  3 H559 ויאמר Then said H4428 לה המלך the king H4100 מה unto her, What H635 לך אסתר Esther? H4436 המלכה wilt thou, queen H4100 ומה and what H1246 בקשׁתך thy request? H5704 עד thee to H2677 חצי the half H4438 המלכות of the kingdom. H5414 וינתן׃ it shall be even given

H635 אסתר as Esther H935 ויבא came H4428 המלך So the king H2001 והמן and Haman H413 אל to H4960 המשׁתה the banquet H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂתה had prepared. H635 אסתר׃ Esther

  6 H559 ויאמר said H4428 המלך And the king H635 לאסתר unto Esther H4960 במשׁתה at the banquet H3196 היין of wine, H4100 מה What H7596 שׁאלתך thy petition? H5414 וינתן and it shall be granted H4100 לך ומה thee: and what H1246 בקשׁתך thy request? H5704 עד even to H2677 חצי the half H4438 המלכות of the kingdom H6213 ותעשׂ׃ it shall be performed.

  7 H6030 ותען Then answered H635 אסתר Esther, H559 ותאמר and said, H7596 שׁאלתי My petition H1246 ובקשׁתי׃ and my request

  8 H518 אם If H4672 מצאתי I have found H2580 חן favor H5869 בעיני in the sight H4428 המלך of the king, H518 ואם and if H5921 על it please H4428 המלך the king H2895 טוב it please H5414 לתת to grant H853 את   H7596 שׁאלתי my petition, H6213 ולעשׂות and to perform H853 את   H1246 בקשׁתי my request, H935 יבוא come H4428 המלך let the king H2001 והמן and Haman H413 אל to H4960 המשׁתה the banquet H834 אשׁר that H6213 אעשׂה I shall prepare H4279 להם ומחר tomorrow H6213 אעשׂה for them, and I will do H1697 כדבר hath said. H4428 המלך׃ as the king

  9 H3318 ויצא   H2001 המן but when Haman H3117 ביום day H1931 ההוא that H8056 שׂמח joyful H2896 וטוב and with a glad H3820 לב heart: H7200 וכראות saw H2001 המן him, H853 את   H4782 מרדכי Mordecai H8179 בשׁער gate, H4428 המלך in the king's H3808 ולא that he stood not up, H6965 קם that he stood not up, H3808 ולא nor H2111 זע moved H4480 ממנו for H4390 וימלא was full H2001 המן he H5921 על against H4782 מרדכי Mordecai.   28 H559 ויאמר And he said, H3808 לא no H3290 יעקב Jacob, H559 יאמר shall be called H5750 עוד more H8034 שׁמך Thy name H3588 כי but H518 אם but H3478 ישׂראל Israel: H3588 כי for H8280 שׂרית as a prince hast thou power H5973 עם with H430 אלהים God H5973 ועם and with H376 אנשׁים men, H3201 ותוכל׃ and hast prevailed.

  11 H577 אנא I beseech H136 אדני O Lord, H1961 תהי be H4994 נא thee, let now H241 אזנך thine ear H7183 קשׁבת attentive H413 אל to H8605 תפלת the prayer H5650 עבדך of thy servant, H413 ואל and to H8605 תפלת the prayer H5650 עבדיך of thy servants, H2655 החפצים who desire H3372 ליראה to fear H853 את   H8034 שׁמך thy name: H6743 והצליחה and prosper, H4994 נא I pray H5650 לעבדך thee, thy servant H3117 היום this day, H5414 ותנהו and grant H7356 לרחמים him mercy H6440 לפני in the sight H376 האישׁ man.   1 H6388 פלגי the rivers H4325 מים of water: H3820 לב heart H4428 מלך The king's H3027 ביד in the hand H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H5921 על it whithersoever H3605 כל   H834 אשׁר   H2654 יחפץ he will. H5186 יטנו׃ he turneth

  20 H559 ותאמר Then she said, H7596 שׁאלה petition H259 אחת one H6996 קטנה small H595 אנכי I H7592 שׁאלת desire H853 מאתך   H408 אל thee; say me not nay. H7725 תשׁב   H853 את   H6440 פני   H559 ויאמר said H4428 לה המלך And the king H7592 שׁאלי unto her, Ask on, H517 אמי my mother: H3588 כי for H3808 לא I will not H7725 אשׁיב   H853 את   H6440 פניך׃  

