  11 H2398 חטא hath sinned, H3478 ישׂראל Israel H1571 וגם and they have also H5674 עברו transgressed H853 את   H1285 בריתי my covenant H834 אשׁר which H6680 צויתי I commanded H853 אותם   H1571 וגם them: for they have even H3947 לקחו taken H4480 מן of H2764 החרם the accursed thing, H1571 וגם and have also H1589 גנבו stolen, H1571 וגם also, H3584 כחשׁו and dissembled H1571 וגם even H7760 שׂמו and they have put H3627 בכליהם׃ among their own stuff.

  16 H7925 וישׁכם rose up early H3091 יהושׁע So Joshua H1242 בבקר in the morning, H7126 ויקרב and brought H853 את   H3478 ישׂראל Israel H7626 לשׁבטיו by their tribes; H3920 וילכד was taken: H7626 שׁבט and the tribe H3063 יהודה׃ of Judah

  17 H7126 ויקרב And he brought H853 את   H4940 משׁפחת the family H3063 יהודה of Judah; H3920 וילכד and he took H853 את   H4940 משׁפחת the family H2227 הזרחי of the Zarhites: H7126 ויקרב and he brought H853 את   H4940 משׁפחת the family H2227 הזרחי of the Zarhites H1397 לגברים man by man; H3920 וילכד was taken: H2067 זבדי׃ and Zabdi

  20 H6030 ויען answered H5912 עכן And Achan H853 את   H3091 יהושׁע Joshua, H559 ויאמר and said, H546 אמנה Indeed H595 אנכי I H2398 חטאתי have sinned H3068 ליהוה against the LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H2063 וכזאת and thus H2063 וכזאת and thus H6213 עשׂיתי׃ have I done:

  21 H7200 ואראה When I saw H7998 בשׁלל among the spoils H155 אדרת garment, H8152 שׁנער Babylonish H259 אחת a H2896 טובה goodly H3967 ומאתים and two hundred H8255 שׁקלים shekels H3701 כסף of silver, H3956 ולשׁון wedge H2091 זהב of gold H259 אחד and a H2572 חמשׁים of fifty H8255 שׁקלים shekels H4948 משׁקלו weight, H2530 ואחמדם then I coveted H3947 ואקחם them, and took H2009 והנם them; and, behold, H2934 טמונים they hid H776 בארץ in the earth H8432 בתוך in the midst H168 האהלי of my tent, H3701 והכסף and the silver H8478 תחתיה׃ under

  23 H3947 ויקחום And they took H8432 מתוך them out of the midst H168 האהל of the tent, H935 ויבאום and brought H413 אל them unto H3091 יהושׁע Joshua, H413 ואל and unto H3605 כל all H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H3332 ויצקם and laid them out H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

  24 H3947 ויקח him, took H3091 יהושׁע And Joshua, H853 את   H5912 עכן Achan H1121 בן the son H2226 זרח of Zerah, H853 ואת   H3701 הכסף and the silver, H853 ואת   H155 האדרת and the garment, H853 ואת   H3956 לשׁון and the wedge H2091 הזהב of gold, H853 ואת   H1121 בניו and his sons, H853 ואת   H1323 בנתיו and his daughters, H853 ואת   H7794 שׁורו and his oxen, H853 ואת   H2543 חמרו and his asses, H853 ואת   H6629 צאנו and his sheep, H853 ואת   H168 אהלו and his tent, H853 ואת   H3605 כל and all H834 אשׁר that H3605 לו וכל and all H3478 ישׂראל Israel H5973 עמו with H5927 ויעלו he had: and they brought H853 אתם   H6010 עמק them unto the valley H5911 עכור׃ of Achor.

  25 H559 ויאמר said, H3091 יהושׁע And Joshua H4100 מה Why H5916 עכרתנו hast thou troubled H5916 יעכרך shall trouble H3068 יהוה us? the LORD H3117 ביום day. H2088 הזה thee this H7275 וירגמו after they had stoned H853 אתו   H3605 כל And all H3478 ישׂראל Israel H68 אבן him with stones, H8313 וישׂרפו and burned H853 אתם   H784 באשׁ them with fire, H5619 ויסקלו stoned H853 אתם   H68 באבנים׃ them with stones.

