KJV_Strongs(i)
H85 And Abraham H2204 was old [H8804]   H935 , and well stricken [H8804]   H3117 in age H3068 : and the LORD H1288 had blessed [H8765]   H85 Abraham in all things.
H85 And Abraham H559 said [H8799]   H2205 unto his eldest H5650 servant H1004 of his house H4910 , that ruled over [H8802]   H7760 all that he had, Put [H8798]   H3027 , I pray thee, thy hand H3409 under my thigh:
H7650 And I will make thee swear [H8686]   H3068 by the LORD H430 , the God H8064 of heaven H430 , and the God H776 of the earth H3947 , that thou shalt not take [H8799]   H802 a wife H1121 unto my son H1323 of the daughters H3669 of the Canaanites H7130 , among H3427 whom I dwell [H8802]  :
H3212 But thou shalt go [H8799]   H776 unto my country H4138 , and to my kindred H3947 , and take [H8804]   H802 a wife H1121 unto my son H3327 Isaac.
H5650 And the servant H559 said [H8799]   H802 unto him, Peradventure the woman H14 will not be willing [H8799]   H3212 to follow [H8800]   H310 me H776 unto this land H7725 : must I needs bring [H8687]   H1121 thy son H7725 again [H8686]   H776 unto the land H3318 from whence thou camest [H8804]  ?
H85 And Abraham H559 said [H8799]   H8104 unto him, Beware [H8734]   H7725 thou that thou bring H6435 not H1121 my son H7725 thither again [H8686]  .
H3068 The LORD H430 God H8064 of heaven H3947 , which took me [H8804]   H1 from my father's H1004 house H776 , and from the land H4138 of my kindred H1696 , and which spake [H8765]   H7650 unto me, and that sware [H8738]   H559 unto me, saying [H8800]   H2233 , Unto thy seed H5414 will I give [H8799]   H776 this land H7971 ; he shall send [H8799]   H4397 his angel H6440 before thee H3947 , and thou shalt take [H8804]   H802 a wife H1121 unto my son from thence.
H802 And if the woman H14 will not be willing [H8799]   H3212 to follow [H8800]   H310 thee H5352 , then thou shalt be clear [H8738]   H7621 from this my oath H7725 : only bring H1121 not my son H7725 thither again [H8686]  .
H5650 And the servant H7760 put [H8799]   H3027 his hand H3409 under the thigh H85 of Abraham H113 his master H7650 , and sware [H8735]   H5921 to him concerning H2088 that H1697 matter.
H5650 And the servant H3947 took [H8799]   H6235 ten H1581 camels H1581 of the camels H113 of his master H3212 , and departed [H8799]   H2898 ; for all the goods H113 of his master H3027 were in his hand H6965 : and he arose [H8799]   H3212 , and went [H8799]   H763 to Mesopotamia H5892 , unto the city H5152 of Nahor.
H1288 And he made H1581 his camels H1288 to kneel down [H8686]   H2351 without H5892 the city H413 by H875 a well H4325 of water H6256 at the time H6153 of the evening H6256 , even the time H3318 that women go out [H8800]   H7579 to draw [H8802]   water .
H559 And he said [H8799]   H3068 , O LORD H430 God H113 of my master H85 Abraham H6440 , I pray thee, send me H7136 good speed [H8685]   H3117 this day H6213 , and shew [H8798]   H2617 kindness H5973 unto H113 my master H85 Abraham.
H5324 Behold, I stand [H8737]   H5869 here by the well H4325 of water H1323 ; and the daughters H582 of the men H5892 of the city H3318 come out [H8802]   H7579 to draw [H8800]   H4325 water:
H5291 And let it come to pass, that the damsel H559 to whom I shall say [H8799]   H5186 , Let down [H8685]   H3537 thy pitcher H8354 , I pray thee, that I may drink [H8799]   H559 ; and she shall say [H8804]   H8354 , Drink [H8798]   H8248 , and I will give H1581 thy camels H8248 drink [H8686]   H3198 also: let the same be she that thou hast appointed [H8689]   H5650 for thy servant H3327 Isaac H3045 ; and thereby shall I know [H8799]   H6213 that thou hast shewed [H8804]   H2617 kindness H113 unto my master.
