Exodus 19 בחדשׁ month, השׁלישׁי In the third לצאת were gone forth בני when the children ישׂראל of Israel מארץ out of the land מצרים of Egypt, ביום day הזה the same באו came מדבר they the wilderness סיני׃ of Sinai.

1 H2320 בחדשׁ month, H7992 השׁלישׁי In the third H3318 לצאת were gone forth H1121 בני when the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H776 מארץ out of the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H3117 ביום day H2088 הזה the same H935 באו came H4057 מדבר they the wilderness H5514 סיני׃ of Sinai.

2 H5265 ויסעו For they were departed H7508 מרפידים H935 ויבאו and were come H4057 מדבר the desert H5514 סיני of Sinai, H2583 ויחנו and had pitched H4057 במדבר in the wilderness; H2583 ויחן camped H8033 שׁם and there H3478 ישׂראל Israel H5048 נגד before H2022 ההר׃ the mount.

3 H4872 ומשׁה And Moses H5927 עלה went up H413 אל unto H430 האלהים God, H7121 ויקרא called H413 אליו unto H3068 יהוה and the LORD H4480 מן him out of H2022 ההר the mountain, H559 לאמר saying, H3541 כה Thus H559 תאמר shalt thou say H1004 לבית to the house H3290 יעקב of Jacob, H5046 ותגיד and tell H1121 לבני the children H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel;

4 H859 אתם Ye H7200 ראיתם have seen H834 אשׁר what H6213 עשׂיתי I did H4713 למצרים H5375 ואשׂא and I bore H853 אתכם H5921 על you on H3671 כנפי wings, H5404 נשׁרים eagles' H935 ואבא and brought H853 אתכם H413 אלי׃ you unto

5 H6258 ועתה Now H518 אם therefore, if H8085 שׁמוע ye will obey my voice indeed, H8085 תשׁמעו H6963 בקלי H8104 ושׁמרתם and keep H853 את H1285 בריתי my covenant, H1961 והייתם then ye shall be H5459 לי סגלה a peculiar treasure H3605 מכל unto me above all H5971 העמים people: H3588 כי for H3605 לי כל all H776 הארץ׃ the earth

6 H859 ואתם And ye H1961 תהיו shall be H4467 לי ממלכת unto me a kingdom H3548 כהנים of priests, H1471 וגוי nation. H6918 קדושׁ and a holy H428 אלה These H1697 הדברים the words H834 אשׁר which H1696 תדבר thou shalt speak H413 אל unto H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

7 H935 ויבא came H4872 משׁה And Moses H7121 ויקרא and called H2205 לזקני for the elders H5971 העם of the people, H7760 וישׂם and laid H6440 לפניהם before their faces H853 את H3605 כל all H1697 הדברים words H428 האלה these H834 אשׁר which H6680 צוהו commanded H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD

8 H6030 ויענו answered H3605 כל And all H5971 העם the people H3162 יחדו together, H559 ויאמרו and said, H3605 כל All H834 אשׁר that H1696 דבר hath spoken H3068 יהוה the LORD H6213 נעשׂה we will do. H7725 וישׁב returned H4872 משׁה And Moses H853 את H1697 דברי the words H5971 העם of the people H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

9 H559 ויאמר said H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses, H2009 הנה Lo, H595 אנכי I H935 בא come H413 אליך unto H5645 בעב thee in a thick H6051 הענן cloud, H5668 בעבור that H8085 ישׁמע may hear H5971 העם the people H1696 בדברי when I speak H5973 עמך with H1571 וגם H539 בך יאמינו thee, and believe H5769 לעולם thee forever. H5046 ויגד told H4872 משׁה And Moses H853 את H1697 דברי the words H5971 העם of the people H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

10 H559 ויאמר said H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses, H1980 לך Go H413 אל unto H5971 העם the people, H6942 וקדשׁתם and sanctify H3117 היום them today H4279 ומחר and tomorrow, H3526 וכבסו and let them wash H8071 שׂמלתם׃ their clothes,

11 H1961 והיו And be H3559 נכנים ready H3117 ליום day: H7992 השׁלישׁי against the third H3588 כי for H3117 ביום day H7992 השׁלשׁי the third H3381 ירד will come down H3068 יהוה the LORD H5869 לעיני in the sight H3605 כל of all H5971 העם the people H5921 על upon H2022 הר mount H5514 סיני׃ Sinai.

12 H1379 והגבלת And thou shalt set bounds H853 את H5971 העם unto the people H5439 סביב round about, H559 לאמר saying, H8104 השׁמרו Take heed H5927 לכם עלות to yourselves, go up H2022 בהר into the mount, H5060 ונגע or touch H7097 בקצהו the border H3605 כל of it: whosoever H5060 הנגע toucheth H2022 בהר the mount H4191 מות shall be surely put to death: H4191 יומת׃ shall be surely put to death:

13 H3808 לא There shall not H5060 תגע touch H3027 בו יד a hand H3588 כי it, but H5619 סקול he shall surely be stoned, H5619 יסקל he shall surely be stoned, H176 או or H3384 ירה shot through; H3384 יירה shot through; H518 אם whether H929 בהמה beast H518 אם or H376 אישׁ man, H3808 לא it shall not H2421 יחיה live: H4900 במשׁך soundeth long, H3104 היבל when the trumpet H1992 המה they H5927 יעלו shall come up H2022 בהר׃ to the mount.

