Acts 13:1-38 Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

1 G1161 Now G1577 there were in the church G1722 that was at G490 Antioch G5100 certain G4396 prophets G1320 and teachers; G921 as Barnabas, G4826 and Simeon G2564 that was called G3526 Niger, G3066 and Lucius G2957 of Cyrene, G3127 and Manaen, G4939 which had been brought G2264 up with Herod G5076 the tetrarch, G4569 and Saul.

2 G3008 As they ministered G2962 to the Lord, G3522 and fasted, G40 the Holy G4151 Ghost G2036 said, G873 Separate G921 me Barnabas G4569 and Saul G2041 for the work G3739 whereunto G4341 I have called them.

3 G3522 And when they had fasted G4336 and prayed, G2007 and laid G5495 their hands G2007 on G630 them, they sent G630 them away.

4 G3767 So G1599 they, being sent G1599 forth G40 by the Holy G4151 Ghost, G2718 departed G4581 to Seleucia; G1564 and from there G636 they sailed G2954 to Cyprus.

8 G1681 But Elymas G3097 the sorcerer G3779 (for so G3686 is his name G3177 by interpretation) G436 withstood G2212 them, seeking G1294 to turn G1294 away G446 the deputy G4102 from the faith.

9 G1161 Then G4569 Saul, G3739 (who G2532 also G4341 is called G3972 Paul, G4130 ) filled G40 with the Holy G4151 Ghost, G816 set G1519 his eyes on him.

10 G2036 And said, G4134 O full G3956 of all G1388 subtlety G3956 and all G4468 mischief, G5207 you child G1228 of the devil, G2190 you enemy G3956 of all G1343 righteousness, G3973 will you not cease G1294 to pervert G2117 the right G3598 ways G2962 of the Lord?

27 G2730 For they that dwell G1722 at G2419 Jerusalem, G758 and their rulers, G50 because they knew G2532 him not, nor G5456 yet the voices G4396 of the prophets G3588 which G314 are read G3956 every G4521 sabbath G4137 day, they have fulfilled G2919 them in condemning him.

28 G2147 And though they found G3367 no G156 cause G2288 of death G154 in him, yet desired G4091 they Pilate G337 that he should be slain.

35 G1352 Why G3004 he said G2532 also G2087 in another G1325 psalm, You shall not suffer G4675 your G3741 Holy G1492 One to see G1312 corruption.

36 G1138 For David, G5256 after he had served G2398 his own G1074 generation G1012 by the will G2316 of God, G2837 fell on sleep, G4369 and was laid G3962 to his fathers, G1492 and saw G1312 corruption:

37 G3739 But he, whom G2316 God G1453 raised G1453 again, G1492 saw G3756 no G1312 corruption.
