  4 H4672 וימצא found H3130 יוסף And Joseph H2580 חן grace H5869 בעיניו in his sight, H8334 וישׁרת and he served H853 אתו   H6485 ויפקדהו him: and he made him overseer H5921 על over H1004 ביתו his house, H3605 וכל and all H3426 ישׁ he had H5414 לו נתן he put H3027 בידו׃ into his hand.

  16 H559 ותאמר said, H7327 רות And Ruth H408 אל me not H6293 תפגעי Entreat H5800 בי לעזבך to leave H7725 לשׁוב thee, to return H310 מאחריך from following after H3588 כי thee: for H413 אל whither H834 אשׁר whither H1980 תלכי thou goest, H1980 אלך I will go; H834 ובאשׁר and where H3885 תליני thou lodgest, H3885 אלין I will lodge: H5971 עמך thy people H5971 עמי my people, H430 ואלהיך and thy God H430 אלהי׃ my God:

  19 H1980 ותלכנה went H8147 שׁתיהם So they two H5704 עד until H935 באנה they came H1035 בית לחם to Bethlehem. H1961 ויהי And it came to pass, H935 כבאנה when they were come H1035 בית לחם to Bethlehem, H1949 ותהם was moved H3605 כל that all H5892 העיר the city H5921 עליהן about H559 ותאמרנה them, and they said, H2063 הזאת this H5281 נעמי׃ Naomi?

  22 H7725 ותשׁב returned, H5281 נעמי So Naomi H7327 ורות and Ruth H4125 המואביה the Moabitess, H3618 כלתה her daughter-in-law, H5973 עמה with her, H7725 השׁבה which returned H7704 משׂדי out of the country H4124 מואב of Moab: H1992 והמה and they H935 באו came H1035 בית לחם to Bethlehem H8462 בתחלת in the beginning H7105 קציר harvest. H8184 שׂערים׃ of barley

  4 H183 מתאוה desireth, H369 ואין and nothing: H5315 נפשׁו The soul H6102 עצל of the sluggard H5315 ונפשׁ but the soul H2742 חרצים of the diligent H1878 תדשׁן׃ shall be made fat.

  33 H3374 יראת The fear H3068 יהוה of the LORD H4148 מוסר the instruction H2451 חכמה of wisdom; H6440 ולפני and before H3519 כבוד honor H6038 ענוה׃ humility.

  23 H8469 תחנונים entreaties; H1696 ידבר useth H7326 רשׁ The poor H6223 ועשׁיר but the rich H6030 יענה answereth H5794 עזות׃ roughly.

  29 H2372 חזית Seest H376 אישׁ thou a man H4106 מהיר diligent H4399 במלאכתו in his business? H6440 לפני before H4428 מלכים kings; H3320 יתיצב he shall stand H1077 בל he shall not H3320 יתיצב stand H6440 לפני before H2823 חשׁכים׃ mean

  10 H3605 כל   H834 אשׁר whither H4672 תמצא findeth H3027 ידך thy hand H6213 לעשׂות to do, H3581 בכחך with thy might; H6213 עשׂה do H3588 כי for H369 אין no H4639 מעשׂה work, H2808 וחשׁבון nor device, H1847 ודעת nor knowledge, H2451 וחכמה nor wisdom, H7585 בשׁאול in the grave, H834 אשׁר   H859 אתה thou H1980 הלך goest. H8033 שׁמה׃ whither

  6 H3254 ויסף again, H3068 יהוה And the LORD H7121 קרא called H5750 עוד yet H8050 שׁמואל Samuel. H6965 ויקם arose H8050 שׁמואל And Samuel H1980 וילך and went H413 אל to H5941 עלי Eli, H559 ויאמר and said, H2005 הנני   H3588 כי I; for H7121 קראת thou didst call H559 לי ויאמר me. And he answered, H3808 לא not, H7121 קראתי I called H1121 בני my son; H7725 שׁוב again. H7901 שׁכב׃ lie down

  16 H7121 ויקרא called H5941 עלי Then Eli H853 את   H8050 שׁמואל Samuel, H559 ויאמר and said, H8050 שׁמואל Samuel, H1121 בני my son. H559 ויאמר And he answered, H2005 הנני׃  

  13 H5066 ויגשׁו came near, H5650 עבדיו And his servants H1696 וידברו and spoke H413 אליו unto H559 ויאמרו him, and said, H1 אבי My father, H1697 דבר thing, H1419 גדול thee great H5030 הנביא the prophet H1696 דבר had bid H413 אליך had bid H3808 הלוא wouldest thou not H6213 תעשׂה have done H637 ואף how much rather H3588 כי then, when H559 אמר he saith H413 אליך to H7364 רחץ thee, Wash, H2891 וטהר׃ and be clean?

