  4 H1115 בלתי Without H3766 כרע me they shall bow down H8478 תחת under H616 אסיר the prisoners, H8478 ותחת under H2026 הרוגים the slain. H5307 יפלו and they shall fall H3605 בכל For all H2063 זאת this H3808 לא is not H7725 שׁב turned away, H639 אפו his anger H5750 ועוד still. H3027 ידו but his hand H5186 נטויה׃ stretched out

  5 H1945 הוי   H804 אשׁור O Assyrian, H7626 שׁבט the rod H639 אפי of mine anger, H4294 ומטה and the staff H1931 הוא   H3027 בידם in their hand H2195 זעמי׃ is mine indignation.

  6 H1471 בגוי nation, H2611 חנף him against a hypocritical H7971 אשׁלחנו I will send H5921 ועל and against H5971 עם the people H5678 עברתי of my wrath H6680 אצונו will I give him a charge, H7997 לשׁלל to take H7998 שׁלל the spoil, H962 ולבז and to take H957 בז the prey, H7760 ולשׂימו   H4823 מרמס and to tread them down H2563 כחמר like the mire H2351 חוצות׃ of the streets.

  7 H1931 והוא Howbeit he H3808 לא not H3651 כן so, H1819 ידמה meaneth H3824 ולבבו doth his heart H3808 לא neither H3651 כן so; H2803 יחשׁב think H3588 כי but H8045 להשׁמיד to destroy H3824 בלבבו in his heart H3772 ולהכרית and cut off H1471 גוים nations H3808 לא not H4592 מעט׃ a few.

  10 H834 כאשׁר As H4672 מצאה hath found H3027 ידי my hand H4467 לממלכת the kingdoms H457 האליל of the idols, H6456 ופסיליהם and whose graven images H3389 מירושׁלם   H8111 ומשׁמרון׃  

  11 H3808 הלא Shall I not, H834 כאשׁר as H6213 עשׂיתי I have done H8111 לשׁמרון unto Samaria H457 ולאליליה and her idols, H3651 כן so H6213 אעשׂה do H3389 לירושׁלם to Jerusalem H6091 ולעצביה׃ and her idols?

  12 H1961 והיה Wherefore it shall come to pass, H3588 כי when H1214 יבצע hath performed H136 אדני the Lord H853 את   H3605 כל his whole H4639 מעשׂהו work H2022 בהר upon mount H6726 ציון Zion H3389 ובירושׁלם and on Jerusalem, H6485 אפקד   H5921 על and H6529 פרי the fruit H1433 גדל of the stout H3824 לבב heart H4428 מלך of the king H804 אשׁור of Assyria, H5921 ועל   H8597 תפארת the glory H7312 רום of his high H5869 עיניו׃ looks.

  13 H3588 כי For H559 אמר he saith, H3581 בכח By the strength H3027 ידי of my hand H6213 עשׂיתי I have done H2451 ובחכמתי and by my wisdom; H3588 כי for H995 נבנותי I am prudent: H5493 ואסיר and I have removed H1367 גבולת the bounds H5971 עמים of the people, H6264 ועתידתיהם   H8154 שׁושׂתי and have robbed H3381 ואוריד and I have put down H47 כאביר like a valiant H3427 יושׁבים׃ the inhabitants

  14 H4672 ותמצא hath found H7064 כקן as a nest H3027 ידי And my hand H2428 לחיל the riches H5971 העמים of the people: H622 וכאסף and as one gathereth H1000 ביצים eggs H5800 עזבות left, H3605 כל all H776 הארץ the earth; H589 אני have I H622 אספתי gathered H3808 ולא none H1961 היה and there was H5074 נדד that moved H3671 כנף the wing, H6475 ופצה or opened H6310 פה the mouth, H6850 ומצפצף׃ or peeped.

  15 H6286 היתפאר boast itself H1631 הגרזן Shall the axe H5921 על against H2672 החצב him that heweth H518 בו אם   H1431 יתגדל magnify itself H4883 המשׂור therewith? shall the saw H5921 על against H5130 מניפו him that shaketh H5130 כהניף should shake against H7626 שׁבט it? as if the rod H853 ואת   H7311 מרימיו them that lift it up, H7311 כהרים should lift up H4294 מטה as if the staff H3808 לא no H6086 עץ׃ wood.