H3615 And it came to pass, before he had done [H8765]   H1696 speaking [H8763]   H7259 , that, behold, Rebekah H3318 came out [H8802]   H834 , who H3205 was born [H8795]   H1328 to Bethuel H1121 , son H4435 of Milcah H802 , the wife H5152 of Nahor H85 , Abraham's H251 brother H3537 , with her pitcher H7926 upon her shoulder.
H5291 And the damsel H3966 was very H2896 fair H4758 to look upon H1330 , a virgin H376 , neither had any man H3045 known [H8804]   H3381 her: and she went down [H8799]   H5869 to the well H4390 , and filled [H8762]   H3537 her pitcher H5927 , and came up [H8799]  .
H5650 And the servant H7323 ran [H8799]   H7125 to meet her [H8800]   H559 , and said [H8799]   H1572 , Let me, I pray thee, drink [H8685]   H4592 a little H4325 water H3537 of thy pitcher.
H559 And she said [H8799]   H8354 , Drink [H8798]   H113 , my lord H4116 : and she hasted [H8762]   H3381 , and let down [H8686]   H3537 her pitcher H3027 upon her hand H8248 , and gave him drink [H8686]  .
H3615 And when she had done [H8762]   H8248 giving him drink [H8687]   H559 , she said [H8799]   H7579 , I will draw [H8799]   H1581 water for thy camels H3615 also, until they have done [H8765]   H8354 drinking [H8800]  .
H4116 And she hasted [H8762]   H6168 , and emptied [H8762]   H3537 her pitcher H8268 into the trough H7323 , and ran [H8799]   H875 again unto the well H7579 to draw [H8800]   H7579 water, and drew [H8799]   H1581 for all his camels.
H376 And the man H7583 wondering [H8693]   H2790 at her held his peace [H8688]   H3045 , to wit [H8800]   H3068 whether the LORD H6743 had made H1870 his journey H6743 prosperous [H8689]   H518 or not.
H1581 And it came to pass, as the camels H3615 had done [H8765]   H8354 drinking [H8800]   H376 , that the man H3947 took [H8799]   H2091 a golden H5141 earring H1235 of half a shekel H4948 weight H8147 , and two H6781 bracelets H3027 for her hands H6235 of ten H4948 shekels weight H2091 of gold;
H559 And said [H8799]   H4310 , Whose H1323 daughter H859 art thou H5046 ? tell [H8685]   H3426 me, I pray thee: is there H4725 room H1 in thy father's H1004 house H3885 for us to lodge in [H8800]  ?
H559 And she said [H8799]   H1323 unto him, I am the daughter H1328 of Bethuel H1121 the son H4435 of Milcah H3205 , which she bare [H8804]   H5152 unto Nahor.
H559 She said [H8799]   H1571 moreover unto him, We have both H8401 straw H4554 and provender H7227 enough H1571 , and H4725 room H3885 to lodge in [H8800]  .
H376 And the man H6915 bowed down his head [H8799]   H7812 , and worshipped [H8691]   H3068 the LORD.
H559 And he said [H8799]   H1288 , Blessed [H8803]   H3068 be the LORD H430 God H113 of my master H85 Abraham H5800 , who hath not left destitute [H8804]   H5973   H113 my master H2617 of his mercy H571 and his truth H1870 : I being in the way H3068 , the LORD H5148 led me [H8804]   H1004 to the house H113 of my master's H251 brethren.
H5291 And the damsel H7323 ran [H8799]   H5046 , and told [H8686]   H517 them of her mother's H1004 house H1697 these things.
H7259 And Rebekah H251 had a brother H8034 , and his name H3837 was Laban H3837 : and Laban H7323 ran [H8799]   H2351 out H376 unto the man H5869 , unto the well.
H7200 And it came to pass, when he saw [H8800]   H5141 the earring H6781 and bracelets H269 upon his sister's H3027 hands H8085 , and when he heard [H8800]   H1697 the words H7259 of Rebekah H269 his sister H559 , saying [H8800]   H3541 , Thus H1696 spake [H8765]   H376 the man H935 unto me; that he came [H8799]   H376 unto the man H5975 ; and, behold, he stood [H8802]   H5921 by H1581 the camels H5869 at the well.
H559 And he said [H8799]   H935 , Come in [H8798]   H1288 , thou blessed [H8803]   H3068 of the LORD H5975 ; wherefore standest [H8799]   H2351 thou without H6437 ? for I have prepared [H8765]   H1004 the house H4725 , and room H1581 for the camels.
