  19 H3808 לא He shall neither H5209 נין have son H3808 לו ולא nor H5220 נכד nephew H5971 בעמו among his people, H369 ואין nor H8300 שׂריד any remaining H4033 במגוריו׃ in his dwellings.

  14 H518 אם If H7235 ירבו be multiplied, H1121 בניו his children H3926 למו for H2719 חרב the sword: H6631 וצאצאיו and his offspring H3808 לא shall not H7646 ישׂבעו be satisfied H3899 לחם׃ with bread.

  5 H3588 כי For H1992 הם they H4735 ומקניהם with their cattle H5927 יעלו came up H168 ואהליהם and their tents, H935 יבאו and they came H1767 כדי   H697 ארבה grasshoppers H7230 לרב for multitude; H1581 ולהם ולגמליהם and their camels H369 אין were without H4557 מספר number: H935 ויבאו and they entered H776 בארץ into the land H7843 לשׁחתה׃ to destroy

  6 H1809 וידל impoverished H3478 ישׂראל And Israel H3966 מאד was greatly H6440 מפני because H4080 מדין of the Midianites; H2199 ויזעקו cried H1121 בני and the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

  6 H7951 ישׁליו prosper, H168 אהלים The tabernacles H7703 לשׁדדים of robbers H987 ובטחות are secure; H7264 למרגיזי and they that provoke H410 אל God H834 לאשׁר into whose H935 הביא bringeth H433 אלוה God H3027 בידו׃ hand

  8 H3588 כי For H7971 שׁלח he is cast H7568 ברשׁת into a net H7272 ברגליו by his own feet, H5921 ועל upon H7639 שׂבכה a snare. H1980 יתהלך׃ and he walketh

  9 H270 יאחז shall take H6119 בעקב by the heel, H6341 פח The gin H2388 יחזק shall prevail H5921 עליו against H6782 צמים׃ the robber

  10 H2934 טמון laid H776 בארץ for him in the ground, H2256 חבלו The snare H4434 ומלכדתו and a trap H5921 עלי for him in H5410 נתיב׃ the way.

  15 H2428 חיל riches, H1104 בלע He hath swallowed down H6958 ויקאנו and he shall vomit them up again: H990 מבטנו his belly. H3423 יורשׁנו shall cast them out H410 אל׃ God

  8 H7650 נשׁבע hath sworn H3068 יהוה The LORD H3225 בימינו by his right hand, H2220 ובזרוע and by the arm H5797 עזו of his strength, H518 אם Surely I will no H5414 אתן give H853 את   H1715 דגנך thy corn H5750 עוד more H3978 מאכל meat H341 לאיביך for thine enemies; H518 ואם shall not H8354 ישׁתו drink H1121 בני and the sons H5236 נכר of the stranger H8492 תירושׁך thy wine, H834 אשׁר for the which H3021 יגעת׃ thou hast labored:

  34 H398 אכלנו hath devoured H2000 הממנו me, he hath crushed H5019 נבוכדראצר Nebuchadnezzar H4428 מלך the king H894 בבל of Babylon H3322 הציגנו me, he hath made H3627 כלי vessel, H7385 ריק me an empty H1104 בלענו he hath swallowed me up H8577 כתנין like a dragon, H4390 מלא he hath filled H3770 כרשׂו his belly H5730 מעדני with my delicacies, H1740 הדיחנו׃ he hath cast me out.

  44 H6485 ופקדתי   H5921 על   H1078 בל Bel H894 בבבל in Babylon, H3318 והצאתי and I will bring forth H853 את   H1105 בלעו that which he hath swallowed up: H6310 מפיו out of his mouth H3808 ולא shall not H5102 ינהרו flow together H413 אליו unto H5750 עוד any more H1471 גוים and the nations H1571 גם him: yea, H2346 חומת the wall H894 בבל of Babylon H5307 נפלה׃ shall fall.

  5 H1961 היה was H136 אדני The Lord H341 כאויב as an enemy: H1104 בלע he hath swallowed up H3478 ישׂראל Israel, H1104 בלע he hath swallowed up H3605 כל all H759 ארמנותיה her palaces: H7843 שׁחת he hath destroyed H4013 מבצריו his strongholds, H7235 וירב and hath increased H1323 בבת in the daughter H3063 יהודה of Judah H8386 תאניה mourning H592 ואניה׃ and lamentation.

