accomplished; H5307 and you shall fall H2532 like a pleasant H3627 vessel.
  35 H7462 And the shepherds H4480 shall have no H4498 way H4498 to flee, H117 nor the principal H6629 of the flock H6413 to escape.
  36 H6963 A voice H6818 of the cry H7462 of the shepherds, H3213 and an howling H117 of the principal H6629 of the flock, H8085 shall be heard: H3068 for the LORD H7703 has spoiled H4830 their pasture.
  37 H7965 And the peaceable H4999 habitations H1826 are cut H6440 down because H2740 of the fierce H639 anger H3068 of the LORD.
  38 H5800 He has forsaken H5520 his covert, H3715 as the lion: H776 for their land H8047 is desolate H6440 because H2740 of the fierceness H3238 of the oppressor, H6440 and because H2740 of his fierce H639 anger.
