  2 H5358 נקם   H5360 נקמת   H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H853 מאת   H4084 המדינים the Midianites: H310 אחר afterward H622 תאסף shalt thou be gathered H413 אל unto H5971 עמיך׃ thy people.
  3 H1696 וידבר spoke H4872 משׁה And Moses H413 אל unto H5971 העם the people, H559 לאמר saying, H2502 החלצו Arm H853 מאתכם   H376 אנשׁים some H6635 לצבא unto the war, H1961 ויהיו and let them go H5921 על against H4080 מדין the Midianites, H5414 לתת and avenge H5360 נקמת and avenge H3068 יהוה the LORD H4080 במדין׃ of Midian.
  4 H505 אלף   H4294 למטה the tribes H505 אלף   H4294 למטה   H3605 לכל throughout all H4294 מטות   H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H7971 תשׁלחו shall ye send H6635 לצבא׃ to the war.
  5 H4560 וימסרו So there were delivered H505 מאלפי out of the thousands H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H505 אלף a thousand H4294 למטה of tribe, H8147 שׁנים twelve H6240 עשׂר twelve H505 אלף thousand H2502 חלוצי armed H6635 צבא׃ for war.
  6 H7971 וישׁלח sent H853 אתם   H4872 משׁה And Moses H505 אלף a thousand H4294 למטה of tribe H6635 לצבא them to the war, H853 אתם   H853 ואת   H6372 פינחס them, and Phinehas H1121 בן the son H499 אלעזר of Eleazar H3548 הכהן the priest, H6635 לצבא to the war, H3627 וכלי instruments, H6944 הקדשׁ with the holy H2689 וחצצרות and the trumpets H8643 התרועה to blow H3027 בידו׃ in his hand.
  7 H6633 ויצבאו And they warred H5921 על against H4080 מדין the Midianites, H834 כאשׁר as H6680 צוה commanded H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 את   H4872 משׁה Moses; H2026 ויהרגו and they slew H3605 כל all H2145 זכר׃ the males.
  8 H853 ואת   H4428 מלכי the kings H4080 מדין of Midian, H2026 הרגו And they slew H5921 על beside H2491 חלליהם the rest of them that were slain; H853 את   H189 אוי Evi, H853 ואת   H7552 רקם and Rekem, H853 ואת   H6698 צור and Zur, H853 ואת   H2354 חור and Hur, H853 ואת   H7254 רבע and Reba, H2568 חמשׁת five H4428 מלכי kings H4080 מדין of Midian: H853 ואת   H1109 בלעם Balaam H1121 בן also the son H1160 בעור of Beor H2026 הרגו they slew H2719 בחרב׃ with the sword.
  9 H7617 וישׁבו captives, H1121 בני And the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H853 את   H802 נשׁי took the women H4080 מדין of Midian H853 ואת   H2945 טפם and their little ones, H853 ואת   H3605 כל of all H929 בהמתם their cattle, H853 ואת   H3605 כל and all H4735 מקנהם their flocks, H853 ואת   H3605 כל and all H2428 חילם their goods. H962 בזזו׃ and took the spoil
  10 H853 ואת   H3605 כל all H5892 עריהם their cities H4186 במושׁבתם wherein they dwelt, H853 ואת   H3605 כל and all H2918 טירתם their goodly castles, H8313 שׂרפו And they burnt H784 באשׁ׃ with fire.
  11 H3947 ויקחו And they took H853 את   H3605 כל all H7998 השׁלל the spoil, H853 ואת   H3605 כל and all H4455 המלקוח the prey, H120 באדם of men H929 ובבהמה׃ and of beasts.
  12 H935 ויבאו And they brought H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses, H413 ואל and unto H499 אלעזר and Eleazar H3548 הכהן the priest, H413 ואל unto H5712 עדת the congregation H1121 בני of the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H853 את   H7628 השׁבי the captives, H853 ואת   H4455 המלקוח and the prey, H853 ואת   H7998 השׁלל and the spoil, H413 אל at H4264 המחנה the camp H413 אל   H6160 ערבת the plains H4124 מואב of Moab, H834 אשׁר which H5921 על by H3383 ירדן Jordan H3405 ירחו׃ Jericho.
  13 H3318 ויצאו went forth H4872 משׁה And Moses, H499 ואלעזר and Eleazar H3548 הכהן the priest, H3605 וכל and all H5387 נשׂיאי the princes H5712 העדה of the congregation, H7125 לקראתם to meet H413 אל them without H2351 מחוץ   H4264 למחנה׃ the camp.
