H559 ויאמר said H5288 נערו And his servant H413 אליו unto H162 אהה him, Alas, H113 אדני my master! H349 איכה how H6213 נעשׂה׃ shall we do?

  16 H559 ויאמר And he answered, H408 אל not: H3372 תירא Fear H3588 כי for H7227 רבים us more H834 אשׁר they that H854 אתנו with H834 מאשׁר than they that H854 אותם׃ with

  17 H6419 ויתפלל prayed, H477 אלישׁע And Elisha H559 ויאמר and said, H3068 יהוה LORD, H6491 פקח open H4994 נא I pray thee, H853 את   H5869 עיניו his eyes, H7200 ויראה that he may see. H6491 ויפקח opened H3068 יהוה And the LORD H853 את   H5869 עיני the eyes H5288 הנער of the young man; H7200 וירא and he saw: H2009 והנה and, behold, H2022 ההר the mountain H4390 מלא full H5483 סוסים of horses H7393 ורכב and chariots H784 אשׁ of fire H5439 סביבת round about H477 אלישׁע׃ Elisha.

  18 H3381 וירדו And when they came down H413 אליו to H6419 ויתפלל prayed H477 אלישׁע him, Elisha H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD, H559 ויאמר and said, H5221 הך Smite H4994 נא I pray thee, H853 את   H1471 הגוי people, H2088 הזה this H5575 בסנורים with blindness. H5221 ויכם And he smote H5575 בסנורים them with blindness H1697 כדבר according to the word H477 אלישׁע׃ of Elisha.

  19 H559 ויאמר said H413 אלהם unto H477 אלישׁע And Elisha H3808 לא not H2088 זה them, This H1870 הדרך the way, H3808 ולא neither H2090 זה this H5892 העיר the city: H1980 לכו follow H310 אחרי follow H1980 ואוליכה me, and I will bring H853 אתכם   H413 אל you to H376 האישׁ the man H834 אשׁר whom H1245 תבקשׁון ye seek. H1980 וילך But he led H853 אותם   H8111 שׁמרונה׃ them to Samaria.

  20 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass, H935 כבאם when they were come H8111 שׁמרון into Samaria, H559 ויאמר said, H477 אלישׁע that Elisha H3068 יהוה LORD, H6491 פקח open H853 את   H5869 עיני the eyes H428 אלה of these H7200 ויראו that they may see. H6491 ויפקח opened H3068 יהוה And the LORD H853 את   H5869 עיניהם their eyes, H7200 ויראו and they saw; H2009 והנה and, behold, H8432 בתוך in the midst H8111 שׁמרון׃ of Samaria.

  21 H559 ויאמר said H4428 מלך And the king H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H413 אל unto H477 אלישׁע Elisha, H7200 כראתו when he saw H853 אותם   H5221 האכה shall I smite H5221 אכה shall I smite H1 אבי׃ them, My father,

  22 H559 ויאמר And he answered, H3808 לא Thou shalt not H5221 תכה smite H834 האשׁר those whom H7617 שׁבית thou hast taken captive H2719 בחרבך with thy sword H7198 ובקשׁתך and with thy bow? H859 אתה wouldest thou H5221 מכה smite H7760 שׂים set H3899 לחם bread H4325 ומים and water H6440 לפניהם before H398 ויאכלו them, that they may eat H8354 וישׁתו and drink, H1980 וילכו and go H413 אל to H113 אדניהם׃ their master.

  26 H1961 ויהי was H4428 מלך And as the king H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H5674 עבר passing by H5921 על upon H2346 החמה the wall, H802 ואשׁה a woman H6817 צעקה there cried H413 אליו unto H559 לאמר him, saying, H3467 הושׁיעה Help, H113 אדני my lord, H4428 המלך׃ O king.

  27 H559 ויאמר And he said, H408 אל do not H3467 יושׁעך help H3068 יהוה If the LORD H370 מאין thee, whence H3467 אושׁיעך shall I help H4480 המן thee, whence H1637 הגרן the barnfloor, H176 או or H4480 מן thee? out of H3342 היקב׃ the winepress?

