  6 H559 ויאמר said H87 אברם But Abram H413 אל unto H8297 שׂרי Sarai, H2009 הנה Behold, H8198 שׁפחתך thy maid H3027 בידך in thy hand; H6213 עשׂי do H2896 לה הטוב to her as it pleaseth H5869 בעיניך to her as it pleaseth H6031 ותענה dealt hardly H8297 שׂרי thee. And when Sarai H1272 ותברח with her, she fled H6440 מפניה׃ from her face.

  7 H4672 וימצאה found H4397 מלאך And the angel H3068 יהוה of the LORD H5921 על her by H5869 עין a fountain H4325 המים of water H4057 במדבר in the wilderness, H5921 על by H5869 העין the fountain H1870 בדרך in the way H7793 שׁור׃ to Shur.

  8 H559 ויאמר And he said, H1904 הגר Hagar, H8198 שׁפחת maid, H8297 שׂרי Sarai's H335 אי whence H2088 מזה   H935 באת camest H575 ואנה thou? and whither H1980 תלכי wilt thou go?   16 H87 ואברם And Abram H1121 בן old, H8084 שׁמנים fourscore H8141 שׁנה years H8337 ושׁשׁ and six H8141 שׁנים   H3205 בלדת bore H1904 הגר when Hagar H853 את   H3458 ישׁמעאל Ishmael H87 לאברם׃ to Abram.

  30 H1961 ותהי was H8297 שׂרי But Sarai H6135 עקרה barren; H369 אין she no H2056 לה ולד׃ child.

  16 H87 ולאברם   H3190 היטיב   H5668 בעבורה for her sake: H1961 ויהי and he had H6629 לו צאן sheep, H1241 ובקר and oxen, H2543 וחמרים and he asses, H5650 ועבדים and menservants, H8198 ושׁפחת and maidservants, H860 ואתנת and she asses, H1581 וגמלים׃ and camels.

  4 H559 ויאמר said H5175 הנחשׁ And the serpent H413 אל unto H802 האשׁה the woman, H3808 לא Ye shall not H4191 מות surely die: H4191 תמתון׃ surely die:

  5 H3588 כי For H3045 ידע doth know H430 אלהים God H3588 כי that H3117 ביום in the day H398 אכלכם ye eat H4480 ממנו thereof, H6491 ונפקחו shall be opened, H5869 עיניכם then your eyes H1961 והייתם and ye shall be H430 כאלהים as gods, H3045 ידעי knowing H2896 טוב good H7451 ורע׃ and evil.

  3 H559 ותאמר And she said, H2009 הנה Behold H519 אמתי my maid H1090 בלהה Bilhah, H935 בא go in H413 אליה unto H3205 ותלד her; and she shall bear H5921 על upon H1290 ברכי my knees, H1129 ואבנה have children H1571 גם may also H595 אנכי that I H4480 ממנה׃ by

  4 H5414 ותתן And she gave H853 לו את   H1090 בלהה him Bilhah H8198 שׁפחתה her handmaid H802 לאשׁה to wife: H935 ויבא went in H413 אליה unto H3290 יעקב׃ and Jacob

  10 H3205 ותלד bore H2153 זלפה And Zilpah H8198 שׁפחת maid H3812 לאה Leah's H3290 ליעקב Jacob H1121 בן׃ a son.

  22 H2142 ויזכר remembered H430 אלהים And God H853 את   H7354 רחל Rachel, H8085 וישׁמע hearkened H413 אליה to H430 אלהים and God H6605 ויפתח her, and opened H853 את   H7358 רחמה׃ her womb.

  4 H518 אם If H113 אדניו his master H5414 יתן have given H802 לו אשׁה him a wife, H3205 וילדה and she have born H1121 לו בנים him sons H176 או or H1323 בנות daughters; H802 האשׁה the wife H3206 וילדיה and her children H1961 תהיה shall be H113 לאדניה her master's, H1931 והוא and he H3318 יצא shall go out H1610 בגפו׃ by himself.

  4 H5414 ותתן And she gave H853 לו את   H1090 בלהה him Bilhah H8198 שׁפחתה her handmaid H802 לאשׁה to wife: H935 ויבא went in H413 אליה unto H3290 יעקב׃ and Jacob

  22 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass, H7931 בשׁכן dwelt H3478 ישׂראל when Israel H776 בארץ land, H1931 ההוא in that H1980 וילך went H7205 ראובן that Reuben H7901 וישׁכב and lay with H853 את   H1090 בלהה Bilhah H6370 פילגשׁ concubine: H1 אביו his father's H8085 וישׁמע heard H3478 ישׂראל and Israel H1961 ויהיו were H1121 בני Now the sons H3290 יעקב of Jacob H8147 שׁנים twelve: H6240 עשׂר׃ twelve:

  8 H6833 כצפור As a bird H5074 נודדת that wandereth H4480 מן from H7064 קנה her nest, H3651 כן so H376 אישׁ a man H5074 נודד that wandereth H4725 ממקומו׃ from his place.

  19 H1697 בדברים by words: H3808 לא will not H3256 יוסר be corrected H5650 עבד A servant H3588 כי for though H995 יבין he understand H369 ואין he will not H4617 מענה׃ answer.

  4 H518 אם If H7307 רוח the spirit H4910 המושׁל of the ruler H5927 תעלה rise up H5921 עליך against H4725 מקומך thy place; H408 אל not H3240 תנח   H3588 כי for H4832 מרפא yielding H3240 יניח   H2399 חטאים offenses. H1419 גדולים׃ great

  17 H3808 הלוא Hast thou not H2063 זאת this H6213 תעשׂה procured H5800 לך עזבך unto thyself, in that thou hast forsaken H853 את   H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God, H6256 בעת when H1980 מוליכך he led H1870 בדרך׃ thee by the way?