  14 H7107 ויקצף was wroth H4872 משׁה And Moses H5921 על with H6485 פקודי the officers H2428 החיל of the host, H8269 שׂרי the captains H505 האלפים over thousands, H8269 ושׂרי and captains H3967 המאות over hundreds, H935 הבאים which came H6635 מצבא   H4421 המלחמה׃  
  15 H559 ויאמר said H413 אליהם unto H4872 משׁה And Moses H2421 החייתם   H3605 כל   H5347 נקבה׃  
  16 H2005 הן Behold, H2007 הנה these H1961 היו caused H1121 לבני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H1697 בדבר through the counsel H1109 בלעם of Balaam, H4560 למסר to commit H4604 מעל trespass H3068 ביהוה against the LORD H5921 על in H1697 דבר the matter H6465 פעור of Peor, H1961 ותהי and there was H4046 המגפה a plague H5712 בעדת among the congregation H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD.
  17 H6258 ועתה Now H2026 הרגו therefore kill H3605 כל every H2145 זכר male H2945 בטף among the little ones, H3605 וכל every H802 אשׁה woman H3045 ידעת that hath known H376 אישׁ man H4904 למשׁכב by lying H2145 זכר with him. H2026 הרגו׃ and kill
  18 H3605 וכל But all H2945 הטף children, H802 בנשׁים the women H834 אשׁר that H3808 לא have not H3045 ידעו known H4904 משׁכב by lying H2145 זכר a man H2421 החיו׃ with him, keep alive
  19 H859 ואתם And do ye H2583 חנו abide H2351 מחוץ without H4264 למחנה the camp H7651 שׁבעת seven H3117 ימים days: H3605 כל whosoever H2026 הרג hath killed H5315 נפשׁ any person, H3605 וכל and whosoever H5060 נגע hath touched H2491 בחלל any slain, H2398 תתחטאו purify H3117 ביום day, H7992 השׁלישׁי on the third H3117 וביום day. H7637 השׁביעי and on the seventh H859 אתם yourselves H7628 ושׁביכם׃ and your captives
  20 H3605 וכל all H899 בגד raiment, H3605 וכל and all H3627 כלי that is made H5785 עור of skins, H3605 וכל and all H4639 מעשׂה work H5795 עזים of goats' H3605 וכל and all H3627 כלי things H6086 עץ made of wood. H2398 תתחטאו׃ And purify
  21 H559 ויאמר said H499 אלעזר And Eleazar H3548 הכהן the priest H413 אל unto H582 אנשׁי   H6635 הצבא of war H935 הבאים which went H4421 למלחמה to the battle, H2063 זאת This H2708 חקת the ordinance H8451 התורה of the law H834 אשׁר which H6680 צוה commanded H3069 יהוה   H853 את   H4872 משׁה׃ Moses;
  22 H389 אך Only H853 את   H2091 הזהב the gold, H853 ואת   H3701 הכסף and the silver, H853 את   H5178 הנחשׁת the brass, H853 את   H1270 הברזל the iron, H853 את   H913 הבדיל the tin, H853 ואת   H5777 העפרת׃ and the lead,
  23 H3605 כל Every H1697 דבר thing H834 אשׁר that H935 יבא may abide H784 באשׁ the fire, H5674 תעבירו ye shall make go H784 באשׁ through the fire, H2891 וטהר and it shall be clean: H389 אך nevertheless H4325 במי with the water H5079 נדה of separation: H2398 יתחטא it shall be purified H3605 וכל and all H834 אשׁר that H3808 לא not H935 יבא abideth H784 באשׁ the fire H5674 תעבירו ye shall make go H4325 במים׃ through the water.
  24 H3526 וכבסתם And ye shall wash H899 בגדיכם your clothes H3117 ביום day, H7637 השׁביעי on the seventh H2891 וטהרתם and ye shall be clean, H310 ואחר and afterward H935 תבאו ye shall come H413 אל into H4264 המחנה׃ the camp.
