  6 H3117 בימיו In his days H3467 תושׁע shall be saved, H3063 יהודה Judah H3478 וישׂראל and Israel H7931 ישׁכן shall dwell H983 לבטח safely: H2088 וזה and this H8034 שׁמו his name H834 אשׁר whereby H7121 יקראו he shall be called, H3068 יהוה THE LORD H6664 צדקנו׃ OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

  17 H3808 לא Thou shalt not H2530 תחמד covet H1004 בית house, H7453 רעך thy neighbor's H3808 לא thou shalt not H2530 תחמד covet H802 אשׁת wife, H7453 רעך thy neighbor's H5650 ועבדו nor his manservant, H519 ואמתו nor his maidservant, H7794 ושׁורו nor his ox, H2543 וחמרו nor his ass, H3605 וכל nor any thing H834 אשׁר that H7453 לרעך׃ thy neighbor's.

  8 H5493 סרו They have turned aside H4118 מהר quickly H4480 מן out of H1870 הדרך the way H834 אשׁר which H6680 צויתם I commanded H6213 עשׂו them: they have made H5695 להם עגל calf, H4541 מסכה them a molten H7812 וישׁתחוו and have worshiped H2076 לו ויזבחו it, and have sacrificed H559 לו ויאמרו thereunto, and said, H428 אלה These H430 אלהיך thy gods, H3478 ישׂראל O Israel, H834 אשׁר which H5927 העלוך have brought thee up H776 מארץ out of the land H4714 מצרים׃ of Egypt.

  8 H3789 ותכתב So she wrote H5612 ספרים letters H8034 בשׁם name, H256 אחאב in Ahab's H2368 ותחתם with his seal, H2856 בחתמו and sealed H7971 ותשׁלח and sent H5612 הספרים the letters H413 אל unto H2205 הזקנים the elders H413 ואל and to H2715 החרים the nobles H834 אשׁר that H5892 בעירו in his city, H3427 הישׁבים dwelling H854 את with H5022 נבות׃ Naboth.

  9 H3789 ותכתב And she wrote H5612 בספרים in the letters, H559 לאמר saying, H7121 קראו Proclaim H6685 צום a fast, H3427 והושׁיבו and set H853 את   H5022 נבות Naboth H7218 בראשׁ on high H5971 העם׃ among the people:

  10 H3427 והושׁיבו And set H8147 שׁנים two H582 אנשׁים   H1121 בני sons H1100 בליעל of Belial, H5048 נגדו before H5749 ויעדהו him, to bear witness against H559 לאמר him, saying, H1288 ברכת Thou didst blaspheme H430 אלהים God H4428 ומלך and the king. H3318 והוציאהו And carry him out, H5619 וסקלהו and stone H4191 וימת׃ him, that he may die.

  11 H6213 ויעשׂו did H376 אנשׁי And the men H5892 עירו of his city, H2205 הזקנים the elders H2715 והחרים and the nobles H834 אשׁר who H3427 הישׁבים were the inhabitants H5892 בעירו in his city, H834 כאשׁר as H7971 שׁלחה had sent H413 אליהם unto H348 איזבל Jezebel H834 כאשׁר them, as H3789 כתוב it written H5612 בספרים in the letters H834 אשׁר which H7971 שׁלחה she had sent H413 אליהם׃ unto

  12 H7121 קראו They proclaimed H6685 צום a fast, H3427 והשׁיבו and set H853 את   H5022 נבות Naboth H7218 בראשׁ on high H5971 העם׃ among the people.

  13 H935 ויבאו And there came in H8147 שׁני two H376 האנשׁים men, H1121 בני children H1100 בליעל of Belial, H3427 וישׁבו and sat H5048 נגדו before H5749 ויעדהו witnessed against H376 אנשׁי him: and the men H1100 הבליעל of Belial H853 את   H5022 נבות him, against Naboth, H5048 נגד in the presence H5971 העם of the people, H559 לאמר saying, H1288 ברך did blaspheme H5022 נבות Naboth H430 אלהים God H4428 ומלך and the king. H3318 ויצאהו Then they carried him forth H2351 מחוץ out of H5892 לעיר the city, H5619 ויסקלהו and stoned H68 באבנים him with stones, H4191 וימת׃ that he died.

  14 H7971 וישׁלחו Then they sent H413 אל to H348 איזבל Jezebel, H559 לאמר saying, H5619 סקל is stoned, H5022 נבות Naboth H4191 וימת׃ and is dead.

