  3 H5046 ויגד may show H3069 לנו יהוה   H430 אלהיך thy God H853 את   H1870 הדרך us the way H834 אשׁר wherein H1980 נלך we may walk, H853 בה ואת   H1697 הדבר and the thing H834 אשׁר that H6213 נעשׂה׃ we may do.

  4 H559 ויאמר said H413 אליהם unto H3414 ירמיהו Then Jeremiah H5030 הנביא the prophet H8085 שׁמעתי them, I have heard H2005 הנני   H6419 מתפלל I will pray H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God H1697 כדבריכם according to your words; H1961 והיה and it shall come to pass, H3605 כל whatsoever H1697 הדבר thing H834 אשׁר whatsoever H6030 יענה shall answer H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 אתכם   H5046 אגיד you, I will declare H3808 לכם לא   H4513 אמנע   H4480 מכם from H1697 דבר׃  

  5 H1992 והמה Then they H559 אמרו said H413 אל to H3414 ירמיהו Jeremiah, H1961 יהי be H3068 יהוה The LORD H5707 בנו לעד witness H571 אמת a true H539 ונאמן and faithful H518 אם between us, if H3808 לא not H3605 ככל according to all H1697 הדבר things H834 אשׁר for the which H7971 ישׁלחך shall send H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H413 אלינו thee to H3651 כן even H6213 נעשׂה׃ we do

  6 H518 אם Whether H2896 טוב good, H518 ואם or whether H7451 רע evil, H6963 בקול the voice H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהינו our God, H834 אשׁר to whom H580 אנו we H7971 שׁלחים send H853 אתך   H413 אליו   H8085 נשׁמע we will obey H4616 למען thee; that H834 אשׁר thee; that H3190 ייטב it may be well H3588 לנו כי with us, when H8085 נשׁמע we obey H6963 בקול the voice H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהינו׃ our God.

  7 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H7093 מקץ after H6235 עשׂרת ten H3117 ימים days, H1961 ויהי came H1697 דבר that the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H413 אל unto H3414 ירמיהו׃ Jeremiah.

  8 H7121 ויקרא   H413 אל   H3110 יוחנן he Johanan H1121 בן the son H7143 קרח of Kareah, H413 ואל   H3605 כל and all H8269 שׂרי the captains H2428 החילים of the forces H834 אשׁר which H854 אתו with H3605 ולכל him, and all H5971 העם the people H6996 למקטן from the least H5704 ועד even to H1419 גדול׃ the greatest,

  9 H559 ויאמר And said H413 אליהם unto H3541 כה them, Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H430 אלהי the God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H834 אשׁר whom H7971 שׁלחתם ye sent H853 אתי   H413 אליו unto H5307 להפיל me to present H8467 תחנתכם your supplication H6440 לפניו׃ before

  10 H518 אם If H7725 שׁוב ye will still abide H3427 תשׁבו ye will still abide H776 בארץ land, H2063 הזאת in this H1129 ובניתי then will I build H853 אתכם   H3808 ולא you, and not H2040 אהרס pull down, H5193 ונטעתי and I will plant H853 אתכם   H3808 ולא you, and not H5428 אתושׁ pluck up: H3588 כי for H5162 נחמתי I repent H413 אל me of H7451 הרעה the evil H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂיתי׃ I have done

  11 H408 אל Be not H3372 תיראו afraid H6440 מפני of H4428 מלך the king H894 בבל of Babylon, H834 אשׁר of whom H859 אתם ye H3373 יראים   H6440 מפניו   H408 אל be not H3372 תיראו are afraid; H4480 ממנו of H5002 נאם him, saith H3068 יהוה the LORD: H3588 כי for H854 אתכם with H589 אני I H3467 להושׁיע you to save H853 אתכם   H5337 ולהציל you, and to deliver H853 אתכם   H3027 מידו׃ you from his hand.

  12 H5414 ואתן And I will show H7356 לכם רחמים mercies H7355 ורחם unto you, that he may have mercy upon H853 אתכם   H7725 והשׁיב   H853 אתכם   H413 אל to H127 אדמתכם׃ your own land.

