Exodus 20 וידבר spoke אלהים And God את כל all הדברים words, האלה these לאמר׃ saying,

1 H1696 וידבר spoke H430 אלהים And God H853 את H3605 כל all H1697 הדברים words, H428 האלה these H559 לאמר׃ saying,

2 H595 אנכי I H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God, H834 אשׁר which H3318 הוצאתיך have brought thee out H776 מארץ of the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H1004 מבית out of the house H5650 עבדים׃ of bondage.

3 H3808 לא no H1961 יהיה Thou shalt have H430 לך אלהים gods H312 אחרים other H5921 על before H6440 פני׃ before

4 H3808 לא Thou shalt not H6213 תעשׂה make H6459 לך פסל unto thee any graven image, H3605 וכל or any H8544 תמונה likeness H834 אשׁר that H8064 בשׁמים in heaven H4605 ממעל above, H834 ואשׁר or that H776 בארץ in the earth H8478 מתחת beneath, H834 ואשׁר or that H4325 במים in the water H8478 מתחת under H776 לארץ׃ the earth:

5 H3808 לא Thou shalt not H7812 תשׁתחוה bow down thyself H3808 להם ולא to them, nor H5647 תעבדם serve H3588 כי them: for H595 אנכי I H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H410 אל God, H7067 קנא a jealous H6485 פקד visiting H5771 עון the iniquity H1 אבת of the fathers H5921 על upon H1121 בנים the children H5921 על unto H8029 שׁלשׁים the third H5921 ועל H7256 רבעים and fourth H8130 לשׂנאי׃ of them that hate

6 H6213 ועשׂה And showing H2617 חסד mercy H505 לאלפים unto thousands H157 לאהבי of them that love H8104 ולשׁמרי me, and keep H4687 מצותי׃ my commandments.

7 H3808 לא Thou shalt not H5375 תשׂא take H853 את H8034 שׁם the name H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H7723 לשׁוא in vain; H3588 כי for H3808 לא will not H5352 ינקה hold him guiltless H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 את H834 אשׁר that H5375 ישׂא taketh H853 את H8034 שׁמו his name H7723 לשׁוא׃ in vain.

8 H2142 זכור Remember H853 את H3117 יום day, H7676 השׁבת the sabbath H6942 לקדשׁו׃ to keep it holy.

9 H8337 שׁשׁת Six H3117 ימים days H5647 תעבד shalt thou labor, H6213 ועשׂית and do H3605 כל all H4399 מלאכתך׃ thy work:

10 H3117 ויום day H7637 השׁביעי But the seventh H7676 שׁבת the sabbath H3068 ליהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God: H3808 לא thou shalt not H6213 תעשׂה do H3605 כל any H4399 מלאכה work, H859 אתה thou, H1121 ובנך nor thy son, H1323 ובתך nor thy daughter, H5650 עבדך thy manservant, H519 ואמתך nor thy maidservant, H929 ובהמתך nor thy cattle, H1616 וגרך nor thy stranger H834 אשׁר that H8179 בשׁעריך׃ within thy gates:

11 H3588 כי For H8337 שׁשׁת six H3117 ימים days H6213 עשׂה made H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 את H8064 השׁמים heaven H853 ואת H776 הארץ and earth, H853 את H3220 הים the sea, H853 ואת H3605 כל and all H834 אשׁר that H5117 בם וינח in them and rested H3117 ביום day: H7637 השׁביעי the seventh H5921 על wherefore H3651 כן wherefore H1288 ברך blessed H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 את H3117 יום day, H7676 השׁבת the sabbath H6942 ויקדשׁהו׃ and hallowed

12 H3513 כבד Honor H853 את H1 אביך thy father H853 ואת H517 אמך and thy mother: H4616 למען that H748 יארכון may be long H3117 ימיך thy days H5921 על upon H127 האדמה the land H834 אשׁר which H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H5414 נתן׃ giveth