H376 And the man H935 came [H8799]   H1004 into the house H6605 : and he ungirded [H8762]   H1581 his camels H5414 , and gave [H8799]   H8401 straw H4554 and provender H1581 for the camels H4325 , and water H7364 to wash [H8800]   H7272 his feet H582 , and the men's H7272 feet that were with him.
H7760 And there was set [H8714]   [H8675]   H3455   [H8799]   H6440 meat before him H398 to eat [H8800]   H559 : but he said [H8799]   H398 , I will not eat [H8799]   H1696 , until I have told [H8765]   H1697 mine errand H559 . And he said [H8799]   H1696 , Speak on [H8761]  .
H559 And he said [H8799]   H85 , I am Abraham's H5650 servant.
H3068 And the LORD H1288 hath blessed [H8765]   H113 my master H3966 greatly H1431 ; and he is become great [H8799]   H5414 : and he hath given [H8799]   H6629 him flocks H1241 , and herds H3701 , and silver H2091 , and gold H5650 , and menservants H8198 , and maidservants H1581 , and camels H2543 , and asses.
H8283 And Sarah H113 my master's H802 wife H3205 bare [H8799]   H1121 a son H113 to my master H310 when H2209 she was old H5414 : and unto him hath he given [H8799]   all that he hath.
H113 And my master H7650 made me swear [H8686]   H559 , saying [H8800]   H3947 , Thou shalt not take [H8799]   H802 a wife H1121 to my son H1323 of the daughters H3669 of the Canaanites H776 , in whose land H3427 I dwell [H8802]  :
H518 But H3212 thou shalt go [H8799]   H1 unto my father's H1004 house H4940 , and to my kindred H3947 , and take [H8804]   H802 a wife H1121 unto my son.
H559 And I said [H8799]   H113 unto my master H802 , Peradventure the woman H3212 will not follow [H8799]   H310   me.
H559 And he said [H8799]   H3068 unto me, The LORD H6440 , before H1980 whom I walk [H8694]   H7971 , will send [H8799]   H4397 his angel H6743 with thee, and prosper [H8689]   H1870 thy way H3947 ; and thou shalt take [H8804]   H802 a wife H1121 for my son H4940 of my kindred H1 , and of my father's H1004 house:
H5352 Then shalt thou be clear [H8735]   H423 from this my oath H935 , when thou comest [H8799]   H4940 to my kindred H5414 ; and if they give [H8799]   H5355 not thee one, thou shalt be clear H423 from my oath.
H935 And I came [H8799]   H3117 this day H5869 unto the well H559 , and said [H8799]   H3068 , O LORD H430 God H113 of my master H85 Abraham H3426 , if now thou do H6743 prosper [H8688]   H1870 my way H1980 which I go [H8802]  :
H5324 Behold, I stand [H8737]   H5869 by the well H4325 of water H5959 ; and it shall come to pass, that when the virgin H3318 cometh forth [H8802]   H7579 to draw [H8800]   H559 water, and I say [H8804]   H8248 to her, Give me H4592 , I pray thee, a little H4325 water H3537 of thy pitcher H8248 to drink [H8685]  ;
H559 And she say [H8804]   H8354 to me, Both drink [H8798]   H7579 thou, and I will also draw [H8799]   H1581 for thy camels H802 : let the same be the woman H3068 whom the LORD H3198 hath appointed out [H8689]   H113 for my master's H1121 son.
H3615 And before I had done [H8762]   H1696 speaking [H8763]   H3820 in mine heart H7259 , behold, Rebekah H3318 came forth [H8802]   H3537 with her pitcher H7926 on her shoulder H3381 ; and she went down [H8799]   H5869 unto the well H7579 , and drew [H8799]   H559 water : and I said [H8799]   H8248 unto her, Let me drink [H8685]  , I pray thee.
H4116 And she made haste [H8762]   H3381 , and let down [H8686]   H3537 her pitcher H559 from her shoulder, and said [H8799]   H8354 , Drink [H8798]   H8248 , and I will give H1581 thy camels H8248 drink [H8686]   H8354 also: so I drank [H8799]   H8248 , and she made H1581 the camels H8248 drink [H8689]   also.
