KJV_Strongs(i)
H6667 Zedekiah H259 was one H6242 and twenty H8141 years H1121 old H4427 when he began to reign [H8800]   H4427 , and he reigned [H8804]   H259 eleven H6240   H8141 years H3389 in Jerusalem H517 . And his mother's H8034 name H2537 was Hamutal H1323 the daughter H3414 of Jeremiah H3841 of Libnah.
H6213 And he did [H8799]   H7451 that which was evil H5869 in the eyes H3068 of the LORD H3079 , according to all that Jehoiakim H6213 had done [H8804]  .
H5921 For through H639 the anger H3068 of the LORD H3389 it came to pass in Jerusalem H3063 and Judah H7993 , till he had cast them out [H8687]   H6440 from his presence H6667 , that Zedekiah H4775 rebelled [H8799]   H4428 against the king H894 of Babylon.
H8671 And it came to pass in the ninth H8141 year H4427 of his reign [H8800]   H6224 , in the tenth H2320 month H6218 , in the tenth H2320 day of the month H5019 , that Nebuchadrezzar H4428 king H894 of Babylon H935 came [H8804]   H2428 , he and all his army H3389 , against Jerusalem H2583 , and pitched [H8799]   H1129 against it, and built [H8799]   H1785 forts H5439 against it round about.
H935 So [H8799]   H5892 the city H4692 was besieged H6249 unto the eleventh H6240   H8141 year H4428 of king H6667 Zedekiah.
H7243 And in the fourth H2320 month H8672 , in the ninth H2320 day of the month H7458 , the famine H2388 was sore [H8799]   H5892 in the city H3899 , so that there was no bread H5971 for the people H776 of the land.
H5892 Then the city H1234 was broken up [H8735]   H582 , and all the men H4421 of war H1272 fled [H8799]   H3318 , and went forth [H8799]   H5892 out of the city H3915 by night H1870 by the way H8179 of the gate H2346 between the two walls H4428 , which was by the king's H1588 garden H3778 ; (now the Chaldeans H5892 were by the city H5439 round about H3212 :) and they went [H8799]   H1870 by the way H6160 of the plain.
H2428 But the army H3778 of the Chaldeans H7291 pursued [H8799]   H310 after H4428 the king H5381 , and overtook [H8686]   H6667 Zedekiah H6160 in the plains H3405 of Jericho H2428 ; and all his army H6327 was scattered [H8738]   from him.
H8610 Then they took [H8799]   H4428 the king H5927 , and carried him up [H8686]   H4428 unto the king H894 of Babylon H7247 to Riblah H776 in the land H2574 of Hamath H1696 ; where he gave [H8762]   H4941 judgment upon him.
H4428 And the king H894 of Babylon H7819 slew [H8799]   H1121 the sons H6667 of Zedekiah H5869 before his eyes H7819 : he slew [H8804]   H8269 also all the princes H3063 of Judah H7247 in Riblah.
H5786 Then he put out [H8765]   H5869 the eyes H6667 of Zedekiah H4428 ; and the king H894 of Babylon H631 bound [H8799]   H5178 him in chains H935 , and carried [H8686]   H894 him to Babylon H5414 , and put [H8799]   H1004 him in prison H6486   H3117 till the day H4194 of his death.
H2549 Now in the fifth H2320 month H6218 , in the tenth H2320 day of the month H8672 , which was the nineteenth H6240   H8141   H8141 year H5019 of Nebuchadrezzar H4428 king H894 of Babylon H935 , came [H8804]   H5018 Nebuzaradan H7227 , captain H2876 of the guard H5975 , which served [H8804]   H6440   H4428 the king H894 of Babylon H3389 , into Jerusalem,
H8313 And burned [H8799]   H1004 the house H3068 of the LORD H4428 , and the king's H1004 house H1004 ; and all the houses H3389 of Jerusalem H1004 , and all the houses H1419 of the great H8313 men, burned [H8804]   H784 he with fire:
H2428 And all the army H3778 of the Chaldeans H7227 , that were with the captain H2876 of the guard H5422 , brake down [H8804]   H2346 all the walls H3389 of Jerusalem H5439 round about.
H5018 Then Nebuzaradan H7227 the captain H2876 of the guard H1540 carried away captive [H8689]   H1803 certain of the poor H5971 of the people H3499 , and the residue H5971 of the people H7604 that remained [H8737]   H5892 in the city H5307 , and those that fell away [H8802]   H5307 , that fell [H8804]   H4428 to the king H894 of Babylon H3499 , and the rest H527 of the multitude.