  5 H1391 בגבעון In Gibeon H7200 נראה appeared H3068 יהוה the LORD H413 אל to H8010 שׁלמה Solomon H2472 בחלום in a dream H3915 הלילה by night: H559 ויאמר said, H430 אלהים and God H7592 שׁאל Ask H4100 מה what H5414 אתן׃ I shall give

  6 H559 ויאמר said H4428 המלך And the king H635 לאסתר unto Esther H4960 במשׁתה at the banquet H3196 היין of wine, H4100 מה What H7596 שׁאלתך thy petition? H5414 וינתן and it shall be granted H4100 לך ומה thee: and what H1246 בקשׁתך thy request? H5704 עד even to H2677 חצי the half H4438 המלכות of the kingdom H6213 ותעשׂ׃ it shall be performed.

  2 H559 ויאמר said H4428 המלך And the king H635 לאסתר unto Esther H1571 גם again H3117 ביום day H8145 השׁני on the second H4960 במשׁתה at the banquet H3196 היין of wine, H4100 מה What H7596 שׁאלתך thy petition, H635 אסתר Esther? H4436 המלכה queen H5414 ותנתן and it shall be granted H4100 לך ומה thee: and what H1246 בקשׁתך thy request? H5704 עד to H2677 חצי the half H4438 המלכות of the kingdom.   25 H559 ויאמר And he said, H5066 הגשׁה Bring near H398 לי ואכלה to me, and I will eat H6718 מציד venison, H1121 בני of my son's H4616 למען that H1288 תברכך may bless H5315 נפשׁי my soul H5066 ויגשׁ thee. And he brought near H398 לו ויאכל to him, and he did eat: H935 ויבא and he brought H3196 לו יין him wine, H8354 וישׁת׃ and he drank.

  20 H559 ואמרתם And say H1571 גם ye moreover, H2009 הנה Behold, H5650 עבדך thy servant H3290 יעקב Jacob H310 אחרינו behind H3588 כי us. For H559 אמר he said, H3722 אכפרה   H6440 פניו before H4503 במנחה him with the present H1980 ההלכת that goeth H6440 לפני his face; H310 ואחרי me, and afterward H3651 כן me, and afterward H7200 אראה I will see H6440 פניו he will accept H194 אולי peradventure H5375 ישׂא he will accept H6440 פני׃  

  15 H7323 הרצים The posts H3318 יצאו went out, H1765 דחופים being hastened H1697 בדבר commandment, H4428 המלך by the king's H1881 והדת and the decree H5414 נתנה was given H7800 בשׁושׁן in Shushan H1002 הבירה the palace. H4428 והמלך And the king H2001 והמן and Haman H3427 ישׁבו sat down H8354 לשׁתות to drink; H5892 והעיר but the city H7800 שׁושׁן Shushan H943 נבוכה׃ was perplexed.

  8 H518 אם If H4672 מצאתי I have found H2580 חן favor H5869 בעיני in the sight H4428 המלך of the king, H518 ואם and if H5921 על it please H4428 המלך the king H2895 טוב it please H5414 לתת to grant H853 את   H7596 שׁאלתי my petition, H6213 ולעשׂות and to perform H853 את   H1246 בקשׁתי my request, H935 יבוא come H4428 המלך let the king H2001 והמן and Haman H413 אל to H4960 המשׁתה the banquet H834 אשׁר that H6213 אעשׂה I shall prepare H4279 להם ומחר tomorrow H6213 אעשׂה for them, and I will do H1697 כדבר hath said.   5 H2896 טוב A good H376 אישׁ man H2603 חונן showeth favor, H3867 ומלוה and lendeth: H3557 יכלכל he will guide H1697 דבריו his affairs H4941 במשׁפט׃ with discretion.