H7592 And I asked [H8799]   H559 her, and said [H8799]   H1323 , Whose daughter H559 art thou? And she said [H8799]   H1323 , The daughter H1328 of Bethuel H5152 , Nahor's H1121 son H4435 , whom Milcah H3205 bare [H8804]   H7760 unto him: and I put [H8799]   H5141 the earring H639 upon her face H6781 , and the bracelets H3027 upon her hands.
H6915 And I bowed down my head [H8799]   H7812 , and worshipped [H8691]   H3068 the LORD H1288 , and blessed [H8762]   H3068 the LORD H430 God H113 of my master H85 Abraham H5148 , which had led me [H8689]   H571 in the right H1870 way H3947 to take [H8800]   H113 my master's H251 brother's H1323 daughter H1121 unto his son.
H3426 And now if ye will H6213 deal [H8802]   H2617 kindly H571 and truly H113 with my master H5046 , tell [H8685]   H5046 me: and if not, tell [H8685]   H6437 me; that I may turn [H8799]   H3225 to the right hand H176 , or H8040 to the left.
H3837 Then Laban H1328 and Bethuel H6030 answered [H8799]   H559 and said [H8799]   H1697 , The thing H3318 proceedeth [H8804]   H3068 from the LORD H3201 : we cannot [H8799]   H1696 speak [H8763]   H7451 unto thee bad H176 or H2896 good.
H7259 Behold, Rebekah H6440 is before thee H3947 , take [H8798]   H3212 her, and go [H8798]   H113 , and let her be thy master's H1121 son's H802 wife H3068 , as the LORD H1696 hath spoken [H8765]  .
H85 And it came to pass, that, when Abraham's H5650 servant H8085 heard [H8804]   H1697 their words H7812 , he worshipped [H8691]   H3068 the LORD H776 , bowing himself to the earth.
H5650 And the servant H3318 brought forth [H8686]   H3627 jewels H3701 of silver H3627 , and jewels H2091 of gold H899 , and raiment H5414 , and gave [H8799]   H7259 them to Rebekah H5414 : he gave [H8804]   H251 also to her brother H517 and to her mother H4030 precious things.
H398 And they did eat [H8799]   H8354 and drink [H8799]   H582 , he and the men H3885 that were with him, and tarried all night [H8799]   H6965 ; and they rose up [H8799]   H1242 in the morning H559 , and he said [H8799]   H7971 , Send me away [H8761]   H113 unto my master.
H251 And her brother H517 and her mother H559 said [H8799]   H5291 , Let the damsel H3427 abide [H8799]   H3117 with us a few days H176 , at the least H6218 ten H310 ; after H3212 that she shall go [H8799]  .
H559 And he said [H8799]   H309 unto them, Hinder me [H8762]   H3068 not, seeing the LORD H6743 hath prospered [H8689]   H1870 my way H7971 ; send me away [H8761]   H3212 that I may go [H8799]   H113 to my master.
H559 And they said [H8799]   H7121 , We will call [H8799]   H5291 the damsel H7592 , and enquire [H8799]   H6310 at her mouth.
H7121 And they called [H8799]   H7259 Rebekah H559 , and said [H8799]   H3212 unto her, Wilt thou go [H8799]   H376 with this man H559 ? And she said [H8799]   H3212 , I will go [H8799]  .
H7971 And they sent away [H8762]   H7259 Rebekah H269 their sister H3243 , and her nurse [H8688]   H85 , and Abraham's H5650 servant H582 , and his men.
H1288 And they blessed [H8762]   H7259 Rebekah H559 , and said [H8799]   H859 unto her, Thou H269 art our sister H1961 , be thou [H8798]   H505 the mother of thousands H7233 of millions H2233 , and let thy seed H3423 possess [H8799]   H8179 the gate H8130 of those which hate [H8802]   them.
H7259 And Rebekah H6965 arose [H8799]   H5291 , and her damsels H7392 , and they rode [H8799]   H1581 upon the camels H3212 , and followed [H8799]   H310   H376 the man H5650 : and the servant H3947 took [H8799]   H7259 Rebekah H3212 , and went his way [H8799]  .
H3327 And Isaac H935 came [H8804]   H935 from the way [H8800]   H883 of the well Lahairoi H3427 ; for he dwelt [H8802]   H5045 in the south H776 country.