H5018 But Nebuzaradan H7227 the captain H2876 of the guard H7604 left [H8689]   H1803 certain of the poor H776 of the land H3755 for vinedressers H3009 and for husbandmen [H8802]  .
H5982 Also the pillars H5178 of brass H1004 that were in the house H3068 of the LORD H4350 , and the bases H5178 , and the brasen H3220 sea H1004 that was in the house H3068 of the LORD H3778 , the Chaldeans H7665 brake [H8765]   H5375 , and carried [H8799]   H5178 all the brass H894 of them to Babylon.
H5518 The caldrons H3257 also, and the shovels H4212 , and the snuffers H4219 , and the bowls H3709 , and the spoons H3627 , and all the vessels H5178 of brass H8334 wherewith they ministered [H8762]   H3947 , took they away [H8804]  .
H5592 And the basons H4289 , and the firepans H4219 , and the bowls H5518 , and the caldrons H4501 , and the candlesticks H3709 , and the spoons H4518 , and the cups H2091 ; that which was of gold H2091 in gold H3701 , and that which was of silver H3701 in silver H3947 , took H7227 the captain H2876 of the guard H3947 away [H8804]  .
H8147 The two H5982 pillars H259 , one H3220 sea H8147 , and twelve H6240   H5178 brasen H1241 bulls H4350 that were under the bases H4428 , which king H8010 Solomon H6213 had made [H8804]   H1004 in the house H3068 of the LORD H5178 : the brass H3627 of all these vessels H4948 was without weight.
H5982 And concerning the pillars H6967 , the height H259 of one H5982 pillar H8083 was eighteen H6240   H520 cubits H2339 ; and a fillet H8147 of twelve H6240   H520 cubits H5437 did compass [H8799]   H5672 it; and the thickness H702 thereof was four H676 fingers H5014 : it was hollow [H8803]  .
H3805 And a chapiter H5178 of brass H6967 was upon it; and the height H259 of one H3805 chapiter H2568 was five H520 cubits H7639 , with network H7416 and pomegranates H3805 upon the chapiters H5439 round about H5178 , all of brass H8145 . The second H5982 pillar H7416 also and the pomegranates were like unto these.
H8673 And there were ninety H8337 and six H7416 pomegranates H7307 on a side H7416 ; and all the pomegranates H7639 upon the network H3967 were an hundred H5439 round about.
H7227 And the captain H2876 of the guard H3947 took [H8799]   H8304 Seraiah H7218 the chief H3548 priest H6846 , and Zephaniah H4932 the second H3548 priest H7969 , and the three H8104 keepers [H8802]   H5592 of the door:
H3947 He took [H8804]   H5892 also out of the city H259 an H5631 eunuch H6496 , which had the charge H582 of the men H4421 of war H7651 ; and seven H582 men H7200 of them that were near [H8802]   H4428 the king's H6440 person H4672 , which were found [H8738]   H5892 in the city H8269 ; and the principal H5608 scribe [H8802]   H6635 of the host H6633 , who mustered [H8688]   H5971 the people H776 of the land H8346 ; and threescore H376 men H5971 of the people H776 of the land H4672 , that were found [H8737]   H8432 in the midst H5892 of the city.
H5018 So Nebuzaradan H7227 the captain H2876 of the guard H3947 took [H8799]   H3212 them, and brought [H8686]   H4428 them to the king H894 of Babylon H7247 to Riblah.
H4428 And the king H894 of Babylon H5221 smote [H8686]   H4191 them, and put them to death [H8686]   H7247 in Riblah H127 in the land H2574 of Hamath H3063 . Thus Judah H1540 was carried away captive [H8799]   H776 out of his own land.
H5971 This is the people H5019 whom Nebuchadrezzar H1540 carried away captive [H8689]   H7651 : in the seventh H8141 year H7969 three H505 thousand H3064 Jews H7969 and three H6242 and twenty:
H8083 In the eighteenth H6240   H8141 year H5019 of Nebuchadrezzar H1540 he carried away captive [H8689]   H3389 from Jerusalem H8083 eight H3967 hundred H7970 thirty H8147 and two H5315 persons:
H7969 In the three H6242 and twentieth H8141 year H5019 of Nebuchadrezzar H5018 Nebuzaradan H7227 the captain H2876 of the guard H1540 carried away captive [H8689]   H3064 of the Jews H7651 seven H3967 hundred H705 forty H2568 and five H5315 persons H5315 : all the persons H702 were four H505 thousand H8337 and six H3967 hundred.