  13 H518 ואם But if H559 אמרים say, H859 אתם ye H3808 לא We will not H3427 נשׁב dwell H776 בארץ land, H2063 הזאת in this H1115 לבלתי neither H8085 שׁמע obey H6963 בקול the voice H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיכם׃ your God,

  14 H559 לאמר Saying, H3808 לא No; H3588 כי but H776 ארץ into the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H935 נבוא we will go H834 אשׁר where H3808 לא no H7200 נראה we shall see H4421 מלחמה war, H6963 וקול the sound H7782 שׁופר of the trumpet, H3808 לא nor H8085 נשׁמע hear H3899 וללחם of bread; H3808 לא nor H7456 נרעב have hunger H8033 ושׁם and there H3427 נשׁב׃ will we dwell:

  15 H6258 ועתה And now H3651 לכן therefore H8085 שׁמעו hear H1697 דבר the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H7611 שׁארית ye remnant H3063 יהודה of Judah; H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts, H430 אלהי the God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel; H518 אם If H859 אתם ye H7760 שׂום wholly set H7760 תשׂמון wholly set H6440 פניכם your faces H935 לבא to enter into H4714 מצרים Egypt, H935 ובאתם and go H1481 לגור to sojourn H8033 שׁם׃ there;

  16 H1961 והיתה Then it shall come to pass, H2719 החרב the sword, H834 אשׁר which H859 אתם ye H3372 יראים   H4480 ממנה feared, H8033 שׁם you there H5381 תשׂיג shall overtake H853 אתכם   H776 בארץ in the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H7458 והרעב and the famine, H834 אשׁר whereof H859 אתם ye H1672 דאגים were afraid, H4480 ממנו were afraid, H8033 שׁם you there H1692 ידבק shall follow close H310 אחריכם after H4714 מצרים in Egypt; H8033 ושׁם and there H4191 תמתו׃ ye shall die.

  17 H1961 ויהיו So shall it be H3605 כל with all H376 האנשׁים the men H834 אשׁר that H7760 שׂמו set H853 את   H6440 פניהם their faces H935 לבוא to go into H4714 מצרים Egypt H1481 לגור to sojourn H8033 שׁם there; H4191 ימותו they shall die H2719 בחרב by the sword, H7458 ברעב by the famine, H1698 ובדבר and by the pestilence: H3808 ולא and none H1961 יהיה of them shall H8300 להם שׂריד remain H6412 ופליט or escape H6440 מפני from H7451 הרעה the evil H834 אשׁר that H589 אני I H935 מביא will bring H5921 עליהם׃ upon

  18 H3588 כי For H3541 כה thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts, H430 אלהי the God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel; H834 כאשׁר As H5413 נתך hath been poured forth H639 אפי mine anger H2534 וחמתי and my fury H5921 על upon H3427 ישׁבי the inhabitants H3389 ירושׁלם of Jerusalem; H3651 כן so H5413 תתך be poured forth H2534 חמתי shall my fury H5921 עליכם upon H935 בבאכם enter into H4714 מצרים Egypt: H1961 והייתם you, when ye shall H423 לאלה and ye shall be an execration, H8047 ולשׁמה and an astonishment, H7045 ולקללה and a curse, H2781 ולחרפה and a reproach; H3808 ולא no H7200 תראו and ye shall see H5750 עוד more. H853 את   H4725 המקום place H2088 הזה׃ this

  19 H1696 דבר hath said H3068 יהוה The LORD H5921 עליכם concerning H7611 שׁארית you, O ye remnant H3063 יהודה of Judah; H408 אל ye not H935 תבאו Go H4714 מצרים into Egypt: H3045 ידע know certainly H3045 תדעו know certainly H3588 כי that H5749 העידתי I have admonished H3117 בכם היום׃ you this day.