  16 H3651 לכן Therefore H7971 ישׁלח send H113 האדון shall the Lord, H3068 יהוה the Lord H6635 צבאות of hosts, H4924 במשׁמניו among his fat ones H7332 רזון leanness; H8478 ותחת and under H3519 כבדו his glory H3344 יקד he shall kindle H3350 יקד a burning H3350 כיקוד like the burning H784 אשׁ׃ of a fire.

  17 H1961 והיה shall be H216 אור And the light H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H784 לאשׁ for a fire, H6918 וקדושׁו and his Holy One H3852 ללהבה for a flame: H1197 ובערה and it shall burn H398 ואכלה and devour H7898 שׁיתו his thorns H8068 ושׁמירו and his briers H3117 ביום day; H259 אחד׃ in one

  18 H3519 וכבוד the glory H3293 יערו of his forest, H3759 וכרמלו and of his fruitful field, H5315 מנפשׁ both soul H5704 ועד   H1320 בשׂר and body: H3615 יכלה And shall consume H1961 והיה and they shall be H4549 כמסס fainteth. H5264 נסס׃  

  19 H7605 ושׁאר And the rest H6086 עץ of the trees H3293 יערו of his forest H4557 מספר few, H1961 יהיו shall be H5288 ונער that a child H3789 יכתבם׃ may write

  20 H1961 והיה And it shall come to pass H3117 ביום day, H1931 ההוא in that H3808 לא shall no H3254 יוסיף again H5750 עוד more H7605 שׁאר the remnant H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H6413 ופליטת and such as are escaped H1004 בית of the house H3290 יעקב of Jacob, H8172 להשׁען stay H5921 על upon H5221 מכהו him that smote H8172 ונשׁען them; but shall stay H5921 על upon H3068 יהוה the LORD, H6918 קדושׁ the Holy One H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H571 באמת׃ in truth.

  21 H7605 שׁאר The remnant H7725 ישׁוב shall return, H7605 שׁאר the remnant H3290 יעקב of Jacob, H413 אל unto H410 אל God. H1368 גבור׃ the mighty

  22 H3588 כי For H518 אם though H1961 יהיה be H5971 עמך thy people H3478 ישׂראל Israel H2344 כחול as the sand H3220 הים of the sea, H7605 שׁאר a remnant H7725 ישׁוב of them shall return: H3631 בו כליון the consumption H2782 חרוץ decreed H7857 שׁוטף shall overflow H6666 צדקה׃ with righteousness.

  23 H3588 כי For H3617 כלה a consumption, H2782 ונחרצה even determined, H136 אדני the Lord H3069 יהוה GOD H6635 צבאות of hosts H6213 עשׂה shall make H7130 בקרב in the midst H3605 כל of all H776 הארץ׃ the land.

  24 H3651 לכן Therefore H3541 כה thus H559 אמר saith H136 אדני the Lord H3068 יהוה   H6635 צבאות of hosts, H408 אל be not H3372 תירא afraid H5971 עמי O my people H3427 ישׁב that dwellest H6726 ציון in Zion, H804 מאשׁור   H7626 בשׁבט thee with a rod, H5221 יככה he shall smite H4294 ומטהו his staff H5375 ישׂא and shall lift up H5921 עליך against H1870 בדרך thee, after the manner H4714 מצרים׃ of Egypt.

  25 H3588 כי For H5750 עוד yet H4592 מעט little H4213 מזער a very H3615 וכלה shall cease, H2195 זעם while, and the indignation H639 ואפי and mine anger H5921 על in H8399 תבליתם׃ their destruction.

  26 H5782 ועורר shall stir up H5921 עליו for H3068 יהוה And the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts H7752 שׁוט a scourge H4347 כמכת him according to the slaughter H4080 מדין of Midian H6697 בצור at the rock H6159 עורב of Oreb: H4294 ומטהו and his rod H5921 על upon H3220 הים the sea, H5375 ונשׂאו so shall he lift it up H1870 בדרך after the manner H4714 מצרים׃ of Egypt.

  27 H1961 והיה And it shall come to pass H3117 ביום day, H1931 ההוא in that H5493 יסור shall be taken away H5448 סבלו his burden H5921 מעל from off H7926 שׁכמך thy shoulder, H5923 ועלו and his yoke H5921 מעל from off H6677 צוארך thy neck, H2254 וחבל shall be destroyed H5923 על and the yoke H6440 מפני because H8081 שׁמן׃ of the anointing.