  11 H3605 כל all H7307 רוחו his mind: H3318 יוציא uttereth H3684 כסיל A fool H2450 וחכם but a wise H268 באחור it in till afterwards. H7623 ישׁבחנה׃ keepeth

  14 H5750 עודם And while they yet H1696 מדברים talking H5973 עמו with H5631 וסריסי chamberlains, H4428 המלך the king's H5060 הגיעו him, came H926 ויבהלו and hasted H935 להביא to bring H853 את   H2001 המן Haman H413 אל unto H4960 המשׁתה the banquet H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂתה had prepared.   3 H559 ויאמר Then said H4428 לה המלך the king H4100 מה unto her, What H635 לך אסתר Esther? H4436 המלכה wilt thou, queen H4100 ומה and what H1246 בקשׁתך thy request? H5704 עד thee to H2677 חצי the half H4438 המלכות of the kingdom. H5414 וינתן׃ it shall be even given

  11 H3947 ויקח Then took H2001 המן Haman H853 את   H3830 הלבושׁ the apparel H853 ואת   H5483 הסוס and the horse, H3847 וילבשׁ and arrayed H853 את   H4782 מרדכי Mordecai, H7392 וירכיבהו and brought him on horseback H7339 ברחוב through the street H5892 העיר of the city, H7121 ויקרא and proclaimed H6440 לפניו before H3602 ככה him, Thus H6213 יעשׂה shall it be done H376 לאישׁ unto the man H834 אשׁר whom H4428 המלך the king H2654 חפץ delighteth H3366 ביקרו׃ to honor.

  12 H7725 וישׁב came again H4782 מרדכי And Mordecai H413 אל to H8179 שׁער gate. H4428 המלך the king's H2001 והמן But Haman H1765 נדחף hasted H413 אל to H1004 ביתו his house H57 אבל mourning, H2645 וחפוי covered. H7218 ראשׁ׃ and having his head

  13 H5608 ויספר told H2001 המן And Haman H2238 לזרשׁ Zeresh H802 אשׁתו his wife H3605 ולכל and all H157 אהביו his friends H853 את   H3605 כל every H834 אשׁר that H7136 קרהו had befallen H559 ויאמרו him. Then said H2450 לו חכמיו his wise men H2238 וזרשׁ and Zeresh H802 אשׁתו his wife H518 אם unto him, If H2233 מזרע of the seed H3064 היהודים of the Jews, H4782 מרדכי Mordecai H834 אשׁר whom H2490 החלות thou hast begun H5307 לנפל to fall, H6440 לפניו before H3808 לא thou shalt not H3201 תוכל prevail H3588 לו כי against him, but H5307 נפול shalt surely fall H5307 תפול shalt surely fall H6440 לפניו׃ before

  14 H5750 עודם And while they yet H1696 מדברים talking H5973 עמו with H5631 וסריסי chamberlains, H4428 המלך the king's H5060 הגיעו him, came H926 ויבהלו and hasted H935 להביא to bring H853 את   H2001 המן Haman H413 אל unto H4960 המשׁתה the banquet H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂתה had prepared. H635 אסתר׃ Esther

  3 H6030 ותען answered H635 אסתר Then Esther H4436 המלכה the queen H559 ותאמר and said, H518 אם If H4672 מצאתי I have found H2580 חן favor H5869 בעיניך in thy sight, H4428 המלך O king, H518 ואם and if H5921 על it please H4428 המלך the king, H2895 טוב it please H5414 תנתן be given H5315 לי נפשׁי let my life H7596 בשׁאלתי me at my petition, H5971 ועמי and my people H1246 בבקשׁתי׃ at my request:

  5 H559 ותאמר And said, H518 אם If H5921 על it please H4428 המלך the king, H2896 טוב   H518 ואם and if H4672 מצאתי I have found H2580 חן favor H6440 לפניו in his sight, H3787 וכשׁר right H1697 הדבר and the thing H6440 לפני before H4428 המלך the king, H2896 וטובה   H589 אני and I H5869 בעיניו in his eyes, H3789 יכתב let it be written H7725 להשׁיב to reverse H853 את   H5612 הספרים the letters H4284 מחשׁבת devised H2001 המן by Haman H1121 בן the son H4099 המדתא of Hammedatha H91 האגגי the Agagite, H834 אשׁר which H3789 כתב he wrote H6 לאבד to destroy H853 את   H3064 היהודים the Jews H834 אשׁר which H3605 בכל in all H4082 מדינות provinces: H4428 המלך׃ the king's

  9 H3820 לב heart H120 אדם A man's H2803 יחשׁב deviseth H1870 דרכו his way: H3068 ויהוה but the LORD H3559 יכין directeth H6806 צעדו׃ his steps.

