H2145 זכר a man H4069 מדוע wherefore H7200 ראיתי do I see H3605 כל every H1397 גבר man H3027 ידיו with his hands H5921 על on H2504 חלציו his loins, H3205 כיולדה as a woman in travail, H2015 ונהפכו are turned H3605 כל and all H6440 פנים faces H3420 לירקון׃ into paleness?

7 H1945 הוי Alas! H3588 כי for H1419 גדול great, H3117 היום day H1931 ההוא that H369 מאין so that none H3644 כמהו like it: H6256 ועת even the time H6869 צרה trouble; H1931 היא it H3290 ליעקב of Jacob's H4480 וממנה so that none H3467 יושׁע׃ but he shall be saved

8 H1961 והיה For it shall come to pass H3117 ביום day, H1931 ההוא in that H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts, H7665 אשׁבר I will break H5923 עלו his yoke H5921 מעל from off H6677 צוארך thy neck, H4147 ומוסרותיך thy bonds, H5423 אנתק and will burst H3808 ולא shall no H5647 יעבדו serve H5750 בו עוד more H2114 זרים׃ and strangers

9 H5647 ועבדו But they shall serve H853 את H3069 יהוה H430 אלהיהם their God, H853 ואת H1732 דוד and David H4428 מלכם their king, H834 אשׁר whom H6965 אקים I will raise up H1992 להם׃

10 H859 ואתה thou H408 אל not, H3372 תירא Therefore fear H5650 עבדי O my servant H3290 יעקב Jacob, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD; H408 ואל neither H2865 תחת be dismayed, H3478 ישׂראל O Israel: H3588 כי for, H2005 הנני H3467 מושׁיעך I will save H7350 מרחוק thee from afar, H853 ואת H2233 זרעך and thy seed H776 מארץ from the land H7628 שׁבים of their captivity; H7725 ושׁב shall return, H3290 יעקב and Jacob H8252 ושׁקט and shall be in rest, H7599 ושׁאנן and be quiet, H369 ואין and none H2729 מחריד׃ shall make afraid.

16 H3651 לכן Therefore H3605 כל all H398 אכליך they that devour H398 יאכלו thee shall be devoured; H3605 וכל and all H6862 צריך thine adversaries, H3605 כלם every one H7628 בשׁבי into captivity; H1980 ילכו of them, shall go H1961 והיו thee shall be H7601 שׁאסיך and they that spoil H4933 למשׁסה a spoil, H3605 וכל and all H962 בזזיך that prey H5414 אתן upon thee will I give H957 לבז׃ for a prey.

18 H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD; H2005 הנני H7725 שׁב I will bring again H7622 שׁבות the captivity H168 אהלי tents, H3290 יעקוב of Jacob's H4908 ומשׁכנתיו on his dwelling places; H7355 ארחם and have mercy H1129 ונבנתה shall be built H5892 עיר and the city H5921 על upon H8510 תלה her own heap, H759 וארמון and the palace H5921 על after H4941 משׁפטו the manner H3427 ישׁב׃ shall remain

19 H3318 ויצא them shall proceed H1992 מהם H8426 תודה thanksgiving H6963 וקול and the voice H7832 משׂחקים of them that make merry: H7235 והרבתים and I will multiply H3808 ולא them, and they shall not H4591 ימעטו be few; H3513 והכבדתים I will also glorify H3808 ולא them, and they shall not H6819 יצערו׃ be small.

20 H1961 והיו also shall be H1121 בניו Their children H6924 כקדם as formerly, H5712 ועדתו and their congregation H6440 לפני before H3559 תכון shall be established H6485 ופקדתי H5921 על H3605 כל all H3905 לחציו׃ that oppress

21 H1961 והיה shall be H117 אדירו And their nobles H4480 ממנו of H4910 ומשׁלו themselves, and their governor H7130 מקרבו from the midst H3318 יצא shall proceed H7126 והקרבתיו of them; and I will cause him to draw near, H5066 ונגשׁ and he shall approach H413 אלי unto H3588 כי me: for H4310 מי who H1931 הוא that H2088 זה this H6148 ערב engaged H853 את H3820 לבו his heart H5066 לגשׁת to approach H413 אלי unto H5002 נאם me? saith H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