  28 H935 בא He is come H5921 על to H5857 עית Aiath, H5674 עבר he is passed H4051 במגרון to Migron; H4363 למכמשׂ at Michmash H6485 יפקיד he hath laid up H3627 כליו׃ his carriages:

  29 H5674 עברו They are gone over H4569 מעברה the passage: H1387 גבע at Geba; H4411 מלון they have taken up their lodging H2729 לנו חרדה is afraid; H7414 הרמה Ramah H1390 גבעת Gibeah H7586 שׁאול of Saul H5127 נסה׃ is fled.

  30 H6670 צהלי Lift up H6963 קולך thy voice, H1323 בת O daughter H1554 גלים of Gallim: H7181 הקשׁיבי cause it to be heard H3919 לישׁה unto Laish, H6041 עניה O poor H6068 ענתות׃ Anathoth.

  31 H5074 נדדה is removed; H4088 מדמנה Madmenah H3427 ישׁבי the inhabitants H1374 הגבים of Gebim H5756 העיזו׃ gather themselves to flee.

  32 H5750 עוד As yet H3117 היום that day: H5011 בנב at Nob H5975 לעמד shall he remain H5130 ינפף he shall shake H3027 ידו his hand H2022 הר the mount H1004 בית of the daughter H1323 ציון   H1389 גבעת the hill H3389 ירושׁלם׃ of Jerusalem.

  33 H2009 הנה Behold, H113 האדון the Lord, H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts, H5586 מסעף shall lop H6288 פארה the bough H4637 במערצה with terror: H7311 ורמי   H6967 הקומה of stature H1438 גדועים hewn down, H1364 והגבהים and the haughty H8213 ישׁפלו׃ shall be humbled.

  34 H5362 ונקף And he shall cut down H5442 סבכי the thickets H3293 היער of the forest H1270 בברזל with iron, H3844 והלבנון and Lebanon H117 באדיר by a mighty one. H5307 יפול׃ shall fall

  13 H935 ויבאו And there came in H8147 שׁני two H376 האנשׁים men, H1121 בני children H1100 בליעל of Belial, H3427 וישׁבו and sat H5048 נגדו before H5749 ויעדהו witnessed against H376 אנשׁי him: and the men H1100 הבליעל of Belial H853 את   H5022 נבות him, against Naboth, H5048 נגד in the presence H5971 העם of the people, H559 לאמר saying, H1288 ברך did blaspheme H5022 נבות Naboth H430 אלהים God H4428 ומלך and the king.   11 H188 אוי Woe H7563 לרשׁע unto the wicked! H7451 רע ill H3588 כי for H1576 גמול the reward H3027 ידיו of his hands H6213 יעשׂה׃ shall be given

  20 H1945 הוי Woe H559 האמרים unto them that call H7451 לרע evil H2896 טוב good, H2896 ולטוב and good H7451 רע evil; H7760 שׂמים that put H2822 חשׁך darkness H216 לאור for light, H216 ואור and light H2822 לחשׁך for darkness; H7760 שׂמים that put H4751 מר bitter H4966 למתוק for sweet, H4966 ומתוק and sweet H4751 למר׃ for bitter!

  21 H1945 הוי Woe H2450 חכמים unto wise H5869 בעיניהם in their own eyes, H5048 ונגד in H6440 פניהם their own sight! H995 נבנים׃ and prudent

  22 H1945 הוי Woe H1368 גבורים unto mighty H8354 לשׁתות to drink H3196 יין wine, H582 ואנשׁי   H2428 חיל of strength H4537 למסך to mingle H7941 שׁכר׃ strong drink:

  13 H1945 הוי Woe H1129 בנה unto him that buildeth H1004 ביתו his house H3808 בלא by unrighteousness, H6664 צדק by unrighteousness, H5944 ועליותיו and his chambers H3808 בלא by wrong; H4941 משׁפט by wrong; H7453 ברעהו useth his neighbor's H5647 יעבד service H2600 חנם without wages, H6467 ופעלו for his work; H3808 לא him not H5414 יתן׃ and giveth

  8 H3705 כען Now, H4430 מלכא O king, H6966 תקים establish H633 אסרא the decree, H7560 ותרשׁם and sign H3792 כתבא the writing, H1768 די that H3809 לא it be not H8133 להשׁניה changed, H1882 כדת according to the law H4076 מדי of the Medes H6540 ופרס and Persians, H1768 די which H3809 לא not. H5709 תעדא׃ altereth

  9 H3606 כל   H6903 קבל   H1836 דנה   H4430 מלכא king H1868 דריושׁ Darius H7560 רשׁם signed H3792 כתבא the writing H633 ואסרא׃ and the decree.