  4 H935 ויבא came H256 אחאב And Ahab H413 אל into H1004 ביתו his house H5620 סר heavy H2198 וזעף and displeased H5921 על because H1697 הדבר of the word H834 אשׁר which H1696 דבר had spoken H413 אליו to H5022 נבות Naboth H3158 היזרעאלי the Jezreelite H559 ויאמר him: for he had said, H3808 לא I will not H5414 אתן give H853 לך את   H5159 נחלת thee the inheritance H1 אבותי of my fathers.   2 H3605 וכל And all H5650 עבדי servants, H4428 המלך the king's H834 אשׁר that H8179 בשׁער gate, H4428 המלך in the king's H3766 כרעים bowed, H7812 ומשׁתחוים and reverenced H2001 להמן Haman: H3588 כי for H3651 כן had so H6680 צוה commanded H4428 לו המלך the king H4782 ומרדכי concerning him. But Mordecai H3808 לא not, H3766 יכרע bowed H3808 ולא nor H7812 ישׁתחוה׃ did reverence.

  5 H7200 וירא saw H2001 המן And when Haman H3588 כי that H369 אין not, H4782 מרדכי Mordecai H3766 כרע bowed H7812 ומשׁתחוה nor did him reverence, H4390 לו וימלא full H2001 המן then was Haman H2534 חמה׃ of wrath.

  5 H3588 כי That H7445 רננת the triumphing H7563 רשׁעים of the wicked H7138 מקרוב short, H8057 ושׂמחת and the joy H2611 חנף of the hypocrite H5704 עדי for H7281 רגע׃ a moment?

  31 H518 אם If H3808 לא not, H559 אמרו said H4962 מתי the men H168 אהלי of my tabernacle H4310 מי Oh that H5414 יתן we had H1320 מבשׂרו   H3808 לא we cannot H7646 נשׂבע׃ be satisfied.

  4 H959 נבזה is contemned; H5869 בעיניו In whose eyes H3988 נמאס a vile person H853 ואת   H3373 יראי   H3068 יהוה the LORD. H3513 יכבד but he honoreth H7650 נשׁבע sweareth H7489 להרע to hurt, H3808 ולא not. H4171 ימר׃ and changeth

  3 H518 אם Though H2583 תחנה should encamp H5921 עלי against H4264 מחנה a host H3808 לא shall not H3372 יירא fear: H3820 לבי me, my heart H518 אם though H6965 תקום should rise H5921 עלי against H4421 מלחמה war H2063 בזאת me, in this H589 אני I H982 בוטח׃ confident.

  13 H116 באדין Then H5020 נבוכדנצר Nebuchadnezzar H7266 ברגז in rage H2528 וחמה and fury H560 אמר commanded H858 להיתיה to bring H7715 לשׁדרך Shadrach, H4336 מישׁך Meshach, H5665 ועבד נגו and Abed-nego. H116 באדין Then H1400 גבריא men H479 אלך these H858 היתיו they brought H6925 קדם before H4430 מלכא׃ the king.

  16 H6032 ענו answered H7715 שׁדרך Shadrach, H4336 מישׁך Meshach, H5665 ועבד נגו and Abed-nego, H560 ואמרין and said H4430 למלכא to the king, H5020 נבוכדנצר O Nebuchadnezzar, H3809 לא not H2818 חשׁחין careful H586 אנחנה we H5922 על thee in H1836 דנה this H6600 פתגם matter. H8421 להתבותך׃ to answer

  17 H2006 הן If H383 איתי it be H426 אלהנא our God H1768 די whom H586 אנחנא we H6399 פלחין serve H3202 יכל is able H7804 לשׁיזבותנא to deliver H4481 מן us from H861 אתון furnace, H5135 נורא fiery H3345 יקדתא the burning H4481 ומן out of H3028 ידך thine hand, H4430 מלכא O king. H7804 ישׁיזב׃ and he will deliver