  16 H6475 פצו have opened H5921 עליך against H6310 פיהם their mouth H3605 כל All H341 אויביך thine enemies H8319 שׁרקו thee: they hiss H2786 ויחרקו and gnash H8127 שׁן the teeth: H559 אמרו they say, H1104 בלענו We have swallowed up: H389 אך certainly H2088 זה this H3117 היום the day H6960 שׁקוינהו that we looked for; H4672 מצאנו we have found, H7200 ראינו׃ we have seen

  7 H3588 כי For H7307 רוח the wind, H2232 יזרעו they have sown H5492 וסופתה the whirlwind: H7114 יקצרו and they shall reap H7054 קמה stalk: H369 אין it hath no H6780 לו צמח the bud H1097 בלי no H6213 יעשׂה shall yield H7058 קמח meal: H194 אולי if so be H6213 יעשׂה it yield, H2114 זרים the strangers H1104 יבלעהו׃ shall swallow it up.

  27 H3884 לולי Were it not that H3708 כעס the wrath H341 אויב of the enemy, H1481 אגור I feared H6435 פן lest H5234 ינכרו should behave themselves strangely, H6862 צרימו their adversaries H6435 פן lest H559 יאמרו they should say, H3027 ידנו Our hand H7311 רמה high, H3808 ולא hath not H3068 יהוה and the LORD H6466 פעל done H3605 כל all H2063 זאת׃ this.

  9 H7200 וראיתם And see, H518 אם if H1870 דרך by the way H1366 גבולו of his own coast H5927 יעלה it goeth up H1053 בית שׁמשׁ to Beth-shemesh, H1931 הוא he H6213 עשׂה hath done H853 לנו את   H7451 הרעה evil: H1419 הגדולה great H2063 הזאת us this H518 ואם but if H3808 לא not, H3045 וידענו then we shall know H3588 כי that H3808 לא not H3027 ידו his hand H5060 נגעה smote H4745 בנו מקרה a chance H1931 הוא us: it H1961 היה׃ happened

  29 H1931 והוא When he H8252 ישׁקט giveth quietness, H4310 ומי who H7561 ירשׁע then can make trouble? H5641 ויסתר and when he hideth H6440 פנים face, H4310 ומי who H7789 ישׁורנו then can behold H5921 ועל him? whether against H1471 גוי a nation, H5921 ועל or against H120 אדם a man H3162 יחד׃ only:

  7 H3588 כי For H3615 כלינו we are consumed H639 באפך by thine anger, H2534 ובחמתך and by thy wrath H926 נבהלנו׃ are we troubled.

  7 H3335 יוצר I form H216 אור the light, H1254 ובורא and create H2822 חשׁך darkness: H6213 עשׂה I make H7965 שׁלום peace, H1254 ובורא and create H7451 רע evil: H589 אני I H3068 יהוה the LORD H6213 עשׂה do H3605 כל all H428 אלה׃ these

  38 H6310 מפי   H5945 עליון of the most High H3808 לא not H3318 תצא proceedeth H7451 הרעות evil H2896 והטוב׃ and good?

  4 H1696 דברו They have spoken H1697 דברים words, H422 אלות swearing H7723 שׁוא falsely H3772 כרת in making H1285 ברית a covenant: H6524 ופרח springeth up H7219 כראשׁ as hemlock H4941 משׁפט thus judgment H5921 על in H8525 תלמי the furrows H7704 שׂדי׃ of the field.

  6 H518 אם   H8628 יתקע be blown H7782 שׁופר Shall a trumpet H5892 בעיר in the city, H5971 ועם and the people H3808 לא not H2729 יחרדו be afraid? H518 אם   H1961 תהיה shall there be H7451 רעה evil H5892 בעיר in a city, H3068 ויהוה and the LORD H3808 לא hath not H6213 עשׂה׃ done

  17 H121 ולאדם And unto Adam H559 אמר he said, H3588 כי Because H8085 שׁמעת thou hast hearkened H6963 לקול unto the voice H802 אשׁתך of thy wife, H398 ותאכל and hast eaten H4480 מן of H6086 העץ the tree, H834 אשׁר of which H6680 צויתיך I commanded H559 לאמר thee, saying, H3808 לא Thou shalt not H398 תאכל eat H4480 ממנו of H779 ארורה it: cursed H127 האדמה the ground H5668 בעבורך for thy sake; H6093 בעצבון in sorrow H398 תאכלנה shalt thou eat H3605 כל it all H3117 ימי the days H2416 חייך׃ of thy life;

  18 H6975 וקוץ Thorns H1863 ודרדר also and thistles H6779 תצמיח shall it bring forth H398 לך ואכלת to thee; and thou shalt eat H853 את   H6212 עשׂב the herb H7704 השׂדה׃ of the field;