  25 H559 ויאמר spoke H3068 יהוה And the LORD H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses, H559 לאמר׃ saying,
  26 H5375 שׂא Take H853 את   H7218 ראשׁ the sum H4455 מלקוח of the prey H7628 השׁבי that was taken, H120 באדם of man H929 ובבהמה and of beast, H859 אתה thou, H499 ואלעזר and Eleazar H3548 הכהן the priest, H7218 וראשׁי and the chief H1 אבות fathers H5712 העדה׃ of the congregation:
  27 H2673 וחצית And divide H853 את   H4455 המלקוח the prey H996 בין into two parts; between H8610 תפשׂי them that took H4421 המלחמה the war H3318 היצאים upon them, who went out H6635 לצבא to battle, H996 ובין and between H3605 כל all H5712 העדה׃ the congregation:
  28 H7311 והרמת And levy H4371 מכס a tribute H3068 ליהוה unto the LORD H853 מאת   H376 אנשׁי the men H4421 המלחמה of war H3318 היצאים which went out H6635 לצבא to battle: H259 אחד one H5315 נפשׁ soul H2568 מחמשׁ of five H3967 המאות hundred, H4480 מן of H120 האדם the persons, H4480 ומן of five H1241 הבקר the beefs, H4480 ומן of H2543 החמרים the asses, H4480 ומן and of H6629 הצאן׃ the sheep:
  29 H4276 ממחציתם of their half, H3947 תקחו Take H5414 ונתתה and give H499 לאלעזר it unto Eleazar H3548 הכהן the priest, H8641 תרומת a heave offering H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD.
  30 H4276 וממחצת half, H1121 בני And of the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel's H3947 תקח thou shalt take H259 אחד one H270 אחז portion H4480 מן half, H2572 החמשׁים fifty, H4480 מן of H120 האדם the persons, H4480 מן of H1241 הבקר the beefs, H4480 מן of H2543 החמרים the asses, H4480 ומן of H6629 הצאן the flocks, H3605 מכל of all manner H929 הבהמה of beasts, H5414 ונתתה and give H853 אתם   H3881 ללוים them unto the Levites, H8104 שׁמרי which keep H4931 משׁמרת the charge H4908 משׁכן of the tabernacle H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD.
  31 H6213 ויעשׂ did H4872 משׁה And Moses H499 ואלעזר and Eleazar H3548 הכהן the priest H834 כאשׁר as H6680 צוה commanded H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 את   H4872 משׁה׃ Moses.
  32 H1961 ויהי was H4455 המלקוח And the booty, H3499 יתר the rest H957 הבז of the prey H834 אשׁר which H962 בזזו had caught, H5971 עם the men H6635 הצבא of war H6629 צאן sheep, H8337 שׁשׁ six H3967 מאות hundred H505 אלף thousand H7657 ושׁבעים and seventy H505 אלף thousand H2568 וחמשׁת and five H505 אלפים׃ thousand
  33 H1241 ובקר beefs, H8147 שׁנים   H7657 ושׁבעים   H505 אלף׃ thousand
  34 H2543 וחמרים asses, H259 אחד and one H8346 ושׁשׁים And threescore H505 אלף׃ thousand
  35 H5315 ונפשׁ persons H120 אדם persons H4480 מן of H802 הנשׁים women H834 אשׁר that H3808 לא had not H3045 ידעו known H4904 משׁכב man by lying with H2145 זכר him. H3605 כל in all, H5315 נפשׁ in all, H8147 שׁנים and two H7970 ושׁלשׁים And thirty H505 אלף׃ thousand
  36 H1961 ותהי was H4275 המחצה And the half, H2506 חלק the portion H3318 היצאים of them that went out H6635 בצבא to war, H4557 מספר in number H6629 הצאן sheep: H7969 שׁלשׁ three H3967 מאות hundred H505 אלף thousand H7970 ושׁלשׁים and thirty H505 אלף thousand H7651 ושׁבעת and seven H505 אלפים   H2568 וחמשׁ and five H3967 מאות׃ hundred
  37 H1961 ויהי was H4371 המכס tribute H3068 ליהוה And the LORD's H4480 מן of H6629 הצאן the sheep H8337 שׁשׁ six H3967 מאות hundred H2568 חמשׁ and threescore and fifteen. H7657 ושׁבעים׃ and threescore and fifteen.
  38 H1241 והבקר And the beefs H8337 שׁשׁה and six H7970 ושׁלשׁים thirty H505 אלף thousand; H4371 ומכסם tribute H3068 ליהוה of which the LORD's H8147 שׁנים threescore and twelve. H7657 ושׁבעים׃ threescore and twelve.
  39 H2543 וחמרים And the asses H7970 שׁלשׁים thirty H505 אלף thousand H2568 וחמשׁ and five H3967 מאות hundred; H4371 ומכסם tribute H3068 ליהוה of which the LORD's H259 אחד and one. H8346 ושׁשׁים׃ threescore
  40 H5315 ונפשׁ persons. H120 אדם   H8337 שׁשׁה sixteen H6240 עשׂר sixteen H505 אלף thousand; H4371 ומכסם tribute H3068 ליהוה of which the LORD's H8147 שׁנים and two H7970 ושׁלשׁים thirty H5315 נפשׁ׃  
  41 H5414 ויתן gave H4872 משׁה And Moses H853 את   H4371 מכס the tribute, H8641 תרומת heave offering, H3068 יהוה the LORD's H499 לאלעזר unto Eleazar H3548 הכהן the priest, H834 כאשׁר as H6680 צוה commanded H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 את   H4872 משׁה׃ Moses.