  20 H3588 כי For H8582 התעתים ye dissembled H5315 בנפשׁותיכם in your hearts, H3588 כי when H859 אתם ye H7971 שׁלחתם sent H853 אתי   H413 אל me unto H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God, H559 לאמר saying, H6419 התפלל Pray H5704 בעדנו   H413 אל us unto H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהינו our God; H3605 וככל and according unto all H834 אשׁר that H559 יאמר shall say, H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהינו our God H3651 כן so H5046 הגד declare H6213 לנו ועשׂינו׃ unto us, and we will do

  21 H5046 ואגד declared H3117 לכם היום And I have this day H3808 ולא to you; but ye have not H8085 שׁמעתם obeyed H6963 בקול the voice H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God, H3605 ולכל nor any H834 אשׁר for the which H7971 שׁלחני he hath sent H413 אליכם׃ me unto

  22 H6258 ועתה Now H3045 ידע therefore know certainly H3045 תדעו therefore know certainly H3588 כי that H2719 בחרב by the sword, H7458 ברעב by the famine, H1698 ובדבר and by the pestilence, H4191 תמותו ye shall die H4725 במקום in the place H834 אשׁר whither H2654 חפצתם ye desire H935 לבוא to go H1481 לגור to sojourn. H8033 שׁם׃ whither

  23 H8085 וישׁמעו heard H3605 כל And when all H8269 שׂרי the captains H2428 החילים of the armies, H1992 המה they H376 והאנשׁים and their men, H3588 כי that H6485 הפקיד governor, H4428 מלך the king H894 בבל of Babylon H853 את   H1436 גדליהו had made Gedaliah H935 ויבאו there came H413 אל to H1436 גדליהו Gedaliah H4709 המצפה to Mizpah, H3458 וישׁמעאל even Ishmael H1121 בן the son H5418 נתניה of Nethaniah, H3110 ויוחנן and Johanan H1121 בן the son H7143 קרח of Careah, H8304 ושׂריה and Seraiah H1121 בן the son H8576 תנחמת of Tanhumeth H5200 הנטפתי the Netophathite, H2970 ויאזניהו and Jaazaniah H1121 בן the son H4602 המעכתי of a Maachathite, H1992 המה they H376 ואנשׁיהם׃ and their men.

  13 H559 ויאמר said, H136 אדני Wherefore the Lord H3282 יען   H3588 כי   H5066 נגשׁ draw near H5971 העם people H2088 הזה as this H6310 בפיו with their mouth, H8193 ובשׂפתיו and with their lips H3513 כבדוני do honor H3820 ולבו me, but have removed their heart far H7368 רחק me, but have removed their heart far H4480 ממני from H1961 ותהי me is H3373 יראתם   H853 אתי   H4687 מצות by the precept H376 אנשׁים of men: H3925 מלמדה׃ taught

  1 H8085 שׁמעו Hear H2063 זאת ye this, H1004 בית O house H3290 יעקב of Jacob, H7121 הנקראים which are called H8034 בשׁם by the name H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H4325 וממי out of the waters H3063 יהודה of Judah, H3318 יצאו and are come forth H7650 הנשׁבעים which swear H8034 בשׁם by the name H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H430 ובאלהי of the God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H2142 יזכירו and make mention H3808 לא not H571 באמת in truth, H3808 ולא nor H6666 בצדקה׃ in righteousness.

  1 H7121 קרא Cry H1627 בגרון aloud, H408 אל not, H2820 תחשׂך spare H7782 כשׁופר like a trumpet, H7311 הרם lift up H6963 קולך thy voice H5046 והגד and show H5971 לעמי my people H6588 פשׁעם their transgression, H1004 ולבית and the house H3290 יעקב of Jacob H2403 חטאתם׃ their sins.

  2 H853 ואותי   H3117 יום me daily, H3117 יום me daily, H1875 ידרשׁון Yet they seek H1847 ודעת to know H1870 דרכי my ways, H2654 יחפצון and delight H1471 כגוי as a nation H834 אשׁר that H6666 צדקה righteousness, H6213 עשׂה did H4941 ומשׁפט the ordinance H430 אלהיו of their God: H3808 לא not H5800 עזב and forsook H7592 ישׁאלוני they ask H4941 משׁפטי of me the ordinances H6664 צדק of justice; H7132 קרבת in approaching H430 אלהים to God. H2654 יחפצון׃ they take delight

  4 H589 ואני Therefore I H559 אמרתי said, H389 אך Surely H1800 דלים poor; H1992 הם these H2973 נואלו they are foolish: H3588 כי for H3808 לא not H3045 ידעו they know H1870 דרך the way H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H4941 משׁפט the judgment H430 אלהיהם׃ of their God.