  28 H559 ויאמר said H4428 לה המלך And the king H4100 מה unto her, What H559 לך ותאמר aileth thee? And she answered, H802 האשׁה woman H2063 הזאת This H559 אמרה said H413 אלי unto H5414 תני me, Give H853 את   H1121 בנך thy son, H398 ונאכלנו that we may eat H3117 היום him today, H853 ואת   H1121 בני my son H398 נאכל and we will eat H4279 מחר׃ tomorrow.

  29 H1310 ונבשׁל So we boiled H853 את   H1121 בני my son, H398 ונאכלהו and did eat H559 ואמר him: and I said H413 אליה unto H3117 ביום day, H312 האחר her on the next H5414 תני Give H853 את   H1121 בנך thy son, H398 ונאכלנו that we may eat H2244 ותחבא him: and she hath hid H853 את   H1121 בנה׃ her son.

  31 H559 ויאמר Then he said, H3541 כה so H6213 יעשׂה do H430 לי אלהים God H3541 וכה also H3254 יוסף and more H518 אם to me, if H5975 יעמד shall stand H7218 ראשׁ the head H477 אלישׁע of Elisha H1121 בן the son H8202 שׁפט of Shaphat H5921 עליו on H3117 היום׃ him this day.

  32 H477 ואלישׁע But Elisha H3427 ישׁב sat H1004 בביתו in his house, H2205 והזקנים and the elders H3427 ישׁבים sat H854 אתו with H7971 וישׁלח him; and sent H376 אישׁ a man H6440 מלפניו from before H2962 בטרם him: but ere H935 יבא came H4397 המלאך the messenger H413 אליו to H1931 והוא him, he H559 אמר said H413 אל to H2205 הזקנים the elders, H7200 הראיתם See H3588 כי ye how H7971 שׁלח hath sent H1121 בן son H7523 המרצח of a murderer H2088 הזה this H5493 להסיר to take away H853 את   H7218 ראשׁי mine head? H7200 ראו look, H935 כבא cometh, H4397 המלאך when the messenger H5462 סגרו shut H1817 הדלת the door, H3905 ולחצתם   H853 אתו   H1817 בדלת at the door: H3808 הלוא not H6963 קול the sound H7272 רגלי feet H113 אדניו of his master's H310 אחריו׃ behind

  33 H5750 עודנו And while he yet H1696 מדבר talked H5973 עמם with H2009 והנה them, behold, H4397 המלאך the messenger H3381 ירד came down H413 אליו unto H559 ויאמר him: and he said, H2009 הנה Behold, H2063 זאת this H7451 הרעה evil H853 מאת   H3068 יהוה the LORD; H4100 מה what H3176 אוחיל should I wait H3068 ליהוה for the LORD H5750 עוד׃ any longer?

  1 H559 ויאמר said, H477 אלישׁע Then Elisha H8085 שׁמעו Hear H1697 דבר ye the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD; H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H6256 כעת about this time H4279 מחר Tomorrow H5429 סאה a measure H5560 סלת of fine flour H8255 בשׁקל for a shekel, H5429 וסאתים and two measures H8184 שׂערים of barley H8255 בשׁקל for a shekel, H8179 בשׁער in the gate H8111 שׁמרון׃ of Samaria.

  2 H6030 ויען answered H7991 השׁלישׁ Then a lord H834 אשׁר whose H4428 למלך the king H8172 נשׁען leaned H5921 על on H3027 ידו hand H853 את   H376 אישׁ the man H430 האלהים of God, H559 ויאמר and said, H2009 הנה Behold, H3068 יהוה the LORD H6213 עשׂה would make H699 ארבות windows H8064 בשׁמים in heaven, H1961 היהיה be? H1697 הדבר thing H2088 הזה might this H559 ויאמר And he said, H2005 הנכה   H7200 ראה thou shalt see H5869 בעיניך with thine eyes, H8033 ומשׁם thereof. H3808 לא but shalt not H398 תאכל׃ eat

  3 H702 וארבעה four H376 אנשׁים men H1961 היו And there were H6879 מצרעים leprous H6607 פתח at the entering in H8179 השׁער of the gate: H559 ויאמרו and they said H376 אישׁ one H413 אל to H7453 רעהו another, H4100 מה Why H587 אנחנו we H3427 ישׁבים sit H6311 פה here H5704 עד until H4191 מתנו׃ we die?

