Numbers 11 And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp.

2 H5971 And the people H6817 [H8799] shrieked H4872 to Moses; H4872 and when Moses H6419 [H8691] prayed H3068 to the LORD, H784 the fire H8257 [H8799] was quenched.

3 H7121 [H8799] And he called H8034 the name H1931 of the H4725 place H8404 Taberah: H784 because the fire H3068 of the LORD H1197 [H8804] burnt among them.

4 H628 And the mixed multitude H7130 that was among H183 H8378 [H8694] them fell to lusting: H1121 and the sons H3478 of Israel H1058 [H8799] also wept H7725 [H8799] again, H559 [H8799] and said, H1320 Who shall give us flesh H398 [H8686] to eat?

5 H2142 [H8804] We remember H1710 the fish, H398 [H8799] which we ate H4714 in Egypt H2600 freely; H7180 the cucumbers, H20 and the melons, H2682 and the leeks, H1211 and the onions, H7762 and the garlic:

6 H5315 But now our breath H3002 is dried away: H1115 there is nothing at all, besides H4478 this manna, H5869 before our eyes.

7 H4478 And the manna H1407 was as coriander H2233 seed, H5869 and the colour H5869 of it as the colour H916 of bdellium.

8 H5971 And the people H7751 [H8804] went about, H3950 [H8804] and gathered H2912 [H8804] it, and ground H7347 it in mills, H1743 [H8804] or beat H4085 it in a mortar, H1310 [H8765] and baked H6517 it in pans, H6213 [H8804] and made H5692 cakes H2940 of it: and the taste H2940 of it was as the taste H3955 of fresh H8081 oil.

9 H2919 And when the dew H3381 [H8800] fell H4264 upon the camp H3915 in the night, H4478 the manna H3381 [H8799] fell upon it.

10 H4872 Then Moses H8085 [H8799] heard H5971 the people H1058 [H8802] weeping H4940 throughout their families, H376 every man H6607 in the door H168 of his tent: H639 and the anger H3068 of the LORD H2734 [H8799] was kindled H3966 greatly; H4872 Moses H7489 H5869 [H8804] also was displeased.

11 H4872 And Moses H559 [H8799] said H3068 to the LORD, H7489 [H8689] Why hast thou afflicted H5650 thy servant? H4672 [H8804] and why have I not found H2580 favour H5869 in thine eyes, H7760 [H8800] that thou layest H4853 the burden H5971 of all this people upon me?

12 H2029 [H8804] Have I conceived H5971 all this people? H3205 [H8804] have I begotten H559 [H8799] them, that thou shouldest say H5375 [H8798] to me, Carry H2436 them in thy bosom, H539 [H8802] as a nursing father H5375 [H8799] beareth H3243 [H8802] the nursing child, H127 to the soil H7650 [H8738] which thou sworest H1 to their fathers?

13 H370 Where H1320 should I get flesh H5414 [H8800] to give H5971 to all this people? H1058 [H8799] for they weep H559 [H8800] to me, saying, H5414 [H8798] Give H1320 us flesh, H398 [H8799] that we may eat.

14 H3201 [H8799] I am not able H5375 [H8800] to bear H5971 all this people H905 alone, H3515 because it is too heavy for me.

15 H6213 [H8802] And if thou dealest H2026 [H8798] thus with me, kill H2026 [H8800] me, I pray thee, out of hand, H4672 [H8804] if I have found H2580 favour H5869 in thine eyes; H7200 [H8799] and let me not see H7451 my wretchedness.

16 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said H4872 to Moses, H622 [H8798] Gather H7657 to me seventy H376 men H2205 of the elders H3478 of Israel, H3045 [H8804] whom thou knowest H2205 to be the elders H5971 of the people, H7860 [H8802] and officers H3947 [H8804] over them; and bring H168 them to the tent H4150 of meeting H3320 [H8694] that they may stand there with thee.

17 H3381 [H8804] And I will come down H1696 [H8765] and talk H680 [H8804] with thee there: and I will take H7307 of the Spirit H7760 [H8804] who is upon thee, and will put H5375 [H8804] it upon them; and they shall bear H4853 the burden H5971 of the people H5375 [H8799] with thee, that thou mayest not bear it thyself alone.

18 H559 [H8799] And say H5971 thou to the people, H6942 [H8690] Sanctify H4279 yourselves for to morrow, H398 [H8804] and ye shall eat H1320 flesh: H1058 [H8804] for ye have wept H241 in the ears H3068 of the LORD, H559 [H8800] saying, H1320 Who shall give us flesh H398 [H8686] to eat? H2895 [H8804] for it was well H4714 with us in Egypt: H3068 therefore the LORD H5414 [H8804] will give H1320 you flesh, H398 [H8804] and ye shall eat.