  7 H5046 הגידה Tell H157 לי שׁאהבה loveth, H5315 נפשׁי me, O thou whom my soul H349 איכה where H7462 תרעה thou feedest, H349 איכה where H7257 תרביץ thou makest o rest H6672 בצהרים at noon: H4100 שׁלמה for why H1961 אהיה should I be H5844 כעטיה as one that turneth aside H5921 על by H5739 עדרי the flocks H2270 חבריך׃ of thy companions?

  8 H518 אם If H3808 לא not, H3045 תדעי thou know H3303 לך היפה O thou fairest H802 בנשׁים among women, H3318 צאי go thy way forth H6119 לך בעקבי by the footsteps H6629 הצאן of the flock, H7462 ורעי and feed H853 את   H1429 גדיתיך thy kids H5921 על beside H4908 משׁכנות tents. H7462 הרעים׃ the shepherds'

  6 H559 ויאמר said H413 אליו unto H430 האלהים And God H2472 בחלם him in a dream, H1571 גם Yea, H595 אנכי I H3045 ידעתי know H3588 כי that H8537 בתם in the integrity H3824 לבבך of thy heart; H6213 עשׂית thou didst H2063 זאת this H2820 ואחשׂך withheld H1571 גם also H595 אנכי for I H853 אותך   H2398 מחטו thee from sinning H5921 לי על against me: therefore H3651 כן against me: therefore H3808 לא I thee not H5414 נתתיך suffered H5060 לנגע to touch H413 אליה׃ to touch

  18 H559 ותאמר And she said, H8354 שׁתה Drink, H113 אדני my lord: H4116 ותמהר and she hasted, H3381 ותרד and let down H3537 כדה her pitcher H5921 על upon H3027 ידה her hand, H8248 ותשׁקהו׃ and gave him drink.

  19 H3615 ותכל And when she had done H8248 להשׁקתו giving him drink, H559 ותאמר she said, H1571 גם also, H1581 לגמליך for thy camels H7579 אשׁאב I will draw H5704 עד until H518 אם until H3615 כלו they have done H8354 לשׁתת׃ drinking.

  20 H4116 ותמהר And she hasted, H6168 ותער and emptied H3537 כדה her pitcher H413 אל into H8268 השׁקת the trough, H7323 ותרץ and ran H5750 עוד again H413 אל unto H875 הבאר the well H7579 לשׁאב to draw H7579 ותשׁאב and drew H3605 לכל for all H1581 גמליו׃ his camels.

  21 H2603 חנני Have pity upon H2603 חנני me, have pity upon H859 אתם me, O ye H7453 רעי my friends; H3588 כי for H3027 יד the hand H433 אלוה of God H5060 נגעה׃ hath touched

  15 H408 אל not H5060 תגעו Touch H4899 במשׁיחי mine anointed, H5030 ולנביאי and do my prophets H408 אל no H7489 תרעו׃ harm.

  29 H3651 כן So H935 הבא he that goeth in H413 אל to H802 אשׁת wife; H7453 רעהו his neighbor's H3808 לא her shall not H5352 ינקה be innocent. H3605 כל whosoever H5060 הנגע׃ toucheth

  2 H5375 וישׂא And he lifted up H5869 עיניו his eyes H7200 וירא and looked, H2009 והנה and, lo, H7969 שׁלשׁה three H376 אנשׁים men H5324 נצבים stood H5921 עליו by H7200 וירא him: and when he saw H7323 וירץ he ran H7125 לקראתם to meet H6607 מפתח   H168 האהל   H7812 וישׁתחו and bowed himself H776 ארצה׃ toward the ground,

  2 H559 ותאמר said H7327 רות And Ruth H4125 המואביה the Moabitess H413 אל unto H5281 נעמי Naomi, H1980 אלכה go H4994 נא Let me now H7704 השׂדה to the field, H3950 ואלקטה and glean H7641 בשׁבלים ears of corn H310 אחר after H834 אשׁר after H4672 אמצא I shall find H2580 חן grace. H5869 בעיניו in whose sight H559 ותאמר And she said H1980 לה לכי unto her, Go, H1323 בתי׃ my daughter.