  26 H6965 ויקימו And they raised H5921 עליו over H1530 גל heap H68 אבנים of stones H1419 גדול him a great H5704 עד unto H3117 היום day. H2088 הזה this H7725 וישׁב turned H3068 יהוה So the LORD H2740 מחרון from the fierceness H639 אפו of his anger.   17 H1961 והיתה shall be H5892 העיר And the city H2764 חרם accursed, H1931 היא it, H3605 וכל and all H834 אשׁר that H3068 בה ליהוה therein, to the LORD: H7535 רק only H7343 רחב Rahab H2181 הזונה the harlot H2421 תחיה shall live, H1931 היא she H3605 וכל and all H834 אשׁר that H854 אתה with H1004 בבית her in the house, H3588 כי because H2244 החבאתה she hid H853 את   H4397 המלאכים the messengers H834 אשׁר that H7971 שׁלחנו׃ we sent.

  18 H7535 ורק   H859 אתם And ye, H8104 שׁמרו keep H4480 מן from H2764 החרם the accursed thing, H6435 פן lest H2763 תחרימו ye make accursed, H3947 ולקחתם when ye take H4480 מן of H2764 החרם the accursed thing, H7760 ושׂמתם and make H853 את   H4264 מחנה the camp H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H2764 לחרם a curse, H5916 ועכרתם and trouble H853 אותו׃  

  20 H6030 ויען answered H5912 עכן And Achan H853 את   H3091 יהושׁע Joshua, H559 ויאמר and said, H546 אמנה Indeed H595 אנכי I H2398 חטאתי have sinned H3068 ליהוה against the LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H2063 וכזאת and thus H2063 וכזאת and thus H6213 עשׂיתי׃ have I done:

  18 H859 ואתם But that ye H7725 תשׁבו must turn away H3117 היום this day H310 מאחרי from following H3068 יהוה the LORD? H1961 והיה and it will be, H859 אתם ye H4775 תמרדו rebel H3117 היום today H3068 ביהוה against the LORD, H4279 ומחר that tomorrow H413 אל with H3605 כל the whole H5712 עדת congregation H3478 ישׂראל of Israel. H7107 יקצף׃ he will be wroth

  20 H3808 הלוא Did not H5912 עכן Achan H1121 בן the son H2226 זרח of Zerah H4603 מעל commit H4604 מעל a trespass H2764 בחרם in the accursed thing, H5921 ועל on H3605 כל all H5712 עדת the congregation H3478 ישׂראל of Israel? H1961 היה fell H7110 קצף and wrath H1931 והוא and that H376 אישׁ man H259 אחד alone H3808 לא not H1478 גוע perished H5771 בעונו׃ in his iniquity.

  1 H3254 ויסף And again H639 אף the anger H3068 יהוה of the LORD H2734 לחרות was kindled H3478 בישׂראל against Israel, H5496 ויסת and he moved H853 את   H1732 דוד David H559 בהם לאמר against them to say, H1980 לך Go, H4487 מנה number H853 את   H3478 ישׂראל Israel H853 ואת   H3063 יהודה׃ and Judah.

  6 H1121 ובני And the sons H2226 זרח of Zerah; H2174 זמרי Zimri, H387 ואיתן and Ethan, H1968 והימן and Heman, H3633 וכלכל and Calcol, H1873 ודרע and Dara: H3605 כלם of them in all. H2568 חמשׁה׃ five

  7 H1121 ובני And the sons H3756 כרמי of Carmi; H5917 עכר Achar, H5916 עוכר the troubler H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H834 אשׁר who H4603 מעל transgressed H2764 בחרם׃ in the thing accursed.

  7 H7489 וירע   H5869 בעיני was displeased H430 האלהים And God H5921 על with H1697 הדבר thing; H2088 הזה this H5221 ויך therefore he smote H853 את   H3478 ישׂראל׃ Israel.

  6 H559 ואמרה And said, H430 אלהי O my God, H954 בשׁתי I am ashamed H3637 ונכלמתי and blush H7311 להרים to lift up H430 אלהי thee, my God: H6440 פני my face H413 אליך to H3588 כי for H5771 עונתינו our iniquities H7235 רבו are increased H4605 למעלה over H7218 ראשׁ head, H819 ואשׁמתנו and our trespass H1431 גדלה is grown up H5704 עד unto H8064 לשׁמים׃ the heavens.

  7 H559 ויאמרו And they said H376 אישׁ every one H413 אל to H7453 רעהו his fellow, H1980 לכו Come, H5307 ונפילה and let us cast H1486 גורלות lots, H3045 ונדעה that we may know H7945 בשׁלמי for whose cause H7451 הרעה evil H2063 הזאת this H5307 לנו ויפלו upon us. So they cast H1486 גורלות lots, H5307 ויפל fell H1486 הגורל and the lot H5921 על upon H3124 יונה׃ Jonah.