19 H398 [H8799] Ye shall not eat H259 one H3117 day, H3117 nor two days, H2568 nor five H3117 days, H6235 neither ten H3117 days, H6242 nor twenty H3117 days;

20 H2320 H3117 But even a whole month, H3318 [H8799] until it shall come out H639 at your nostrils, H2214 and it be loathsome H3282 to you: because H3988 [H8804] ye have despised H3068 the LORD H7130 who is among H1058 [H8799] you, and have wept H6440 at the face of H559 [H8800] him, saying, H3318 [H8804] Why came we forth H4714 out of Egypt?

21 H4872 And Moses H559 [H8799] said, H5971 The people, H7130 among H8337 whom I am, are six H3967 hundred H505 thousand H7273 footmen; H559 [H8804] and thou hast said, H5414 [H8799] I will give H1320 them flesh, H398 [H8804] that they may eat H3117 a whole H2320 month.

22 H6629 Shall the flocks H1241 and the herds H7819 [H8735] be slain H4672 [H8804] for them, to suffice H1709 for them? or shall all the fish H3220 of the sea H622 [H8735] be gathered together H4672 [H8804] for them, to suffice for them?

23 H3068 And the LORD H559 [H8799] said H4872 to Moses, H3068 Is the LORD'S H3027 hand H7114 [H8799] shortened? H7200 [H8799] thou shalt see H1697 now whether my word H7136 [H8799] shall come to pass to thee or not.

24 H4872 And Moses H3318 [H8799] went out, H1696 [H8762] and told H5971 the people H1697 the words H3068 of the LORD, H622 [H8799] and gathered H7657 the seventy H376 men H2205 of the elders H5971 of the people, H5975 [H8686] and set H5439 them around H168 the tent.

25 H3068 And the LORD H3381 [H8799] came down H6051 in a cloud, H1696 [H8762] and spoke H680 [H8686] to him, and took H7307 of the spirit H5414 [H8799] that was upon him, and gave H7657 it to the seventy H2205 H376 elders: H7307 and it came to pass, that, when the spirit H5117 [H8800] rested H5012 [H8691] upon them, they prophesied, H3254 [H8804] and did not cease.

26 H7604 [H8735] But there remained H8147 two H582 of the men H4264 in the camp, H8034 the name H259 of the one H419 was Eldad, H8034 and the name H8145 of the other H4312 Medad: H7307 and the spirit H5117 [H8799] rested H3789 [H8803] upon them; and they were of them that were recorded, H3318 [H8804] but went not out H168 to the tent: H5012 [H8691] and they prophesied H4264 in the camp.

27 H7323 [H8799] And there ran H5288 a young man, H5046 [H8686] and told H4872 Moses, H559 [H8799] and said, H419 Eldad H4312 and Medad H5012 [H8693] do prophesy H4264 in the camp.

28 H3091 And Joshua H1121 the son H5126 of Nun, H8334 [H8764] the servant H4872 of Moses, H979 one of his young men, H6030 [H8799] answered H559 [H8799] and said, H113 My sovereign H4872 Moses, H3607 [H8798] forbid them.

29 H4872 And Moses H559 [H8799] said H7065 [H8764] to him, Enviest H5414 [H8799] thou for my sake? O that all the H3068 LORD'S H5971 people H5030 were prophets, H3068 and that the LORD H5414 [H8799] would put H7307 his spirit upon them!

30 H4872 And Moses H622 [H8735] withdrew H4264 into the camp, H2205 he and the elders H3478 of Israel.

31 H5265 [H8804] And there went forth H7307 a wind H3068 from the LORD, H1468 [H8799] and brought H7958 quails H3220 from the sea, H5203 [H8799] and let them fall H4264 by the camp, H3117 as it were a day's H1870 journey H3541 on this side, H3117 and as it were a day's H1870 journey H3541 on the other side, H5439 around H4264 the camp, H520 and as it were two cubits H6440 high upon the face H776 of the earth.

32 H5971 And the people H6965 [H8799] stood up H3117 all that day, H3915 and all that night, H4283 and all the next H3117 day, H622 [H8799] and they gathered H7958 the quails: H4591 [H8688] he that gathered least H622 [H8804] gathered H6235 ten H2563 homers: H7849 [H8799] and they spread H7849 [H8800] them all abroad H5439 for themselves around H4264 the camp.

33 H1320 And while the flesh H2962 was yet H8127 between their teeth, H3772 [H8735] before it was chewed, H639 the anger H3068 of the LORD H2734 [H8804] was kindled H5971 against the people, H3068 and the LORD H5221 [H8686] smote H5971 the people H3966 with a very H7227 great H4347 plague.

34 H7121 [H8799] And he called H8034 the name H4725 of that place H6914 Kibrothhattaavah: H6912 [H8804] because there they buried H5971 the people H183 [H8693] that lusted.

35 H5971 And the people H5265 [H8804] journeyed H6914 from Kibrothhattaavah H2698 to Hazeroth; H2698 and abode at Hazeroth.