  1 H559 ואמר And I said, H8085 שׁמעו Hear, H4994 נא I pray you, H7218 ראשׁי O heads H3290 יעקב of Jacob, H7101 וקציני and ye princes H1004 בית of the house H3478 ישׂראל of Israel; H3808 הלוא not H3045 לכם לדעת for you to know H853 את   H4941 המשׁפט׃ judgment?

  2 H8130 שׂנאי Who hate H2896 טוב the good, H157 ואהבי and love H7451 רעה the evil; H1497 גזלי who pluck off H5785 עורם their skin H5921 מעליהם from off H7607 ושׁארם them, and their flesh H5921 מעל from off H6106 עצמותם׃ their bones;

  3 H834 ואשׁר Who H398 אכלו also eat H7607 שׁאר the flesh H5971 עמי of my people, H5785 ועורם their skin H5921 מעליהם from off H6584 הפשׁיטו and flay H853 ואת   H6106 עצמתיהם their bones, H6476 פצחו them; and they break H6566 ופרשׂו and chop them in pieces, H834 כאשׁר as H5518 בסיר for the pot, H1320 וכבשׂר and as flesh H8432 בתוך within H7037 קלחת׃ the caldron.

  4 H227 אז Then H2199 יזעקו shall they cry H413 אל unto H3068 יהוה the LORD, H3808 ולא but he will not H6030 יענה hear H853 אותם   H5641 ויסתר them: he will even hide H6440 פניו his face H1992 מהם   H6256 בעת time, H1931 ההיא them at that H834 כאשׁר as H7489 הרעו they have behaved themselves ill H4611 מעלליהם׃ in their doings.

  10 H1129 בנה They build up H6726 ציון Zion H1818 בדמים with blood, H3389 וירושׁלם and Jerusalem H5766 בעולה׃ with iniquity.

  11 H7218 ראשׁיה The heads H7810 בשׁחד for reward, H8199 ישׁפטו thereof judge H3548 וכהניה and the priests H4242 במחיר for hire, H3384 יורו thereof teach H5030 ונביאיה and the prophets H3701 בכסף for money: H7080 יקסמו thereof divine H5921 ועל upon H3068 יהוה the LORD, H8172 ישׁענו yet will they lean H559 לאמר and say, H3808 הלוא not H3068 יהוה the LORD H7130 בקרבנו among H3808 לא us? none H935 תבוא can come H5921 עלינו upon H7451 רעה׃ evil

  9 H1945 הוי Woe H1214 בצע to him that coveteth H1215 בצע covetousness H7451 רע an evil H1004 לביתו to his house, H7760 לשׂום that he may set H4791 במרום on high, H7064 קנו his nest H5337 להנצל that he may be delivered H3709 מכף from the power H7451 רע׃ of evil!

  12 H1945 הוי Woe H1129 בנה to him that buildeth H5892 עיר a town H1818 בדמים with blood, H3559 וכונן and establisheth H7151 קריה a city H5766 בעולה׃ by iniquity!

  15 H1945 הוי Woe H8248 משׁקה unto him that giveth his neighbor drink, H7453 רעהו unto him that giveth his neighbor drink, H5596 מספח that puttest H2573 חמתך thy bottle H637 ואף also, H7937 שׁכר to and makest drunken H4616 למען that H5027 הביט thou mayest look H5921 על on H4589 מעוריהם׃ their nakedness!