  8 H6275 ויעתק And he removed H8033 משׁם from thence H2022 ההרה unto a mountain H6924 מקדם on the east H1008 לבית אל of Bethel, H5186 ויט and pitched H168 אהלה his tent, H1008 בית אל Bethel H3220 מים on the west, H5857 והעי and Hai H6924 מקדם on the east: H1129 ויבן he built H8033 שׁם and there H4196 מזבח an altar H3068 ליהוה unto the LORD, H7121 ויקרא and called H8034 בשׁם upon the name H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD.

  31 H1121 ובני The children H1144 בנימן also of Benjamin H1387 מגבע   H4363 מכמשׂ at Michmash, H5857 ועיה and Aija, H1008 ובית אל and Bethel, H1323 ובנתיה׃ and their villages,

  18 H4284 מחשׁבות purpose H6098 בעצה by counsel: H3559 תכון is established H8458 ובתחבלות and with good advice H6213 עשׂה make H4421 מלחמה׃ war.

  6 H3588 כי For H8458 בתחבלות by wise counsel H6213 תעשׂה thou shalt make H4421 לך מלחמה thy war: H8668 ותשׁועה safety. H7230 ברב and in multitude H3289 יועץ׃ of counselors

H3069 יהוה׃  

  4 H183 מתאוה desireth, H369 ואין and nothing: H5315 נפשׁו The soul H6102 עצל of the sluggard H5315 ונפשׁ but the soul H2742 חרצים of the diligent H1878 תדשׁן׃ shall be made fat.

  25 H8378 תאות The desire H6102 עצל of the slothful H4191 תמיתנו killeth H3588 כי him; for H3985 מאנו refuse H3027 ידיו his hands H6213 לעשׂות׃ to labor.

  17 H5414 ונתתי And I will set H6440 פני my face H5062 בכם ונגפתם against you, and ye shall be slain H6440 לפני before H341 איביכם your enemies: H7287 ורדו you shall reign H8130 בכם שׂנאיכם they that hate H5127 ונסתם over you; and ye shall flee H369 ואין when none H7291 רדף pursueth H853 אתכם׃  

  25 H5414 יתנך shall cause H3068 יהוה The LORD H5062 נגף thee to be smitten H6440 לפני before H341 איביך thine enemies: H1870 בדרך way H259 אחד one H3318 תצא thou shalt go out H413 אליו against H7651 ובשׁבעה seven H1870 דרכים ways H5127 תנוס them, and flee H6440 לפניו before H1961 והיית them: and shalt be H2189 לזעוה removed H3605 לכל into all H4467 ממלכות the kingdoms H776 הארץ׃ of the earth.

  30 H349 איכה How H7291 ירדף chase H259 אחד should one H505 אלף a thousand, H8147 ושׁנים and two H5127 יניסו put H7233 רבבה ten thousand H518 אם except H3808 לא   H3588 כי   H6697 צורם their Rock H4376 מכרם had sold H3068 ויהוה them, and the LORD H5462 הסגירם׃ had shut them up?

  17 H505 אלף thousand H259 אחד One H6440 מפני at H1606 גערת the rebuke H259 אחד of one; H6440 מפני at H1606 גערת the rebuke H2568 חמשׁה of five H5127 תנסו shall ye flee: H5704 עד till H518 אם till H3498 נותרתם ye be left H8650 כתרן as a beacon H5921 על upon H7218 ראשׁ the top H2022 ההר of a mountain, H5251 וכנס and as an ensign H5921 על on H1389 הגבעה׃ a hill.

  9 H559 ותאמר And she said H413 אל unto H376 האנשׁים the men, H3045 ידעתי I know H3588 כי that H5414 נתן hath given H3068 יהוה the LORD H853 לכם את   H776 הארץ you the land, H3588 וכי and that H5307 נפלה is fallen H367 אימתכם your terror H5921 עלינו upon H3588 וכי us, and that H4127 נמגו faint H3605 כל all H3427 ישׁבי the inhabitants H776 הארץ of the land H6440 מפניכם׃ because of

  14 H4325 כמים like water, H8210 נשׁפכתי I am poured out H6504 והתפרדו are out of joint: H3605 כל and all H6106 עצמותי my bones H1961 היה is H3820 לבי my heart H1749 כדונג like wax; H4549 נמס it is melted H8432 בתוך in the midst H4578 מעי׃ of my bowels.