H3327 And Isaac H3318 went out [H8799]   H7742 to meditate [H8800]   H7704 in the field H6437 at [H8800]   H6153 the eventide H5375 : and he lifted up [H8799]   H5869 his eyes H7200 , and saw [H8799]   H1581 , and, behold, the camels H935 were coming [H8802]  .
H7259 And Rebekah H5375 lifted up [H8799]   H5869 her eyes H7200 , and when she saw [H8799]   H3327 Isaac H5307 , she lighted [H8799]   H5921 off H1581 the camel.
H559 For she had said [H8799]   H5650 unto the servant H4310 , What H376 man H1976 is this H1980 that walketh [H8802]   H7704 in the field H7125 to meet us [H8800]   H5650 ? And the servant H559 had said [H8799]   H113 , It is my master H3947 : therefore she took [H8799]   H6809 a vail H3680 , and covered herself [H8691]  .

ERV(i) 1 And Abraham was old, [and] well stricken in age: and the LORD had blessed Abraham in all things. 2 And Abraham said unto his servant, the elder of his house, that ruled over all that he had, Put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh: 3 and I will make thee swear by the LORD, the God of heaven and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife for my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell: 4 but thou shalt go unto my country, and to my kindred, and take a wife for my son Isaac. 5 And the servant said unto him, Peradventure the woman will not be willing to follow me unto this land: must I needs bring thy son again unto the land from whence thou camest? 6 And Abraham said unto him, Beware thou that thou bring not my son thither again. 7 The LORD, the God of heaven, that took me from my father’s house, and from the land of my nativity, and that spake unto me, and that sware unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this land; he shall send his angel before thee, and thou shalt take a wife for my son from thence. 8 And if the woman be not willing to follow thee, then thou shalt be clear from this my oath; only thou shalt not bring my son thither again. 9 And the servant put his hand under the thigh of Abraham his master, and sware to him concerning this matter. 10 And the servant took ten camels, of the camels of his master, and departed; having all goodly things of his master’s in his hand: and he arose, and went to Mesopotamia, unto the city of Nahor. 11 And he made the camels to kneel down without the city by the well of water at the time of evening, the time that women go out to draw water. 12 And he said, O LORD, the God of my master Abraham, send me, I pray thee, good speed this day, and shew kindness unto my master Abraham. 13 Behold, I stand by the fountain of water; and the daughters of the men of the city come out to draw water: 14 and let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: let the same be she that thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast shewed kindness unto my master. 15 And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel the son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham’s brother, with her pitcher upon her shoulder. 16 And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the fountain, and filled her pitcher, and came up. 17 And the servant ran to meet her, and said, Give me to drink, I pray thee, a little water of thy pitcher. 18 And she said, Drink, my lord: and she hasted, and let down her pitcher upon her hand, and gave him drink. 19 And when she had done giving him drink, she said, I will draw for thy camels also, until they have done drinking. 20 And she hasted, and emptied her pitcher into the trough, and ran again unto the well to draw, and drew for all his camels. 21 And the man looked stedfastly on her; holding his peace, to know whether the LORD had made his journey prosperous or not. 22 And it came to pass, as the camels had done drinking, that the man took a golden ring of half a shekel weight, and two bracelets for her hands of ten shekels weight of gold; 23 and said, Whose daughter art thou? tell me, I pray thee. Is there room in thy father’s house for us to lodge in? 24 And she said unto him, I am the daughter of Bethuel the son of Milcah, which she bare unto Nahor. 25 She said moreover unto him, We have both straw and provender enough, and room to lodge in. 26 And the man bowed his head, and worshipped the LORD. 27 And he said, Blessed be the LORD, the God of my master Abraham, who hath not forsaken his mercy and his truth toward my master: as for me, the LORD hath led me in the way to the house of my master’s brethren. 28 And the damsel ran, and told her mother’s house according to these words. 29 And Rebekah had a brother, and his name was Laban: and Laban ran out unto the man, unto the fountain. 30 And it came to pass, when he saw the ring, and the bracelets upon his sister’s hands, and when he heard the words of Rebekah his sister, saying, Thus spake the man unto me; that he came unto the man; and, behold, he stood by the camels at the fountain. 31 And he said, Come in, thou blessed of the LORD; wherefore standest thou without? for I have prepared the house, and room for the camels. 