H7651 And it came to pass in the seven H7970 and thirtieth H8141 year H1546 of the captivity H3078 of Jehoiachin H4428 king H3063 of Judah H8147 , in the twelfth H6240   H2320 month H2568 , in the five H6242 and twentieth H2320 day of the month H192 , that Evilmerodach H4428 king H894 of Babylon H8141 in the first year H4438 of his reign H5375 lifted up [H8804]   H7218 the head H3078 of Jehoiachin H4428 king H3063 of Judah H3318 , and brought him forth [H8686]   H1004 out of prison H3628  ,
H1696 And spake [H8762]   H2896 kindly H5414 unto him, and set [H8799]   H3678 his throne H4605 above H3678 the throne H4428 of the kings H894 that were with him in Babylon,
H8138 And changed [H8765]   H3608 his prison H899 garments H8548 : and he did continually H398 eat [H8804]   H3899 bread H6440 before H3117 him all the days H2416 of his life.
H737 And for his diet H8548 , there was a continual H737 diet H5414 given [H8738]   H4428 him of the king H894 of Babylon H3117 , every H3117 day H1697 a portion H3117 until the day H4194 of his death H3117 , all the days H2416 of his life.
ERV(i) 1 Zedekiah was one and twenty years old when he began to reign; and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem: and his mother’s name was Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah. 2 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that Jehoiakim had done. 3 For through the anger of the LORD did it come to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence: and Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon. 4 And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem, and encamped against it; and they built forts against it round about. 5 So the city was besieged unto the eleventh year of king Zedekiah. 6 In the fourth month, in the ninth day of the month, the famine was sore in the city, so that there was no bread for the people of the land. 7 Then a breach was made in the city, and all the men of war fled, and went forth out of the city by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, which was by the king’s garden; (now the Chaldeans were against the city round about:) and they went by the way of the Arabah. 8 But the army of the Chaldeans pursued after the king, and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho; and all his army was scattered from him. 9 Then they took the king, and carried him up unto the king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath; and he gave judgment upon him. 10 And the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes: he slew also all the princes of Judah in Riblah. 11 And he put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in fetters, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in prison till the day of his death. 12 Now in the fifth month, in the tenth day of the month, which was the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, which stood before the king of Babylon, into Jerusalem: 13 and he burned the house of the LORD, and the king’s house; and all the houses of Jerusalem, even every great house, burned he with fire. 14 And all the army of the Chaldeans, that were with the captain of the guard, brake down all the walls of Jerusalem round about. 15 Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive of the poorest sort of the people, and the residue of the people that were left in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to the king of Babylon, and the residue of the multitude. 16 But Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard left of the poorest of the land to be vinedressers and husbandmen. 17 And the pillars of brass that were in the house of the LORD, and the bases and the brasen sea that were in the house of the LORD, did the Chaldeans break in pieces, and carried all the brass of them to Babylon. 18 The pots also, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass wherewith they ministered, took they away. 19 And the cups, and the firepans, and the basons, and the pots, and the candlesticks, and the spoons, and the bowls; that which was of gold, in gold, and that which was of silver, in silver, the captain of the guard took away. 20 The two pillars, the one sea, and the twelve brasen bulls that were under the bases, which king Solomon had made for the house of the LORD: the brass of all these vessels was without weight. 21 And as for the pillars, the height of the one pillar was eighteen cubits; and a line of twelve cubits did compass it; and the thickness thereof was four fingers: it was hollow. 22 And a chapiter of brass was upon it; and the height of the one chapiter was five cubits, with network and pomegranates upon the chapiter round about, all of brass: and the second pillar also had like unto these, and pomegranates. 23 And there were ninety and six pomegranates on the sides; all the pomegranates were an hundred upon the network round about. 24 And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three keepers of the door: 25 and out of the city he took an officer that was set over the men of war; and seven men of them that saw the king’s face, which were found in the city; and the scribe of the captain of the host, who mustered the people of the land; and threescore men of the people of the land, that were found in the midst of the city. 26 And Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took them, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah. 27 And the king of Babylon smote them, and put them to death at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was carried away captive out of his land. 28 This is the people whom Nebuchadrezzar carried away captive: in the seventh year three thousand Jews and three and twenty: 29 in the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar he carried away captive from Jerusalem eight hundred thirty and two persons: 30 in the three and twentieth year of Nebuchadrezzar Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive of the Jews seven hundred forty and five persons: all the persons were four thousand and six hundred. 31 And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the five and twentieth day of the month, that Evil-merodach king of Babylon, in the [first] year of his reign, lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him forth out of prison; 32 and he spake kindly to him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings that were with him in Babylon. 33 and he changed his prison garments, and did eat bread before him continually all the days of his life. 34 and for his allowance, there was a continual allowance given him of the king of Babylon, every day a portion until the day of his death, all the days of his life.