  19 H1945 הוי Woe H559 אמר unto him that saith H6086 לעץ to the wood, H6974 הקיצה Awake; H5782 עורי Arise, H68 לאבן stone, H1748 דומם to the dumb H1931 הוא it H3384 יורה shall teach!   23 H8269 שׂריך Thy princes H5637 סוררים rebellious, H2270 וחברי and companions H1590 גנבים of thieves: H3605 כלו every one H157 אהב loveth H7810 שׁחד gifts, H7291 ורדף and followeth after H8021 שׁלמנים rewards: H3490 יתום the fatherless, H3808 לא not H8199 ישׁפטו they judge H7379 וריב doth the cause H490 אלמנה of the widow H3808 לא neither H935 יבוא come H413 אליהם׃ unto

  7 H3588 כי For H3754 כרם the vineyard H3068 יהוה of the LORD H6635 צבאות of hosts H1004 בית the house H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H376 ואישׁ and the men H3063 יהודה of Judah H5194 נטע plant: H8191 שׁעשׁועיו his pleasant H6960 ויקו and he looked H4941 למשׁפט for judgment, H2009 והנה but behold H4939 משׂפח oppression; H6666 לצדקה for righteousness, H2009 והנה but behold H6818 צעקה׃ a cry.

  23 H6663 מצדיקי Which justify H7563 רשׁע the wicked H6118 עקב for H7810 שׁחד reward, H6666 וצדקת the righteousness H6662 צדיקים of the righteous H5493 יסירו and take away H4480 ממנו׃ from

  21 H2398 מחטיאי   H120 אדם   H1697 בדבר for a word, H3198 ולמוכיח for him that reproveth H8179 בשׁער in the gate, H6983 יקשׁון and lay a snare H5186 ויטו and turn aside H8414 בתהו for a thing of naught. H6662 צדיק׃ the just

  6 H1616 גר the stranger, H3490 יתום the fatherless, H490 ואלמנה and the widow, H3808 לא not H6231 תעשׁקו ye oppress H1818 ודם blood H5355 נקי innocent H408 אל not H8210 תשׁפכו and shed H4725 במקום place, H2088 הזה in this H310 ואחרי after H430 אלהים gods H312 אחרים other H3808 לא neither H1980 תלכו walk H7451 לרע׃ to your hurt:

  35 H5186 להטות To turn aside H4941 משׁפט the right H1397 גבר of a man H5048 נגד before H6440 פני the face H5945 עליון׃ of the most High,

  7 H1 אב by father H517 ואם and mother: H7043 הקלו In thee have they set light H1616 בך לגר with the stranger: H6213 עשׂו of thee have they dealt H6233 בעשׁק by oppression H8432 בתוכך in the midst H3490 יתום the fatherless H490 ואלמנה and the widow. H3238 הונו׃ in thee have they vexed

  7 H7602 השׁאפים That pant H5921 על after H6083 עפר the dust H776 ארץ of the earth H7218 בראשׁ on the head H1800 דלים of the poor, H1870 ודרך the way H6035 ענוים of the meek: H5186 יטו and turn aside H376 ואישׁ and a man H1 ואביו and his father H1980 ילכו will go in H413 אל unto H5291 הנערה the maid, H4616 למען to H2490 חלל profane H853 את   H8034 שׁם name: H6944 קדשׁי׃ my holy

  11 H3651 לכן therefore H3282 יען Forasmuch H1318 בושׁסכם as your treading H5921 על upon H1800 דל the poor, H4864 ומשׂאת him burdens H1250 בר of wheat: H3947 תקחו and ye take H4480 ממנו from H1004 בתי houses H1496 גזית of hewn stone, H1129 בניתם ye have built H3808 ולא but ye shall not H3427 תשׁבו dwell H3754 בם כרמי vineyards, H2531 חמד pleasant H5193 נטעתם in them; ye have planted H3808 ולא but ye shall not H8354 תשׁתו drink H853 את   H3196 יינם׃ wine

  12 H3588 כי For H3045 ידעתי I know H7227 רבים your manifold H6588 פשׁעיכם transgressions H6099 ועצמים and your mighty H2403 חטאתיכם sins: H6887 צררי they afflict H6662 צדיק the just, H3947 לקחי they take H3724 כפר a bribe, H34 ואביונים the poor H8179 בשׁער in the gate H5186 הטו׃ and they turn aside

  5 H7126 וקרבתי And I will come near H413 אליכם to H4941 למשׁפט you to judgment; H1961 והייתי and I will be H5707 עד witness H4116 ממהר a swift H3784 במכשׁפים against the sorcerers, H5003 ובמנאפים and against the adulterers, H7650 ובנשׁבעים swearers, H8267 לשׁקר and against false H6231 ובעשׁקי and against those that oppress H7939 שׂכר in wages, H7916 שׂכיר the hireling H490 אלמנה the widow, H3490 ויתום and the fatherless, H5186 ומטי and that turn aside H1616 גר the stranger H3808 ולא not H3372 יראוני and fear H559 אמר me, saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H6635 צבאות׃ of hosts.