  13 H559 ותאמר Then she said, H4672 אמצא Let me find H2580 חן favor H5869 בעיניך in thy sight, H113 אדני my lord; H3588 כי for H5162 נחמתני that thou hast comforted H3588 וכי me, and for that H1696 דברת thou hast spoken H5921 על friendly H3820 לב friendly H8198 שׁפחתך unto thine handmaid, H595 ואנכי though I H3808 לא not H1961 אהיה be H259 כאחת like unto one H8198 שׁפחתיך׃ of thine handmaidens.

  23 H7200 ותרא saw H26 אביגיל And when Abigail H853 את   H1732 דוד David, H4116 ותמהר she hasted, H3381 ותרד and lighted H5921 מעל off H2543 החמור the ass, H5307 ותפל and fell H639 לאפי before H1732 דוד David H5921 על on H6440 פניה her face, H7812 ותשׁתחו and bowed herself H776 ארץ׃ to the ground,

  8 H7812 וישׁתחו And he bowed himself, H559 ויאמר and said, H4100 מה What H5650 עבדך thy servant, H3588 כי that H6437 פנית thou shouldest look H413 אל upon H3611 הכלב dog H4191 המת a dead H834 אשׁר such H3644 כמוני׃ as I

  28 H3588 כי For H3808 לא   H1961 היה were H3605 כל all H1004 בית house H1 אבי my father's H3588 כי but H518 אם but H376 אנשׁי men H4194 מות dead H113 לאדני my lord H4428 המלך the king: H7896 ותשׁת yet didst thou set H853 את   H5650 עבדך thy servant H398 באכלי among them that did eat H7979 שׁלחנך at thine own table. H4100 ומה What H3426 ישׁ therefore have H5750 לי עוד any more H6666 צדקה right H2199 ולזעק to cry H5750 עוד   H413 אל unto H4428 המלך׃ the king?

  3 H408 ואל Neither H559 יאמר speak, H1121 בן let the son H5236 הנכר of the stranger, H3867 הנלוה that hath joined himself H413 אל to H3068 יהוה the LORD, H559 לאמר saying, H914 הבדל hath utterly separated H914 יבדילני hath utterly separated H3068 יהוה The LORD H5921 מעל me from H5971 עמו his people: H408 ואל neither H559 יאמר say, H5631 הסריס let the eunuch H2005 הן Behold, H589 אני I H6086 עץ tree. H3002 יבשׁ׃ a dry

  4 H3588 כי For H3541 כה thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H5631 לסריסים unto the eunuchs H834 אשׁר that H8104 ישׁמרו keep H853 את   H7676 שׁבתותי my sabbaths, H977 ובחרו and choose H834 באשׁר that H2654 חפצתי please H2388 ומחזיקים me, and take hold H1285 בבריתי׃ of my covenant;

  5 H5414 ונתתי Even unto them will I give H1004 להם בביתי in mine house H2346 ובחומתי and within my walls H3027 יד a place H8034 ושׁם and a name H2896 טוב better H1121 מבנים than of sons H1323 ומבנות and of daughters: H8034 שׁם name, H5769 עולם them an everlasting H5414 אתן I will give H834 לו אשׁר that H3808 לא shall not H3772 יכרת׃ be cut off.

  6 H1121 ובני Also the sons H5236 הנכר of the stranger, H3867 הנלוים that join themselves H5921 על to H3068 יהוה the LORD, H8334 לשׁרתו to serve H157 ולאהבה him, and to love H853 את   H8034 שׁם the name H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H1961 להיות to be H5650 לו לעבדים his servants, H3605 כל every one H8104 שׁמר that keepeth H7676 שׁבת the sabbath H2490 מחללו from polluting H2388 ומחזיקים it, and taketh hold H1285 בבריתי׃ of my covenant;

  7 H935 והביאותים Even them will I bring H413 אל to H2022 הר mountain, H6944 קדשׁי my holy H8055 ושׂמחתים and make them joyful H1004 בבית in my house H8605 תפלתי of prayer: H5930 עולתיהם their burnt offerings H2077 וזבחיהם and their sacrifices H7522 לרצון accepted H5921 על upon H4196 מזבחי mine altar; H3588 כי for H1004 ביתי mine house H1004 בית a house H8605 תפלה of prayer H7121 יקרא shall be called H3605 לכל for all H5971 העמים׃ people.