32 And the man came into the house, and he ungirded the camels; and he gave straw and provender for the camels, and water to wash his feet and the men’s feet that were with him. 33 And there was set meat before him to eat: but he said, I will not eat, until I have told mine errand. And he said, Speak on. 34 And he said, I am Abraham’s servant. 35 And the LORD hath blessed my master greatly; and he is become great: and he hath given him flocks and herds, and silver and gold, and menservants and maidservants, and camels and asses. 36 And Sarah my master’s wife bare a son to my master when she was old: and unto him hath he given all that he hath. 37 And my master made me swear, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife for my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, in whose land I dwell: 38 but thou shalt go unto my father’s house, and to my kindred, and take a wife for my son. 39 And I said unto my master, Peradventure the woman will not follow me. 40 And he said unto me, The LORD, before whom I walk, will send his angel with thee, and prosper thy way; and thou shalt take a wife for my son of my kindred, and of my father’s house: 41 then shalt thou be clear from my oath, when thou comest to my kindred; and if they give her not to thee, thou shalt be clear from my oath. 42 And I came this day unto the fountain, and said, O LORD, the God of my master Abraham, if now thou do prosper my way which I go: 43 behold, I stand by the fountain of water; and let it come to pass, that the maiden which cometh forth to draw, to whom I shall say, Give me, I pray thee, a little water of thy pitcher to drink; 44 and she shall say to me, Both drink thou, and I will also draw for thy camels: let the same be the woman whom the LORD hath appointed for my master’s son. 45 And before I had done speaking in mine heart, behold, Rebekah came forth with her pitcher on her shoulder; and she went down unto the fountain, and drew: and I said unto her, Let me drink, I pray thee. 46 And she made haste, and let down her pitcher from her shoulder, and said, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: so I drank, and she made the camels drink also. 47 And I asked her, and said, Whose daughter art thou? And she said, The daughter of Bethuel, Nahor’s son, whom Milcah bare unto him: and I put the ring upon her nose, and the bracelets upon her hands. 48 And I bowed my head, and worshipped the LORD, and blessed the LORD, the God of my master Abraham, which had led me in the right way to take my master’s brother’s daughter for his son. 49 And now if ye will deal kindly and truly with my master, tell me: and if not, tell me; that I may turn to the right hand, or to the left. 50 Then Laban and Bethuel answered and said, The thing proceedeth from the LORD: we cannot speak unto thee bad or good. 51 Behold, Rebekah is before thee, take her, and go, and let her be thy master’s son’s wife, as the LORD hath spoken. 52 And it came to pass, that, when Abraham’s servant heard their words, he bowed himself down to the earth unto the LORD. 53 And the servant brought forth jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment, and gave them to Rebekah: he gave also to her brother and to her mother precious things. 54 And they did eat and drink, he and the men that were with him, and tarried all night; and they rose up in the morning, and he said, Send me away unto my master. 55 And her brother and her mother said, Let the damsel abide with us [a few] days, at the least ten; after that she shall go. 56 And he said unto them, Hinder me not, seeing the LORD hath prospered my way; send me away that I may go to my master. 57 And they said, We will call the damsel, and inquire at her mouth. 58 And they called Rebekah, and said unto her, Wilt thou go with this man? And she said, I will go. 59 And they sent away Rebekah their sister, and her nurse, and Abraham’s servant, and his men. 60 And they blessed Rebekah, and said unto her, Our sister, be thou [the mother] of thousands of ten thousands, and let thy seed possess the gate of those which hate them. 61 And Rebekah arose, and her damsels, and they rode upon the camels, and followed the man: and the servant took Rebekah, and went his way. 62 And Isaac came from the way of Beer-lahai-roi; for he dwelt in the land of the South. 63 And Isaac went out to meditate in the field at the eventide: and he lifted up his eyes, and saw, and, behold, there were camels coming. 64 And Rebekah lifted up her eyes, and when she saw Isaac, she lighted off the camel. 65 And she said unto the servant, What man is this that walketh in the field to meet us? And the servant said, It is my master: and she took her veil, and covered herself. 66 And the servant told Isaac all the things that he had done. 67 And Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah’s tent, and took Rebekah, and she became his wife; and he loved her: and Isaac was comforted after his mother’s death.