  49 H5375 ישׂא shall bring H3068 יהוה The LORD H5921 עליך against H1471 גוי a nation H7350 מרחק thee from far, H7097 מקצה from the end H776 הארץ of the earth, H834 כאשׁר as H1675 ידאה flieth; H5404 הנשׁר the eagle H1471 גוי a nation H834 אשׁר whose H3808 לא thou shalt not H8085 תשׁמע understand; H3956 לשׁנו׃ tongue

  6 H136 ואדני For the Lord H8085 השׁמיע to hear H853 את   H4264 מחנה had made the host H758 ארם of the Syrians H6963 קול a noise H7393 רכב of chariots, H6963 קול and a noise H5483 סוס of horses, H6963 קול the noise H2428 חיל host: H1419 גדול of a great H559 ויאמרו and they said H376 אישׁ one H413 אל to H251 אחיו another, H2009 הנה Lo, H7936 שׂכר hath hired H5921 עלינו against H4428 מלך the king H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H853 את   H4428 מלכי us the kings H2850 החתים of the Hittites, H853 ואת   H4428 מלכי and the kings H4714 מצרים of the Egyptians, H935 לבוא to come H5921 עלינו׃ upon

  7 H6965 ויקומו Wherefore they arose H5127 וינוסו and fled H5399 בנשׁף in the twilight, H5800 ויעזבו and left H853 את   H168 אהליהם their tents, H853 ואת   H5483 סוסיהם and their horses, H853 ואת   H2543 חמריהם and their asses, H4264 המחנה even the camp H834 כאשׁר as H1931 היא it H5127 וינסו and fled H413 אל for H5315 נפשׁם׃ their life.

  8 H935 ויבאו came H6879 המצרעים lepers H428 האלה And when these H5704 עד to H7097 קצה the uttermost part H4264 המחנה of the camp, H935 ויבאו they went H413 אל into H168 אהל tent, H259 אחד one H398 ויאכלו and did eat H8354 וישׁתו and drink, H5375 וישׂאו and carried H8033 משׁם thence H3701 כסף silver, H2091 וזהב and gold, H899 ובגדים and raiment, H1980 וילכו and went H2934 ויטמנו and hid H7725 וישׁבו and came again, H935 ויבאו and entered H413 אל into H168 אהל tent, H312 אחר another H5375 וישׂאו and carried H8033 משׁם thence H1980 וילכו and went H2934 ויטמנו׃ and hid

  15 H1980 וילכו And they went H310 אחריהם after H5704 עד them unto H3383 הירדן Jordan: H2009 והנה and, lo, H3605 כל all H1870 הדרך the way H4392 מלאה full H899 בגדים of garments H3627 וכלים and vessels, H834 אשׁר which H7993 השׁליכו had cast away H758 ארם the Syrians H2648 בהחפזם in their haste. H7725 וישׁבו returned, H4397 המלאכים And the messengers H5046 ויגדו and told H4428 למלך׃ the king.

  14 H4100 ומה What H6213 אעשׂה then shall I do H3588 כי when H6965 יקום riseth up? H410 אל God H3588 וכי and when H6485 יפקד he visiteth, H4100 מה what H7725 אשׁיבנו׃ shall I answer

  16 H408 אל Be not H3372 תירא thou afraid H3588 כי when H6238 יעשׁר is made rich, H376 אישׁ one H3588 כי when H7235 ירבה is increased; H3519 כבוד the glory H1004 ביתו׃ of his house

  17 H3588 כי For when H3808 לא nothing H4194 במותו he dieth H3947 יקח he shall carry H3605 הכל nothing H3808 לא shall not H3381 ירד descend H310 אחריו after H3519 כבודו׃ away: his glory

  4 H3808 לא not H3276 יועיל profit H1952 הון Riches H3117 ביום in the day H5678 עברה of wrath: H6666 וצדקה but righteousness H5337 תציל delivereth H4194 ממות׃ from death.