22 H1961 והייתם And ye shall be H5971 לי לעם my people, H595 ואנכי and I H1961 אהיה will be H430 לכם לאלהים׃ your God.

23 H2009 הנה Behold, H5591 סערת the whirlwind H3068 יהוה of the LORD H2534 חמה with fury, H3318 יצאה goeth forth H5591 סער whirlwind: H1641 מתגורר a continuing H5921 על upon H7218 ראשׁ the head H7563 רשׁעים of the wicked. H2342 יחול׃ it shall fall with pain

24 H3808 לא shall not H7725 ישׁוב return, H2740 חרון The fierce H639 אף anger H3068 יהוה of the LORD H5704 עד until H6213 עשׂתו he have done H5704 ועד and until H6965 הקימו he have performed H4209 מזמות the intents H3820 לבו of his heart: H319 באחרית in the latter H3117 הימים days H995 תתבוננו׃ ye shall consider

1 H6256 בעת time, H1931 ההיא At the same H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H1961 אהיה will I be H430 לאלהים the God H3605 לכל of all H4940 משׁפחות the families H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H1992 והמה and they H1961 יהיו shall be H5971 לי לעם׃ my people.

2 H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H4672 מצא found H2580 חן grace H4057 במדבר in the wilderness; H5971 עם The people H8300 שׂרידי left H2719 חרב of the sword H1980 הלוך when I went H7280 להרגיעו to cause him to rest. H3478 ישׂראל׃ Israel,

3 H7350 מרחוק of old H3068 יהוה The LORD H7200 נראה hath appeared H160 לי ואהבת love: H5769 עולם thee with an everlasting H157 אהבתיך unto me, Yea, I have loved H5921 על therefore H3651 כן therefore H4900 משׁכתיך have I drawn H2617 חסד׃ with lovingkindness

4 H5750 עוד Again H1129 אבנך I will build H1129 ונבנית thee, and thou shalt be built, H1330 בתולת O virgin H3478 ישׂראל of Israel: H5750 עוד thou shalt again H5710 תעדי be adorned H8596 תפיך with thy tabrets, H3318 ויצאת and shalt go forth H4234 במחול in the dances H7832 משׂחקים׃ of them that make merry.

5 H5750 עוד Thou shalt yet H5193 תטעי plant H3754 כרמים vines H2022 בהרי upon the mountains H8111 שׁמרון of Samaria: H5193 נטעו the planters H5193 נטעים shall plant, H2490 וחללו׃ and shall eat as common things.

6 H3588 כי For H3426 ישׁ there shall be H3117 יום a day, H7121 קראו shall cry, H5341 נצרים the watchmen H2022 בהר upon the mount H669 אפרים Ephraim H6965 קומו Arise H5927 ונעלה ye, and let us go up H6726 ציון to Zion H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהינו׃ our God.

7 H3588 כי For H3541 כה thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD; H7442 רנו Sing H3290 ליעקב for Jacob, H8057 שׂמחה with gladness H6670 וצהלו and shout H7218 בראשׁ among the chief H1471 הגוים of the nations: H8085 השׁמיעו publish H1984 הללו ye, praise H559 ואמרו ye, and say, H3467 הושׁע save H3068 יהוה O LORD, H853 את H5971 עמך thy people, H853 את H7611 שׁארית the remnant H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

8 H2005 הנני H935 מביא I will bring H853 אותם H776 מארץ country, H6828 צפון them from the north H6908 וקבצתים and gather H3411 מירכתי them from the coasts H776 ארץ of the earth, H5787 בם עור with them the blind H6455 ופסח and the lame, H2030 הרה H3205 וילדת and her that travaileth with child H3162 יחדו together: H6951 קהל company H1419 גדול a great H7725 ישׁובו shall return H2008 הנה׃ thither.