  4 H518 אם If H559 אמרנו we say, H935 נבוא We will enter H5892 העיר into the city, H7458 והרעב then the famine H5892 בעיר in the city, H4191 ומתנו and we shall die H8033 שׁם there: H518 ואם and if H3427 ישׁבנו we sit H6311 פה still here, H4191 ומתנו we die H6258 ועתה also. Now H1980 לכו therefore come, H5307 ונפלה and let us fall H413 אל unto H4264 מחנה the host H758 ארם of the Syrians: H518 אם if H2421 יחינו they save us alive, H2421 נחיה we shall live; H518 ואם and if H4191 ימיתנו they kill H4191 ומתנו׃ us, we shall but die.

  6 H136 ואדני For the Lord H8085 השׁמיע to hear H853 את   H4264 מחנה had made the host H758 ארם of the Syrians H6963 קול a noise H7393 רכב of chariots, H6963 קול and a noise H5483 סוס of horses, H6963 קול the noise H2428 חיל host: H1419 גדול of a great H559 ויאמרו and they said H376 אישׁ one H413 אל to H251 אחיו another, H2009 הנה Lo, H7936 שׂכר hath hired H5921 עלינו against H4428 מלך the king H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H853 את   H4428 מלכי us the kings H2850 החתים of the Hittites, H853 ואת   H4428 מלכי and the kings H4714 מצרים of the Egyptians, H935 לבוא to come H5921 עלינו׃ upon

  9 H559 ויאמרו Then they said H376 אישׁ one H413 אל to H7453 רעהו another, H3808 לא not H3651 כן well: H587 אנחנו We H6213 עשׂים do H3117 היום day H2088 הזה this H3117 יום a day H1309 בשׂרה of good tidings, H1931 הוא   H587 ואנחנו and we H2814 מחשׁים hold our peace: H2442 וחכינו if we tarry H5704 עד till H216 אור light, H1242 הבקר the morning H4672 ומצאנו will come upon H5771 עוון some mischief H6258 ועתה us: now H1980 לכו therefore come, H935 ונבאה that we may go H5046 ונגידה and tell H1004 בית household. H4428 המלך׃ the king's

  10 H935 ויבאו So they came H7121 ויקראו and called H413 אל unto H7778 שׁער the porter H5892 העיר of the city: H5046 ויגידו and they told H1992 להם they H559 לאמר them, saying, H935 באנו We came H413 אל to H4264 מחנה the camp H758 ארם of the Syrians, H2009 והנה and, behold, H369 אין no H8033 שׁם there, H376 אישׁ man H6963 וקול neither voice H120 אדם of man, H3588 כי but H518 אם but H5483 הסוס horses H631 אסור tied, H2543 והחמור and asses H631 אסור tied, H168 ואהלים and the tents H834 כאשׁר as H1992 המה׃  

  12 H6965 ויקם arose H4428 המלך And the king H3915 לילה in the night, H559 ויאמר and said H413 אל unto H5650 עבדיו his servants, H5046 אגידה show H4994 נא I will now H853 לכם את   H834 אשׁר you what H6213 עשׂו have done H758 לנו ארם the Syrians H3045 ידעו to us. They know H3588 כי that H7457 רעבים hungry; H587 אנחנו we H3318 ויצאו therefore are they gone out H4480 מן of H4264 המחנה the camp H2247 להחבה to hide themselves H7704 בהשׂדה in the field, H559 לאמר saying, H3588 כי When H3318 יצאו they come out H4480 מן of H5892 העיר the city, H8610 ונתפשׂם we shall catch H2416 חיים them alive, H413 ואל into H5892 העיר the city. H935 נבא׃ and get