  5 H1980 אלכה I will get H413 לי אל me unto H1419 הגדלים the great men, H1696 ואדברה and will speak unto H853 אותם   H3588 כי them; for H1992 המה they H3045 ידעו have known H1870 דרך the way H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H4941 משׁפט the judgment H430 אלהיהם of their God: H389 אך but H1992 המה these H3162 יחדו have altogether H7665 שׁברו broken H5923 על the yoke, H5423 נתקו burst H4147 מוסרות׃ the bonds.

  13 H3588 כי For H6996 מקטנם from the least H5704 ועד of them even unto H1419 גדולם the greatest H3605 כלו of them every one H1214 בוצע given to H1215 בצע covetousness; H5030 ומנביא and from the prophet H5704 ועד even unto H3548 כהן the priest H3605 כלו every one H6213 עשׂה dealeth H8267 שׁקר׃ falsely.

  10 H3651 לכן Therefore H5414 אתן will I give H853 את   H802 נשׁיהם their wives H312 לאחרים unto others, H7704 שׂדותיהם their fields H3423 ליורשׁים to them that shall inherit H3588 כי for H6996 מקטן from the least H5704 ועד even unto H1419 גדול the greatest H3605 כלה every one H1214 בצע is given to covetousness, H1215 בצע is given to covetousness, H5030 מנביא from the prophet H5704 ועד even unto H3548 כהן the priest H3605 כלה every one H6213 עשׂה dealeth H8267 שׁקר׃ falsely.

  8 H935 ויבאו Then they came H413 אל to H1436 גדליה Gedaliah H4708 המצפתה to Mizpah, H3458 וישׁמעאל even Ishmael H1121 בן the son H5418 נתניהו of Nethaniah, H3110 ויוחנן and Johanan H3129 ויונתן and Jonathan H1121 בני the sons H7143 קרח of Kareah, H8304 ושׂריה and Seraiah H1121 בן the son H8576 תנחמת of Tanhumeth, H1121 ובני and the sons H5778 עופי of Ephai H5200 הנטפתי the Netophathite, H3153 ויזניהו and Jezaniah H1121 בן the son H4602 המעכתי of a Maachathite, H1992 המה they H582 ואנשׁיהם׃  

  13 H3110 ויוחנן Moreover Johanan H1121 בן the son H7143 קרח of Kareah, H3605 וכל and all H8269 שׂרי the captains H2428 החילים of the forces H834 אשׁר that H7704 בשׂדה in the fields, H935 באו came H413 אל to H1436 גדליהו Gedaliah H4708 המצפתה׃ to Mizpah,

  11 H8085 וישׁמע him, heard H3110 יוחנן But when Johanan H1121 בן the son H7143 קרח of Kareah, H3605 וכל and all H8269 שׂרי the captains H2428 החילים of the forces H834 אשׁר that H854 אתו with H853 את   H3605 כל of all H7451 הרעה the evil H834 אשׁר that H6213 עשׂה had done, H3458 ישׁמעאל Ishmael H1121 בן the son H5418 נתניה׃ of Nethaniah

  16 H3947 ויקח Then took H3110 יוחנן Johanan H1121 בן the son H7143 קרח of Kareah, H3605 וכל and all H8269 שׂרי the captains H2428 החילים of the forces H834 אשׁר that H854 אתו with H853 את   H3605 כל him, all H7611 שׁארית the remnant H5971 העם of the people H834 אשׁר whom H7725 השׁיב he had recovered H853 מאת   H3458 ישׁמעאל Ishmael H1121 בן the son H5418 נתניה of Nethaniah, H4480 מן from H4709 המצפה Mizpah, H310 אחר after H5221 הכה he had slain H853 את   H1436 גדליה Gedaliah H1121 בן the son H296 אחיקם of Ahikam, H1397 גברים mighty H376 אנשׁי men H4421 המלחמה of war, H802 ונשׁים and the women, H2945 וטף and the children, H5631 וסרסים and the eunuchs, H834 אשׁר whom H7725 השׁיב he had brought again H1391 מגבעון׃