  7 H5921 על   H3651 כן   H3605 כל shall all H3027 ידים hands H7503 תרפינה be faint, H3605 וכל and every H3824 לבב heart H582 אנושׁ man's H4549 ימס׃ shall melt:

  7 H1961 והיה And it shall be, H3588 כי when H559 יאמרו they say H413 אליך unto H5921 על   H4100 מה   H859 אתה thou? H584 נאנח sighest H559 ואמרת that thou shalt answer, H413 אל For H8052 שׁמועה the tidings; H3588 כי because H935 באה it cometh: H4549 ונמס shall melt, H3605 כל and every H3820 לב heart H7503 ורפו shall be feeble, H3605 כל and all H3027 ידים hands H3543 וכהתה shall faint, H3605 כל and every H7307 רוח spirit H3605 וכל and all H1290 ברכים knees H1980 תלכנה shall be weak H4325 מים water: H2009 הנה behold, H935 באה it cometh, H1961 ונהיתה and shall be brought to pass, H5002 נאם saith H136 אדני the Lord H3069 יהוה׃ GOD.

  10 H950 בוקה She is empty, H4003 ומבוקה and void, H1110 ומבלקה and waste: H3820 ולב and the heart H4549 נמס melteth, H6375 ופק smite together, H1290 ברכים and the knees H2479 וחלחלה and much pain H3605 בכל in all H4975 מתנים loins, H6440 ופני and the faces H3605 כלם of them all H6908 קבצו gather H6289 פארור׃ blackness.

  29 H7725 וישׁב returned H7205 ראובן And Reuben H413 אל unto H953 הבור the pit; H2009 והנה and, behold, H369 אין not H3130 יוסף Joseph H953 בבור in the pit; H7167 ויקרע and he rent H853 את   H899 בגדיו׃ his clothes.

  34 H7167 ויקרע rent H3290 יעקב And Jacob H8071 שׂמלתיו his clothes, H7760 וישׂם and put H8242 שׂק sackcloth H4975 במתניו upon his loins, H56 ויתאבל and mourned H5921 על for H1121 בנו his son H3117 ימים days. H7227 רבים׃ many

  6 H3091 ויהושׁע And Joshua H1121 בן the son H5126 נון of Nun, H3612 וכלב and Caleb H1121 בן the son H3312 יפנה of Jephunneh, H4480 מן of H8446 התרים them that searched H853 את   H776 הארץ the land, H7167 קרעו rent H899 בגדיהם׃ their clothes:

  22 H5307 ויפלו And they fell H5921 על upon H6440 פניהם their faces, H559 ויאמרו and said, H410 אל O God, H430 אלהי the God H7307 הרוחת of the spirits H3605 לכל of all H1320 בשׂר flesh, H376 האישׁ man H259 אחד shall one H2398 יחטא sin, H5921 ועל with H3605 כל all H5712 העדה the congregation? H7107 תקצף׃ and wilt thou be wroth

  45 H7426 הרמו Get you up H8432 מתוך from among H5712 העדה congregation, H2063 הזאת this H3615 ואכלה that I may consume H853 אתם   H7281 כרגע them as in a moment. H5307 ויפלו And they fell H5921 על upon H6440 פניהם׃ their faces.

  23 H5927 ויעלו went up H1121 בני (And the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H1058 ויבכו and wept H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה the LORD H5704 עד until H6153 הערב even, H7592 וישׁאלו and asked counsel H3068 ביהוה of the LORD, H559 לאמר saying, H3254 האוסיף again H5066 לגשׁת Shall I go up H4421 למלחמה to battle H5973 עם against H1121 בני the children H1144 בנימן of Benjamin H251 אחי my brother? H559 ויאמר said, H3068 יהוה And the LORD H5927 עלו Go up H413 אליו׃ against

  26 H5927 ויעלו went up, H3605 כל Then all H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H3605 וכל and all H5971 העם the people, H935 ויבאו and came H1008 בית אל unto the house of God, H1058 ויבכו and wept, H3427 וישׁבו and sat H8033 שׁם there H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה the LORD, H6684 ויצומו and fasted H3117 ביום day H1931 ההוא that H5704 עד until H6153 הערב even, H5927 ויעלו and offered H5930 עלות burnt offerings H8002 ושׁלמים and peace offerings H6440 לפני before H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

  2 H935 ויבא came H5971 העם And the people H1008 בית אל to the house of God, H3427 וישׁבו and abode H8033 שׁם there H5704 עד till H6153 הערב even H6440 לפני before H430 האלהים God, H5375 וישׂאו and lifted up H6963 קולם their voices, H1058 ויבכו and wept H1065 בכי sore; H1419 גדול׃ sore;

  12 H7323 וירץ And there ran H376 אישׁ a man H1144 בנימן of Benjamin H4634 מהמערכה out of the army, H935 ויבא and came H7887 שׁלה to Shiloh H3117 ביום day H1931 ההוא the same H4055 ומדיו with his clothes H7167 קרעים rent, H127 ואדמה and with earth H5921 על upon H7218 ראשׁו׃ his head.