  18 H2006 והן But if H3809 לא not, H3046 ידיע it known H1934 להוא be H4430 לך מלכא unto thee, O king, H1768 די that H426 לאלהיך thy gods, H3809 לא not H383 איתינא we will H6399 פלחין serve H6755 ולצלם image H1722 דהבא the golden H1768 די which H6966 הקימת thou hast set up. H3809 לא nor H5457 נסגד׃ worship

  19 H116 באדין Then H5020 נבוכדנצר was Nebuchadnezzar H4391 התמלי full H2528 חמא of fury, H6755 וצלם and the form H600 אנפוהי of his visage H8133 אשׁתנו was changed H5922 על against H7715 שׁדרך Shadrach, H4336 מישׁך Meshach, H5665 ועבד נגו and Abed-nego: H6032 ענה he spoke, H560 ואמר and commanded H228 למזא that they should heat H861 לאתונא the furnace H2298 חד one H7655 שׁבעה seven times H5922 על more H1768 די than H2370 חזה it was wont H228 למזיה׃ to be heated.

  12 H7323 הירצון run H5553 בסלע upon the rock? H5483 סוסים Shall horses H518 אם   H2790 יחרושׁ will plow H1241 בבקרים with oxen? H3588 כי for H2015 הפכתם ye have turned H7219 לראשׁ into gall, H4941 משׁפט judgment H6529 ופרי and the fruit H6666 צדקה of righteousness H3939 ללענה׃ into hemlock:

  13 H8055 השׂמחים Ye which rejoice H3808 ללא in a thing of naught, H1697 דבר in a thing of naught, H559 האמרים which say, H3808 הלוא Have we not H2392 בחזקנו by our own strength? H3947 לקחנו taken H7161 לנו קרנים׃ to us horns

  30 H4116 וימהר made haste; H3130 יוסף And Joseph H3588 כי for H3648 נכמרו did yearn H7356 רחמיו his bowels H413 אל upon H251 אחיו his brother: H1245 ויבקשׁ and he sought H1058 לבכות to weep; H935 ויבא and he entered into H2315 החדרה chamber, H1058 ויבך and wept H8033 שׁמה׃ there.

  31 H7364 וירחץ And he washed H6440 פניו his face, H3318 ויצא and went out, H662 ויתאפק and refrained himself, H559 ויאמר and said, H7760 שׂימו Set on H3899 לחם׃ bread.

  1 H3808 ולא not H3201 יכל could H3130 יוסף Then Joseph H662 להתאפק refrain himself H3605 לכל before all H5324 הנצבים them that stood H5921 עליו by H7121 ויקרא him; and he cried, H3318 הוציאו to go out H3605 כל Cause every H376 אישׁ man H5921 מעלי from H3808 ולא no H5975 עמד me. And there stood H376 אישׁ man H854 אתו with H3045 בהתודע made himself known H3130 יוסף him, while Joseph H413 אל unto H251 אחיו׃ his brethren.

  22 H3808 ולא neither H1696 דבר spoke H53 אבשׁלום And Absalom H5973 עם unto H550 אמנון his brother Amnon H7451 למרע bad: H5704 ועד nor H2896 טוב good H3588 כי for H8130 שׂנא hated H53 אבשׁלום Absalom H853 את   H550 אמנון Amnon, H5921 על because H1697 דבר   H834 אשׁר   H6031 ענה he had forced H853 את   H8559 תמר Tamar. H269 אחתו׃ his sister

  23 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H8141 לשׁנתים after two full years, H3117 ימים after two full years, H1961 ויהיו had H1494 גזזים sheepshearers H53 לאבשׁלום that Absalom H1178 בבעל חצור in Baal-hazor, H834 אשׁר which H5973 עם beside H669 אפרים Ephraim: H7121 ויקרא invited H53 אבשׁלום and Absalom H3605 לכל all H1121 בני sons. H4428 המלך׃ the king's