  20 H3117 ביום day H1931 ההוא In that H7993 ישׁליך shall cast H120 האדם a man H853 את   H457 אלילי his idols H3701 כספו of silver, H853 ואת   H457 אלילי and his idols H2091 זהבו of gold, H834 אשׁר which H6213 עשׂו they made H7812 לו להשׁתחות for himself to worship, H2661 לחפר to the moles H2661 פרות   H5847 ולעטלפים׃ and to the bats;

  21 H935 לבוא To go H5366 בנקרות into the clefts H6697 הצרים of the rocks, H5585 ובסעפי and into the tops H5553 הסלעים of the ragged rocks, H6440 מפני for H6343 פחד fear H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H1926 ומהדר and for the glory H1347 גאונו of his majesty, H6965 בקומו when he ariseth H6206 לערץ to shake terribly H776 הארץ׃ the earth.

  14 H3651 לכן Therefore H7337 הרחיבה hath enlarged H7585 שׁאול hell H5315 נפשׁה herself, H6473 ופערה and opened H6310 פיה her mouth H1097 לבלי without H2706 חק measure: H3381 וירד shall descend H1926 הדרה and their glory, H1995 והמונה and their multitude, H7588 ושׁאונה and their pomp, H5938 ועלז׃ and he that rejoiceth,

  26 H5375 ונשׂא And he will lift up H5251 נס an ensign H1471 לגוים to the nations H7350 מרחוק from far, H8319 ושׁרק and will hiss H7097 לו מקצה unto them from the end H776 הארץ of the earth: H2009 והנה and, behold, H4120 מהרה with speed H7031 קל swiftly: H935 יבוא׃ they shall come

  6 H559 ואמר shall say H3427 ישׁב And the inhabitant H339 האי isle H2088 הזה of this H3117 ביום day, H1931 ההוא in that H2009 הנה Behold, H3541 כה such H4007 מבטנו our expectation, H834 אשׁר whither H5127 נסנו we flee H8033 שׁם whither H5833 לעזרה for help H5337 להנצל to be delivered H6440 מפני from H4428 מלך the king H804 אשׁור of Assyria: H349 ואיך and how H4422 נמלט escape? H587 אנחנו׃ shall we

  21 H3588 כי For, H2009 הנה behold, H3068 יהוה the LORD H3318 יצא cometh H4725 ממקומו out of his place H6485 לפקד to punish H5771 עון for their iniquity: H3427 ישׁב the inhabitants H776 הארץ of the earth H5921 עליו cover H1540 וגלתה also shall disclose H776 הארץ the earth H853 את   H1818 דמיה her blood, H3808 ולא and shall no H3680 תכסה cover H5750 עוד more H5921 על   H2026 הרוגיה׃ her slain.

  1 H1945 הוי Woe H1121 בנים children, H5637 סוררים to the rebellious H5002 נאם saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H6213 לעשׂות that take H6098 עצה counsel, H3808 ולא but not H4480 מני of H5258 ולנסך me; and that cover H4541 מסכה with a covering, H3808 ולא but not H7307 רוחי of my spirit, H4616 למען that H5595 ספות they may add H2403 חטאת sin H5921 על to H2403 חטאת׃ sin:

  2 H1980 ההלכים That walk H3381 לרדת to go down H4714 מצרים into Egypt, H6310 ופי at my mouth; H3808 לא and have not H7592 שׁאלו asked H5810 לעוז to strengthen H4581 במעוז themselves in the strength H6547 פרעה of Pharaoh, H2620 ולחסות and to trust H6738 בצל in the shadow H4714 מצרים׃ of Egypt!

  3 H1961 והיה be H4581 לכם מעוז Therefore shall the strength H6547 פרעה of Pharaoh H1322 לבשׁת your shame, H2622 והחסות and the trust H6738 בצל in the shadow H4714 מצרים of Egypt H3639 לכלמה׃ confusion.

