Romanian⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁶ De aceea, aşa vorbeşte Domnul, Dumnezeu:,,Vai de cetatea cea setoasă de sînge, cazanul cel plin de rugină, şi de pe care nu se ia rugina! Scoateţi bucăţile din el unele după altele, fără să trageţi la sorţi. ⁷ Căci sîngele pe care l -a vărsat ea este încă în mijlocul ei. L -a pus pe stînca goală, nu l -a vărsat pe pămînt, ca să -l acopere apoi cu ţărînă. ⁸ Ca să-Mi arăt urgia, ca să Mă răzbun, i-am vărsat sîngele pe stînca goală, pentruca să nu fie acoperit. ⁹ De aceea, aşa vorbeşte Domnul, Dumnezeu:,,Vai de cetatea cea setoasă de sînge! Vreau să fac un rug mare! ¹⁰ Îngrămădeşte multe lemne, aprinde focul, fierbe bine carnea, fă fertura groasă, ca să se ardă şi ciolanele. ¹¹ Apoi pune cazanul gol pe jăratic, ca să se încălzească, să i se înferbînte arama, să i se topească murdăria din lăuntru, şi să i se şteargă rugina. ¹² Trudă de geaba! Căci rugina de care este plin nu se deslipeşte de el; rugina nu se va lua de pe el de cît prin foc, ¹³ şi tu doreşti iarăş nelegiuire în spurcăciunea ta! Pentrucă am vrut să te curăţ şi nu te-ai făcut curată, nu vei mai fi curăţită de spurcăciunea ta pînă Îmi voi potoli mînia asupra ta. ¹⁴ Eu, Domnul, am vorbit! Lucrul acesta se va întîmpla, şi Eu îl voi împlini! Nu Mă voi lăsa, nu voi avea milă, nici nu Mă voi căi. Vei fi judecată după puterea ta şi după faptele tale, zice Domnul, Dumnezeu.``

Кусок за куском повитягуй це з нього; на нього нехай не впаде жеребок! ⁷ Кров бо його серед нього, він на голу скелю її помістив, не вилив на землю її, щоб порохом вкрити її. ⁸ Щоб лютість підійняти, щоб помститися, Я дам його кров на голу скелю, щоб вона непокрита була. ⁹ Тому так Господь Бог промовляє: Горе місту цьому душогубному, збільшу огнище й Я! ¹⁰ Підклади дров, розпали цей огонь, довари м'ясо, і вилий росіл, а кості хай спалені будуть. ¹¹ І постав його порожнім на вугілля його, щоб він розігрівся, і щоб мідь його розпалилась, і щоб розтопилась у ньому нечистість його, щоб іржа його зникла. ¹² Увесь труд надармо пішов, і не зійшла з нього його велика іржа, в огонь його з його іржею! ¹³ У твоїй нечистоті є розпуста. За те, що Я чистив тебе, але чистим не став ти, ти з своєї нечистости вже не відчистишся, аж поки Я не заспокою Свою лютість на тобі. ¹⁴ Я, Господь, це казав, і надійде воно! І зроблю, не звільню, і не змилуюся, за твоїми дорогами та за твоїми ділами засудять тебе, це Господь Бог промовляє!