13 H3808 לא Thou shalt not H7523 תרצח׃ kill.

14 H3808 לא Thou shalt not H5003 תנאף׃ commit adultery.

15 H3808 לא Thou shalt not H1589 תגנב׃ steal.

16 H3808 לא Thou shalt not H6030 תענה bear H7453 ברעך against thy neighbor. H5707 עד witness H8267 שׁקר׃ false

17 H3808 לא Thou shalt not H2530 תחמד covet H1004 בית house, H7453 רעך thy neighbor's H3808 לא thou shalt not H2530 תחמד covet H802 אשׁת wife, H7453 רעך thy neighbor's H5650 ועבדו nor his manservant, H519 ואמתו nor his maidservant, H7794 ושׁורו nor his ox, H2543 וחמרו nor his ass, H3605 וכל nor any thing H834 אשׁר that H7453 לרעך׃ thy neighbor's.

18 H3605 וכל And all H5971 העם the people H7200 ראים saw H853 את H6963 הקולת the thunderings, H853 ואת H3940 הלפידם and the lightnings, H853 ואת H6963 קול and the noise H7782 השׁפר of the trumpet, H853 ואת H2022 ההר and the mountain H6226 עשׁן smoking: H7200 וירא saw H5971 העם and when the people H5128 וינעו they removed, H5975 ויעמדו and stood H7350 מרחק׃ afar off.

19 H559 ויאמרו And they said H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses, H1696 דבר Speak H859 אתה thou H5973 עמנו with H8085 ונשׁמעה us, and we will hear: H408 ואל but let not H1696 ידבר speak H5973 עמנו with H430 אלהים God H6435 פן us, lest H4191 נמות׃ we die.

20 H559 ויאמר said H4872 משׁה And Moses H413 אל unto H5971 העם the people, H408 אל not: H3372 תיראו Fear H3588 כי for H5668 לבעבור to H5254 נסות prove H853 אתכם H935 בא is come H430 האלהים God H5668 ובעבור you, and that H1961 תהיה may be H3374 יראתו his fear H5921 על before H6440 פניכם your faces, H1115 לבלתי not. H2398 תחטאו׃ that ye sin

21 H5975 ויעמד stood H5971 העם And the people H7350 מרחק afar off, H4872 ומשׁה and Moses H5066 נגשׁ drew near H413 אל unto H6205 הערפל the thick darkness H834 אשׁר where H8033 שׁם where H430 האלהים׃ God

22 H559 ויאמר said H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses, H3541 כה Thus H559 תאמר thou shalt say H413 אל unto H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H859 אתם Ye H7200 ראיתם have seen H3588 כי that H4480 מן you from H8064 השׁמים heaven. H1696 דברתי I have talked H5973 עמכם׃ with

23 H3808 לא Ye shall not H6213 תעשׂון make H854 אתי with H430 אלהי me gods H3701 כסף of silver, H430 ואלהי unto you gods H2091 זהב of gold. H3808 לא neither H6213 תעשׂו׃ shall ye make

24 H4196 מזבח An altar H127 אדמה of earth H6213 תעשׂה thou shalt make H2076 לי וזבחת unto me, and shalt sacrifice H5921 עליו thereon H853 את H5930 עלתיך thy burnt offerings, H853 ואת H8002 שׁלמיך and thy peace offerings, H853 את H6629 צאנך thy sheep, H853 ואת H1241 בקרך and thine oxen: H3605 בכל in all H4725 המקום places H834 אשׁר where H2142 אזכיר I record H853 את H8034 שׁמי my name H935 אבוא I will come H413 אליך unto H1288 וברכתיך׃ thee, and I will bless

25 H518 ואם And if H4196 מזבח me an altar H68 אבנים of stone, H6213 תעשׂה thou wilt make H3808 לי לא thou shalt not H1129 תבנה build H853 אתהן H1496 גזית it of hewn stone: H3588 כי for H2719 חרבך thy tool H5130 הנפת if thou lift up H5921 עליה upon H2490 ותחללה׃ it, thou hast polluted

26 H3808 ולא Neither H5927 תעלה shalt thou go up H4609 במעלת by steps H5921 על unto H4196 מזבחי mine altar, H834 אשׁר that H3808 לא be not H1540 תגלה discovered H6172 ערותך thy nakedness H5921 עליו׃ thereon.