  20 H3588 כי For H8582 התעתים ye dissembled H5315 בנפשׁותיכם in your hearts, H3588 כי when H859 אתם ye H7971 שׁלחתם sent H853 אתי   H413 אל me unto H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God, H559 לאמר saying, H6419 התפלל Pray H5704 בעדנו   H413 אל us unto H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהינו our God; H3605 וככל and according unto all H834 אשׁר that H559 יאמר shall say, H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהינו our God H3651 כן so H5046 הגד declare H6213 לנו ועשׂינו׃ unto us, and we will do

  4 H3808 ולא not H8085 שׁמע obeyed H3110 יוחנן So Johanan H1121 בן the son H7143 קרח of Kareah, H3605 וכל and all H8269 שׂרי the captains H2428 החילים of the forces, H3605 וכל and all H5971 העם the people, H6963 בקול the voice H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H3427 לשׁבת to dwell H776 בארץ in the land H3063 יהודה׃ of Judah.

  5 H3947 ויקח took H3110 יוחנן But Johanan H1121 בן the son H7143 קרח of Kareah, H3605 וכל and all H8269 שׂרי the captains H2428 החילים of the forces, H853 את   H3605 כל all H7611 שׁארית the remnant H3063 יהודה of Judah, H834 אשׁר that H7725 שׁבו were returned H3605 מכל from all H1471 הגוים nations, H834 אשׁר whither H5080 נדחו they had been driven, H8033 שׁם whither H1481 לגור to dwell H776 בארץ in the land H3063 יהודה׃ of Judah;

  12 H3947 ולקחתי And I will take H853 את   H7611 שׁארית the remnant H3063 יהודה of Judah, H834 אשׁר that H7760 שׂמו have set H6440 פניהם their faces H935 לבוא to go into H776 ארץ the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt H1481 לגור to sojourn H8033 שׁם there, H8552 ותמו be consumed, H3605 כל and they shall all H776 בארץ in the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt; H5307 יפלו fall H2719 בחרב by the sword H7458 ברעב by the famine: H8552 יתמו they shall be consumed H6996 מקטן from the least H5704 ועד even unto H1419 גדול the greatest, H2719 בחרב by the sword H7458 וברעב and by the famine: H4191 ימתו they shall die, H1961 והיו and they shall be H423 לאלה an execration, H8047 לשׁמה an astonishment, H7045 ולקללה and a curse, H2781 ולחרפה׃ and a reproach.

  11 H7657 ושׁבעים them seventy H376 אישׁ men H2205 מזקני of the ancients H1004 בית of the house H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H2970 ויאזניהו Jaazaniah H1121 בן the son H8227 שׁפן of Shaphan, H5975 עמד And there stood H8432 בתוכם and in the midst H5975 עמדים of them stood H6440 לפניהם before H376 ואישׁ with every man H4730 מקטרתו his censer H3027 בידו in his hand; H6282 ועתר and a thick H6051 ענן cloud H7004 הקטרת of incense H5927 עלה׃ went up.

  1 H5375 ותשׂא   H853 אתי   H7307 רוח Moreover the spirit H935 ותבא and brought H853 אתי   H413 אל me unto H8179 שׁער gate H1004 בית house, H3068 יהוה of the LORD's H6931 הקדמוני the east H6437 הפונה which looketh H6921 קדימה eastward: H2009 והנה and behold H6607 בפתח at the door H8179 השׁער of the gate H6242 עשׂרים and twenty H2568 וחמשׁה five H376 אישׁ men; H7200 ואראה whom I saw H8432 בתוכם among H853 את   H2970 יאזניה Jaazaniah H1121 בן the son H5809 עזר of Azur, H853 ואת   H6410 פלטיהו and Pelatiah H1121 בן the son H1141 בניהו of Benaiah, H8269 שׂרי princes H5971 העם׃ of the people.