  12 H5594 ויספדו And they mourned, H1058 ויבכו and wept, H6684 ויצמו and fasted H5704 עד until H6153 הערב even, H5921 על for H7586 שׁאול Saul, H5921 ועל and for H3083 יהונתן Jonathan H1121 בנו his son, H5921 ועל and for H5971 עם the people H3069 יהוה   H5921 ועל and for H1004 בית the house H3478 ישׂראל of Israel; H3588 כי because H5307 נפלו they were fallen H2719 בחרב׃ by the sword.

  16 H1245 ויבקשׁ therefore besought H1732 דוד David H853 את   H430 האלהים God H1157 בעד for H5288 הנער the child; H6684 ויצם fasted, H1732 דוד and David H6685 צום fasted, H935 ובא and went H3885 ולן night H7901 ושׁכב in, and lay H776 ארצה׃ upon the earth.

  31 H6965 ויקם arose, H4428 המלך Then the king H7167 ויקרע and tore H853 את   H899 בגדיו his garments, H7901 וישׁכב and lay H776 ארצה on the earth; H3605 וכל and all H5650 עבדיו his servants H5324 נצבים stood by H7167 קרעי rent. H899 בגדים׃ with their clothes

  3 H8085 וכשׁמעי And when I heard H853 את   H1697 הדבר thing, H2088 הזה this H7167 קרעתי I rent H853 את   H899 בגדי my garment H4598 ומעילי and my mantle, H4803 ואמרטה and plucked off H8181 משׂער the hair H7218 ראשׁי of my head H2206 וזקני and of my beard, H3427 ואשׁבה and sat down H8074 משׁומם׃ astonished.

  4 H413 ואלי unto H622 יאספו Then were assembled H3605 כל me every one H2730 חרד that trembled H1697 בדברי at the words H430 אלהי of the God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H5921 על because H4604 מעל of the transgression H1473 הגולה of those that had been carried away; H589 ואני and I H3427 ישׁב sat H8074 משׁומם astonished H5704 עד until H4503 למנחת sacrifice.   20 H6965 ויקם arose, H347 איוב Then Job H7167 ויקרע and rent H853 את   H4598 מעלו his mantle, H1494 ויגז and shaved H853 את   H7218 ראשׁו his head, H5307 ויפל and fell down H776 ארצה upon the ground, H7812 וישׁתחו׃ and worshiped,

  12 H5375 וישׂאו And when they lifted up H853 את   H5869 עיניהם their eyes H7350 מרחוק afar off, H3808 ולא him not, H5234 הכירהו and knew H5375 וישׂאו they lifted up H6963 קולם their voice, H1058 ויבכו and wept; H7167 ויקרעו and they rent H376 אישׁ every one H4598 מעלו his mantle, H2236 ויזרקו and sprinkled H6083 עפר dust H5921 על upon H7218 ראשׁיהם their heads H8064 השׁמימה׃ toward heaven.

  10 H3427 ישׁבו sit H776 לארץ upon the ground, H1826 ידמו keep silence: H2205 זקני The elders H1323 בת of the daughter H6726 ציון of Zion H5927 העלו they have cast up H6083 עפר dust H5921 על upon H7218 ראשׁם their heads; H2296 חגרו they have girded H8242 שׂקים themselves with sackcloth: H3381 הורידו hang down H776 לארץ to the ground. H7218 ראשׁן their heads H1330 בתולת the virgins H3389 ירושׁלם׃ of Jerusalem

  22 H7725 וישׁב returned H4872 משׁה And Moses H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD, H559 ויאמר and said, H136 אדני Lord, H4100 למה wherefore H7489 הרעתה hast thou evil entreated H5971 לעם people? H2088 הזה this H4100 למה why H2088 זה it H7971 שׁלחתני׃ thou hast sent

  23 H227 ומאז   H935 באתי I came H413 אל to H6547 פרעה Pharaoh H1696 לדבר to speak H8034 בשׁמך in thy name, H7489 הרע he hath done evil H5971 לעם people; H2088 הזה to this H5337 והצל hast thou delivered H3808 לא neither H5337 הצלת at all. H853 את   H5971 עמך׃ thy people