9 H1065 בבכי with weeping, H935 יבאו They shall come H8469 ובתחנונים and with supplications H2986 אובילם will I lead H1980 אוליכם them: I will cause them to walk H413 אל by H5158 נחלי the rivers H4325 מים of waters H1870 בדרך way, H3477 ישׁר in a straight H3808 לא wherein they shall not H3782 יכשׁלו stumble: H3588 בה כי for H1961 הייתי I am H3478 לישׂראל to Israel, H1 לאב a father H669 ואפרים and Ephraim H1060 בכרי my firstborn. H1931 הוא׃

10 H8085 שׁמעו Hear H1697 דבר the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H1471 גוים O ye nations, H5046 והגידו and declare H339 באיים in the isles H4801 ממרחק afar off, H559 ואמרו and say, H2219 מזרה He that scattered H3478 ישׂראל Israel H6908 יקבצנו will gather H8104 ושׁמרו him, and keep H7462 כרעה him, as a shepherd H5739 עדרו׃ his flock.

11 H3588 כי For H6299 פדה hath redeemed H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 את H3290 יעקב Jacob, H1350 וגאלו and ransomed H3027 מיד him from the hand H2389 חזק of stronger H4480 ממנו׃ him from the hand

12 H935 ובאו Therefore they shall come H7442 ורננו and sing H4791 במרום in the height H6726 ציון of Zion, H5102 ונהרו and shall flow together H413 אל to H2898 טוב the goodness H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H5921 על for H1715 דגן wheat, H5921 ועל and for H8492 תירשׁ wine, H5921 ועל and for H3323 יצהר oil, H5921 ועל and for H1121 בני the young H6629 צאן of the flock H1241 ובקר and of the herd: H1961 והיתה shall be H5315 נפשׁם and their soul H1588 כגן garden; H7302 רוה as a watered H3808 ולא and they shall not H3254 יוסיפו any more H1669 לדאבה sorrow H5750 עוד׃

13 H227 אז Then H8055 תשׂמח rejoice H1330 בתולה shall the virgin H4234 במחול in the dance, H970 ובחרים both young men H2205 וזקנים and old H3162 יחדו together: H2015 והפכתי for I will turn H60 אבלם their mourning H8342 לשׂשׂון into joy, H5162 ונחמתים and will comfort H8055 ושׂמחתים them, and make them rejoice H3015 מיגונם׃ from their sorrow.

14 H7301 ורויתי And I will satiate H5315 נפשׁ the soul H3548 הכהנים of the priests H1880 דשׁן with fatness, H5971 ועמי and my people H854 את H2898 טובי my goodness, H7646 ישׂבעו shall be satisfied with H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

15 H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD; H6963 קול A voice H7414 ברמה in Ramah, H8085 נשׁמע was heard H5092 נהי lamentation, H1065 בכי weeping; H8563 תמרורים bitter H7354 רחל Rachel H1058 מבכה weeping H5921 על for H1121 בניה her children H3985 מאנה refused H5162 להנחם to be comforted H5921 על for H1121 בניה her children, H3588 כי because H369 איננו׃ they not.

16 H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD; H4513 מנעי Refrain H6963 קולך thy voice H1065 מבכי from weeping, H5869 ועיניך and thine eyes H1832 מדמעה from tears: H3588 כי for H3426 ישׁ shall be H7939 שׂכר rewarded, H6468 לפעלתך thy work H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD; H7725 ושׁבו and they shall come again H776 מארץ from the land H341 אויב׃ of the enemy.

17 H3426 וישׁ And there is H8615 תקוה hope H319 לאחריתך in thine end, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H7725 ושׁבו shall come again H1121 בנים that thy children H1366 לגבולם׃ to their own border.

18 H8085 שׁמוע H8085 שׁמעתי H669 אפרים Ephraim H5110 מתנודד bemoaning himself H3256 יסרתני Thou hast chastised H3256 ואוסר me, and I was chastised, H5695 כעגל as a bullock H3808 לא unaccustomed H3925 למד unaccustomed H7725 השׁיבני turn H7725 ואשׁובה thou me, and I shall be turned; H3588 כי for H859 אתה thou H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי׃ my God.