  42 H4276 וממחצית half, H1121 בני And of the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel's H834 אשׁר which H2673 חצה divided H4872 משׁה Moses H4480 מן half, H376 האנשׁים the men H6633 הצבאים׃ that warred,
  43 H1961 ותהי was H4275 מחצת (Now the half H5712 העדה the congregation H4480 מן   H6629 הצאן sheep, H7969 שׁלשׁ three H3967 מאות hundred H505 אלף thousand H7970 ושׁלשׁים and thirty H505 אלף thousand H7651 שׁבעת seven H505 אלפים thousand H2568 וחמשׁ and five H3967 מאות׃ hundred
  44 H1241 ובקר beefs, H8337 שׁשׁה and six H7970 ושׁלשׁים And thirty H505 אלף׃ thousand
  45 H2543 וחמרים asses H7970 שׁלשׁים And thirty H505 אלף thousand H2568 וחמשׁ and five H3967 מאות׃ hundred,

  47 H3947 ויקח took H4872 משׁה Moses H4276 ממחצת half, H1121 בני Even of the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel's H853 את   H270 האחז portion H259 אחד one H4480 מן half, H2572 החמשׁים fifty, H4480 מן of H120 האדם man H4480 ומן of H929 הבהמה beast, H5414 ויתן and gave H853 אתם   H3881 ללוים them unto the Levites, H8104 שׁמרי which kept H4931 משׁמרת the charge H4908 משׁכן of the tabernacle H3068 יהוה of the LORD; H834 כאשׁר as H6680 צוה commanded H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 את   H4872 משׁה׃ Moses.
  48 H7126 ויקרבו came near H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses: H6485 הפקדים And the officers H834 אשׁר which H505 לאלפי over thousands H6635 הצבא of the host, H8269 שׂרי the captains H505 האלפים of thousands, H8269 ושׂרי and captains H3967 המאות׃ of hundreds,
  49 H559 ויאמרו And they said H413 אל unto H4872 משׁה Moses, H5650 עבדיך Thy servants H5375 נשׂאו have taken H853 את   H7218 ראשׁ the sum H376 אנשׁי of the men H4421 המלחמה of war H834 אשׁר which H3027 בידנו under our charge, H3808 ולא not H6485 נפקד and there lacketh H4480 ממנו of H376 אישׁ׃ one man
  50 H7126 ונקרב We have therefore brought H853 את   H7133 קרבן an oblation H3068 יהוה for the LORD, H376 אישׁ every man H834 אשׁר what H4672 מצא hath gotten, H3627 כלי of jewels H2091 זהב of gold, H685 אצעדה chains, H6781 וצמיד and bracelets, H2885 טבעת rings, H5694 עגיל earrings, H3558 וכומז and tablets, H3722 לכפר to make an atonement H5921 על for H5315 נפשׁתינו our souls H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.
  51 H3947 ויקח took H4872 משׁה And Moses H499 ואלעזר and Eleazar H3548 הכהן the priest H853 את   H2091 הזהב the gold H853 מאתם   H3605 כל them, all H3627 כלי jewels. H4639 מעשׂה׃ wrought
  52 H1961 ויהי was H3605 כל And all H2091 זהב the gold H8641 התרומה of the offering H834 אשׁר that H7311 הרימו they offered up H3068 ליהוה to the LORD, H8337 שׁשׁה sixteen H6240 עשׂר sixteen H505 אלף of thousands, H7651 שׁבע seven H3967 מאות of hundreds, H2572 וחמשׁים and fifty H8255 שׁקל shekels.   53 H376 אנשׁי (the men H6635 הצבא of war H962 בזזו had taken spoil, H376 אישׁ׃ every man
  54 H3947 ויקח took H4872 משׁה And Moses H499 ואלעזר and Eleazar H3548 הכהן the priest H853 את   H2091 הזהב the gold H853 מאת   H8269 שׂרי the captains H505 האלפים of thousands H3967 והמאות and of hundreds, H935 ויבאו and brought H853 אתו   H413 אל it into H168 אהל the tabernacle H4150 מועד of the congregation, H2146 זכרון a memorial H1121 לבני for the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.