  3 H1121 בן Son H120 אדם of man, H376 האנשׁים men H428 האלה these H5927 העלו have set up H1544 גלוליהם their idols H5921 על in H3820 לבם their heart, H4383 ומכשׁול the stumblingblock H5771 עונם of their iniquity H5414 נתנו and put H5227 נכח before H6440 פניהם their face: H1875 האדרשׁ   H1875 אדרשׁ׃  

  4 H3651 לכן Therefore H1696 דבר speak H853 אותם   H559 ואמרת unto them, and say H413 אליהם unto H3541 כה them, Thus H559 אמר saith H136 אדני the Lord H3069 יהוה GOD; H376 אישׁ   H376 אישׁ   H1004 מבית of the house H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H834 אשׁר that H5927 יעלה setteth up H853 את   H1544 גלוליו his idols H413 אל in H3820 לבו his heart, H4383 ומכשׁול the stumblingblock H5771 עונו of his iniquity H7760 ישׂים and putteth H5227 נכח before H6440 פניו his face, H935 ובא and cometh H413 אל to H5030 הנביא the prophet; H589 אני I H3068 יהוה the LORD H6030 נעניתי will answer H7230 לו בה ברב according to the multitude H1544 גלוליו׃ of his idols;

  1 H1961 ויהי And it came to pass H8141 בשׁנה year, H7637 השׁביעית in the seventh H2549 בחמשׁי in the fifth H6218 בעשׂור the tenth H2320 לחדשׁ of the month, H935 באו came H582 אנשׁים   H2205 מזקני of the elders H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H1875 לדרשׁ to inquire H853 את   H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H3427 וישׁבו and sat H6440 לפני׃ before

  2 H1961 ויהי Then came H1697 דבר the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H413 אלי unto H559 לאמר׃ me, saying,

  31 H935 ויבואו And they come H413 אליך unto H3996 כמבוא cometh, H5971 עם thee as the people H3427 וישׁבו and they sit H6440 לפניך before H5971 עמי thee my people, H8085 ושׁמעו and they hear H853 את   H1697 דבריך thy words, H853 ואותם   H3808 לא but they will not H6213 יעשׂו do H3588 כי them: for H5690 עגבים much love, H6310 בפיהם with their mouth H1992 המה they H6213 עשׂים show H310 אחרי after H1215 בצעם their covetousness. H3820 לבם their heart H1980 הלך׃ goeth

  28 H559 ויאמר said, H6547 פרעה And Pharaoh H595 אנכי I H7971 אשׁלח will let you go, H853 אתכם   H2076 וזבחתם that ye may sacrifice H3068 ליהוה to the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God H4057 במדבר in the wilderness; H7535 רק only H7368 הרחק very far away: H3808 לא ye shall not H7368 תרחיקו very far away: H1980 ללכת go H6279 העתירו entreat H1157 בעדי׃ for

  28 H6279 העתירו   H413 אל   H3068 יהוה the LORD H7227 ורב (for enough) H1961 מהית that there be no H6963 קלת thunderings H430 אלהים mighty H1259 וברד and hail; H7971 ואשׁלחה and I will let you go, H853 אתכם   H3808 ולא no H3254 תספון longer. H5975 לעמד׃ and ye shall stay

  22 H7971 והשׁלחתי I will also send H853 בכם את   H2416 חית beasts H7704 השׂדה wild H7921 ושׁכלה   H853 אתכם   H3772 והכריתה and destroy H853 את   H929 בהמתכם your cattle, H4591 והמעיטה   H853 אתכם   H8074 ונשׁמו shall be desolate. H1870 דרכיכם׃ and your ways

  27 H6327 והפיץ shall scatter H3068 יהוה And the LORD H853 אתכם   H5971 בעמים you among the nations, H7604 ונשׁארתם and ye shall be left H4962 מתי few H4557 מספר in number H1471 בגוים among the heathen, H834 אשׁר whither H5090 ינהג shall lead H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 אתכם   H8033 שׁמה׃ whither

  62 H7604 ונשׁארתם And ye shall be left H4962 במתי in number, H4592 מעט few H8478 תחת whereas H834 אשׁר whereas H1961 הייתם ye were H3556 ככוכבי as the stars H8064 השׁמים of heaven H7230 לרב for multitude; H3588 כי because H3808 לא thou wouldest not H8085 שׁמעת obey H6963 בקול the voice H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיך׃ thy God.