  15 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass, H8085 כשׁמע heard H348 איזבל when Jezebel H3588 כי that H5619 סקל was stoned, H5022 נבות Naboth H4191 וימת and was dead, H559 ותאמר said H348 איזבל that Jezebel H413 אל to H256 אחאב Ahab, H6965 קום Arise, H3423 רשׁ take possession H853 את   H3754 כרם of the vineyard H5022 נבות of Naboth H3158 היזרעאלי the Jezreelite, H834 אשׁר which H3985 מאן he refused H5414 לתת to give H3701 לך בכסף thee for money: H3588 כי for H369 אין is not H5022 נבות Naboth H2416 חי alive, H3588 כי but H4191 מת׃ dead.

  17 H1961 ויהי came H1697 דבר And the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H413 אל to H452 אליהו Elijah H8664 התשׁבי the Tishbite, H559 לאמר׃ saying,

  18 H6965 קום Arise, H3381 רד go down H7125 לקראת   H256 אחאב Ahab H4428 מלך king H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H834 אשׁר which H8111 בשׁמרון in Samaria: H2009 הנה behold, H3754 בכרם in the vineyard H5022 נבות of Naboth, H834 אשׁר whither H3381 ירד he is gone down H8033 שׁם whither H3423 לרשׁתו׃ to possess

  19 H1696 ודברת And thou shalt speak H413 אליו unto H559 לאמר him, saying, H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H7523 הרצחת Hast thou killed, H1571 וגם and also H3423 ירשׁת taken possession?   20 H559 ויאמר said H256 אחאב And Ahab H413 אל to H452 אליהו Elijah, H4672 המצאתני Hast thou found H341 איבי me, O mine enemy? H559 ויאמר And he answered, H4672 מצאתי I have found H3282 יען because H4376 התמכרך thou hast sold H6213 לעשׂות thyself to work H7451 הרע evil H5869 בעיני in the sight H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD.

  21 H2005 הנני   H935 מבי I will bring H413 אליך upon H7451 רעה evil H1197 ובערתי thee, and will take away H310 אחריך thy posterity, H3772 והכרתי and will cut off H256 לאחאב from Ahab H8366 משׁתין him that pisseth H7023 בקיר against the wall, H6113 ועצור and him that is shut up H5800 ועזוב and left H3478 בישׂראל׃ in Israel,

  22 H5414 ונתתי And will make H853 את   H1004 ביתך thine house H1004 כבית like the house H3379 ירבעם of Jeroboam H1121 בן the son H5028 נבט of Nebat, H1004 וכבית and like the house H1201 בעשׁא of Baasha H1121 בן the son H281 אחיה of Ahijah, H413 אל for H3708 הכעס the provocation H834 אשׁר wherewith H3707 הכעסת thou hast provoked to anger, H2398 ותחטא   H853 את   H3478 ישׂראל׃  

  23 H1571 וגם also H348 לאיזבל And of Jezebel H1696 דבר spoke H3068 יהוה the LORD, H559 לאמר saying, H3611 הכלבים The dogs H398 יאכלו shall eat H853 את   H348 איזבל Jezebel H2428 בחל   H3157 יזרעאל׃ of Jezreel.

  24 H4191 המת Him that dieth H256 לאחאב of Ahab H5892 בעיר in the city H398 יאכלו shall eat; H3611 הכלבים the dogs H4191 והמת and him that dieth H7704 בשׂדה in the field H398 יאכלו eat. H5775 עוף shall the fowls H8064 השׁמים׃ of the air

  25 H7535 רק But H3808 לא none H1961 היה there was H256 כאחאב like unto Ahab, H834 אשׁר which H4376 התמכר did sell himself H6213 לעשׂות to work H7451 הרע wickedness H5869 בעיני in the sight H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H834 אשׁר   H5496 הסתה stirred up. H853 אתו   H348 איזבל Jezebel H802 אשׁתו׃ his wife

  26 H8581 ויתעב abominably H3966 מאד And he did very H1980 ללכת in following H310 אחרי in following H1544 הגללים idols, H3605 ככל according to all H834 אשׁר as H6213 עשׂו did H567 האמרי the Amorites, H834 אשׁר whom H3423 הורישׁ cast out H3068 יהוה the LORD H6440 מפני before H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

  27 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass, H8085 כשׁמע heard H256 אחאב when Ahab H853 את   H1697 הדברים words, H428 האלה those H7167 ויקרע that he rent H899 בגדיו his clothes, H7760 וישׂם and put H8242 שׂק sackcloth H5921 על upon H1320 בשׂרו his flesh, H6684 ויצום and fasted, H7901 וישׁכב and lay H8242 בשׂק in sackcloth, H1980 ויהלך and went H328 אט׃ softly.