  13 H6030 ויען answered H259 אחד And one H5650 מעבדיו of his servants H559 ויאמר and said, H3947 ויקחו Let take, H4994 נא I pray thee, H2568 חמשׁה five H4480 מן of his servants H5483 הסוסים the horses H7604 הנשׁארים that remain, H834 אשׁר which H7604 נשׁארו are left H2009 בה הנם in the city, (behold, H3605 ככל they as all H1995 ההמון the multitude H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H834 אשׁר that H7604 נשׁארו are left H2005 בה הנם   H3605 ככל they even as all H1995 המון the multitude H3478 ישׂראל of the Israelites H834 אשׁר that H8552 תמו are consumed:) H7971 ונשׁלחה and let us send H7200 ונראה׃ and see.

  14 H3947 ויקחו They took H8147 שׁני therefore two H7393 רכב chariot H5483 סוסים horses; H7971 וישׁלח sent H4428 המלך and the king H310 אחרי after H4264 מחנה the host H758 ארם of the Syrians, H559 לאמר saying, H1980 לכו Go H7200 וראו׃ and see.

  18 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H1696 כדבר had spoken H376 אישׁ as the man H430 האלהים of God H413 אל to H4428 המלך the king, H559 לאמר saying, H5429 סאתים Two measures H8184 שׂערים of barley H8255 בשׁקל for a shekel, H5429 וסאה and a measure H5560 סלת of fine flour H8255 בשׁקל for a shekel, H1961 יהיה shall be H6256 כעת about this time H4279 מחר tomorrow H8179 בשׁער in the gate H8111 שׁמרון׃ of Samaria:

  19 H6030 ויען answered H7991 השׁלישׁ And that lord H853 את   H376 אישׁ the man H430 האלהים of God, H559 ויאמר and said, H2009 והנה Now, behold, H3068 יהוה the LORD H6213 עשׂה should make H699 ארבות windows H8064 בשׁמים in heaven, H1961 היהיה be? H1697 כדבר a thing H2088 הזה might such H559 ויאמר And he said, H2005 הנך   H7200 ראה thou shalt see H5869 בעיניך it with thine eyes, H8033 ומשׁם thereof. H3808 לא but shalt not H398 תאכל׃ eat

  1 H477 ואלישׁע Elisha H1696 דבר Then spoke H413 אל unto H802 האשׁה the woman, H834 אשׁר whose H2421 החיה he had restored to life, H853 את   H1121 בנה son H559 לאמר saying, H6965 קומי Arise, H1980 ולכי and go H859 אתי thou H1004 וביתך and thine household, H1481 וגורי and sojourn H834 באשׁר wheresoever H1481 תגורי thou canst sojourn: H3588 כי for H7121 קרא hath called H3068 יהוה the LORD H7458 לרעב for a famine; H1571 וגם and it shall also H935 בא come H413 אל upon H776 הארץ the land H7651 שׁבע seven H8141 שׁנים׃ years.

  4 H4428 והמלך And the king H1696 מדבר talked H413 אל with H1522 גחזי Gehazi H5288 נער the servant H376 אישׁ of the man H430 האלהים of God, H559 לאמר saying, H5608 ספרה Tell H4994 נא me, I pray thee, H853 לי את   H3605 כל all H1419 הגדלות the great things H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂה hath done. H477 אלישׁע׃ Elisha

  5 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass, H1931 הוא as he H5608 מספר was telling H4428 למלך the king H853 את   H834 אשׁר how H2421 החיה he had restored to life, H853 את   H4191 המת   H2009 והנה that, behold, H802 האשׁה the woman, H834 אשׁר whose H2421 החיה restored to life. H853 את   H1121 בנה son H6817 צעקת cried H413 אל to H4428 המלך the king H5921 על for H1004 ביתה her house H5921 ועל and for H7704 שׂדה her land. H559 ויאמר said, H1522 גחזי And Gehazi H113 אדני My lord, H4428 המלך O king, H2063 זאת this H802 האשׁה the woman, H2088 וזה and this H1121 בנה her son, H834 אשׁר whom H2421 החיה   H477 אלישׁע׃ Elisha