  8 H559 ויאמרו said H1121 בני And the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H413 אל to H8050 שׁמואל Samuel, H408 אל not H2790 תחרשׁ Cease H4480 ממנו to cry H2199 מזעק to cry H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהינו our God H3467 וישׁענו us, that he will save H3027 מיד us out of the hand H6430 פלשׁתים׃ of the Philistines.

  6 H6030 ויען answered H4428 המלך And the king H559 ויאמר and said H413 אל unto H376 אישׁ the man H430 האלהים of God, H2470 חל Entreat H4994 נא now H853 את   H6440 פני the face H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God, H6419 והתפלל and pray H1157 בעדי for H7725 ותשׁב may be restored me again.   20 H6258 ועתה now, H8085 שׁמע Therefore hear H4994 נא I pray thee, H113 אדני O my lord H4428 המלך the king: H5307 תפל be accepted H4994 נא I pray thee, H8467 תחנתי let my supplication, H6440 לפניך before H408 ואל thee; that thou cause me not H7725 תשׁבני to return H1004 בית to the house H3083 יהונתן of Jonathan H5608 הספר the scribe, H3808 ולא lest H4191 אמות I die H8033 שׁם׃ there.

  1 H349 איכה How H3427 ישׁבה sit H910 בדד solitary, H5892 העיר doth the city H7227 רבתי full H5971 עם of people! H1961 היתה is she become H490 כאלמנה as a widow! H7227 רבתי she great H1471 בגוים among the nations, H8282 שׂרתי princess H4082 במדינות among the provinces, H1961 היתה is she become H4522 למס׃ tributary!

  3 H3947 ולקחת Thou shalt also take H8033 משׁם thereof H4592 מעט a few H4557 במספר in number, H6696 וצרת and bind H853 אותם   H3671 בכנפיך׃ them in thy skirts.

  4 H1992 ומהם   H5750 עוד them again, H3947 תקח Then take H7993 והשׁלכת and cast H853 אותם   H413 אל them into H8432 תוך the midst H784 האשׁ of the fire, H8313 ושׂרפת and burn H853 אתם   H784 באשׁ them in the fire; H4480 ממנו of H3318 תצא come forth H784 אשׁ shall a fire H413 אל into H3605 כל all H1004 בית the house H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

  16 H3498 והותרתי But I will leave H1992 מהם   H376 אנשׁי men H4557 מספר a few H2719 מחרב them from the sword, H7458 מרעב from the famine, H1698 ומדבר and from the pestilence; H4616 למען that H5608 יספרו they may declare H853 את   H3605 כל all H8441 תועבותיהם their abominations H1471 בגוים among the heathen H834 אשׁר whither H935 באו they come; H8033 שׁם whither H3045 וידעו and they shall know H3588 כי that H589 אני I H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

  8 H1961 והיה And it shall come to pass, H3605 בכל in all H776 הארץ the land, H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H6310 פי parts H8147 שׁנים two H3772 בה יכרתו therein shall be cut off H1478 יגועו die; H7992 והשׁלשׁית but the third H3498 יותר׃ shall be left

  9 H935 והבאתי And I will bring H853 את   H7992 השׁלשׁית the third part H784 באשׁ through the fire, H6884 וצרפתים and will refine H6884 כצרף is refined, H853 את   H3701 הכסף them as silver H974 ובחנתים and will try H974 כבחן is tried: H853 את   H2091 הזהב them as gold H1931 הוא they H7121 יקרא shall call H8034 בשׁמי on my name, H589 ואני and I H6030 אענה will hear H853 אתו   H559 אמרתי them: I will say, H5971 עמי my people: H1931 הוא It H1931 והוא and they H559 יאמר shall say, H3068 יהוה The LORD H430 אלהי׃ my God.