19 H3588 כי Surely H310 אחרי after that H7725 שׁובי I was turned, H5162 נחמתי I repented; H310 ואחרי and after that H3045 הודעי I was instructed, H5606 ספקתי I smote H5921 על upon H3409 ירך thigh: H954 בשׁתי I was ashamed, H1571 וגם yea, even H3637 נכלמתי confounded, H3588 כי because H5375 נשׂאתי I did bear H2781 חרפת the reproach H5271 נעורי׃ of my youth.

20 H1121 הבן son? H3357 יקיר my dear H669 לי אפרים Ephraim H518 אם H3206 ילד child? H8191 שׁעשׁעים a pleasant H3588 כי for H1767 מדי since H1696 דברי I spoke H2142 בו זכר H2142 אזכרנו H5750 עוד him still: H5921 על therefore H3651 כן therefore H1993 המו are troubled H4578 מעי my bowels H7355 לו רחם H7355 ארחמנו H5002 נאם upon him, saith H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

21 H5324 הציבי Set thee up H6725 לך צינים waymarks, H7760 שׂמי make H8564 לך תמרורים thee high heaps: H7896 שׁתי set H3820 לבך thine heart H4546 למסלה toward the highway, H1870 דרך the way H1980 הלכתי thou wentest: H7725 שׁובי turn again, H1330 בתולת O virgin H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H7725 שׁבי turn again H413 אל to H5892 עריך thy cities. H428 אלה׃ these

22 H5704 עד H4970 מתי H2559 תתחמקין wilt thou go about, H1323 הבת daughter? H7728 השׁובבה O thou backsliding H3588 כי for H1254 ברא hath created H3068 יהוה the LORD H2319 חדשׁה a new thing H776 בארץ in the earth, H5347 נקבה A woman H5437 תסובב shall compass H1397 גבר׃ a man.

23 H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts, H430 אלהי the God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel; H5750 עוד As yet H559 יאמרו they shall use H853 את H1697 הדבר speech H2088 הזה this H776 בארץ in the land H3063 יהודה of Judah H5892 ובעריו and in the cities H7725 בשׁובי thereof, when I shall bring again H853 את H7622 שׁבותם their captivity; H1288 יברכך bless H3068 יהוה The LORD H5116 נוה thee, O habitation H6664 צדק of justice, H2022 הר mountain H6944 הקדשׁ׃ of holiness.

24 H3427 וישׁבו And there shall dwell H3063 בה יהודה in Judah H3605 וכל itself, and in all H5892 עריו the cities H3162 יחדו thereof together, H406 אכרים husbandmen, H5265 ונסעו and they go forth H5739 בעדר׃ with flocks.

25 H3588 כי For H7301 הרויתי I have satiated H5315 נפשׁ soul, H5889 עיפה the weary H3605 וכל every H5315 נפשׁ soul. H1669 דאבה sorrowful H4390 מלאתי׃ and I have replenished

26 H5921 על Upon H2063 זאת this H6974 הקיצתי I awaked, H7200 ואראה and beheld; H8142 ושׁנתי and my sleep H6149 ערבה׃ was sweet

27 H2009 הנה Behold, H3117 ימים the days H935 באים come, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H2232 וזרעתי that I will sow H853 את H1004 בית the house H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H853 ואת H1004 בית and the house H3063 יהודה of Judah H2233 זרע with the seed H120 אדם of man, H2233 וזרע and with the seed H929 בהמה׃ of beast.

28 H1961 והיה And it shall come to pass, H834 כאשׁר like as H8245 שׁקדתי I have watched H5921 עליהם over H5428 לנתושׁ them, to pluck up, H5422 ולנתוץ and to break down, H2040 ולהרס and to throw down, H6 ולהאביד and to destroy, H7489 ולהרע and to afflict; H3651 כן so H8245 אשׁקד will I watch H5921 עליהם over H1129 לבנות them, to build, H5193 ולנטוע and to plant, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

29 H3117 בימים days H1992 ההם In those H3808 לא no H559 יאמרו they shall say H5750 עוד more, H1 אבות The fathers H398 אכלו have eaten H1155 בסר a sour grape, H8127 ושׁני teeth H1121 בנים and the children's H6949 תקהינה׃ are set on edge.