  28 H1961 ויהי came H1697 דבר And the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H413 אל to H452 אליהו Elijah H8664 התשׁבי the Tishbite, H559 לאמר׃ saying,

  29 H7200 הראית Seest H3588 כי thou how H3665 נכנע humbleth himself H256 אחאב Ahab H6440 מלפני before H3282 יען me? because H3588 כי me? because H3665 נכנע he humbleth himself H6440 מפני before H3808 לא me, I will not H935 אבי bring H7451 הרעה the evil H3117 בימיו in his days: H3117 בימי days H1121 בנו in his son's H935 אביא will I bring H7451 הרעה the evil H5921 על upon H1004 ביתו׃ his house.

  1 H1285 ברית a covenant H3772 כרתי I made H5869 לעיני with mine eyes; H4100 ומה why H995 אתבונן then should I think H5921 על upon H1330 בתולה׃ a maid?

  20 H1580 יגמלני rewarded H3068 יהוה The LORD H6664 כצדקי me according to my righteousness; H1252 כבר according to the cleanness H3027 ידי of my hands H7725 ישׁיב׃ hath he recompensed

  21 H3588 כי For H8104 שׁמרתי I have kept H1870 דרכי the ways H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H3808 ולא and have not H7561 רשׁעתי wickedly departed H430 מאלהי׃  

  22 H3588 כי For H3605 כל all H4941 משׁפטיו his judgments H5048 לנגדי before H2708 וחקתיו his statutes H3808 לא me, and I did not H5493 אסיר put away H4480 מני׃ from

  23 H1961 ואהי I was H8549 תמים also upright H5973 עמו before H8104 ואשׁתמר him, and I kept myself H5771 מעוני׃ from mine iniquity.

  4 H3808 לא I have not H3427 ישׁבתי sat H5973 עם with H4962 מתי persons, H7723 שׁוא vain H5973 ועם with H5956 נעלמים dissemblers. H3808 לא neither H935 אבוא׃ will I go in

  5 H8130 שׂנאתי I have hated H6951 קהל the congregation H7489 מרעים of evildoers; H5973 ועם with H7563 רשׁעים the wicked. H3808 לא and will not H3427 אשׁב׃ sit

  41 H7725 וישׁובו Yea, they turned back H5254 וינסו and tempted H410 אל God, H6918 וקדושׁ the Holy One H3478 ישׂראל of Israel. H8428 התוו׃ and limited

  57 H5472 ויסגו But turned back, H898 ויבגדו and dealt unfaithfully H1 כאבותם like their fathers: H2015 נהפכו they were turned aside H7198 כקשׁת bow. H7423 רמיה׃ like a deceitful

  31 H408 אל not H7200 תרא Look H3196 יין thou upon the wine H3588 כי when H119 יתאדם it is red, H3588 כי when H5414 יתן it giveth H3599 בכיס   H5869 עינו his color H1980 יתהלך it moveth itself H4339 במישׁרים׃ aright.

  32 H319 אחריתו At the last H5175 כנחשׁ like a serpent, H5391 ישׁך it biteth H6848 וכצפעני like an adder. H6567 יפרשׁ׃ and stingeth

  33 H5869 עיניך Thine eyes H7200 יראו shall behold H2114 זרות strange women, H3820 ולבך and thine heart H1696 ידבר shall utter H8419 תהפכות׃ perverse things.

  34 H1961 והיית Yea, thou shalt be H7901 כשׁכב as he that lieth down H3820 בלב in the midst H3220 ים of the sea, H7901 וכשׁכב or as he that lieth H7218 בראשׁ upon the top H2260 חבל׃ of a mast.

  35 H5221 הכוני They have stricken H1077 בל me, I was not H2470 חליתי sick; H1986 הלמוני they have beaten H1077 בל not: H3045 ידעתי me, I felt H4970 מתי when H6974 אקיץ shall I awake? H3254 אוסיף it yet H1245 אבקשׁנו I will seek H5750 עוד׃ again.

  15 H1980 הלך He that walketh H6666 צדקות righteously, H1696 ודבר and speaketh H4339 מישׁרים uprightly; H3988 מאס he that despiseth H1215 בבצע the gain H4642 מעשׁקות of oppressions, H5287 נער that shaketh H3709 כפיו his hands H8551 מתמך from holding H7810 בשׁחד of bribes, H331 אטם that stoppeth H241 אזנו his ears H8085 משׁמע from hearing H1818 דמים of blood, H6105 ועצם and shutteth H5869 עיניו his eyes H7200 מראות from seeing H7451 ברע׃ evil;