  26 H3588 כי For H4310 מי who H3605 כל all H1320 בשׂר flesh, H834 אשׁר that H8085 שׁמע hath heard H6963 קול the voice H430 אלהים God H2416 חיים of the living H1696 מדבר speaking H8432 מתוך out of the midst H784 האשׁ of the fire, H3644 כמנו as we H2421 ויחי׃ and lived?

  29 H4310 מי   H5414 יתן   H1961 והיה there were H3824 לבבם a heart H2088 זה such H3372 להם ליראה in them, that they would fear H853 אתי   H8104 ולשׁמר me, and keep H853 את   H3605 כל all H4687 מצותי my commandments H3605 כל always, H3117 הימים always, H4616 למען that H3190 ייטב it might be well H1121 להם ולבניהם with them, and with their children H5769 לעלם׃ forever!

  36 H859 ואתה thou H8085 תשׁמע Then hear H8064 השׁמים in heaven, H5545 וסלחת and forgive H2403 לחטאת the sin H5650 עבדיך of thy servants, H5971 ועמך and of thy people H3478 ישׂראל Israel, H3588 כי that H3384 תורם thou teach H853 את   H1870 הדרך way H2896 הטובה good H834 אשׁר them the H1980 ילכו wherein they should walk, H5414 בה ונתתה and give H4306 מטר rain H5921 על upon H776 ארצך thy land, H834 אשׁר which H5414 נתתה thou hast given H5971 לעמך to thy people H5159 לנחלה׃ for an inheritance.

  21 H7121 ואקרא Then I proclaimed H8033 שׁם there, H6685 צום a fast H5921 על at H5104 הנהר the river H163 אהוא of Ahava, H6031 להתענות that we might afflict ourselves H6440 לפני before H430 אלהינו our God, H1245 לבקשׁ to seek H4480 ממנו of H1870 דרך way H3477 ישׁרה him a right H2945 לנו ולטפנו for us, and for our little ones, H3605 ולכל and for all H7399 רכושׁנו׃ our substance.

  5 H1869 הדריכני Lead H571 באמתך me in thy truth, H3925 ולמדני and teach H3588 כי me: for H859 אתה thou H430 אלהי the God H3468 ישׁעי of my salvation; H854 אותך   H6960 קויתי on thee do I wait H3605 כל all H3117 היום׃ the day.

  11 H3384 הורני Teach H3068 יהוה O LORD, H1870 דרכך me thy way, H5148 ונחני and lead H734 בארח path, H4334 מישׁור me in a plain H4616 למען because of H8324 שׁוררי׃ mine enemies.

  9 H5337 הצילני Deliver H341 מאיבי from mine enemies: H3068 יהוה me, O LORD, H413 אליך   H3680 כסתי׃  

  10 H3925 למדני Teach H6213 לעשׂות me to do H7522 רצונך thy will; H3588 כי for H859 אתה thou H433 אלוהי   H7307 רוחך thy spirit H2896 טובה good; H5148 תנחני lead H776 בארץ me into the land H4334 מישׁור׃ of uprightness.

  6 H3605 בכל In all H1870 דרכיך thy ways H3045 דעהו acknowledge H1931 והוא him, and he H3474 יישׁר shall direct H734 ארחתיך׃ thy paths.

  3 H1980 והלכו shall go H5971 עמים people H7227 רבים And many H559 ואמרו and say, H1980 לכו Come H5927 ונעלה ye, and let us go up H413 אל to H2022 הר the mountain H3069 יהוה   H413 אל to H1004 בית the house H430 אלהי of the God H3290 יעקב of Jacob; H3384 וירנו and he will teach H1870 מדרכיו us of his ways, H1980 ונלכה and we will walk H734 בארחתיו in his paths: H3588 כי for H6726 מציון   H3318 תצא shall go forth H8451 תורה the law, H1697 ודבר and the word H3069 יהוה   H3389 מירושׁלם׃