  13 H5608 ויספר told H2001 המן And Haman H2238 לזרשׁ Zeresh H802 אשׁתו his wife H3605 ולכל and all H157 אהביו his friends H853 את   H3605 כל every H834 אשׁר that H7136 קרהו had befallen H559 ויאמרו him. Then said H2450 לו חכמיו his wise men H2238 וזרשׁ and Zeresh H802 אשׁתו his wife H518 אם unto him, If H2233 מזרע of the seed H3064 היהודים of the Jews, H4782 מרדכי Mordecai H834 אשׁר whom H2490 החלות thou hast begun H5307 לנפל to fall, H6440 לפניו before H3808 לא thou shalt not H3201 תוכל prevail H3588 לו כי against him, but H5307 נפול shalt surely fall H5307 תפול shalt surely fall H6440 לפניו׃ before

  9 H408 אל Be not H926 תבהל hasty H7307 ברוחך in thy spirit H3707 לכעוס to be angry: H3588 כי for H3708 כעס anger H2436 בחיק in the bosom H3684 כסילים of fools. H5117 ינוח׃ resteth

  1 H8085 וישׁמע And he heard H853 את   H1697 דברי the words H1121 בני sons, H3837 לבן of Laban's H559 לאמר saying, H3947 לקח hath taken away H3290 יעקב Jacob H853 את   H3605 כל all H834 אשׁר that H1 לאבינו our father's; H834 ומאשׁר and of which H1 לאבינו our father's H6213 עשׂה hath he gotten H853 את   H3605 כל all H3519 הכבד glory. H2088 הזה׃ this

  4 H7200 בהראתו When he showed H853 את   H6239 עשׁר the riches H3519 כבוד of his glorious H4438 מלכותו kingdom H853 ואת   H3366 יקר and the honor H8597 תפארת of his excellent H1420 גדולתו majesty H3117 ימים days, H7227 רבים many H8084 שׁמונים and fourscore H3967 ומאת a hundred H3117 יום׃ days.

  1 H310 אחר After H1697 הדברים things H428 האלה these H1431 גדל promote H4428 המלך did king H325 אחשׁורושׁ Ahasuerus H853 את   H2001 המן Haman H1121 בן the son H4099 המדתא of Hammedatha H91 האגגי the Agagite, H5375 וינשׂאהו and advanced H7760 וישׂם him, and set H853 את   H3678 כסאו his seat H5921 מעל above H3605 כל all H8269 השׂרים the princes H834 אשׁר that H854 אתו׃ with

  7 H853 ואת   H6577 פרשׁנדתא And Parshandatha, H853 ואת   H1813 דלפון and Dalphon, H853 ואת   H630 אספתא׃ and Aspatha,

  8 H853 ואת   H6334 פורתא And Poratha, H853 ואת   H118 אדליא and Adalia, H853 ואת   H743 ארידתא׃ and Aridatha,

  9 H853 ואת   H6534 פרמשׁתא And Parmashta, H853 ואת   H747 אריסי and Arisai, H853 ואת   H742 ארידי and Aridai, H853 ואת   H2055 ויזתא׃ and Vajezatha,

  10 H6235 עשׂרת The ten H1121 בני sons H2001 המן of Haman H1121 בן the son H4099 המדתא of Hammedatha, H6887 צרר the enemy H3064 היהודים of the Jews, H2026 הרגו slew H961 ובבזה they; but on the spoil H3808 לא they not H7971 שׁלחו laid H853 את   H3027 ידם׃ their hand.

  12 H559 ויאמר said H4428 המלך And the king H635 לאסתר unto Esther H4436 המלכה the queen, H7800 בשׁושׁן in Shushan H1002 הבירה the palace, H2026 הרגו have slain H3064 היהודים The Jews H6 ואבד and destroyed H2568 חמשׁ five H3967 מאות hundred H376 אישׁ men H853 ואת   H6235 עשׂרת and the ten H1121 בני sons H2001 המן of Haman; H7605 בשׁאר in the rest H4082 מדינות provinces? H4428 המלך of the king's H4100 מה what H6213 עשׂו have they done H4100 ומה now what H7596 שׁאלתך thy petition? H5414 וינתן and it shall be granted H4100 לך ומה thee: or what H1246 בקשׁתך thy request H5750 עוד further? H6213 ותעשׂ׃ and it shall be done.