  8 H5002 נאם saith, H136 אדני The Lord H3069 יהוה GOD H6908 מקבץ which gathereth H1760 נדחי the outcasts H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H5750 עוד Yet H6908 אקבץ will I gather H5921 עליו to H6908 לנקבציו׃ him, beside those that are gathered

  11 H559 ותאמר said, H5281 נעמי And Naomi H7725 שׁבנה Turn again, H1323 בנתי my daughters: H4100 למה why H1980 תלכנה will ye go H5973 עמי with H5750 העוד me? there yet H1121 לי בנים sons H4578 במעי in my womb, H1961 והיו that they may be H376 לכם לאנשׁים׃ your husbands?

  14 H5375 ותשׂנה And they lifted up H6963 קולן their voice, H1058 ותבכינה and wept H5750 עוד again: H5401 ותשׁק kissed H6204 ערפה and Orpah H2545 לחמותה her mother-in-law; H7327 ורות but Ruth H1692 דבקה׃ cleaved

  15 H559 ותאמר And she said, H2009 הנה Behold, H7725 שׁבה is gone back H2994 יבמתך thy sister-in-law H413 אל unto H5971 עמה her people, H413 ואל and unto H430 אלהיה her gods: H7725 שׁובי return H310 אחרי thou after H2994 יבמתך׃ thy sister-in-law.

  16 H559 ותאמר said, H7327 רות And Ruth H408 אל me not H6293 תפגעי Entreat H5800 בי לעזבך to leave H7725 לשׁוב thee, to return H310 מאחריך from following after H3588 כי thee: for H413 אל whither H834 אשׁר whither H1980 תלכי thou goest, H1980 אלך I will go; H834 ובאשׁר and where H3885 תליני thou lodgest, H3885 אלין I will lodge: H5971 עמך thy people H5971 עמי my people, H430 ואלהיך and thy God H430 אלהי׃ my God:

  17 H834 באשׁר Where H4191 תמותי thou diest, H4191 אמות will I die, H8033 ושׁם and there H6912 אקבר will I be buried: H3541 כה so H6213 יעשׂה do H3068 יהוה the LORD H3541 לי וכה also, H3254 יסיף to me, and more H3588 כי but H4194 המות death H6504 יפריד part H996 ביני thee H996 ובינך׃ and me.

  18 H7200 ותרא When she saw H3588 כי that H553 מתאמצת was steadfastly minded H1931 היא she H1980 ללכת to go H854 אתה with H2308 ותחדל her, then she left H1696 לדבר speaking H413 אליה׃ unto

  19 H1980 ותלכנה went H8147 שׁתיהם So they two H5704 עד until H935 באנה they came H1035 בית לחם to Bethlehem. H1961 ויהי And it came to pass, H935 כבאנה when they were come H1035 בית לחם to Bethlehem, H1949 ותהם was moved H3605 כל that all H5892 העיר the city H5921 עליהן about H559 ותאמרנה them, and they said, H2063 הזאת this H5281 נעמי׃ Naomi?

  20 H559 ותאמר And she said H413 אליהן unto H408 אל me not H7121 תקראנה them, Call H5281 לי נעמי Naomi, H7121 קראן call H4755 לי מרא me Mara: H3588 כי for H4843 המר hath dealt very bitterly H7706 שׁדי the Almighty H3966 לי מאד׃ hath dealt very bitterly

  21 H589 אני I H4390 מלאה   H1980 הלכתי went out H7387 וריקם empty: H7725 השׁיבני hath brought me home again H3068 יהוה and the LORD H4100 למה why H7121 תקראנה call H5281 לי נעמי ye me Naomi, H3068 ויהוה seeing the LORD H6030 ענה hath testified H7706 בי ושׁדי against me, and the Almighty H7489 הרע׃ hath afflicted