30 H3588 כי H518 אם H376 אישׁ every one H5771 בעונו for his own iniquity: H4191 ימות shall die H3605 כל every H120 האדם man H398 האכל that eateth H1155 הבסר the sour grape, H6949 תקהינה shall be set on edge. H8127 שׁניו׃ his teeth

31 H2009 הנה Behold, H3117 ימים the days H935 באים come, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H3772 וכרתי that I will make H854 את with H1004 בית the house H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H854 ואת and with H1004 בית the house H3063 יהודה of Judah: H1285 ברית covenant H2319 חדשׁה׃ a new

32 H3808 לא Not H1285 כברית according to the covenant H834 אשׁר that H3772 כרתי I made H854 את with H1 אבותם their fathers H3117 ביום in the day H2388 החזיקי I took H3027 בידם them by the hand H3318 להוציאם to bring H776 מארץ them out of the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt; H834 אשׁר which H1992 המה they H6565 הפרו broke, H853 את H1285 בריתי my covenant H595 ואנכי although I H1166 בעלתי was a husband H5002 בם נאם unto them, saith H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD:

33 H3588 כי But H2063 זאת this H1285 הברית the covenant H834 אשׁר that H3772 אכרת I will make H854 את with H1004 בית the house H3478 ישׂראל of Israel; H310 אחרי After H3117 הימים days, H1992 ההם those H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H5414 נתתי I will put H853 את H8451 תורתי my law H7130 בקרבם in their inward parts, H5921 ועל it in H3820 לבם their hearts; H3789 אכתבנה and write H1961 והייתי and will be H430 להם לאלהים their God, H1992 והמה and they H1961 יהיו shall be H5971 לי לעם׃ my people.

34 H3808 ולא no H3925 ילמדו And they shall teach H5750 עוד more H376 אישׁ every man H853 את H7453 רעהו his neighbor, H376 ואישׁ and every man H853 את H251 אחיו his brother, H559 לאמר saying, H3045 דעו Know H853 את H3068 יהוה the LORD: H3588 כי for H3605 כולם they shall all H3045 ידעו know H853 אותי H6996 למקטנם me, from the least H5704 ועד of them unto H1419 גדולם the greatest H5002 נאם of them, saith H3068 יהוה the LORD: H3588 כי for H5545 אסלח I will forgive H5771 לעונם their iniquity, H2403 ולחטאתם their sin H3808 לא no H2142 אזכר and I will remember H5750 עוד׃ more.

35 H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H5414 נתן which giveth H8121 שׁמשׁ the sun H216 לאור for a light H3119 יומם by day, H2708 חקת the ordinances H3394 ירח of the moon H3556 וכוכבים and of the stars H216 לאור for a light H3915 לילה by night, H7280 רגע which divideth H3220 הים the sea H1993 ויהמו thereof roar; H1530 גליו when the waves H3068 יהוה The LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts H8034 שׁמו׃ his name:

36 H518 אם If H4185 ימשׁו depart H2706 החקים ordinances H428 האלה those H6440 מלפני from before H5002 נאם me, saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H1571 גם also H2233 זרע the seed H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H7673 ישׁבתו shall cease H1961 מהיות from being H1471 גוי a nation H6440 לפני before H3605 כל me forever. H3117 הימים׃ me forever.

37 H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD; H518 אם If H4058 ימדו can be measured, H8064 שׁמים heaven H4605 מלמעלה above H2713 ויחקרו searched out H4146 מוסדי and the foundations H776 ארץ of the earth H4295 למטה beneath, H1571 גם will also H589 אני I H3988 אמאס cast off H3605 בכל all H2233 זרע the seed H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H5921 על for H3605 כל all H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂו they have done, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

38 H2009 הנה Behold, H3117 ימים the days H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H1129 ונבנתה shall be built H5892 העיר that the city H3068 ליהוה to the LORD H4026 ממגדל from the tower H2606 חננאל of Hananeel H8179 שׁער unto the gate H6438 הפנה׃ of the corner.