  16 H559 ותאמרו But ye said, H3808 לא No; H3588 כי for H5921 על upon H5483 סוס horses; H5127 ננוס we will flee H5921 על therefore H3651 כן therefore H5127 תנוסון shall ye flee: H5921 ועל upon H7031 קל the swift; H7392 נרכב and, We will ride H5921 על therefore H3651 כן therefore H7043 יקלו you be swift. H7291 רדפיכם׃ shall they that pursue

  27 H2009 הנה Behold, H8034 שׁם the name H3068 יהוה of the LORD H935 בא cometh H4801 ממרחק from far, H1197 בער burning H639 אפו his anger, H3514 וכבד heavy: H4858 משׂאה and the burden H8193 שׂפתיו his lips H4390 מלאו are full H2195 זעם of indignation, H3956 ולשׁונו and his tongue H784 כאשׁ fire: H398 אכלת׃ as a devouring

  28 H7307 ורוחו And his breath, H5158 כנחל stream, H7857 שׁוטף as an overflowing H5704 עד of H6677 צואר the neck, H2673 יחצה shall reach to the midst H5130 להנפה to sift H1471 גוים the nations H5299 בנפת with the sieve H7723 שׁוא of vanity: H7448 ורסן and a bridle H8582 מתעה causing to err. H5921 על in H3895 לחיי the jaws H5971 עמים׃ of the people,

  1 H1945 הוי Woe H3381 הירדים to them that go down H4714 מצרים to Egypt H5833 לעזרה for help; H5921 על on H5483 סוסים horses, H8172 ישׁענו and stay H982 ויבטחו and trust H5921 על in H7393 רכב chariots, H3588 כי because H7227 רב many; H5921 ועל and in H6571 פרשׁים horsemen, H3588 כי because H6105 עצמו they are very strong; H3966 מאד they are very strong; H3808 ולא not H8159 שׁעו but they look H5921 על unto H6918 קדושׁ the Holy One H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H853 ואת   H3068 יהוה the LORD! H3808 לא neither H1875 דרשׁו׃ seek

  2 H1571 וגם also H1931 הוא Yet he H2450 חכם wise, H935 ויבא and will bring H7451 רע evil, H853 ואת   H1697 דבריו his words: H3808 לא and will not H5493 הסיר call back H6965 וקם but will arise H5921 על against H1004 בית the house H7489 מרעים of the evildoers, H5921 ועל and against H5833 עזרת the help H6466 פעלי of them that work H205 און׃ iniquity.

  3 H4714 ומצרים Now the Egyptians H120 אדם men, H3808 ולא and not H410 אל God; H5483 וסוסיהם and their horses H1320 בשׂר flesh, H3808 ולא and not H7307 רוח spirit. H3068 ויהוה When the LORD H5186 יטה shall stretch out H3027 ידו his hand, H3782 וכשׁל shall fall, H5826 עוזר both he that helpeth H5307 ונפל shall fall down, H5826 עזר and he that is helped H3162 ויחדו together. H3605 כלם and they all H3615 יכליון׃ shall fail

  14 H6342 פחדו are afraid; H6726 בציון in Zion H2400 חטאים The sinners H270 אחזה hath surprised H7461 רעדה fearfulness H2611 חנפים the hypocrites. H4310 מי Who H1481 יגור among us shall dwell H784 לנו אשׁ fire? H398 אוכלה with the devouring H4310 מי who H1481 יגור among us shall dwell H4168 לנו מוקדי burnings? H5769 עולם׃ with everlasting

  3 H935 ויבא Then came H3470 ישׁעיהו Isaiah H5030 הנביא the prophet H413 אל unto H4428 המלך king H2396 חזקיהו Hezekiah, H559 ויאמר and said H413 אליו unto H4100 מה him, What H559 אמרו said H582 האנשׁים   H428 האלה these H370 ומאין and from whence H935 יבאו came H413 אליך they unto H559 ויאמר said, H2396 חזקיהו thee? And Hezekiah H776 מארץ country H7350 רחוקה from a far H935 באו They are come H413 אלי unto H894 מבבל׃  

  6 H2009 הנה Behold, H3117 ימים the days H935 באים come, H5375 ונשׂא shall be carried H3605 כל that all H834 אשׁר that H1004 בביתך in thine house, H834 ואשׁר and which H686 אצרו have laid up in store H1 אבתיך thy fathers H5704 עד until H3117 היום day, H2088 הזה this H894 בבל to Babylon: H3808 לא nothing H3498 יותר shall be left, H1697 דבר nothing H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה׃ the LORD.

  7 H1121 ומבניך   H834 אשׁר that H3318 יצאו shall issue H4480 ממך from H834 אשׁר thee, which H3205 תוליד thou shalt beget, H3947 יקחו shall they take away; H1961 והיו and they shall be H5631 סריסים eunuchs H1964 בהיכל in the palace H4428 מלך of the king H894 בבל׃ of Babylon.