14 H3381 וירד went down H4872 משׁה And Moses H4480 מן from H2022 ההר the mount H413 אל unto H5971 העם the people, H6942 ויקדשׁ and sanctified H853 את H5971 העם the people; H3526 ויכבסו and they washed H8071 שׂמלתם׃ their clothes.

15 H559 ויאמר And he said H413 אל unto H5971 העם the people, H1961 היו Be H3559 נכנים ready H7969 לשׁלשׁת against the third H3117 ימים day: H408 אל not H5066 תגשׁו come H413 אל at H802 אשׁה׃ wives.

16 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H3117 ביום day H7992 השׁלישׁי on the third H1961 בהית that there were H1242 הבקר in the morning, H1961 ויהי H6963 קלת thunders H1300 וברקים and lightnings, H6051 וענן cloud H3515 כבד and a thick H5921 על upon H2022 ההר the mount, H6963 וקל and the voice H7782 שׁפר of the trumpet H2389 חזק loud; H3966 מאד exceeding H2729 ויחרד trembled. H3605 כל so that all H5971 העם the people H834 אשׁר that H4264 במחנה׃ in the camp

17 H3318 ויוצא brought forth H4872 משׁה And Moses H853 את H5971 העם the people H7125 לקראת to meet H430 האלהים with God; H4480 מן out of H4264 המחנה the camp H3320 ויתיצבו and they stood H8482 בתחתית at the nether part H2022 ההר׃ of the mount.

18 H2022 והר And mount H5514 סיני Sinai H6225 עשׁן on a smoke, H3605 כלו was altogether H6440 מפני H834 אשׁר H3381 ירד descended H5921 עליו upon H3068 יהוה the LORD H784 באשׁ it in fire: H5927 ויעל thereof ascended H6227 עשׁנו and the smoke H6227 כעשׁן as the smoke H3536 הכבשׁן of a furnace, H2729 ויחרד quaked H3605 כל and the whole H2022 ההר mount H3966 מאד׃ greatly.

19 H1961 ויהי And when H6963 קול the voice H7782 השׁפר of the trumpet H1980 הולך sounded long, H2390 וחזק H3966 מאד and waxed louder and louder, H4872 משׁה Moses H1696 ידבר spoke, H430 והאלהים and God H6030 יעננו answered H6963 בקול׃ him by a voice.

20 H3381 וירד came down H3068 יהוה And the LORD H5921 על upon H2022 הר mount H5514 סיני Sinai, H413 אל on H7218 ראשׁ the top H2022 ההר of the mount: H7121 ויקרא called H3068 יהוה and the LORD H4872 למשׁה Moses H413 אל to H7218 ראשׁ the top H2022 ההר of the mount; H5927 ויעל went up. H4872 משׁה׃ and Moses

21 H559 ויאמר said H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses, H3381 רד Go down, H5749 העד charge H5971 בעם the people, H6435 פן lest H2040 יהרסו they break through H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD H7200 לראות to gaze, H5307 ונפל them perish. H4480 ממנו of H7227 רב׃ and many

22 H1571 וגם also, H3548 הכהנים And let the priests H5066 הנגשׁים which come near H413 אל to H3068 יהוה the LORD, H6942 יתקדשׁו sanctify themselves, H6435 פן lest H6555 יפרץ break forth H3068 בהם יהוה׃ the LORD

23 H559 ויאמר said H4872 משׁה And Moses H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD, H3808 לא cannot H3201 יוכל cannot H5971 העם The people H5927 לעלת come up H413 אל to H2022 הר mount H5514 סיני Sinai: H3588 כי for H859 אתה thou H5749 העדתה chargedst H559 בנו לאמר us, saying, H1379 הגבל Set bounds H853 את H2022 ההר about the mount, H6942 וקדשׁתו׃ and sanctify

24 H559 ויאמר said H413 אליו unto H3068 יהוה And the LORD H1980 לך him, Away, H3381 רד get thee down, H5927 ועלית and thou shalt come up, H859 אתה thou, H175 ואהרן and Aaron H5973 עמך with H3548 והכהנים the priests H5971 והעם and the people H408 אל thee: but let not H2040 יהרסו break through H5927 לעלת to come up H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD, H6435 פן lest H6555 יפרץ׃ he break forth

25 H3381 וירד went down H4872 משׁה So Moses H413 אל unto H5971 העם the people, H559 ויאמר and spoke H413 אלהם׃ unto
